Ps, I'm jumping straight to the kokuyo arc since I find no point in dragging any further.

Rie facts that I just remember spontaneously!

She has dozens of aliases at her disposal. She hides who she was behind them, and has abandoned her birth name.

A.N. Bold is in Italian, because it doesn't make sense for her to be speaking Japanese with her Italian peeps.

WARNING! VERY SLOW UPDATES, CUSSING (courtesy of Gokudera and Rie alike) AND POSSIBLE SPONANEOUS SCATTERED CRAPPINESS.

Creepy Mukuro is Creepy Mukuro and Amano Akira-dono is Amano Akira-dono, which is not me. So I own nothing. *curses*

"Trouble with your neigbours?... Kokuyo says beat em up"

Strange accidents have been occurring in Namimori recently… shrill screams in the middle of the night, prefects landing in the hospital with serious injuries that were NOT caused by Hibari, it was all very unsettling. The committee was getting jittery, which didn't help at all, since Hibari began taking it out on other people than his childhood friend. And yet, said childhood friend was completely relaxed and treating the whole thing as if it were non-existent.

"KYOYA!"

Well, almost.

"Hibari Kyoya! Would you stop attacking random prefects?! I got another call from the hospital because you wouldn't answer them the first time! As if the accidents aren't reducing the numbers enough, now you start going all friendly fire on us?!" Rie stormed into a meeting between the demon prefect and a few others, positively seething.

"… You're interrupting." Hibari plainly replied, unfazed by her glare; though the same couldn't be said for the other prefects, who looked ready to piss their pants.

"And you're missing the bloody point!" She stalked over and slammed her hand on the table in front of Hibari. "You want stress release, I'm right here! When have I ever refused a fight from you?! Wait. Don't answer that."

"… could you get to the point?" Hibari said, face faintly twitching with irritation.

"I DID, in case you didn't notice! You're making everyone else unsettled cause they have to worry about getting beat up by you IN ADDITION to the attacks happening lately! You want morale to drop further? Then by all means, continue!"

"…" he didn't speak, but the slight furrow of his eyebrows spoke volumes to her.

She lifted her hand off the table, expression softening along with her voice. "I'm not asking for much, Kyo-kun. Just stop harming those on your side, especially when we need to be on high alert. Any one of us could be next."

"Fine. I'm sleepy." With those parting words, Hibari left the room without looking back.

Rie sighed, massaging her temples, partially relieved and partially annoyed. These kind of small attacks didn't bother her, but the consequences it brought with it did. Unsettled people meant an unsettling environment and tense atmosphere, and she didn't like that.

"Mikazuki-san!" The voice of the upperclassmen prefects snapped her back to reality as she turned to see five beaming faces of gratitude.

"U-uh… Yes?" She suddenly felt very uncomfortable.

"Thank you so much! I thought we were screwed!"

"You're the only one who can oppose the demon and live!"

"Not to mention armed with a killer glare! I almost pissed my pants!"

"Uh, thanks?" Rie was completely taken aback with their response, rendered unable to come up with a more intelligent reply.

Once the seniors had filed out of the room, Rie wasted no time in fishing out her phone and calling Dante. She didn't want to get involved in a possible territory/leadership brawl, with the opposing side taunting and tempting them to play, but after the latest attack, there was a trend starting to appear and it seemed too suspicious to be so simple anymore, it seemed wrong. She had to confirm her suspicions.

"Ciao. Sorry to bother you now Dante, its past midnight over there isn't it?"

"No worries boss. I still had things to do."

"Don't overwork, you idiot. Anyway, I need you to check something for me. Get me a list of anyone in the Famiglia who knows of Decimo's existence in Japan and has gotten rankings from Fuuta recently..."

"Okay..."

"Oh and one more thing…" she paused, pondering if her hunch was worth looking into. "...see if the Vindice still have convict Rokudo Mukuro in custody."

====Bow Wow Woof Bark====

Tsuna had woken up a little disoriented that morning, and he didn't know if it was the attacks or Reborn that was to blame. Probably both. To make things worse, Mama had pushed flyers that promoted self defence classes onto the brunette in hopes he'd take one up. Dumping the papers in a trash can, he let out a sigh.

"Ugh… all these attacks are giving me a bad feeling." Tsuna shivered involuntarily.

"Maybe you should learn boxing from Ryohei." Reborn offhandedly suggested from atop Tsuna's head.

"W-what?! No way! His enthusiasm will kill me before anything else!" Tsuna spluttered, earning him a not-so-light bop on the head from his tutor. "OW!"

"You say that about everything. Stop being such a baby."

"That's rich, coming from you!"

"Shut up already. Look." Reborn dismissed the entire conversation, redirecting the brunette's attention to the prefects walking around in front of them, all looking very jittery and alert. "They're feeling jittery, considering there're so many attacks happening."

"What?! This feels like a gang fight…" Tsuna shivered.

"Nope." A familiar voice and presence from behind made Tsuna turn around, bringing him face to face with Hibari and Rie.

"H-h-hibari-san! and Rie-san too!"

"This is more than that. I've my suspicions, but I can't say for sure until I hear from Dante. Plus, Takeshi-kun and I were shadowed this morning." Rie spoke with a certain seriousness to her voice, giving Reborn himself a bad feeling.

"Did you see who it was?" Reborn jumped from Tsuna's head to the wall ledge beside the two prefects.

Rie shook her head. "I tried, but he was very good at finding blind spots and losing him on its own was already tricky. If it were just me, I'd have been able to take him, but having to protect Takeshi-kun as well… the odds wouldn't have been in my favour.

"So it was a 'him' huh?" Reborn noticed the use of masculine terms.

"That was all I got. The hair and body structure gave it away. I think I saw blonde too, but I can't say for sure."

"This is nothing but a mischief without meaning." Hibari suddenly spoke menacingly, and it took Tsuna everything he had to not scream at the top of his lungs.

"What?" Rie blankly replied, rather taken aback at Hibari's sudden outburst. "Woah. Hang on Kyo-kun. I told you just now something bigger is going on didn't I?!"

"I don't care. I'll bite them to death." He glared at her.

"Kyoya…" Rie stared hard at him in return, neither willing to back down.

"U-um… in that case I'll be leaving first…" Tsuna tried slipping away from the strangling atmosphere between the two, when the ringing of their school anthem was heard from Hibari's phone caught his attention.

"What?" Hibari answered the phone gruffly as Rie sighed in resignation, looking distressed as she leaned against the wall.

'Hibari-san uses the school anthem as his ringtone? Wait! This isn't important! I need to get away!' Tsuna was about to walk off when Hibari called him back.

"Herbivore."

"EEK! Y-yes?"

"Sasagawa Ryohei is an acquaintance of yours isn't he?" Three ears prickled up at that. "He was just attacked."

=Bow Wow Woof Bark=

"Onii-san!" Tsuna and Reborn burst into Ryohei's room to be met with the boxer bandaged from head to toe.

"Oh, Sawada! You're really quick to arrive eh? Heh. I look pathetic."

"That's besides the point here!" Tsuna freaked.

"How are your injuries, Ryohei?" Reborn asked with a calm demeanour.

"Broken bones, cracked ribs, oh I lost 5 of my teeth too!" Ryohei said with such energy that one wouldn't even think he was injured. "That being said, I've broken more bones and teeth in boxing than this!"

"This isn't a laughing matter, onii-san!"

"But I really respect the guy, coming up to me and asking for a fight… I want that kind of fire in my boxing club!"

'How can he still be thinking of boxing at a time like this?!' Tsuna gaped, disbelief written clearly on his face.

"So you saw the attacker?" Reborn pressed, face showing hints of suspicion.

But before anyone could say anything else, Kyoko threw the door open and flew to her brother's side. Nothing more could be said, and Tsuna left the room with Reborn after that, only to be met with countless Nami-chuu students in the hospital corridors each sporting a worried or scared face.

"Why is everyone here?!"

"They're in disarray." Rie suddenly popped up from the next corridor, startling the brunette.

"R-Rie-san?! Wait, where have you been?!"

"Ugh don't remind me. I've been trying to keep our resident demon prefect from making things worse by beating the ringleader, whoever it is, to a pulp. But he got away, and now I can't find the sonofabitch! In fact, I don't even know how he got hold of the guy's location!"

"So… Hibari went to subdue the culprit…? WE'RE SAVED!" Tsuna whooped in joy, only to get kicked by Reborn.

"Hibari isn't invincible. He may be stronger than most of you but what he lacks is experience. He'll get killed, charging in recklessly like that." Reborn lectured the whining boss-to-be.

"Exactly. I even saw Mochida Kensuke getting wheeled in just now. Meaning the prefects were never their main target."

Just then, Kusakabe and a few other prefects walked in.

"Kusakabe-kun! Any sign of Kyo-kun yet?" Rie greeted him, trying to seem cheery.

"Afraid not, Mikazuki-san. But with the head on the trail, the enemies will be annihilated soon enough!" He replied with a confident tone of voice and walked off, not noticing the look of disagreement on Rie's face.

Her phone rang.

Leon's tail broke off.

She picked up her phone.

Kusakabe stepped out of the hospital.

She listened silently to Dante on the other line.

Everything moved in slow motion as her face turned grave, hanging up the call.

"Just gotten word from Dante... We're in deep shit this time."

Somewhere in Kokuyo Land…

Hibari was wiping out every enemy in his path, until he came upon the boss, sitting at the top of the building.

"I'll bite you to death." He said.

A bone chilling smile crept onto his to-be assailant's face.

"I'd like to see you try."
