Sibella Dracula, Tanis, Debra Fenton (Phantasma), Danny Fenton, Momo, and Miss Grimwood sat in chairs in Miss G's office. The group had just concluded telling each other what had happened to them. The girls were really concerned about what had happened to Shaggy, Scooby, and Winnie. Miss Grimwood had not seen any of them around the school, and she couldn't even remember how she had traveled from Shaggy's new mansion back to the school.
Looking around Miss Grimwood sighed. Worried about her last student. When she had graduated from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry she had tried finding a job with the ministry of magic. However because she had tried to convince everyone around her to give Harry Potter to the dark lord out of fear, no one was willing to even talk to her. It didn't help her parents had fought and died alongside Voldemort. Sighing she pulled out a necklace with the initials "p/p" engraved into the silver metal.
"Miss Grimwood? Can you tell us how to get to this mansion? After all, we need to see if there are any clues to tell us what happened to yourself and the others."
Miss Grimwood smiled at Sibella. "The mansion is not far from here at all."
Danny looked up. "If that's the case, why don't Debra and I scout out the mansion while the rest of you approach at a slower rate?" Seeing Sibella wanted to say something Danny raised his hand. "Our ability to turn invisible and so it is less likely we would be spotted before the rest of you get there."
"I can also fly" Sibella replied. "And I can protect you both in case someone tries to surprise attack you."
Danny and Debra shared a look. "That might be a good idea" Debra said smiling at Sibella. "After all we've all been attacked while trying to reconnect. Well, all except for Danny."
Danny nodded. "Ok. Let's see what we can find." With that Danny, Debra, and Sibella flew out the window flying west.
Tanis looked over at Miss Grimwood. "Miss G? What is that necklace?"
Miss Grimwood blanched. She had forgotten her necklace was still visible around her neck. Sighing she looked at Tanis.
"This is a reminder of my younger days."
Tanis tilted her head in confusion. "Then who is p/p?"
Tanis was surprised when tears gathered in Miss Grimwood's eyes. "Those are my old initials."
Momo looked up with a sharp expression. "So I would guess your last name wasn't originally Grimwood?"
"No. My original name was Pansy Parkinson. I really don't want to go into why, but I changed my name to Pansy Grimwood when I founded this school for ghouls."
Tanis and Momo nodded. Momo lifted a scope and looked out the window in the direction Danny and the others had flown. Scanning the sky she spotted Sibella circling two humans standing and talking to one another.
"Tanis?"
She turned to Momo. "Yes Momo?"
"Did Danny or Debra tell you what Danny's girlfriend looks like?"
"No. Why do you ask?"
"Because I can see Danny talking with a girl dressed in black, and I'm not sure but it doesn't look like a friendly conversation."
Pansy walked over and taking the scope looked at the scene at the bottom of the hill. Momo was right about the conversation. Danny looked like he wanted to walk away, but for some reason he just stood there and continued talking with the girl.
"I think we should go and see what all the fuss is about" Pansy said nodding to the girls. Without a word Momo picked up her gun, and the three of them walked out of Pansy's office.
As Danny was flying with his sister and her friend he was asking Debra about the area.
"Hay sis. Anything I need to know about this area?"
"I know about a mansion only half a mile from the school, but I've never been inside. So I'm not sure what we can expect."
Sibella flew next to the two ghosts. "I've heard that this hill was a sight for a battle during the civil war. Although I'm not certain about that."
Just as Danny was about to reply to Sibella, he saw Debra being sucked down into a familiar looking thermos. Looking down he spotted Sam Manson standing at the bottom of the hill he and Sibella were flying over with a satisfied look on her face.
"Sibella will you keep an eye on me? I'm going to see if I can talk Sam into giving me the thermos to free Debra."
Sibella was quite understandably furious at what she heard, but she wasn't the vampire princess for nothing. Breathing deeply she nodded to Danny, and climbed higher so she could see everything. She did promise herself however if Danny failed to rescue her friend that she would show this Sam what wearing black really meant.
Danny landed beside Sam and transformed back into Danny Fenton. "Hay Sam, what brings you here?"
"I came to find you, and convince you to return to Amity Park."
"Ok, so why did you use the thermos to capture the ghost I was flying with?"
"Danny! You know as well as I do that all ghosts are evil."
"By your logic that means I'm also evil."
Sam huffed. "It's not the same. You are only half ghost. Because of this you aren't evil."
"So you are saying because of an accident, even though I turn into a ghost I'm not evil?"
"Exactly."
"So if one is killed by accident and has no way of entering the ghost zone wouldn't that mean they aren't evil either?"
Sam frowned. "If someone dies they always enter the ghost zone."
"Not everyone. I have met someone who never had the chance to reach the gz."
"Right" Sam snorted. "And who is this person?"
"Why don't you call Jasmin and ask her about my dead sister."
Sam's mouth fell open, but sure this was some kind of joke she pulled out her phone and dialed Jasmin.
"Hay jaz. Danny told me to ask you about a dead sister."
Sam was surprised when she heard a whale over the line. When Jasmin stopped she told Sam about Danny's twin sister. Sam couldn't believe what she was hearing. Danny had a twin sister that had died because of an accident in the Fenton's lab.
"Thanks Jaz" Sam told her disconnecting the call. "So why did you have me make that call Danny?"
Danny noticed a van driving toward them and the hill. "Because the ghost you just captured is my sister."
Sam's mouth opened wide in surprise. However instead of releasing the ghost at once, Sam started laughing shrilly. "So I have your sister? This is priceless. I'll let her go if you agree to come back to Amity Park and hunt ghosts the way I want you to. Otherwise I'll just leave her in the thermos forever and never come back. So what do you say?"
Unnoticed by either Danny or Sam the van stopped around a bend, and Momo climbed out with her gun pointed at Sam. Pansy and Tanis stood behind her ready to help if needed.
Danny's face darkened. "Are you really stooping to blackmail Samantha Manson?"
Sam blinked at the use of her full name. Danny had never called her Samantha before.
"What if I am? It's not like you can do anything about it."
Without warning a shell landed in front of Sam. Startling her into taking a step back. Looking around Sam couldn't see anyone who had fired the shell. Aiming the thermos at Danny Sam growled, "If anything else happens to me I'll see to it your sister remains trapped in thi..."
Sam was cut off when bandages shot out from nowhere and wrapped around her mouth. In addition to cutting off her speech, the bandages kept Sam trapped in place. To Sam's surprise a woman walked around the bend in the road, and reaching Sam took the thermos from her hand.
"Am I to understand that you decided you had the right to imprison one of my students?"
"It looks that way Miss Grimwood" Danny replied.
Pansy turned to Danny. "Forgive me Danny, but do you know how to release whoever is trapped in this device?"
"Sure" Danny said taking the thermos, and twisting a nob on one side. With a hiss the top of the thermos popped open, and Debra flew out.
"Oh thanks Danny" She said placing a kiss on his cheek.
"Not a problem sis."
Momo walked up beside Sam and pointed her gun at her. This caused Sam's eyes to widen.
"So what do we do with this woman?"
Tanis smiled evilly. "We could just leave her on the side of the hill with her mouth sealed."
"No Tanis" Danny said laying a hand on the mummy's shoulder. "Even with what she has become I can't leave her to die in this manner. Besides if she dies, she'll probably come back to haunt me, and I have enough ghosts trying to ruin my life."
This caused the group not counting Sam to laugh.
"For now why don't we tie her up and place her in the back of the van" Pansy suggested. Everyone nodded to the idea, and after searching Sam to be sure she couldn't cut her way out of the bonds, Danny and Momo loaded her into the back of the van. Strapping her down to the very back seat.
As they were finishing with this, Sibella landed beside Tanis and told her, "I found the mansion Miss Grimwood was telling us about. Interestingly behind the mansion is a small white house with a boarded up front door."
"Anything special about it?"
"Not that I could see, but I didn't look inside."
"Any other way in?"
"There is a small window on the east side of the house, but I doubt any of us can fit through it."
Just then they heard the van door slam, and Danny and Momo joined them. Sibella filled them in on what she had seen.
Momo looked interested. "If one of you can get me to the house I can blast that door right off its hinges."
With a flash of light Danny transformed into Danny Phantom. "Sibella, do you think there's a way to reach the house from the mansion?"
"I'm sure there is, but I couldn't find it."
"Ok, I'll take Momo, Debra can you take Tanis, and Sibella can you take Miss Grimwood?" The other two nodded.
Debra swept down and picked up Tanis. Sibella transformed into a bat, and picked up Pansy. Danny had Momo cradled in one arm as he hovered over the mansion. With a little struggle Sibella lead the other two fliers to the little house she had spotted while circling. As she had told the others it didn't look like much.
"What's with the mailbox?"
Debra and Tanis landed to take a look. Upon opening the box they all heard an alarm ringing in the house.
"Well that shoots the idea about this being just a small house" Debra commented as she and Tanis turned toward the house.
Momo jumped from Danny's arms landing gracefully as she pointed her gun at the front door. With a single shot she reduced the door to splinters.
The group heard yelling from the east side of the house as they rushed into what was once a living room. Pansy had time to notice a display case that had once held, based on the shards, a pair of twin swords, and a sphere with an x on one side. She had her old wand out and was scanning for threats.
Danny, Debra, and Sibella were each covering one of the others from above. Debra and Tanis searched a passage in the west wall. It seemed to lead to an empty room except for a staircase that lead up to what once may have been a treasure room. While Sibella protected Pansy, Danny and Momo rushed through a doorway into a kitchen. This was where the window Sibella had told them about was located. The window was slightly open, allowing what looked like women from their dress were rushing around the house.
"This is a dead-end" Momo said looking at Danny. Nodding Danny turned back toward the living room and spotted the first person rushing through the shattered front door.
Pansy had her hands full. Even with Sibella using her hypnotic gaze to freeze people in their tracks, there seemed to be an endless supply of them. Despite this Pansy wasn't standing idol. Her wand was in constant motion stunning anyone that got past Sibella's gaze. Without warning a rose came sailing through the open doorway.
"Sibella! Duck!"
Without hesitation Sibella flew down behind Pansy, and watched as the rose was frozen in midair.
Danny and Momo ran or flew back into the living room just in time to see the rose get thrown through the door. While Danny used his ice powers to freeze it, Momo spotted the person outside who had tried throwing a rose into the battle. She didn't understand what the point of that was, but she wasn't willing to take chances. Moving a lever on her gun she changed the properties of her ammo to ice, and fired a shell over Sibella's and Pansy's heads. There was an explosion and Ice started forming on the doorway. It froze quickly, to the point a shield of ice four feet thick blocked the doorway.
"Well there's no getting out that way" Debra said as she and Tanis return from their inspection of the western passage.
Shaggy, Scooby, Winnie, Crystal, and Thorn were following a passage south into a cellar when they heard an explosion above them. "Like I wonder what that was."
Looking around Winnie spotted a trapdoor in the ceiling. "This is one of the ways out of this dungeon."
Shaggy stood on Scooby's shoulders and pushed against the door. For some reason it wouldn't budge. Deciding on a simpler idea, Shaggy started knocking on the trap door.
Danny had just return from inspecting the attic found upstairs from the kitchen, when everyone was surprised to hear what sounded like knocking from under the floor. Pansy, Momo, and Tanis started searching the floor. It was Tanis who found the rug was movable, revealing a closed trapdoor. With Momo's help they pulled up the door.
"COACH SHAGGY!"
Meanwhile in England Elsa finished writing a letter. "I hope you can help me solve this mystery Coach" she thought as she sealed and addressed the envelope.
An: well the gang is almost completely back together. I say almost because we will never see all five of the Ghoul School girls together at once. This will be explained in the next chapter. Also I have to say I'm sorry about how late this chapter is coming out. Last week my internet decided to go out and so I couldn't upload this chapter at that time. I do feel this chapter is better than it was going to be though because of this. Yes I stole Pansy from Harry Potter, and that is why I put the disclaimer at the start of this chapter. Also about Momo's gun. It doesn't work this way in the game, and Momo can't create walls of ice there. I just felt it was a good idea to help lead into the next chapter. Next up we meat and stop our villain. I invite anyone to take a guess at who it is. There are clues spread throughout the story.
