Chapter 11-Pinkie Pie
Me: Alright, Pinkie's up this time.
Itachi: Tid doesn't own the rights to Naruto Shippuden or My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Me: Alright, let's get started.

It was around ten o' clock in the morning when I arrived outside of Sugarcube Corners. The sweet scent of baked goods wafted through the air. Just the smell of them was enough to make your mouth water. I inhaled deeply as I reached for the door handle, taking in as much of the scent as I could. I opened the door and the bell just above it rang, signaling a customer. I walked inside and let the door close behind me, taking in the bakery in greater detail than I had before. I was currently standing on a rug that seemed to be a strange mixture of green and yellow. The floor itself was made of wood that appeared cyan in color. From what I could see there were at least two more rugs on the floor; one in front of the counter and another, much larger one, to my right. The one in front of the counter was a darker shade of green while the one to my right was just a few shades lighter than the leaves that covered the trees. A large vase with multi-colored flowers stood in the corner next to a staircase that led upstairs. The pillars that could be seen in the room where decorated with red and white stripes, giving a similar appearance to that of a candy cane.
"Hello there. Is there anything I can help you with?" The mare standing behind the counter asked. She was a light blue in color and had a mane that contained two different shades of pink swirled around one another. Her Cutie Mark resembled three cupcakes with pink frosting. The stallion standing to her right was yellow in color, comparable to that of a lemon. He had a mane as orange as a carrot and a Cutie Mark that resembled three bars of carrot cake.
"Yes, actually; I'm looking for Pinkie Pie, have you seen her?" I asked.
"We sure have. She's upstairs right now. Would you like me to call her down for you?" The stallion replied.
"That won't be necessary. Thank you." I turned and began my way up the stairs but got no further than the third stair before a blur of pink tackled me to the ground. As I fell I hit the back of my head on the ground, the rest of my body hitting the ground just as hard. I winced as we landed.
"What's going on here?" I asked rubbing the back of my head. Pinkie Pie stood over me, looking down on me intently.
"Pinkie Pie, that is no way to behave! Let him up at once!" The mare said scolding her.
"Oh, right, sorry Mrs. Cake." Pinkie Pie said turning her attention to the mare, her ears drooping slightly as she realized her mistake. She took a few steps back and allowed me to stand. I brushed my cloak off and turned to her.
"Pinkie Pie are you going to tackle me every time I come to see you?" I asked. She shook her head, but I had a little trouble believing her.
"I'm terribly sorry sir; she doesn't normally behave this way." Mrs. Cake said.
"Oh it's quite alright, I can handle it." I said. Mrs. Cake breathed a sigh of relief.
"So, what'd you come here for? Huh? Huh? Huh?" Pinkie Pie asked. I opened my mouth to reply but before I could she made a loud gasp.
"Let me guess, you're here because you want to party! Am I right?" She asked.
"Er, not quite. Actually, I was hoping we could spend the day together. I'd like to get to know you and the other ponies." I replied.
"Of course we can spend the day together! Why didn't you say so sooner? Oh we're going to have so much fun together!" She said.
"Going out today, Pinkie?" Mrs. Cake asked.
"Yup!" Pinkie Pie replied.
"Alright then. See you later," Mrs. Cake said. With that Pinkie Pie and I turned and walked out of the bakery.
We began to walk through the town, Pinkie Pie bouncing excitedly around me as we walked.
"So, what do you want to do first? Oh I'm so excited!" She asked joyfully.
"Well, I'm not going to choose what we do today. I was going to leave that up to you." I replied. She stopped bouncing to look at me.
"Really? You're going to let me choose what we do today?" She asked. I nodded, not breaking stride. She began to shake more and more violently, so much so I thought she was going to literally burst with excitement. She leapt cartoonishly in the air, releasing all of her energy in one excited shout.
"In that case we're going to have so much fun! Quickly, let's go!" She said grabbing my hand and pulling me in a direction that seemed random to me.
After a few minutes of running we came to a part of town I hadn't yet been to. She slowed down (allowing me to slow down as well) when she had finally run out of breath. She let go of my hand and stood there, panting as I watched her. She certainly had a lot of energy; that much I could say for certain. When she had finally caught her breath she looked at me again.
"Wasn't that exciting?" She asked.
"Are you saying that was what you had in mind?" I asked in disbelief. She giggled.
"Oh no, silly; but we are much closer to where the fun begins! Come on, it's just a little bit further." I sighed and followed her deeper into the neighborhood.
The buildings alongside either side of the street were no different than the other's that stood along the streets in the rest of the town. Each building housed a happy pony or family, all of which seemed eager to wave to us as we passed by. Pinkie Pie waved and eagerly said hello to each and every one of them, calling them by name.
"You're certainly popular in this town, aren't you?" I asked her as we walked.
"Hm? Oh, yeah. I know everypony in this town!" She said smiling.
"How on earth did you manage that?" I asked bewildered.
"Oh that's easy. If there's anypony I don't already know, I spend the whole day with them and get to know them!" She replied. What a coincidence. I thought in amusement. It seemed this day was bound to happen eventually.
Eventually we arrived at a building that stood out from the rest. It was a strange mixture of yellow and pink that almost reminded me of Fluttershy. The building stood two stories tall and had exactly four windows on the side facing the street. There was a short walk way leading up to a porch that matched the house perfectly.
"We're here!" She said gesturing to it with her hoof as if she were presenting a masterpiece.
"Seems a bit eccentric, don't you think?" I asked. I had a mind for design and the building seemed a little distasteful in my eyes.
"Nope. I think it's perfect!" She replied, stunning me that she actually knew the definition of eccentric. Clearly I'm not giving this pony enough credit. I thought to myself as she walked up to the porch. She opened the door and I was surprised to find the inside was completely decorated.
Streamers and balloons decorated the walls and furniture, which where a simple emerald green color. A matching rug lies upon the wooden floor. The floor itself was yellow in color and finely polished, finished with a coating to protect it from damage. A table was set up next to a wooden staircase that led to the second floor. The table was covered with a white tablecloth that hung loosely at the ends. A bowl of punch and plates filled with various foods lined the table in an orderly manner, which surprised me. Finally, there was a lone stereo in the corner, from which a low humming could be heard as it waited for a song to play. Pinkie Pie hopped inside and I followed, closing the door behind me.
"So I suppose we are going to have a party?" I asked her looking around the room.
"That's right! It's the perfect way to spend the day! It's going to be so much fun! We're going to play games, eat cake, dance, oh I can hardly wait!" She said bouncing up and down in excitement.
"Yes, that does sound like fun. However, I can't help but notice we're the only ones here." I said. She stopped bouncing and looked at me as if I had just appeared out of thin air.
"You're right; we are the only ones here!" She said as if she had only now realized it.
"But that's okay; we don't need a lot of ponies here. We can still have fun with just the two of us!" She said smiling.
"Yes, I suppose you're right." I said. She rushed over to the stereo and pressed a button on top of it, and music began to fill the room.
It was a song that sounded remarkably familiar to a song I had heard in my world. Musical devices such as the one that now stood before me had long since been forgotten in my world, having thought to have been completely eradicated in the previous Great Ninja Wars. A small village had preserved a handful of these devices, and began to manufacture and distribute more throughout the land at the end of the Fourth Great Ninja War. I had purchased one such device as well as some music that had been stored underground for centuries. I had been so excited when I began listening to the music that I completely disregarded my training that day and sat at home listening to it.
Pinkie Pie waved her hoof in front of my face, bringing me back to reality.
"Hello? What are you doing?" She asked me in wonder.
"Oh, sorry; I was merely recalling a memory from my past." I replied.
"You can think about that stuff later. Right now it's time to party!" She said throwing confetti into the air.
"Er, right." I said. I tried my best to feign a good time (I never really was fond of parties), but she caught on almost immediately.
"What's wrong? Aren't you having a good time?" She asked.
"Well, not quite. You see, I was never what you'd call, a 'party animal'." I replied.
"Oh don't be silly! All you have to do is dance!" She said. I flinched. I was a horrid dancer, unsure of how other's managed to do it.
"I can't." I said.
"Of course you can!" She said smiling.
"No, I really can't. My dancing is absolutely awful." I said.
"Oh come on, it can't be that bad!" She said.
"Oh I assure you, it is." I said desperately trying to convince her.
"Well why don't you let me see it? I won't judge you!" She urged.
"Oh no I couldn't possibly do that." I quickly rejected.
"Oh come on, please? Won't you do it for a friend?" She asked me, her eyes gleaming with tears and her face in a pleading expression. I was hardly ever seduced by anything, but the look on her face made me abandon my pride for a few moments. I sighed.
"Alright, I'll do it." I said, already regretting my decision.
Pinkie Pie turned up the music and I stood nervously in the center of the room, her eyes watching me expectantly. After a few seconds I took a deep breath and began to dance. I don't dare describe it as it was truly a horrid sight to behold. Pinkie Pie (despite saying she was not going to judge) couldn't help but burst out in laughter. My face felt hot and I could tell I was going red, embarrassed by my performance.
"Yeah, you're really not going to judge." I murmured.
"Oh I'm just messing with you, silly! You're dancing isn't that bad." She said. I stared at her with a look that said 'you can't be serious'.
"Okay, it was bad." She said resigning to the truth. I sighed and sat down on the couch where I buried my face in my hands. She walked over to me and put her hoof on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry Tid. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." She said. I removed my hands from my face, placing them on my knees.
"It's quite alright Pinkie Pie. It wasn't your fault." I said. "That's good! Are you ready to get the party started again?" She asked. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Sure." I said with a smile.
She turned up the music louder than ever and we danced (me albeit horribly) until I looked out of the window to see the sun was setting.
"Oh, I gotta go Pinkie." I said.
"Already? The fun was just starting!" She said.
"Sorry, but I really have to go." I said,
"Would it be alright if I came with you? Who knows what could happen out there!" She said.
"Alright, if you want." I said. We walked out of the house and towards mine.
We walked along the road through the town, heading toward the side of town where my house resided.
"So Pinkie Pie," "
Call me Pinkie. All of my friends do." She interrupted.
"Right. Pinkie, you love partying don't you?" I asked her.
"Of course I do! Parties are so much fun!" She replied.
"How come you love to have fun so much? I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I just want to know where it's coming from." I said.
"I wasn't always like this. My life was pretty different before I came to Ponyville." She replied.
"Would you mind telling me about it?" I asked carefully. She nodded.
Pinkie told me about her past life before coming to Ponyville; and I have to say, it was depressing. When she had finished I had a new found respect for the pony.
"Wow, I had no idea." I said trying to break the tension.
"Yeah. Only my closest friends know this about me." She said.
I looked at her as we pony that now stood before me was a great deal different from the energetic party animal that I had seen just an hour previously. She walked with her head down and her ears drooped, her eyes filled with the sadness of recalling such a past. To be honest, I actually felt bad for her.
"I'm sorry Pinkie." I said placing my hand on her shoulder. She looked at me.
"Oh it's okay, that was a long time ago. My life is much better now!" She said happily. I nodded and we continued to walk along the moonlit path in silence.
When we finally reached the base of the hill, we stopped walking.
"Tid, can I ask you something?" She asked.
"Sure." I said.
"Do you have a crush on anyone?" She asked.
"Eh? Where did that come from?!" I asked. She laughed.
"I've been watching you recently. I've determined that you have a crush on someone, but I can't figure out who." She said.
"I don't have a crush on anyone." I said.
"Are you sure?" She asked.
"I'm quite certain," I replied.
"Really sure?" She asked.
"Really sure,"
"Super really sure?"
I was starting to grow tired of this conversation.
"Yes, I'm super really sure." I said.
"Pinkie Promise? Cross your heart and hope to die, stick a cupcake in your eye?" She asked crossing her chest then placing her hoof over one eye.
"Alright, I Pinkie Promise that I don't have a crush on anyone." I said. I then crossed my chest exactly like she had done and placed a hand over my left eye.
"Alright, I believe you." She said.
"What? Just like that?" I asked.
"Yeah, you can't break a Pinkie Promise." She said.
"Oh, alright." I said.
"Well, I'll see you later, Tid!" She said. She then began hopping away.
"She truly is a strange one." I said to myself.
