Double update, again. We are now in Season 4, damn. Only made this story on the fifth and it's gotten this many chapters. Then again, I like Game Of Thrones. And I sure as hell will be having Daenerys give birth in this one.
A few days had passed since taking Yunkai, and in those few days George and Daenerys had gotten married. So how they were husband and wife, King and Queen now.
Speaking of then king, George glanced at Daenerys' baby bump, it had grown a lot bigger and George was sure it would be only two months until she gave birth, they were hoping to have taken Meereen by that time as George wasn't letting her give birth in a freaking desert land. George looked around as he rested with Daenerys leaning against his chest, Drogon's head on her lap, they watched Rhaegal and Viserion flying towards them in the distance with something in their mouth, both were tugging at it.
The two dragons dropped it and George rolled his eyes. Rheagal and Viserion tugged at the piece of meat as Drogon lifted his head and screeched before joining in. Daenerys smiled brightly before reaching down to try to calm them.
"Hush now." She uttered before reeling back as Drogon snarled at them, George putting Hus arms around his wife's stomach and watching Drogon warily. Drogon screeched at his brothers before flying off.
"They're dragons, Your Graces." Jorah spoke up behind them. "They can't be takes, not even by their mother and father."
"Their getting older." George said as he stood up and gently helped his pregnant wife up. "They've entered that rebellious stage now, Rhaegal and Viserion are the same. Come, the army must be ready."
They walked down a hill and arrived in front of the army. Both noticed Daario and Grey Worm missing.
"Ser Barristan." Dany greeted.
"Your Graces." Barristan bowed.
"Where the hell is Daario and Grey Worm?" George asked, looking around. His respect for Daario had went up a little bit, but he didn't fully trust the Second Son captain, he saw the glances he sent Daenerys at times.
"Gambling, Your Grace." Missandei answered with a small smile.
George frowned. "The heck can Grey Worm gamble?"
"Let's find out, my King." Daenerys said and the two walked off to find Daario and Grey Worm, Missandei following them. Along the way, the freed slaves said 'Mhysa' and "Fhysa' as they passed. George nodded at them as they passed before arriving at where Daario and Grey Worm were, they were sitting down with their sword blades carefully balanced between their arms. "How long have they been at this?"
"Since midnight, Your Grace." Missandei answered
"Bloody hell, how are neither of you two loosing?" George asked as he looked between them.
Daario chuckled. "Grey Worm has put up a wonderful fight, but I can see his arms starting to shake." He said.
"Just...why are you doing this?" George said in amusement as he looked between them.
"To get the honor of riding beside you and the Queen." Daario answered with a wink towards Daenerys who rolled her eyes. Daario glanced at George. "Don't worry, Your Grace, I ain't trying to steal her. She's married and pregnant, I think that shouts out, 'off limits'."
George nodded a little, the guy may sometimes flirt, but he knew where to draw the line it seemed. "Still...midnight?" George asked, getting a laugh from Daario.
"The honor of riding by your King and Queen's side goes to Ser Jorah and Ser Barristan, they didn't keep us waiting this morning." Daenerys said firmly. "You two will ride at the rear back and protect the livestock." Daenerys turned to leave but stopped before saying. "The last kan to hold his sword, can find a new King and Queen to serve." With that, Daenerys walked away with Missandei and the two gamblers dropped their swords while George laughed before walking off to catch up with his Wife and Queen.
"I think they shit themselves." George told Daenerys who giggled.
12 Hours later
George had left Daenerys and Missandei, who were talking about Meereen, to check something out. As he did , he thought about the latest visions or dreams he's been getting? He didn't know what but he always saw an old ruin and reckoned it was the ruins if Old Valyria.
"Go to the ruins of Old Valyria." The voice of that woman from Qarth said in his mind, remembering when she told him, when his need was dire he must go there.
"And right now, my need isn't dire." George said to himself as he thought about what could be in those ruins. Whatever it was, something there was calling to him. George didn't want to leave his pregnant wife right now, so he hoped whenever he was in dire need to go to those ruins, he hoped his wife had given birth by then, that way he can't worry about not being there to see his child born. It was always a father's wish to watch their child be born.
Shaking the thoughts away, he nudged Shadowmere on and went to where Daenerys was, noticing Daario leave as he approached. He had to resist groaning, despite the amusement the guy can do, George was getting seriously annoyed with him. That annoyance grew when he saw the flowers in Hus wife's hand.
"Dare I ask?" George said, gesturing to the flowers. Daenerys rolled her eyes and nudged him playfully.
"Shush you. Daario can flirt and Strategize at the same time, but his flirting won't get me interested and away from the man I vowed to love forever and birth his children." Daenerys said with a kiss on George's lips, making him smile.
"Any kiss from you brightens my day up." His eyes went to her large baby bump. "Just as protecting our little one does." Daenerys smiled and rubbed her stomach before gasping. "What?"
"He kicked. I think he likes the sound of you're voice." Daenerys said before feeling the baby kick again. "And mine it seems."
George chuckled as he kissed his wife passionately. He was overjoyed at hearing the news his child loved his and his mother's voices. They saw their army stop and went to see what was going on. When they got there, they saw something that caused Daenerys to grip George's hand and hold her stomach protectively.
A child crucified to a cross.
"There's one on every mile marker between here and Meereen." Jorah solemnly informed the two, knowing they'll be thinking on what if their child was crucified like that.
"This is barbaric." George growled as he tried keeping his temper in. Daenerys' hand seemed to be his only restraint. "How many miles are there between here and Meereen?" George growled out, not in the mood for advisement right now.
"163 Your Grace." Jorah answered.
Barristan spoke up. "I'll tell our men to ride ahead and busy them, you both don't heed to see thus and imagine it's your child."
"You will do no such thing." Daenerys said calmly, but George could see the rage and tears behind it. Her motherly instincts had kicked in at seeing this. "My husband and I will we each and every one of their faces. Remove her collar before you busy her." After that order, the married lovers walked away to get the image of their child out of their head.
A Day Later
It took them another day to reach the city of Meereen, and it sure as hell was big. As the army assembled in front of the gates, the two rulers waited for the masters to gather on the battlements. The two dismounted their horses, George helping his wife down, and their fellow party members did the same. George looked at the gate and filed his head a little.
"That's a nice gate, shame if it were to get broken." He said with a smirk, one shared with Daenerys who looked at him.
"Do you know how to breach it?" She asked.
"If we had a big battering ram or dragons not acting like teenagers then we'd have a way to bring it down." George mused as he crossed his arms and looked over the city with sharp eyes, his hood was up and the mask was on, his eyes gazing all over the city to try and find any sort of weakness in it's walls or gates. "Or they open it for us."
"Good thing the slaves want us here." Daenerys smiled at him, getting one in return. The gate then started opening. "Are they attacking?"
"A single rider." Jorah answered as a man on a horse came out. "A champion of Meereen, they want you to send your own champion against him."
"...Their staking their entire city on one man's life?" George asked in confusion as he looked at Jorah. "Bit too much don't you think?"
"They just wish to show you they are superior." Jorah answered with .a shake of his head.
George sneered as he looked back at the rider, he hated those who believed were superior than everyone else. "I hate those kind of people, ones who think everyone is beneath them or inferior." The man got off his hose and started unzipping his pants. "The ruck is he.." The man then pissed in their direction and George growled. "Right then."
The man started yelling and Missandei translated. "He says we are an army without... Man parts. He claims you are no woman but a man who...hides his cock in his own asshole with your spawn while you're lover cowers like a whore." Dany glare at the man for daring to insult her, her husband, and her unborn child.
"That's it, I'm killing this bastard." George growled as he cracked his neck. Daenerys stopped him. "Dany, he insulted you and our child."
"A champion is to be sent out, not the king." Jorah said but George glared at him.
"And their got personal by insulting my family. I may be king, she may be queen, but she is my wife and carrying my child. This asshole has gotten personal, I don't like things getting personal." With that, George walked forward, drawing Wolfsbane out. "Alright then you bastard, I'll give you a fucking fight! So come and have a go if ya think you're 'ard enough!" (AN: I cheered at this line with a "fuck yeah!")
The man yelled at him in Valyrian but George just stuck the middle finger up at him before giving him the 'bring it on' gesture. Daenerys shook her head in amusement at her husband, use to his weird gestures and words.
George stood patiently as the champion of Meereen got a spear and charged forward on his horse. The former mercenary twirled Wolfsbane around as he waited and waited foe the horse to get closer. He looked apover his shoulder at a worried Daenerys and winked before suddenly throwing his sword at the rider and smirked when it went right through the horse and into the man's crotch, hearing his screams as tebhorse fell down.
"I love this job." George muttered as he walked forward and easily ripped Wolfsbane out before slicing the man's head off. He saw archers shooting their arrows at him but he just took a few steps back and they missed him. George smirked before flipping them off. "Sucks to be him." With that's he walked back.
"Sometimes I hate that man." Daenerys said with an amused smile as her husband cake to stand beside her, smirking under his mask. Daenerys shook her head at him and he winked. Daenerys looked at the people of Meereen and said in Valyrian. "I am Daenerys Stormborn and that man who slayed your champion is my husband, George Stormborn. Your Masters have told you lies about us, or they have told you nothing. It does not matter, we have nothing to say to them. My husband and I only want to speak to you. First, we went to Astapor, those who were slaves in Astapor now stand behind me and my husband, free men. Next we went to Yunkai, those slaves in Yunkai now stand behind us, free. Now we have come to Meereen. We are not your enemy, the enemy stands beside you. your enemy steals and murder your children. Your enemy has nothing for you but chains and suffering and commands. My husband and I do not bring you commands, we bring you a choice. And your enemies what they deserve."
"Forward!" George ordered the Unsullied, who obeyed the command and moved the catapults forward. Once they were in position, George ordered. "Fire!" All the catapults were launched, sending the boxers with all 163 collars from the crucified children. Daenerys and George watched on coldly as they saw the realization appear on the parents of the children. "And now, they revolutionize." George said, Daenerys nodding in agreement. After that, they led their army somewhere to camp.
2 Hours later
After the planning of having Grey Worm and a few Unsullied get into the city via the sewers, Daenerys went to see where her husband was and saw him sitting on a small hill with Rhaegal beside him and his head on his father's lap. She smiled before approaching. "May I sit?" She asked, getting George to look at her.
"Need you ask?" George raised an eyebrow, making her chuckle before he spread his legs a little after Rhaegal lifted his head and Daenerys sat in between, leaning back against her husband's chest. Rhaegal placed his head down beside George's left keg as the married couple gazed at the city. "To think of how far we've come. It feels like Yesterday that you were with Drogo and find out you were pregnant, but all that was like nearly a year ago." George looked at her stomach. "And our little one must have been a stubborn one to have not been born now."
Daenerys giggled and whacked his chest. "Don't worry, he'll be out and you'll have me to yourself for exotic nights." George kissed her neck, making her moan as she caressed his cheek.
The two stayed in that position and a slight breeze past, causing the two to shudder. Rhaegal, seeing his parents shiver, placed a wing around them and warmed them up. George rubbed the green dragon's snout. "Thanks buddy." The two lovers then fell asleep with a dragon watching over them
The next days they were awakened by Jorah who made sure to not wake up a sleeping Rhaegal, bad idea to wake a sleeping dragon.
"Your Graces, look." Jorah pointed at the statue on the pyramid and George and Daenerys' eyes went to it. On top of it was the Targaryen flag, flapping proudly in the wind. They had taken Meereen.
"Meereen is ours." Daenerys said with a smile as she held her husband's arm before leading them down the ramp.
A few minutes later saw the two rulers walking through the chanting freed slaves. Children practically threw thenselves into their arms, but the two lovers just gave them pats on the head and let them be dragged gently through the path the Unsullied made, slaves threw die their collars and Daenerys was smiling brightly.
They made it up the path the Unsullied made and stood on a platform with their advisers behind them. Many smiled at their Queen and King and George couldn't help but gave a wave back, making his wife giggle. George just held her in his arm, loving the smile on her face and to him, that was enough joy for him. As long as his wife is happy, he's happy.
The two looked to the former masters who glared up at them, but George's glare was like death itself. Looking at Jorah, the King asked. "Remind us, Ser Jorah, how many children were crucified on the crosses on the way here to Meereen?" George asked, not looking over his shoulder.
"163, Your Grace." Jorah asked, not liking where this was going. That feeling intensified she Daenerys and George shared a look.
"Yes, that was it." Daenerys said before both rulers looked at Grey Worm who looked at an Unsullied soldier who nodded at another and the Masters were taken to be crucified.
"Your Grace, a word?" Barristan asked. Daenerys turned to him, given him all her attention. "The city is yours. All these people are your subjects now. Sometimes it is better to answer injustice, with Mercy."
"I will answer Injustice, with Justice." Daenerys stated with a 'that is final' tone. "They will be nailed to the crosses just like those children."
"They should just be killed, it's better that way." George said with his arms crossed. Nailed to the cross wasn't even what they deserved, they should just be put down like rabid dogs.
"You're wife and Queen is going to serve Justice and you want her to look the other way?" Daario asked in bewilderment. "You have no right to question her." Obviously you didn't get the mwmom, asshole.
"Daario is right, Edwards. The masters need to be shown their place. This is a good way to show them." Jorah spoke up, defending Dany and Daario. When George looked at them, his glare said 'shut it'.
"Did you two just-"
"He has that right." Daenerys interrupted, glaring at Jorah and Daario as she stood beside her husband. "Need I remind you, that George is your king, and my husband. He is a Targaryen now, has the right to question me, a right you do not have because you are neither, remember that." Daenerys then looked at her husband. "I appreciate your counsel, my king, but I will not vend to this."
"Very well. I do not really care if their eyes were ripped out, just death would have been easier." George said with a sigh as he looked to the horizon, his mood a little Dow from being questioned like that.
I know they act like suck ups to try and get into my wife's pants, but fucking hell they do not tell me what I have the right to ask my wife. George thought, right now Jorah and Daario were NOT in his good books.
Daenerys saw the angry look in his eyes, and knew one more comment like that from Jorah or Daario will force George to kill him? She said. "Come, husband, let us see the pyramid where we will be staying."
George nodded and followed his wife.
It took them about an hour to get there, the entire walk was filled with the screams of agony from the masters. Daenerys was about halfway there when she gasped a little and held her stomach, George immediately rushing to her side. "Dany?"
"I...don't." She was interrupted when she yelled in pain a little and said. "It's coming!"
"Now?!" George said as he looked at Jorah, Barristan, and Daario who were catching up. Not in the mood for whatever shit they were going to say, George picked his wife up bridal style and rushed towards the pyramid. Barristan caught up. "She's giving birth, before you were going to ask."
"Do you have a midwife?" Barristan asked
"Missandei agreed to help birth the child." George said as they quickly reached the pyramid and George ordered. "Find anyone to help in this, take Jorah and Daario with you, I am in no mood for them right now." Barristan nodded and left with Jorah and Daario.
"Shouldn't we be there?" Daario asked.
"A husband can look after his own wife, you two were in the wrong to tell him he can't question his wife." Barristan said sternly.
Back with George and Daenerys, he found a large bedroom and quickly placed her on the bed. Missandei soon rushed in. "Thank god, help me out with her." Missandei nodded and the two quickly took off Daenerys pants and underwear, George went to get water and a cloth for her and soon found one.
He went back to what is to be his and Daenerys' chambers and gave the bucket of water to Missandei and damped the cloth in before wiping sweat from Daenerys' forehead.
"Okay, Your Grace, your going to need to push." Missandei urged as Daenerys screams in pain. Missandei looked at George. "I need to do this alone, I will in once the baby cries." George nodded and left the room ,closing the door behind him.
Barristan skin cake up a minute later. "Where's Jorah and Daario?" George asked.
"Told them the King wouldn't want them there." Barristan said as Daenerys screamed again and George breathed shakily. "This is not your fault."
"It is." George said. "I'm the one who put the child within her. The paid she's going through, I did that. I don't even know if I will be a good father."
"You will." Barristan assured firmly, putting a hand on George's shoulder. "I've seen the type of man you are, George Edwards Targaryen, you will be a great King, greater than possibly any other king. And you'll be a great father."
George gave Barristan a small smile. "Thank you, Barristan. You I like more than Jorah and Daario."
Barristan chuckled. "They had no right to question you like that, it's their jealousy no doubt. You have what they don't." Another scream was heard, then the sound of a baby crying. George looked at the door in shock before taking a deep breath and walked in, Barristan following.
When they entered, they saw a beautiful scene.
Daenerys, sweating from the child-birthing, held a baby in her arms, smiling motherly down at it. She looked up at her husband and smiled widely. "Come meet...your son."
George felt his legs move him to the bed and standing beside Daenerys while Barristan and Missandei gave them privacy. George felt his eyes water as he looked upon his son. He was a perfect young thing, with a little tuff of black and silver hair, meaning he got both from his parents. He held his mother's finger in a tight grip.
"He's so beautiful." Daenerys whispered as George went to his knees and kissed Dany's forehead. "Our little baby boy is beautiful and perfect."
"Just like his mother." George whispered as both parents looked down at their son.
"Would you like to hold him?" Daenerys asked with a smile. George nodded and she passed her son to his father who held him, but kept close to the mother. George felt tears going down his eyes and made no move to stop them.
"I have always wanted this. To find a beautiful woman, marry her, and have a family. I have that now." George said with a smile as their son slept soundly. "He has our hair."
Then, the baby opened his eyes to reveal one violet the other brown.
"And our eyes. The perfect Union of us." Daenerys said with a breathless chuckle as their son gazed up at his father and mother.
"What's his name?" George said, looking at his wife as his finger was locked in a grip by their son.
"Um..." Daenerys thought long for a name before one came to mind. "Daemon. Daemon Edwards Targaryen. Son of Daenerys Targaryen and George Edwards."
"Daemon." George tested it out before smiling. "Yeah, perfect name." He chuckled down at his son who gazed at him curiously. "Welcome to the world, Daemon Targaryen.
And thus, a dragon hatchling was born.
AND SCENE! I am freaking crying. I'm just going to Say, the baby's born now and leave you all.
