A/N: Here is ch.11! This chapter jumps into September. A month and a half left to the battle and Jade is about 14 weeks pregnant. Just thought I'd catch up on the timelines in case it was confusing lol.

Jade's POV.
"You look gorgeous." Seth kissed my neck from behind as I looked at my forming baby bump.
"Do you really have to go to Alaska?" I asked and he chuckled.
"It's just so Carlisle can show the Denali's we're not the vicious monsters they believe us to be and we can maybe get the rest of them on our side."
"Don't you have Garret and that Taser chick?"
"Kate?" He said. "Yeah but we need more help, we've gotten four more vampires and three more wolves but Alice is seeing them recruiting left and right we need at least eight more people."
"How many wolves are there now?"
"Eleven plus two or three we got out eyes on." I said. We need a few more wolves though and a few more vamps."
"Ok I guess you can go." I pouted and he chuckled.
"I'll be back tomorrow baby." He kissed me, kissed my belly and then kissed Lizzi before leaving. I sat on the bed for a few minutes until my stomach rumbled.
"Taquitos!" I announced and went down stairs.

Seth's POV.

We walked up to a house in the remote wilderness of northern Alaska, the snow letting under the feel of us wolves. A group of gold eyed vampires was standing in front of the house. A black haired man stepped forward.
"Carlisle." He nodded.
"Eleazar." Carlisle nodded as well.
"Before you come any closer Irina would like to speak." A blonde woman stepped forward.
"Those furry friends of yours killed my mate, a man I loved more than anything and now you expect us to work alongside them. Why?" Carlisle looked to Jake who went behind Quil and phased. He came back out in cut-off shorts.
"Laurent may have been a man in the process of changing, and yes it may have just been a slip up when he tried to kill Bella but the point is it's our duty, our responsibility to protect people from vampires and at that moment he was as much a killer as James and Victoria."
"But he was trying to change."
"I understand." Jake said in an apologetic voice. "It was just wrong place wrong time, I'm really sorry." Irina paused.
"I'll help." She said. "But only because it's what Laurent would do if he was still here."
"We will help as well." Eleazar said and the rest nodded behind him.
"Thank you all." Carlisle smiled.
"We will be there tomorrow after making arrangements at our jobs and schools." Eleazar said and Carlisle nodded. After that we headed home.

About 3 hours later I walked into Lizzi's house and she was at the kitchen table crying. I ran over to her.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Andrew, he showed up and started screaming saying where is Lizzi."
"What?" I asked. "Where is he now?"
"Grandpa made him leave but he's gonna come back."
"Why'd he show up?"
"I don't know."
"I do." Gerald said from the living room, he came in the kitchen. "Andrew's realized that Lizzi can be an asset to him, single dad, gets the girls and his parents have more than enough money for him to not have to pay anything or care for her at all, just walk around town with her and get laid."
"That's horrible!" I exclaimed.
"Yeah but he's like that, anything to get a girl." Jade said. I hugged her.
"I won't let him take her." an idea popped into my head. "Gerald sign the papers."
"What papers?"
"Let Jade marry me and I'll legally adopt Lizzi, today."
"What Seth." Jade stared at me.
"We're having a kid, you're my soul mate anyway why not?"
"I'll do it." Gerald shrugged. "It'd work."
"What do you say?" I asked Jade.
"Of course it's yes Seth but how are we gonna pay?" The door flew open and up popped Alice.
"We'll pay I can have it set up by tomorrow." She ran out the door.
"There you go." I chuckled and we headed to the courthouse.

The next morning I stood in Edwards bedroom looking down at the back yard which was beautifully decorated with green and silver velvet.
"How you doing man?" Jake asked and I smiled.
"Best spur of the moment decision I ever made." He clapped my back and smiled.
"Congrats man." Emmett and Jasper walked in wearing silver velvet suits.
"How much did those cost?" I asked.
"Two point three million apiece." Emmett said.
"Holy fuck!" I exclaimed.
"Chump change for a family who's made over five hundred grand a year for over a hundred years." Jasper explained.
"I guess." I shrugged.
"Showtime guys." Edward walked in clapping his hands.

I stood at the alter with Carlisle next to me as our preacher and Jake on my other side as my best man. The music began and out walked Jade in the most gorgeous dressed I'd ever seen. It was white with a lacey bottom and a silk bodice. I almost fainted at her beauty. When she arrived I took her hands and kissed her. Carlisle pushed a part.
"Not time for that yet." He smiled and Jade blushed.
"Well hurry." I said and he chuckled.
"We are gathered here today to unite the physical forms that fate has already bonded via imprint."
"Yeah that shit." Emmett piped up and we all chuckled.
"Anyone who has any suggestions as to why these two should not bond… is what I would ask if I thought anybody had objections but seeing as we don't Seth do you.." I cut him off.
"Hell yeah." I said and Jade smiled.
"Jade do you."
"What he said." She smiled eve wider and Carlisle smiled as well.
"Husband and wife and all that legal mumbo jumbo, now we're at that part." I kissed Jade and the crowd erupted, as soon as the wedding ended I took her home to legally consummate the marriage and then we headed to the social services office with Lizzi.
"Yes my husband would like to legally adopt my daughter." Jade said once we got to the window."
"I'm gonna need a proof of marriage and birth certificates from all three of you." We handed them to her."
"Seventeen, fifteen and four months, young family." She entered our info in. "Ok I.D.s." We handed them to her.
"Alright, pay the deposit, sign these paper's and you're good to go." I handed her 200 dollars and we both signed the papers."
"OK as of eight in the morning Elizabeth Nicole Harper will be Elizabeth Nicole Clearwater, have a nice day." After that we left and went home. We lay in bed just smiling.
"My husband." She smiled against my chest.
"My wife." I smiled and kissed her head. "My babies." I kissed Lizzi's cheek and rubbed Jade's belly we laid there in pure bliss until we fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up at 4:32 and went downstairs for a drink. I sat at the table with Gerald.
"Why you up?" I asked.
"Me and Jade's grandma used to watch the sunrise every morning, for thirty seven years."
"Sounds nice."
"It was, she named Jade you know?"
"Really?"
"Yeah, I joined the Army after high school and we got married and my first base was in China, she saw a jade stone for the first time on a hike through the mountains and it was the most beautiful thing in the world."
"That's amazing."
"Everything she did was amazing, like her." He said, his eyes growing tearful. "She'd have loved you Seth, you're the best guy Jade could ever hope for, even without the imprint."
"Thanks Gerald."
"No problem." He smiled. We sat quietly and watched the sunrise and then I decided to cook everyone breakfast. Jade got up at about 9 and came down, I already had Lizzi in her chair with a bottle and had eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage and omelets fixed.
"It looks awesome babe."
"Only the best for my wife." I smiled. "You and Lizzi wanna go to the beach later?" I asked.

"It's October."
"Oh yeah, sorry I'm a hundred and eight degrees so I swim all year long, what about walk around town?" She bit some bacon.
"Sounds good." She nodded. We ate and decided to get ready to go. As I was washing the dishes I heard a knock on the door. Jade answered it and I heard yelling.
"Where the fuck is she?" A voice asked. A kid about sixteen burst in. He looked at me. "Who the fuck is this fucker?"
"I'm Seth, her husband and Lizzi's dad."
"Listen here you fuck that's my daughter!"
"Afraid not." I shrugged.
"You went on and got married huh?" He yelled.
"Lower your voice boy."
"Don't call me boy bitch." He got in my face. "I'll beat your ass and show you boy." I began shaking. "Scared."
"Andrew back up!" Jade warned.
"Shut up slut!" He yelled and I snapped. I grabbed him by his neck and threw him across the kitchen over the table. He got up and ran at me. I caught him and threw him into the living room. I went in the living room and drug him outside by his shirt. I threw him on the back yard and he grabbed a stick he held it up and I smiled, then he turned to the house and threw it at Jade, barely missing her stomach it went through a window and everything blurred.
"Andrew run!" Jade yelled.
"SHUT UP!" he yelled and turned to me in time to see it happen, I phased and he dropped his jaw.
"I'm GONNA RIP YOUR HEART OUT!" I I screamed in my head but it came out as a roar.
"Seth no!" Sam yelled and he, Jake and Paul headed my way while Quil phased out to get the rest, a minute later 6 more wolves; Jake, Sam, Paul, Quil, Jared and Embry came into the yard and Andrew's frozen state just looked around, shaking in his boots.
"Seth calm down!' Jake yelled.
"NO! He threw a stick at her!" Sam phased and walked up to Andrew who flinched.
"Leave and never ever show your face again, and if anybody comes investigating for us I will personally make you into dog chow." Andrew nodded and took off. I eventually phased back and went up to Jade.
"You ok?" I kissed her and felt her stomach, she cried against my chest.
"Thank you for protecting us."
"Always." I kissed her head. At that moment a painful howl ripped the air. And the wolves still phased shot off I looked at Jade who nodded.
"I got grandpa's gun and he's back he came in as you drug Andrew outside." I nodded and shot off.

"No!" was the first thing I heard and my mind flashed to Collin who was looking down at Brady, his mouth gushing blood. "Brady!" I came up on the clearing where they were. Sam and Jake were working on him along with Carlisle. They tried for a few minutes until we heard his heart stop and his eyes go blank. We were all crying and felt a little of ourselves die alongside with Brady. Sam looked at us and said in his most powerful Alpha voice ever.
"Find them, kill them!" We all nodded. We searched for hours but they were gone.

3 days later Jake, Paul, Embry, Jared, Quil and Colin carried Brady's casket to the grave and set it over the hole. We all shed some tears while it was lowered into the ground but most of our sorrow was shed as wolves, our sad howls that ripped the air the past 2 nights showed that clearly. We all hugged Brady's mom. She stood up and looked at us, the tears cascading.
"Kill them all." She said and we nodded. Shit just got really personal.
