Chapter 8: Sleep With One Eye Open

Kendall's POV

Jo left for England. Really? It's like history is repeating itself. I got back to Apt 2J and plopped down on the orange couch with a loud thud. I didn't want to cry over her, not again. But the tears still threatened to spill. The tears began to slip down my cheeks nonstop. I cried and cried until I heard the door open. Tears still slipped from my cheeks but now the cry was muffled sobs.

"Aw buddy we all knew this was coming", James said sitting down on the edge of the couch and patting my back.

"Just leave me alone guys", I said talking into the couch since I was face down. " I really don't want to talk."

"Cheer up Kendall! You're Kendall Knight", Carlos said with enthusiasm. "You're the guy who cheers us up."

"Guys it's just the same I don't want to hear it. She doesn't care," I said angrily.

"Ok, he's mad," James whispered to Logan and Carlos.

"Yeah but he's talking," Logan whispered back.

The guys tried their best at cheering me up but it wasn't working. I just really wanted to be left alone for today at least. But it seemed I wasn't getting my way.

Arden's POV

We all went to visit Kendall. Poor kid. He's so upset. Cat suggested we get Kendall out of the house. But he wasn't really in the mood to hang out. I knew that after just having a conversation with him but the others were set on trying to cheer him. We did end up taking him out by the poolside to at least get some fresh air and drink a smoothie. It seemed to at least get a smile out of the poor guy. I mean his heart had been broken by the same girl twice. Everything was going well until a certain someone came up to talk to him.

Ali's POV

I saw Kendall and his friends drinking smoothies. Maybe I should try and get close to him again. I couldn't bare the thought of ever getting back with him. But getting him to be my friend could work in my favor without a doubt.

"Hey Kendall. How are you", I asked simply.

"Hey Ali," He said not even looking up. He looked like he was about to cry. Wait, Kendall never cries.

"Ali, you have the nerve to flirt with Kendall when Jo just broke his heart." Logan said and James getting up trying escort me away

"This is what I get for trying to be friendly", I said as I walked off. "I was just saying hello. I had no idea he's been dumped."

I turned back and looked at Logan and James to let them know if they ever tried to touch me again they would greatly regret it.

Oh, great so Kendall won't even talk to me for now at least.

Logan's POV

After Ali so stupidly tried to flirt with Kendall. Seriously, I mean he is going through a break up and she decidedly to flirt with him for her own personal benefit. My phone started to buzz and I realized I got a text from Gustavo. Although she said that wasn't her intention at that we would regret every treating her like that.

From: Gustavo

Dogs! Studio! NOW!

That couldn't go any worse.

"Let's go guys", I say. "Gustavo is calling us in."

We all left to get up and said goodbye to the rest of the group.

We all went to Roque records I was kind of nervous. I didn't know what awaited us. Gustavo being involved can have very frustrating results.

"DOGS! Someone stole our songs", Gustavo yelled and he plopped down on the chair.

"What! I bet I knew who it was." Kendall said suddenly. I was actually surprised of how calm he was.

"WHO!" Gustavo demanded instantly.

"Someone from Team Hawk without a doubt", Kendall pouted sadly.

"Well, I have some new songs for Big Time Rush. But not really for Victorious or May."

"Wait! Gustavo you are a genius May and Victorious can write their songs and you can help", Kendall said jumping up happily.

"Maybe", Gustavo said considering the option. "Dog, that's not a bad idea."

"Sure Gustavo" Kendall said sarcastically with an eye roll. He then returned to pouting as the rest of came up with a plan and got everyone else back at the studio.

Hawk's POV

I had just dismissed the rest of my artists after a grueling studio session with the boys of One Direction. I had to continue my plan to bring down Roque Records and bring some harm to little Ms. Arden who just happens to be a traitor. After I trained her, brought her here from Ireland and helped her. I told my two little spies to stay behind since I wanted to discuss their next step in my plan. These girls were just as evil as me and I wanted to use it to my advantage.

"Now you girls have to do whatever you have to do to bring Gustavo down", I said simply as I sat across from them at the meeting room.

"Anything", Ali questioned with a twisted smirk.

"Anything", I repeated with a smirk.

"Trust me Hawk", she replied. "I have this one under control."

"I have a few things to use to blackmail Arden", she laughed. "She'll be regretting the day she messed with us."

"Me too", Liz added. "We have been working on a plan since our last conversation."

"I know exactly what to do", Ali laughed. "Trust me. I'll make them hate each other by the end of the month."

"We're going to have to do a bit of pretending", Liz said with a smirk.

"I knew I could count on you girls", I responded. "Caw! Caw!"

"Too much", I asked them.

"Nope", they said simultaneously.

"Good", I laughed. "Finally someone agrees with me!"

Tori's POV

I was sitting down at the Plamwood's lobby thinking about how I could possibly push Ali's buttons just a bit while also gaining her trust. I need to know what history she had with Kendall. I'm not to good at this but I have to be if I want to gain Kendall's trust. I saw Kendall enter the lobby and saw this as my perfect chance to start talking to him again.

"Hey Kendall", I said. "I nee-"

She seriously came out of nowhere! Like she just appeared and boomed she took my chance!

"Kendall", Ali waved at Kendall. "Let's hang you and I ! Like old times?"

"I don't know Ali", Kendall responded looking at her.

"Come on K", Ali smiled. "I don't bite. We're just friends!"

"Okay", he responded with a smile. "Give me a second. Meet me by the pool."

Wait. What? Why would he go out with that she devil?

Ali smiling triumphantly left to say bye to Liz and made her way out to the pool.

Without hesitation Kendall made his way over to the guys who were extremely confused. He whispered something to them and they nodded. He waved goodbye to them and gave me a small wave as he made his way outside. Now this is what I call confusing.
