Hey guys, I'm glad you liked the last episode. I'm going to combine the 2 Wiztech episodes into 1 as I think that the actual episodes have been padded out and was a little unnecessary. Do tell me what you think of the story at the halfway point in your reviews. I do not own Wizards of Waverly Place or any of its characters.
Justin's POV
Summer 2007 has arrived and this signalled the arrival of another element: Wiztech. I have so many fond memories of this place, especially since this has been my place of employment in my time anyway.
Alex had seemed quite impressed when I told her that I had become the headmaster of Wiztech, she also laughed when I told her that I basically became the American version of Dumbledore.
"Okay kids, today we are going to learn about the W.I.P.S. which stands for The Wizard Instant Parcel Service. The Wizarding world's mail service is much more efficient as it uses inter-dimensional portals to deliver mail." Dad started to explain to us and I suddenly realized that it could be used as an alternative for flashing.
"That sounds so cool! How does it work and what are the limits to the spell?" Alex asked Dad who was really surprised that she was showing so much enthusiasm in learning.
Dad then begun explaining that a key is required to open a portal in reality, there is a safety precaution built into it which shuts the portal when the key is taken too far away from the portal or it is unused for 2 minutes.
"Yes! My Wiztech application had been approved, I am going to be there for the whole month of June." I said after I received my acceptance letter and I saw Alex had gotten a little sad hearing this.
"What is Wiztech like? I don't think I have heard anybody talked about it here." Max asked around before Dad and I explained to him how Wiztech is pretty much our version of Hogwarts from Harry Potter.
Max then asked if he could go to Wiztech but Dad told him that he needed to be accomplished in magic to be sent an acceptance letter. I just apologized to Max.
After Dad dismissed us from our lesson, Alex had gone up to her room without another word and this made me a little worried. I just excused myself and hurried on after her.
"Alex, are you feeling okay? You just stormed off like that, you don't have to cry." I said to Alex as I saw her trying to hold some tears back.
"I am not crying, you big nerd. It just makes me a little sad that you are going to be gone a whole month at Wiztech. What if Evilini manages to absorb your powers when I'm not there to look out for you?" Alex told me and said the last part with a smirk on her face.
I said to her that according to my letter, there is a little additional note saying that she was welcome to join me as it was more convenient to inform both of us in one fell swoop.
Alex then hugged me happily, I just hugged her back before kissing her. I told her that she has to remember about a few potential threats like Ronald Longscape Jr and of course Evilini as well, but she just shut me up by hugging me back.
"Justin, you got to remember to keep your sister out of trouble. Hope you guys will have a good time there. Do promise to write back to us." Mom told us as we were being dropped off at Wiztech.
"Justin, I would like you to have the portal key. You can write back to us much easier this way compared to sending a pigeon, do try and not wreck this place you two." Dad said to us before bidding us goodbye and leading Max and mom back to the loft.
The things that have happened in Wiztech were relatively similar to what had happened in my timeline, which is a little surprising since quite a few events have already been drastically different.
One of the bigger changes is that Alex tried harder in the classes, especially Charms and Transfiguration. I couldn't resist participating in the 12-ball tournament but this time I casted a shield spell on myself for protectionand taught Alex how to do so herself.
"Justin, you seem to be one of the best 12-ball players the school has seen in a few centuries. You know, they said that the best 12-ball tournament players also turn out to be the best wizards." Evilini told me, obviously trying to play so that she can absorb my powers.
"Thanks, Professor Evilini. That means a lot to me, so about the charm that you taught us today in class..." I asked her to see if she may let anything up.
Alex had also managed to gather a group of friends, more muggle oriented than some of the wizard fanatics. She also managed to befriend Hugh again and they got on well. She had also managed to eavesdrop on Evilini telling her messenger fish about her plans to absorb my wizard powers, which later revealed the message to a random girl cleaning the stairs as punishment to her utter confusion.
Beating Jerko Phoenix in the semi-final was laughably easy. According to the match's commentator, I had set a school record on the shortest time needed to win a match.
"Looks like you will be my final opponent. Nice to make your acquaintance, my name is Ronald Longscape Jr." Ronald had said to me after I won my match with Jerko, to say I was surprised would be an understatement.
"Uh, nice to meet you too, I'm Justin Russo. I hope that we will have an exciting final." I replied him as I shook his hand but I could only hide my shock.
I had gone to Professor Crumbs and had told him of my 'unique' situation, but he assured me that he will look for a solution to my problems. Like last time, I had won the tournament but Alex had casted the truth spell on Evilini before her unspoken magic could penetrate my magic shield.
"Justin, even though you had gone through this before but I still felt a little worried when you won. You looked like you were about to faint from exhaustion." Alex whispered to me as she enveloped me in a hug as mom was scolding Dad about only caring about the championship belt I won.
"Trust me, Alex it wasn't easy but thanks for helping out. It does bother me a little to how similar this was to the last time." I said as Mom and Dad began to lead us back to the Russo loft.
Yeah, sorry about the lack of originality here but I just couldn't think of anything to add or change from Wizard School. I hope you guys enjoyed it and until next time.
