Feelings For Her

Sasuke was dashing through the forest.

"Damn…it might take hours before I can catch up with her…" he panted.

"Sakura…don't do anything stupid…don't leave me…" he pleaded for the first time in his life.

"Please…come back to me…"

Sakura got up and sighed.

"Well…I guess I'll go to the hidden village of rain first…" she murmured and started walking.

She stopped when she felt something wet drop on her shoulder.

Sakura looked up and noticed it started to rain.

"Rain…?" she whispered and let herself soak in the weather.

"This sound…so sincere and beautiful…" she closed her eyes and listened to the rain drops.

"Sasuke…where are you right now? I'm guessing that you're very happy that I'm out of your life, right? And…I bet right now, you're with Karin…smiling and laughing at her…" Sakura's tears dropped down with the rain.

Sasuke fluttered his eyes a few times to see through the rain.

"Sakura...I hope that you're safe from this weather…" Sasuke sighed.

"…Why…exactly am I out here, anyways?" he asked himself.

"That note…when I read it…I felt so scared and I didn't know what to do…the only thought in my mind was that you had to be safe…you had to come back to me…" Sasuke narrowed his eyes.

"Since when…since when did I worry and care for you this much? Since when…did I start having these feelings in me? Why do I wish that you were right by my side right now saying I love you everyday to me…why?"

Naruto and the others were resting under a tree.

"Damn…if this weather is going to go on like this, I don't think we can catch up," Naruto growled.

"We'll be able to find them eventually, I hope," Shikimaru sighed.

The others nodded in agreement.

Sakura's vision was blurry.

She walked clumsily, drooping side to side.

She collapsed in the mud and sneezed.

"Sa…suke…" she whispered.

Sakura pulled herself up and walked slowly.

"Just…a few more miles until the Rain village…" Sakura sighed.

"Achoo!" she sneezed again.

"It's raining really hard…" she murmured.

Sakura's vision got blurry.

She rubbed her eyes a few times.

"I…I can't see," Sakura squinted her eyes and rubbed them more, but her vision wouldn't get clearer.

Her head started to get dizzy.

"Ah…" Sakura walked droopily to a tree and plopped right under it.

She closed her eyes, listening to the sound of the rain.

Sasuke panted heavily and rested under a small tree.

"Sakura…where are you?" he shook his head.

"Why am I doing this?" he sighed.

"I've always wanted her to be away from me…but now…" Sakura's smiling face appeared in his mind.

"…now…for some reason…I really want you by me…Sakura, please…stay by my side…" his fists clenched tightly when flashbacks of him and Karin together and Naruto yelling at him came into his mind.

"I know cheating is wrong…I know that…but...I did it anyways," Sasuke stared at his hands.

"I should've listened…I shouldn't listen to you, Naruto…I am really regretting this…I don't want to lose Sakura…" Sasuke's eyes, for once in his entire life…showed sadness.

"I don't want to lose her…I need her with me…I don't want her to leave me…I want her by my side…" Sasuke glared.

"Why am I acting so weak like this? Why…do I care and worry so much for Sakura right now? I need to know…why? Why, how, when, did I ever start to be this attached to her…?" Sasuke looked at the rain.

"Sakura…"

Next Day

Sakura's eyes fluttered open.

She yawned softly and look at the sky.

"It's…still raining…" she sighed.

Sakura slowly got up and walked away.

"I need to get to the Rain village…I can't stop here yet…I know by now that Lady Tsunande probably sent like ten AMBU squad to find me," Sakura smiled faintly.

"I wonder if I might die in a few days. If I keep going like this…surely…I will die soon…" Sakura sighed.

"If I die…wouldn't that be better? No one would know…I wouldn't be burden anymore…no one would have to protect me anymore…and Sasuke would be happy without me…" Sakura coughed.

"Man…I think I caught a cold…" she sniffed and looked down sadly.

The rain was pouring down on her like crazy.

Sakura hugged herself and started to cry.

"I wish…right now…I'd be in Sasuke's arms…but…that's all in my fantasy world…there's no way in hell that he'd hold me with such comfort like that…" Sakura murmured sadly.

"Sasuke…would you be at least a bit worried for me after I wrote that letter to you?" Sakura whispered. "I love you…"

"I love you…"

Sasuke's eyes jerked open.

"Sakura?!" he looked around.

Sasuke shook his head and sighed.

"Damn…I hate to admit it…" Sasuke lowered his head sadly.

"…but…I really miss you, Sakura…" he whispered.

"Why am I feeling this way?" Sasuke sighed in confusion.

He noticed it was still raining and stood up.

He shook his head.

"I have to find her…no matter what…" Sasuke ran out into the rain and continued to search for her.
