Young Dracula Season 4: Outtakes
I'm sorry I haven't written this earlier but I have been revising for my January exams. I think my whole life revolves around university now.
Anyway, I've seen the season 5 trailer, it's so good! I am looking forward to when YD comes back into my life again, so I actually have something to watch!
I watched Bloodbound and within the first 5 minutes I found this outtake in it. So I decided to have this... it's going to be one of those Count/Vlad moments which I miss so much. There is one in Bloodbound which is a rare thing so I am extending it!
I don't own YD!
Understanding – based during episode 6 of season 4
Vlad shook his head irritated and flung off the red coat that had been forced on his as he slept. He then ripped off the sign around his neck and snapped his fingers letting it burn into ash.
"I should have run away while I had the chance," Vlad muttered. "I should have left with Erin just after Ryan died."
He climbed in to his coffin, not bothering to shut it and looked at the ceiling.
There was no way he was getting out of the blood binding now. There was no Erin in the way anymore and the threat hanging over Vlad's head of the peace treaty breaking down.
If he ended it now it would not only mean the end of the peace treaty ad breather's getting killed but Vlad suspected that Ramanga would take out his anger on his entire family.
Vlad cringed. He knew full well in a fight he could beat Ramanga, but Ingrid wouldn't stand a chance, and the Count might make it out... but Adze would probably help there was no doubt Ingrid and the Count would be dusted.
There was one thing Vlad knew right now and that was he couldn't survive without his family. It was bad enough losing Erin like he had, and having no one he could trust... but if he lost his family then there was no point at all. He risked his life to save them about five years ago and he was not going to let them die on him now.
"Vladdy," The Count peered around the door seeing that Vlad was sulking in his coffin.
"I'm not in the mood to be lectured about doing the right or wrong thing Dad," Vlad said not even bothering to look at his father.
The Count ignored his son and shut the door behind him. He then went over to sit on the metal frame of Vlad's coffin.
"You changed the inside of your coffin." He noticed.
Vlad rolled his eyes. "I had it done months ago," he said. "You never pay attention to what I do," he spoke bitterly. He knew well his father 'paid attention' to him, but he didn't really see. He only saw what he wanted to see. It was why the Count never understood Vlad's desire for peace.
"It's nice," the Count told him. "Though I still prefer the traditional mahogany."
"No surprise there," Vlad murmured and almost smiled.
The Count didn't say anything; he was more than aware of how much of a traditionalist he was.
"How am I meant to marry someone I don't love?" Vlad murmured to himself.
"It happens Vladimir," the Count shifted slightly uncomfortably. He only wanted the marriage so the peace treaty would disappear; really he was uncomfortable in making Vlad unhappy. He knew well if Vlad ever found out the true purpose behind the marriage then Vlad would hold it against him for centuries. "Adze is well over a few centuries old. She'll die well before you do."
"Is that meant to be comforting?" Vlad looked down to look at his father raising his eyebrows.
"I'm saying that she'll be ash before you, and when that happens there is nothing stopping you from finding someone you love." The Count informed him.
"I'm the Chosen One," the Count heard both acceptance and irritation in Vlad tone. "I'm more at risk of being staked than she is."
"But she's not as powerful as you are Vladdy," he pointed out. "The Ramanga's believe that your first bite will give Adze more power."
"It won't," Vlad said knowingly. "It didn't with Ingrid."
"Exactly, so no matter what she will never be a match for you. She'll die first and you can have whoever you want." The Count said this cheerfully, he didn't like Ramanga, after all he had tried to kill him once and wanted him dead really. He was only working with him for his own benefit.
Vlad sighed, still not convinced. "Still not helping," he muttered.
The Count lost his patience and decided to be forthright. "What's the matter? You can tell me." He understood how Vlad felt right now. He had been in a similar situation with Elizabeta, but had got out of it. Unfortunately Vlad couldn't run away from this like the Count had. "Is it the breather girl?"
The Count realised why he hadn't been helping. Until Vlad got over Erin he was never going to look at anyone else even if Adze was dusted this second Vlad wouldn't want anyone else but Erin until he fully got over her.
How was Vlad going to get over Erin was he was already in so deep?
Kind of short but it's a Vlad/Count moment so I am happy with it.
Thanks for reading and please review!
