"Maia!" a voice squealed as Hunter and I walked through the doors of my brother's house. A little girl with light brown hair and bright green eyes ran up to me smiling. I leaned down and hugged the little girl.

"Hello Theresa" I said to the three year old as her elder siblings turned around from the show they were watching.

"Hello Maia" the two of them said as they turned back to the cartoon they were watching. I heard quick footsteps from the next room. Before I could say anything a blonde young woman around 28 years old with the same green eyes as her daughter ran into the room.

"You could have at least warned us you were here" Erika nearly screamed as her hand raised to her chest, "Rory, and Mona went to go meet you guys at the airport."

"We took a taxi" Hunterresponded as he walked over toward the couch and sat down, "did she take the twins or-" The question was cut off by an answer from upstairs. Both twins cries echoed down the stairs. Hunter groaned as he stood up and headed upstairs to check on his kids.

Erika turned toward me with a small smile, "so how was school?"

"Umm" I began as my mind quickly rushed to the kidnapping incident, "okay I guess, just like any other school."

Erika smiled as she walked over to the pile of toys scattered on the floor, "make any friends, maybe a guy friend?" I felt my cheeks reddened at the thought as she began to pick up the toys. There was a guy who I thought was cute but we could never datedate or anything.

"No" I responded.

Raphael turned around smiling, "she's lying. Mai has a boyfriend." I sent the little boy an annoyed look before turning to his mother who laughed.

"Maybe a crush, who?" Erika asked as my cheeks reddened even more. I opened my mouth to say something but was interrupted by Hunter who was walking downstairs with both twins in his arm.

"They are getting so big" I changed the subject as I quickly walked over and took Helen from his arms. The girl stared at me with wide eyes as she continue to drink what ever was in her baby bottle. Mathew stretched his arms out toward me and I sighed.

Hunter smiled, "they miss you" and handed the second one over.

"I hate you" I said as Hunter walked over and sat on the couch.

"Avatar the Last Airbender? I haven't seen this in a while" Hunter stated ignoring me. Mathew began to rest his head on my shoulder as I put Helen on the floor but she began to cry.

"Welcome home Maia" Hunter laughed.

I took a deep nervous breath as I stood beside Rory in the airport. The airplane containing my mom is arriving any minute now and as each second past, I could not help but feel more nervous. I felt my phone go off in my pocket and I took it out to see a missed call from Speed. I groaned, Speed has been calling me a lot recently, but that was due to the fact I have not answered any calls recently.

"Who ever has been calling you call them now, it sounds important," Rory said with a nervous smile. I could not help but think about how angry my mother would be at the two of us if the plan fails. I nodded my head as I began to walk around returning the call.

"BUNNY! You finally answer, where have you been, we thought you managed to get kidnapped ag-" Speed began.

I laughed nervously, "sorry, I didn't have much time to tell everyone I had to go. Family stuff, not that important. I thought Connor would have told you."

"He only said you left with, your brother in law, who I overheard one of the twins call hot" Speed responded, "I am beginning to question one of their's sexuality…"

I laughed, "well it's nothing important… sorry again."

A voice stated something over the speaker about a plane boarding and Speed asked, "are you at an airport."

"Umm… yes, it's involved with the family business" I said.

"What is the business?" he asked curiously as I heard a door close over the phone.

"It's nothing, my mom just wanted to see me," I said as someone walked right into me. "Sorry" I said without thinking and they looked up at me with an annoyed looked. I stared at the sight shocked.

"Maia!" my mother exclaimed as she hugged me.

"Goodbye" I said into the phone.

Speed yelled "wait" but I ignored it.

My mom had a huge smile on her face as she asked, "who was on the phone? Some guy?" I felt my cheeks redden.

"Yes, but it's not that kind of guy… umm... I mean, he's not my boyfriend. Not my type" I responded, "he's my friends crush."

"Right" my mom replied smiling; she probably thought I was lying. "We should get going, I want to go see my grandkids, hurry up."

"Okay" I said with a small nervous smile as I followed behind.

My phone vibrated in my pocket for the twelfth time since I met up with my mom. We were almost home after stopping at a few stores, and a diner for lunch. Each time it was the same person; Speed. Why did he want to talk to me so badly? Did something happen at the school? I sighed. I could not answer it as long as my mother was there, and she was always there. My mother seemed like a shadow or Slender Man.

"We're almost home," my brother stated randomly. I looked in the rearview mirror and noticed how tired he looks. My phone began to ring as my mother turned back toward me.

"Why don't you answer it already, it's probably your boyfriend" my mom said smiling.

"One he's not my boyfriend" I replied, "two it's probably not that important."

"Just answer it, it's starting to get annoying" Rory stated as he turned onto his street and I took my phone out. It was Ara.

"Hello" I said as I answered it.

"Hey, someone wants to talk to you" Ara said before handing the phone over to someone else.

"Hello Bunny" Speed voice erupted from the phone.

"Hello" I said as Rory stopped the car in his driveway and the other two exited the car. They walked toward the back to get moms bags and shopping bags. My mom wanted to get presents for everyone and went a little overboard. I stayed in the back seat and asked, "is there something important you wanted to say? Sorry for not answering before, still busy with family stuff." I prayed he was not mad at me for ignoring all the calls.

"It's okay... I just wanted to say…" Speed began thoughtfully choosing his words, "something happened."

"What happened?" I asked feeling nervous as Rory and mom finished and were heading inside. They were laughing about something I did not know.

"There was an accident" Speed responded.

"What kind of accident?" I asked.

"Your car… Sugar Rush… it's missing" Speed finally admitted.

"WHAT" I screamed and the quickly remembered where I was, "how?"

"The garage was broken into, we are trying to look for it but we thought you should know" Speed said. I could not help but remember when I got the car, what would Hunter say when I tell him the car is now gone. I felt my face pale.

"Do you have any clues?" I asked.

After a short pause Speed finally answered, "no."

A/N - Sorry for the really long delay, been busy with school. A lot of papers in college -.- and it's just the beginning. Next week is finals and after that I will be free and try to write more. (Sorry again ^_^)
