AN: There will be a few twists and turns in this chapter

Graduation day! The day where she would officially graduate from William McKinley High School. Graduating would mean no more Glee Club- she was going to be out in the real world but at least she had Elijah and their unborn child.

Standing in the room where all the students was who was graduating, Quinn was at least glad she was graduating with all the members who was. Although she is going to miss the underclassman of the Glee Club.

As the graduation gets underway, Quinn just waits for her name to be called out and when she does, she walks out to the whole room clapping. Getting her diploma, she looks round to see if Elijah is there and smiles as her eyes set upon him before walking of the stage.

Arriving at home, Quinn stopped the engine of the car before looking at her phone. A number she didn't recognise was phoning her. Swallowing hardly, she picked it up and answered it,

"Hello" She said

"Is this Miss Fabray" a female voice asked.

"Yes it is." Quinn answered.

"It's just that we have to inform you that your daughter Beth has been in an accident" the woman said.

Hearing the following, Quinn was confused, "But Miss Corcoran adopted Beth. I'm just Beth's mum biologically"

"I'm afraid we can't find any adoption records for her but either way Miss Corcoran is dead" the woman said.

"Okay where is Beth?" Quinn asked realizing this was her second chance of becoming a mum to the child.

"She's in the Mystic Falls Hospital" the woman said.

"Okay I'll be there soon" She said as she put the phone down and got out of her car as she entered the house.

Shutting the door, Quinn quickly rushed upstairs, ignoring everyone who was in the house including Elijah.

"Quinn" Elijah shouted as he followed her upstairs to find her packing her bags. "Quinn, what's happening?" He asked.

Knowing she couldn't ignore the question, Quinn turned round, "I just need to go away for a bit and do something." She said now realising he needed to know the truth, "It's Beth, my daughter who I thought had been adopted but hasn't. The person who was looking after her has died and now I'm going to get Beth and hopefully bring her up" She said as she turned round to pack some more belongings on what she need.

Hearing what Quinn had just said, Elijah's eyebrows raised a bit, "I'll come with you. It'll be tough for you. Especially with being pregnant. I don't want any harm coming to you." Elijah whispered.

Zipping her bag up, Quinn turned round as she looked at him, "Nothing's going to happen. I'm going to stay out of danger but I just need to get my baby girl and if you want to do anything for me, just let me go and trust me. If I need you I'll let you know where I am" She said as she picked her bag up and made her way downstairs before leaving the house and getting into the car.

Picking her phone, she found Noah's name and quickly sent him a text message.

Had a phone call from a hospital in Mystic Falls, Shelby and Beth had an accident. I'm on my way Q!

Setting of Quinn seemed to be driving too fast to get to Beth. She needed to know whether her first born was okay. She needed to know. She needed to find out and see her for herself.

It had a while since Quinn had sent off and yet she had just arrived at Mystic Falls and immediately made her way to Klaus house. Pulling up, Quinn got out of the car and knocked on the door just hoping someone would answer. Allowing the door to open, she saw Klaus and made her way in, "Don't tell Elijah" She said simply, "It's only a flying visit. I just need somewhere to stay"

"Hi Quinn. Nice to see you but what's happened?" Klaus asked clearly wondering on why Quinn would be here and not wanting Elijah to know.

"Long story but to cut it down, I had a child a couple of years ago and I thought she had been adopted but she wasn't and now Shelby who was looking after her has died and my child is now in a hospital and it had been this towns hospital" Quinn explained.

"And Elijah doesn't know?" Klaus enquired.

"Yes, he knows about Beth being in hospital but doesn't know where and hopefully the dad will be down here" Quinn explained as she looked at her phone to see a reply from Noah.

Okay. Am on my way down there. Tell me everything when I see you but is Elijah with you?

Okay, see you there and no he's not. Didn't want to complicate things too much.

Looking at Klaus, Quinn was just waiting for him to say something but when that wasn't going to happen. She looked down for a moment, "Well in that case, I'm going to see Beth. See how long she'll be in for" She said quietly as she made her way towards the door but stopped suddenly when she saw Elijah.

"Quinn, surprised to see you here" Elijah said as a disapproving look came on his face.

"How did you find out she was down here?" She asked not knowing what exactly to say.

"I didn't. I just came down to see family but see you down here instead" Elijah replied as he looked at Klaus as to hope it wasn't part of his plan to get Quinn down in Mystic Falls alone without him.

"Right I'm going to say this, there was a car accident a 2 year old was seriously injured." Klaus said but Quinn just disappeared. "And that 2 year old is Quinn's"

Arriving at the hospital, Quinn walked to the reception and waited for someone to come and see her. When she saw a doctor, she spoke to them. "Excuse me, I've come to see Beth Corcoran"

"We haven't got a Beth Corcoran, but a Beth Fabray" the doctor said, "and you are?

Hearing the doctor, Quinn wondered on what was happening but when she heard her surname, she swallowed hardly, "I'm her mum" She replied.

"I'm Doctor Fell and I'm looking after her. She hasn't suffered any significant injuries and we're just keeping her for overnight observations. Hopefully, you'll be able to take her home tomorrow" the doctor said as they reached the room.

Seeing her baby in the room, made her heart sink but at least she'll be okay, "Can I go in and see her?" She asked.

"Of course you can" Doctor Fell replied as she opened the door and Quinn walked in.

Being in the room, Quinn took hold of her daughter's hand as she gently stroked her face, "Don't worry, sweetheart, everything will be okay. You'll have a new home and a new family" She whispered. Feeling someone's hand on her shoulder, she looked to see Elijah and smiled slightly, "She'll be fine" She whispered, "My darling angel will be okay" She said with a small smile on her face.

"When she comes out, we'll look after her as a family" Elijah said as he wrapped his arms around Quinn, "Just me, you, Beth and this little one" he said placing a hand on her stomach.

"Yeah that would be nice, a family" She whispered.

"Excuse me what do you mean?" came a voice and Quinn looked round as she saw Noah stood there. "Shelby is the one looking after her"

Knowing she will have to break the news to Noah, Quinn sighed softly, "Shelby isn't around anymore. She died in the accident and we're down as the official parents" Quinn explained, "I'm not going to stop you from seeing her" She said quickly.

"Is she okay?" Noah asked as he walked further into the room.

"Yeah she is. They said we should be able to take her home tomorrow" Quinn replied as she kept her eyes on Beth. She was so beautiful when she was sleeping. Everything didn't seem real but it was real. She was having a second chance at being a mum and that meant everything to her. "Noah, when we get back home, we'll have to arrange access and there's something else you need to know. I'm pregnant again"

"Don't worry Q. I'll be there whenever you need me to and I won't ever miss a minute of her growing up. She's our second chance" Noah said allowing a weak smile to appear on his face, "And congratulations"

"Thanks" She whispered as she looked at Noah for a minute.

The next day had arrived and Quinn had stayed by her daughter's side all night. Noah had gone back home and Elijah had stayed at his brother's although he was going to come back when they got the all clear to leave.

When the doctor entered the room, she looked at Quinn, "How has she been overnight?" Doctor Fell asked.

"She's been fine." Quinn replied as she looked towards the girl who seemed to be sat up in bed happily.

"Well in that case, you're free to go" Doctor Fell said as she looked to Quinn.

"Thank you." She said as she looked towards Beth before looking back at the doctor. "I just need to arrange for someone to pick us up"

"Well just let us know when you're going" the doctor said.

An hour later, Quinn, Beth and Elijah was together in the hospital enjoying family time together like they've always been a family. As Elijah picked all the bags up, Quinn picked Beth up and kissed her on the cheek. "It's time to go home. I'll just tell them we're going" She said looking towards Elijah as she made her way out of the room.

"Well, I'll put these in the car for you" he said as he walked in front of Quinn.

Walking away from the room, Quinn bumped into the doctor and smiled slightly, "We're going. We've got a long journey back home" Quinn said but seemed to stop when she noticed the doctor's face. "Is something the matter?" She asked.

"Oh it's just your boyfriend. I know what he is" the doctor replied as she walked of but Quinn just ignored them as she made her way to the car where she saw Elijah.

"You shouldn't be carrying her, not in your condition" Elijah whispered as he took Beth from her.

"I can't help it. She's my daughter" She said as she passed her to Elijah, "And how about we stay here. This is where your family is" She suggested.

"Are you sure? What about her dad?" He asked.

"He can come down and see her. He works for himself and I can go up with her anytime. We've got nothing to lose by staying down here." She said with a smile, "Our fresh new start"

"Well if you're sure, we will do" Elijah said as he wrapped his arms around her.

"I am sure" She said as she looked up at him, "Now I need to get her home" She said quietly as she opened the door and got into the car, looking back at Beth, "It's okay Beth" She whispered rubbing her leg. She knew it was going to be hard for the two year old. She wasn't used to her but used to Shelby. This was a mess.

AN: I know they're in Mystic Falls from now on but lets just say this is where things will start to change. In the next chapters, the pregnancy will be much of the focus and we'll see what will happen to Quinn.
