Chapter 11

He's Gone

Unknown to the three lovers, many eyes are watching them as they fall into the peaceful world of dreams, with Yugi being held securely and protected in Yami and Atem's arms with their foreheads touching. Teana is no beyond furious, she's actually starting to go crook almost at the point of livid, Panic had found the scene sickening pathetic that two Yami vampires would fall for a mere mortal, and Dartz simply smirked. He had plans that will soon be set in motion. "Panic, be prepared to snatch that boy from their grasp and bring him to me." Dartz said as he stared at the dancing flames in the fireplace after dismissing the spell.

Bowing to his master by kneeling on one knee, Panic lowered his head with a fist to his chest. "Of course, Master Dartz." And he used his own powers to warp from the room to prepare himself to steal Yugi away from Yami and Atem.

Noticing Teana just not standing still where she stood by her master's side, Dartz place a firm hold on her hand and said in a firm tone, "Once Yugi is mine, you can finally claim the vampires you desire."

Her hands then became fists. "I'll do anything to make Yami and Atem mine and mine alone."

And so, around one o'clock in the morning, Panic appears outside the manor with a wicked grin forming on his lips as he slowly went inside and scan each room to find his target. It wasn't long belong before he came across the room the three lovers were in to find them still asleep with Yami on his back and his arms wrap around his little lover, Yugi snuggled against his side with one hand on the first vampire's chest, and Atem on the top with his arms linked around Yugi as well.

Considering the position they were in, Panic grinned at the fact that getting Yugi out of their arms will be a challenge but he had an idea. With one hand, Panic slowly remove the boy from between the two Yami vampires and carry him in his arms. There is one flaw with the seal; once the vampire and their lover lower their guard, the seal's power will weaken enough for other vampires to be able to touch the one vampire's lover.

"By the time you learn where your little lover is, it'll be too late to save him." said Panic as he turned to leave. But unknown to the kidnapper, a certain pink cat with purple eyes and a matching ribbon had been watching him closely from her hiding spot with Amber right behind her, seeing what Panic has done.

Amethyst had felt something bad is going on when she sensed the intruder's presence. First the cat had gone to look for Amber who was in the parlor reading a letter. As soon as Amber saw Amethyst approach her, she could sense something was wrong with how her purple eyes look up at her. With the cat gesturing her to follow, Amber did so and place the letter in a safe place to give to her masters later.

Once they were in hiding, Amethyst and Amber looked into the room where they know the Yami vampires and Yugi were to see the intruder easily remove the small teen from the protective arms of the vampires he had fallen in love with and leaves a message for them as he carry Yugi out.

Not going to allow him to get too far with her friend, Amber chases after him as she transforms into her werewolf form while Amethyst enters the room to wake up the two vampires and tell them what has happened. Perched just above their heads, Amethyst sends them a message from her mind to theirs, saying "Wake up!"

Jerked awake by the loud wake up call, Yami faces Amethyst and says through his mind as he gently stroke the cat, "What's wrong, Amethyst?"

"My master has been kidnapped by one of your kind."

"What!?" This had Yami completely by surprise that someone had managed to sneak in and kidnap Yugi so easily.

"Yami, what's going on?" Atem said as he started to get worried since Yugi is no longer in the room with them.

"An intruder snuck into the manor and kidnapped Yugi!"

To hear that their little lover was taken away easily, Atem became just as surprised when he suddenly felt something else is wrong. "Where's Amber?"

"She went to confront the intruder and stop him from going too far with him."

Getting a terrible feeling, Yami and Atem run out of the room with Amethyst right behind them. Making their way outside, the Yami vampires are in shock to see Amber collapsed on the ground, badly bruised from a fight she had with the intruder. Kneeling by her side with Amethyst sitting a few spaces from them, glancing up at the starry night sky with tears forming in her eyes, Yami asked as Atem laid her in his lap, "What happened, Amber?"

"I went to confront the intruder just as he was leaving the manor with Yugi. He was just placing a sleep spell over him by the time I had caught up. After I had challenged him, I only managed to scratch him a couple times and with only one hand since he was holding Yugi, he send shadows at me and they clouded my vision as they attacked me to no end.

"By the time they vanished, the intruder was gone, with Yugi." Then tears formed in her eyes. "I couldn't stop him. I just couldn't help Yugi!"

Holding her close, Atem said as he comfort the hurt werewolf, "It's alright Amber, you did what you could." Lifting her into his arms, Atem was about to carry her inside when he noticed Yami looking around, as if looking for something. "Yami, what are you doing?"

"I'm looking to see if there's any traces of the shadows the intruder used to attack Amber. Take care of her while I look."

"Okay." With Atem heading inside and Yami looking around for traces of those shadows, both vampires had the same thought in their minds; "I can't believe they were able to get around us and take him. Yugi, please be safe!"
