and to the person who sent me the 100th review, HannahH! Yes, you got it right. I got the name Erin from Emily Deschanel's second name. I love her, and I thought "Erin" was a nice name, so was the person who I named it from. :-)

"You must be, Ziva!" She greets her happily, Ziva turns her head around and saw a woman with brown her and dazzling blue eyes. Just by the sight of her, she knew it was her. This was Tony's girlfriend, the hair on her arms stood on end, and her heart beating fast as well.

She let go from Tony's warmth and shakes her hand, smiling, trying to erase the awkwardness, and her heart aching that she was really meeting the love of his life. "And you must be, Erin!"

Erin shakes her hand tightly in returned, and smiled. Inside her head, she thinks that this Ziva that Tony's been talking about all this time they were seeing each other was beyond beautiful, she was everything any guy will want for, and she carries a different aura that she could almost feel Tony having butterflies in his stomach, and based from the way Tony and Ziva greeted each other, it made it looked like they were carrying a past, no one bothered to talk about, she knew they were more than friends before, but right now, their friendship was undefined. And she didn't know which is which.

"Tony told me many things about you"

"Oh he did? I did not know any of that." Ziva tells her, eyeing on Tony who was now staring nervously between the two of them. Tony tried his best to keep his eyes off the look Ziva was giving to him, he turned his back around and pulled Ducky, McGee and Palmer towards their table.

"Why don't we share the table? Sit with us, please." Tony begged Ducky who was now looking at McGee and Palmer, thinking if being together in one table is a bright idea. Ducky knows the way Ziva was feeling, and he could pretty much tell base from her body language that she would want to be anywhere but here.

Just before Ducky was about to turn down his offer, he felt Erin's hand slowly brushing on his shoulder. "Yes, please guys. It's been awhile since we last all saw each other." Erin convinced him, and how could he even say no to that? What could possibly go wrong anyway?

Ziva felt her shoulders tensed after hearing Erin's words to Ducky. It turns out that she was able to meet the rest of the team way before she even got here. They seemed so acquainted. She thought, she places a mask on her face, pretending that these words didn't affect her at all, even if deep inside, she feels her heart was slowly tearing to pieces to the simple fact that Tony introduced his girlfriend to the second closest thing he has as a family. Her family as well. It was a rare thing for Tony to be bringing up his personal life to them, and if he does, it's a sign that Tony was sure that this girl she was introducing to them was the one.

She closes her eyes, and pushes these thoughts away. Ducky must have noticed, but he doesn't show emotion. "My dear, we have no plans of disturbing you and Anthony on this lovely afternoon. I think it would be better if we give you two the time to be together—"

Erin goes near the three of them and clasps both of her hands and gave him the puppy eyes. "C'mon, Ducky please? Plus, I need some catching up to do with my new friend right here. Right, Ziva?"

Erin looked back at her to see Ziva taking a glance on Tony who was now busy admiring her face like it was porcelain. He was in awe to see a different Ziva standing before him, both were practically busy staring at each other for a long time now that she got lost the minute Erin called for her name.

"Ziva?" Erin calls for her attention one last time and Ziva jolts back to reality.

"Yes?"

"I was hoping you and McGee, Ducky and Palmer can sit with us here." She smiled. Ziva wanted to turn the offer down, being in a table with Tony and Erin wasn't exactly the way she planned spending the afternoon. Things will be too uncomfortable for them, and Tony knows it. But how could she say no when Erin was all being nice to her and welcoming, she knew she has to give it a try. There was nothing wrong meeting new friends anyway.

"Yes sure, if the three of these men wouldn't mind." Ziva said, looking at the three of them.

"Absolutely not." Palmer replies taking a seat together with Ducky and McGee.

Tony waves a sigh of relief. He knew this day would come that two people he admire deeply will meet up with each other, as much as he wants to avoid them meeting up with each other he knew there was nothing he can do. And he remembered making a promise to Erin that he will introduce her to Ziva. He gives in and pulled a chair from behind, offering it to Ziva. He takes his own seat, and silently prayed that Erin will ask the right questions.

"I've been waiting for this day to come that we'll meet up! You look beautiful just like what Tony said everytime he would tell me stories about you two." Erin happily said, looking at Tony who was now busy tapping the table nervously, what a great way to start the conversation, Erin.

Ziva's body froze as she found out that Tony described her beautiful when she never even heard him say that to her personally during those days she was still working in NCIS. Her cheeks flushed and so as Tony. She kicked his leg underneath the table, eyeing on him again as if he committed a crime.

Ow! He yelped, he closes his mouth trying not to make a commotion about it. He looks back at Ziva and she smiles acting as if she never kicked his leg from the table.

"Really? Wow, because Tony never told me that." She laughs as McGee and Palmer exchanged looks from each other, trying to wipe their smirks on their faces.

"I don't need to tell you how beautiful you are, because you know that you really are... beautiful ever since." Tony tells her honestly, and maybe he got a little far because Ducky was now grinning widely, so is McGee and Ducky. And Ziva's eyes widened, hearing him with his compliments makes her heart skip a beat but she stays calm as if it was only a normal thing, but it was the exact opposite, she swears.

"Okay, then." And that was all Ziva managed to say, he left her speechless.

"So how long were you guys together again?" Erin asks again, and Tony felt like his stomach was about to flip, it was a wrong term but there was nothing he can do to correct her. It already has been said.

"No, we're not a couple." Ziva denies, Were we?

"Oh you know these guys, they'll never reach that ever famous 'friend zone'" Palmer laughs, there he was again with his jokes but as usual it was never been funny, a surge of guilt was felt by Tony.

She cares too much about our friendship, that's why.

McGee places a hand on his forehead and kicked Palmer's leg for him to stop. "What Palmer meant was they can never break one of Gibbs' rules."

Tony gave McGee an I'm-going-to-kill-you look as Erin has her eyebrows creased. "Oh yeah? Which rule?" She asks.

"It's never date a co-worker, rule #12 to be exact." Ducky explains. Ziva looks at Ducky, Seriously? Of all the rules Gibbs gave his team, Rule 12 was her least favourite, and the one rule she has been dying to break. She never wanted anyone to be bringing up Rule 12, since it actually summarizes her so called friendship with Tony in a nutshell.

"So, if such rule never existed... will you guys be together?" Once again, Erin's questions felt like a bomb was being thrown in the restaurant. Ziva stares on the floor, she was a hundred percent sure that they can be together, not even caring about the rules being thrown at them. It wasn't just Gibbs rule that could explain why they're not together, although she's still unsure until now what exactly could that be. Tony on the other hand, asks Erin's question to himself. Was it really because of Rule 12? Because I am in hell sure breaking the rules for this woman was worth it. He wanted to explain to Erin further that it wasn't just about that rule when Ziva interrupted his thoughts.

"Never." Ziva tells Erin and manages a fake laugh. Tony's heart shattered, knowing that she didn't feel the same way, and so he pretends that he agrees with Ziva.

"Me? And Ziva as a couple? No, thank you. I respect my ninja here as a special friend of mine." Tony says and Ziva doesn't say a word. He waited for another kick on his leg to come but nothing came, she was there sitting beside them silently and there he was, talking about them and their friendship. God, she hates that term. If only she didn't mention their status together before as friendship then she wouldn't feel bad just by hearing Tony talking about it.

"So are you guys planning to order anything or not? I'm hungy." She changes the topic and calls for the waiter's attention to bring out the menu. The three men who have been sitting silently beside Ziva were now looking at him, disturbed not just to her but to Tony as well. They've known Tony and Ziva longer than anyone, they've known what both been through, and they know for sure that they were never more than friends. And yet it was a shame that no one between the two of them bothered to speak the truth. McGee couldn't blame them; bringing this up to Erin will totally be unfair for her. And so he too remains quiet, as he takes a peek on which food he can order.

Together, they talked more about a whole new different things and clearly the awkwardness in the room faded quickly as they all listen to Ziva's time in Israel. It was not only Ziva who shared her side of the story, soon, all of them even Palmer talked about him and Breena's plan on adoption was shared as well.

Ziva liked Erin in an instance, and she's glad that she made the right decision to stay with them here. She was able to have the chance to get to know her even more, Ziva found out a lot of things about her that really proved the reason why Tony liked this woman the first place. Without any doubt, she was flawless and intelligent and she's a fun person. She knows how to get along very well. They stayed another hour for coffee and dessert, all laughed and everyone seemed to have a great time. Tony has his eyes glued to Ziva for some time, and there was nothing even better to the joy he has when she's talking. Tony's relieved that Erin was there to keep the conversation always alive, and he's happy that she wasn't the "shy type" in the group, she has her ways, and that's something he admired about her. Now, looking back at Erin and Ziva, it felt like they've known each other longer than they even met Tony, they seemed like they were the best of friends, having a fun time picking on Tony. They were way comfortable together, than the very first minute they met each other. It was a good start. He thought.

Another hour has passed, and McGee, Ducky and Palmer have to go. Delilah called for movies so McGee have to bail out, as of Ducky and Palmer, they headed out to the new museum just a half an hour drive from this restaurant, and now they're down to Ziva, Tony and Erin.

In the middle of their fun conversation, Erin heard her phone ringing inside her bag. She groaned, and thought who could possibly be interrupting their time and answers her phone call. Just as soon as she answered it, she exchanged looks with Tony and Ziva gesturing that she too, needs to go. After a few more minutes, she hangs up and returns the phone to her bag.

"Who was that?" Tony asked

"You remember my neighbour, Michaela, I'm telling you about?"

"Yep" He replies

"Well she called, and apparently I forgot that we planned a girl's night to our friend who's leaving next week... I have to go, guys."

She stands up as she embraces Ziva. "Hey, we need to talk more soon, okay?"

Ziva nodded. "Thank you, I really had fun Erin." She smiled

"The pleasure is all mine, Ziva. As for you Agent DiNozzo, you stay here with Ziva okay?"

Tony wraps his arm around her waist, and Ziva shuts her eyes a bit, trying her best to be used to this whole thing of Tony being in a closed proximity with someone else. She opens her eyes and suddenly it wasn't painful anymore, compared to the first time she heard Tony found Erin, at least now she knows that he was in good hands.

"That will never be a problem when it comes to her."

"That's good to know." Erin smiled as she leans in and placed a lingering kiss on his cheek.

"I'll talk to you later, okay?"

She grabs her bag and coat, "I would rather talk to Ziva" She laughs and waves goodbye to the both of them. Ziva watches as Erin heads her way out of the restaurant, she looks back and find Tony smiling.

"Guess it's down to you and me, sweet cheeks."

Author's Note:

I'm ending this chapter less painful than the previous one because I know you've been dying to see these two characters together with Tony. It turns out it's not that awkward anymore, which is actually a good thing *wink

Apologies, if the chapter was a bit short. I got a lot of things in lined for school even on a weekend, so I barely have time to write. I'll be back by next week for more. Please review before heading out! Let me know what you think. :-)

And who could be interrupting Tony and Ziva in the next chapter? Find out next week. ;)
