Chapter 11

Rolling In The Deep.

I was sat on the toilet bashfully pulling my clothes on as my mind played images back to me of last night. I was thankful that I hadn't woken up with morning wood, or had some kind of sex dream with Clyde sleeping so closely to me.
None of us had mentioned anything particular about it, but it had to be at the forefront of his mind too.
Clipping my belt in and leaving the bathroom I came face to face with a smiling Ruby
"Morning Craig!" Her hair was messy and although she had the eyes of someone who had just woken up her face was beaming. It made me smile to see her so happy.
"Morning Ruby" I ruffled her hair and stepped aside.
"What time are we going home?" She raised her eyebrows up at me and I shrugged
"I dunno, soon, maybe" I had the feeling I would no doubt be here later anyway, but I couldn't keep Ruby here with me all day as well, especially since last night might come up in conversation.
Walking back into Clyde's bedroom I was greeted with his brawny back. I felt ill with anxiety.
He looked over at me and smiled, my heart pounded and I was fiddling with the rim of my T-shirt.
"Hey hey cheeky, did Tweek give you that love bite?" He nodded his head to the mark on my neck. I clasped a hand over it and shook my head slowly.
"Really? Who did then? You cheating minx" he laughed and pat me on the shoulder avoiding eye contact at all times.
I frowned my chest scorching; he was going to play oblivious.
"Although cheatings not cool dude, did I tell you about Bebe?" His face grew solemn while he pulled on a red T-shirt with Devil May Cry atop it.
"Yeah you did, last night, before we went to bed..."
"Oh really? Sorry, I must have been so tired that I'd forgotten." He smiled up at me then, standing before me surrounded by his window frame a sunny glow beaming through it.
It wasn't till then that something hit me, something that made me feel so silly, yet angry because I couldn't call him out on it.
"Wait, you know that I'm with Tweek?" He rolled his eyes at me
"Of course I do, if you hadn't told me by now someone else was bound too. Tweek seems pretty happy about it." The last part came out mumbled, and I wondered if he'd actually said it or not. He then nodded his head and, gesturing for me to follow, left his bedroom and descended the stairs to the kitchen the room still smelling faintly of roasted chicken.
I scoffed then, and waved it away when Clyde looked back at me. He'd been lying the whole time and I should have flipping known, how could I not have guessed? At least, judging by this blatant ignorance of what happened last night makes it seem that all the other times we've had a 'drunken make-out' a lie.
I was with Tweek now anyway, it no longer mattered if he was lying, maybe he was lying because he feels embarrassed at how sad he was feeling at the time, and it just so happens that I'm there for those times. I was a comfort pillow and that's all I would ever be.
Glumly I ate breakfast and went home, taking Ruby with me.
I spent the remainder of my day lying about in bed wincing from the healing cuts on my back and wishing that this Christmas holiday would pass.
Due to it being Boxing Day meant that family members from both parents would come over, which meant that I was actually granted permission to hide away in my room for most of the night.

Now that Clyde was single I thought being around him would be easier, but it wasn't, somehow it was worse, worse because now Clyde had free rein to sit as close and be as chummy as he damn well pleased with everyone.
It didn't help that I was still heavily devoted and fully in love with him.
Even if Tweek was around which was a whole different awkward situation for me.
Currently I and aforementioned brunette were sat in a club, Clyde drunk more than I, naturally.
We were back from Christmas break, and our new joint place was a lot better than the last. We even managed to score a five roomer and nabbed a room for Kenny, since he had halls last year. The rooms varied in size but the area and all round design of the house was better.
These past few weeks have been hard for me, as although I wanted to help him get over Bebe, I hated the way that he was going about the whole, you know the 'get drunk to forget my misery' kind of thing. It was unnerving and saddening to watch him go through this, but it had gotten to the point where he wasn't listening to my advice anymore, he just didn't want to really do anything besides drink and sleep with as many girls as he could get his hands on.
"Come on Craig, drink up you're supposed to be my wing-man!" He slapped a heavy hand onto my back.
I coughed and tried to spill as little of my beer as possible.
We both smiled when Kenny slipped out of the crowd and into the back garden with us.
The air was brittle and smelt faintly of smoke and beer. I had a craving for coffee.
"Clyde, I have a boyfriend remember, I can't just get wasted all the time." I sighed and tapped against the tall glassed filled with Guinness in my hands.
Kenny sat down opposite us, and yes I know that what happened with Clyde on Christmas night was cheating, and I did feel bad for that, but I wasn't going to cheat just because I could. Tweek was still my friend after all, and cheating on him with Clyde would only end up in me feeling the worse out of the three, well, probably.
"Clyde still creeping after girls?" That was Kenny's muffled voice, lips stuck around a cigarette.
"I'm not creeping, just weighing my options."
"Its perving Clyde, especially when you come across like a dog in heat, why don't you hump her leg already" Kenny snickered and tapped the cigarette tip against the table; there wasn't an ashtray.
"You can talk Kenny! You do this all the time." Clyde puffed out his cheeks and slouched.
The sound of voices grew as more people ventured outside to smoke.
"I do it with an essence of suave" he waved his hand about, cheeks flushed and eyes tinged red. I smiled and Clyde scoffed, both of us having heard that line many times before.
We sat in silence for a little bit, enjoying the atmosphere, chatter and the soft sound of the music blaring from inside.
The snow had also cleared, for the most part, and was starting to get warmer, so despite having our 'alcohol jackets', it wasn't that cold outside.
"Lets go back in" Clyde cleared his throat and huffed.
"Dude, we don't have to be here if you don't want to be" I glanced at Kenny who shrugged indifferently, but Clyde was already on his feet.
Inside the fog machine was at full blast and left the room smelling thick and misty.
The bar was pretty full as well as the dance floor. It was awkward squeezing past people, but it had to be done.
The purple wallpaper flaked and the public toilets left me wanting to pee outside, but what more could you expect when a mass of drunk people were pissing in the same vicinity.
Kenny and Clyde were happy to slither onto the dance floor, something I was defiantly not drunk enough for and missed the comforts of my hat.
That was until they noticed my 'stiff movements' and forced a handful of shots down my neck, quite literally forced, Clyde had gripped my hair tilting my head back while Kenny nearly drowned me with liquor.
Clyde made us 'dress special' and even bought me a new blue and black checked shirt for 'going out-out'. I had jeans tucked into boots, which, according to Kenny, made my long legs look 'sexy'.
Pressed tightly against people I swayed my body with everyone else's damp salty flesh, and felt the rhythm of instruments vibrate around and through us.
Kenny was in front of me, the most I remember is Kenny's little face, eyes drowsy with a smile on his lips, his little legs occasionally knocking mine. Clyde's hip and shoulder continued to touch me softly, brushing against my skin, his fingers caressing my limp hand, him loosely lacing them.
Yep my past few weeks had mounted down to this, to me grinded ass with strangers, to getting continuously drunk, to babysitting my best friend, and to listen nearly every night to the sound of Clyde and some girl he'd met bumping uglies in the next room.
"Oh, yes, Clyde!" I slapped a hand to my face and rolled over onto my front. There was only so many times I could masturbate to the sound of Clyde having sex before it got creepy, too creepy.
That laugh, he would always chuckle, deep and sexy when whoever he was fucking would exclaim like this.
I hated my life.

In the morning I got up and made toast, numbly waving off Stan and Kyle as they left for class.
I had a robotic body cloak so no matter what time I went to bed I would wake up automatically around the same time.
Kenny wouldn't be up till at least after three, and Clyde would be up any minute now, but first, I was eagerly awaiting the girl that would be leaving his room this morning, yes because I wanted to judge her in the daylight and see that bashful and awkward smile while she left.
And there it was.
I smiled at her, wondering if she remembered speaking to me, and how she came onto me before I brushed her off onto Clyde.
She ran her fingers through her hair, knotted and dirty, another long raven haired girl with boobs bigger than what her thin frame could handle.
Clyde patted down the steps not long after the front door closed. His boxers hanging low and the hint of a smile on his round flushed cheeks.
I swallowed, dimples were my weakness.
"Morning!" He patted my cheek and I smelt it, not to be crude, but I smelt it on his fingers and they were touching my face...
"Dude!" Shrieking I rub my cheek onto my shoulder, Clyde laughs.
"You can smell her right?" He snickers and then smells his fingers
"The fuck Clyde, that is, is so, ugh, was your fucking hands." I point at the sink and stare wide eyed at him and with how messy my hair is in the morning I probably looked crazed.
"Yeah, yeah, she was hot for it though"
"Clyde I don't care about you getting your jollies but you could you at least try and keep it down, I can hear everything next door"
"You're just jealous that Tweek isn't putting out" he winks at me and sits down opposite me at the kitchen table.
"Clyde" I frowned at him and his unnecessary jibe "We haven't even tried to do anything like that. Tweek's really shy."
"Ah, so you're just frustrated then?"
"When did you turn into a pig headed idiot? I know you're bit stupid Clyde, but relationships aren't just about sex. I don't mind the pace that we're going at..." Fiddling with my spoon I stared down at the table.
To be honest the only thing that was making me sexually frustrated was that hunk of stupid ass meat before me.
"... Whatever you say Craig, I wouldn't hold my breath for a measly hand job anytime soon, even I'm more capable of doing something like that."
"So you are aware that that night happened then? And here I thought I'd imagined the whole thing." I could have buttered bread with the amount of sarcasm that was dripping off my tongue.
He got up and made his way to the kitchen door, and looking over his shoulder muttered
"Say what now?" Leaning up and shouting after his retreating from
"You know what!" Slamming my palm against the table in irritation I washed my bowl and followed him upstairs. Seeing Tweek off with a hug and kiss on the cheek as I passed him the hall.
"Hey Craig...?" Sounded meekly from the left as I wandered past
"Yes Clyde?"
I stepped into my room and we simultaneously got changed, both leaving our bedroom doors open, not that we said anything.
"Am I interrupting something or are you guys just teasing each other?" Sang Kenny's slurred voice from down the hallway, a tinge of a smile in it.
"Not that it would matter, Cragie's taken by little Tweekers." Muttered the brunette next door to me. I rolled my eyes
"Shut up dude."
I didn't need to look to know that he had also rolled his eyes before coming round and leaning his shoulder on the doorframe to my room, sleeves to his red circle neck jumper pushed up to his elbows. He wore jogging bottoms underneath, and suddenly, all his clothes seemed to be just that little bit tighter, not in the sense that Clyde had put on weight or anything, just everything seemed to lie nicely against his body, and smooth around his muscles, gosh that collar bone.
It was as if because I was taken I wasn't allowed to look, that suddenly the curves of Clyde's body screamed out at me.
He crossed his arms over his thick chest and leaned back a little to let Kenny pear his blonde little head in.
"Do you wanna watch Walking Dead?" Mumbled Clyde
"That was the plan" I smile and wave season two at him. He blinks and smiles at me too
"You ready to stuff your face with shit and watch people being eaten?" Kenny's excitement was evident; he loved this kind of stuff, even had sex had while these kinds of films played in the background.
"Who isn't?" My smile turns to a grin when Clyde seems to have changed his mood. Kenny punched a fist into the air and announced that he needed some 'serious coffee' before he did anything else.
Suddenly I was reminded of Tweek.

Later I found myself squashed between Kenny and Clyde, us three sitting together in a dimmed front room and tiny couch. Clyde's body pressed snug against me, his hip bone digging into mine, and the comforts of his strong arm across the back of the couch and tucked under my raven head.
Kenny sat with his feet up, that ever present smirk lingering on his lips as he glanced all around to judge our reactions to the things playing out on screen.
I was feeling stiff and on edge, one being that Clyde is lightly twirling my hair in his fingers, and because Shane was taking Rick to an open field and threatening him with a gun...
That's when it happened, when I sat upright in my seat and cried.
One of them laughed and the other wrapped their arms around me. In the background another voice tapped into the room and asked what was happening.
"Nothing, nothing I'm cool, I'm fine, he was just my favourite character..." Sniffing I cleared my throat awkwardly and felt my cheeks fill up red.
Clyde chuckled and heavily ruffled my hair, his body edged away from me, but not off of the sofa.
Rubbing my eyes I sat back and saw Tweek kneeling in front of me. His blue eyes flickered to the brunette at my right, before slowly falling back to me.
I felt so humiliated.
"D-do you wa-nt a hot chocolate?" The messy blonde's elegant hand gently brushed my fringe to the side, he smiled.
"Sure" together we leave to the kitchen, him taking hold of my wrist. I feel awkward and prickly as I leave.
"W-what were you cry-ing about?" I sat down at the table and watched Tweek buzz about the kitchen. He pulled out all the stops when it came to making hot chocolate, I'm talking melted marshmallows the lot. He managed to make it much more lovingly than I did.
I chuckled "Honestly I have no idea, it just came over me."
Tweek laughed lightly and I watched his eyes squint up with his smile. Gently he placed some biscuits between us and we sat and chatted about how his class was and what happened last night, obviously in a detail that was fair for Tweek.
It wasn't even twenty minutes till Clyde poked his head into the room, leaning his flexed arms on the door frame
"You coming back in?" He nods his head backwards towards the front room where Kenny also sat with a paused television.
"Oh, we're going to watch a film aren't we?" I glance at Tweek, because if I stared at Clyde's chocolate depths any longer I knew I would automatically disregard anything that I and Tweek had planned.
The blonde nodded, staring at Clyde in a peculiar way.
"B-b-ut, um that's not t-t-" He shook his head when the word wouldn't come out and frowned at Clyde, who wasn't smiling but his eyes were squint in a way that didn't say if he was angry or happy.
He then smiled "You're doing it later right? That's what you were trying to say"
Tweek nods and looks deflated.
"So we can watch some more Walking Dead right?" He raised his eyebrows and cocked his head to the side.
I frowned at Clyde and something protective came over me. I wasn't sure entirely what Clyde was trying to convey, but this sense of butch raw masculinity was oozing off of him, and suddenly I felt the need to protect Tweek.
"No we could get started now? Go get something to eat, yeah?" I smiled and the fragile blonde and his whole face seemed to light up. Clyde's voice spoke behind me
"You can just eat what we bought."
"But we're gonna watch it in Tweek's room, and you and Kenny are eating it right?"
Raising my eyebrows I shrugged, Clyde's face soured
"...Sure." Pushing himself away from the doorway he turned and stalked back into the front room and slumped down onto the couch. Kenny's brow creasing from the jostle of Clyde's body nudging his spliff rolling fingers.

Tweek wasn't very open to a lot of good films, not that he didn't enjoy watching them, he just wasn't the type of person to go out of his way to put something on, so slowly I was 'educating' him in all the good films that were out there, in my opinion of course.
Today was Pulp Fiction, which admittedly I was late at joining the bandwagon of, but it was witty and had all the typical things any Quentin Tarantino film would have.
Next would be Tim Burton, but one artist at a time.
Today Tweek was bold enough to hold my hand or even lean against me, and although some people may get frustrated with slow pace, but I found it comforting and privileged that I was the first that Tweek was doing any of this with.

I was sat in the library, gathering together a list of all the stuff I still needed to get done before the summer break and university ended for the year.
Fortunately I was an art student, which meant no exams, but still a lot of work.
Clyde had managed to calm down on the alcohol and was fully knuckling down too.
Glancing up at his face opposite mine I smile at his frustration, having left so much to last minute he was struggling to finish up all his course work in time, in fact, as soon as I've finished making my list I'm going to be helping Clyde with his.
Tweek sat down next to me an hour later laying out his books and the familiar smell of caffeine emanating from him.
Yep, aside from me being taken and Clyde being single, everything had a gone in a full circle and settled back levelly to the ground
Until Token opened his loud mouth one afternoon.
It happened on a summer evening, we were having a barbeque and a small gathering of people, the usual folk plus a couple of new uni friends.
I was sat on the window ledge in my room quickly finishing up on something before I came down. I was perched on the window ledge, the glass open, so I had full view of the garden and all its happenings.
Admits the heat there was a feather of a breeze.
Clyde was sat a beer in hand below my bedroom window with shades on his face, shorts on his body and flip-flops on his feet. The sun glistened off of him, tanning his skin a light gold it made my fingers flex and blood bubble, I wanted to touch him so badly.
Token, also shirtless, but carried a hot dog instead of a beer; being one of those guys that didn't really see the point in alcohol at all, sat down next to him.
"Hey, so, should I be ready to meet a new girlfriend anytime soon?" I heard Token speak first and looked down beneath me to the top of their heads. Clyde shifted in his seat
"Nah, I'm happy being on my own at the moment, well, you know, mess around for a bit."
"Don't you think you've rebounded enough?"
"No, and Craig's happy to come out with me so why not?" Clyde shrugged, and something flittered into me, a panic, suddenly I felt tense.
Token turns his head and I can only assume that he's glancing around the garden.
"You bring Craig with you while you look for girls?" His voice had died down a little.
"Yeah, why not? He's gay so no competition." Again Clyde shrugs and swigs from his bottle, his fingers playing with the label.
"Don't you think it's a little out of order to drag Craig around to help fix you up with girls?"
Clyde sits up and turns fully towards him. I can tell there's a frown on his face by the deepened tone in his voice
"Why, is he whining about it to you? 'Cause tell him to speak to me if he has a problem"
I was on my feet in a second, I didn't know that Token knew this, but I had a sickening feeling of what he was about to confess.
"Because Craig's had a crush on you, since forever, I thought you knew?"
Mentally I screamed and jumped around on the spot, not knowing what to do but needing to move me body.
"What? No way! We're so friend zone he couldn't possibly like me that way..."
His voice was sceptical doubting what he thought he knew.
Token laughed and patted Clyde on the back.
"Good for you if you've never noticed, but to the rest of us, it's more than obvious" and with that he stood and walked back over the grilling meat.
I slapped my hands to my face, eyes wide and shaky
"More than obvious? Fuck." I gripped my hair and took a couple of breaths
"Okay Craig, don't panic, he might not even believe him, hopefully. Oh no! What if he does? I can't talk about this to anyone either, I'm supposed to be fully devoted to Tweek."
Quickly changing into shorts and converses I strolled outside as calm and collected as what I hoped I appeared. It took seconds before my chest and shoulders began to heat, and for me to throw off my hat. My back had fully healed and even if there were slight marks no one questioned me about them, like they did with every other scar I had.
"Finally you decided to join us!" Clyde grinned and sauntered over to me, pressing a cold beer into my hands.
There was a light tinge of sweat on his skin. Every time he moved something flexed.
"You are hot. I mean it's hot outside" I took a swig and briskly made my way to Stan and the frying food. Grabbing a plate I filled it with condiments burgers and hot dogs.
Clyde tagged behind and did the same.
"I'm glad you came down, I was, dude your cheeks are red, have you put any sun screen on?"
"Uh, no..." Awkwardly I shift, knowing what was coming next
"I'll go grab some, stay here" shoving his plate into my hands he jogged off inside. In the corner of my eye Token was watching us.
"Here dufus." I was greeted by the sight of Clyde's toned abdomen before he stepped behind me
"How're you wearing converses man! Someone's got sweaty feet" he laughed and slapped some cream onto my back, it felt cool against my heated skin, either from the sun or the intense blush that was crawling its way over me.
"Well you are wearing flip-flops, so gay!"
"You can talk"
I bit my lip the same time he stepped around me, firstly taking the plates and placing them down.
"What's with the face?" He questions and begins lathering up my chest, before sinking lower.
"It's cold that's all..."
"Oh yeah, I was gonna ask you about a weird conversation I had earlier with Token"
"Really? What did he say?" My voice broke.
Inside I was begging for someone to distract him; I didn't want to answer his question, ever, and I was potentially on the brink of getting fully hard.
His thick hands stopped just short of my waist line, his eyes titling up to look at me. He was so close that it was unbearable.
"He said..." He stops, frozen as time ticked. Our eyes locked, my cheeks felt a fire.
"...Never mind" stepping back from me he picks up his plate and goes inside, everything else continues on.
