Chapter 11
The Quest
~~(Po's POV)~~
Yep, Tigress want's me to come along with her to search for her unknown parents. Why? I'm unsure. What I do know, is that she is so focused and concentrated on this task. I've never seen anything like it, Kung Fu? Stopped training. Workout? Quit. Meditating? Extraordinary increase. I also don't understand how the rest of the five are not paying attention to Tigress. The only person I know who is concerned about Tigress, is me, and Viper. That's all. Why? I guess the others are afraid to help her since she clawed my face. Wow! Did that hurt so bad? Heck yea it did, holy mother of god. That was so painful!
Anyway, I guess the only thing to do is pack up and help out. I need to get that backpack I left at my dad's noodle shop. That was really useful, But heavy! I guess I need to talk to Tigress about what happened with her and Shifu, I hope he wasn't disappointed or anxious.
~~(10 Minutes Later - No POV)~~
Po had started a conversation with Tigress. She was in a neutral mood. She was undeniably interested in Po's questions and statements. She would always ask him or comment on something he said. She began to smile when he started complimenting her.
"But seriously, those claws are killer!"
"Thanks, I'm sorry you don't have claws."
"Well. I do, but they're not very…nevermind."
She chuckled.
"Are you prepared for the adventure?" She asked.
"Nope! still need more time!"
"We're leaving the day after next."
"I know."
Po stared into the gorgeous eyes of Master Tigress. The gold/emerald (A/N: Are they gold or emerald green? I can't tell, Can someone tell me? Thanks!) eyes of master Tigress had Po in a dream. They shined infinitely. Not comparable to anyone else's.
"Tigress?'
"Yes, Po?"
"Has anyone ever complimented your eyes you have?"
"I don't think so. Why?"
"They're absolutely…amazing!"
"You really think so?"
"Seriously, So epic!"
Po managed to flatter Tigress. She seemed to be comfortable talking to him about this without mentioning the adventure much. She liked it when they talked. Though, she only had the least of chances to speak to the Dragon Warrior.
The two of course were sitting in the dim moon light outside the barracks. Laying on their backs and staring up at the sky. Po talked with Crane sometimes like this as well, trying to figure out how many craters were on the moon. Or finding constellations.
Po gulped, he wanted to tell her something he deeply felt for her.
"T-Tigress?"
"Yep?"
"Do you like someone? Like, like like?"
"Like?"
"No I mean, do you have a crush on someone?"
"Uh, I kinda do, actually."
"Really? I didn't know you were like that!"
"Like what?"
"Err…Uh…Lovey-Dovey?"
"What?"
"Nothing!"
"…"
"What I'm saying is, I've always thought you were just hardcore. That's all."
Tigress sighed. She leaned to the left and stretched a bit. She realized that Po always thought of her without a heart. Nothing but just a plain, simple warrior with nothing to do but Kung Fu. Was this what she always have looked like?
"I'm not all hardcore, you know." She smiled.
"I-I kinda have always saw you like that, but I know deep down your full of it."
Tigress glared. "What did you-"
"I mean! Like, good stuff. I'm sorry!"
She rolled her eyes and looked back at the sky.
"I understand." She said.
Po caught his breath after his unexpected comment that was unintended to be an insult.
"I'm really sorry I clawed your precious face off, It was just muscle spasm."
"Yeah, right!" Po laughed.
She smiled, unstoppable anger was no joke, and has no excuse. Tigress had anger that still needed to be controlled. She knew that Po would always remember that. It's so awkward for them to talk about it.
"I need to tell you something, Po."
"What's up?"
"The person…who I deeply in love with…is"
Her statement was soon interrupted when Monkey had opened the doors to see where the two were located. "Hey! Me and Crane made this cool Japanese food called Su-" He sighed, He mimicked a few words and slowly closed the doors with an annoyed face, "Love birds…" He softly mimicked and finally slammed the doors.
"You were saying?"
"I can't tell you, not now at least."
"Whatever you say. *yawn* I'm going to hit the jackpot. You commin'?"
"Maybe a little bit. I'm gonna stay out a little longer. It that's okay."
"Sure, I Can't sleep without a goodnight, anti-bed bug hug!"
He chuckled.
She smiled as she raised herself from the ground and allowed him to hug her. The soft fur of Po made Tigress feel a little bit better than before.
"Night!"
"Good night, Po."
The panda slimmed his way back to his room after throwing the doors open and skipping to his room like a star just hit him. Tigress laid back down onto the grass near the barracks. The wind howled through the air like a sled through snow. The moon light shined upon the eyes of the tiger. The one who desired a mission that could be inconceivable if successful. The tiger would not dare to lose someone of great kin, Or who she thought was worthy of being kin.
~~(Tigress's POV)~~
I couldn't tell him! I'm a kung fu warrior! And I couldn't tell Po! I couldn't tell the most nicest person known in China! Love, Love is something that is so powerful. You can die from it. Or, you can die with it. It makes you weaker, vulnerable, and it's incredible how I can be undetermined and hesitant to accomplish a task of friendship and trust! I should just stop panicking. It's just a simple statement.
I need some rest. Goodnight, Tigress. The best person I can be.
That's it for now! I wish everyone a happy new year! Review!
