Tristan couldn't take his eyes off of Rory of the picture that she was holding. "That is our baby, Rory. That is our proof that our love for one another is strong enough to get us through anything. My God I can't believe we made that tiny baby."

Rory chuckled lightly as she finally looked up from the picture and over at Tristan. "Tristan, I really am sorry for what I said earlier. I didn't mean it at all. I was just scared. I know that you could never do to me what my so called father did to my mom. I have no doubt that you love me and that you already love our baby. I can see it in your eyes."

Tristan smiled and leaned over and kissed Rory gently on the mouth. "I'm pretty sure that I have loved you since I first saw you, Rory. I hope that you don't mind that I still plan on calling you Mary because you are my Mary and you always will be. My only regret is that you weren't my first. I wish now that I would have waited for you because it would have made it all the more special. When we slept together eight weeks ago it wasn't just sex, Rory. What we did was make love and the baby that you are now carrying is proof of that. You belong to me just like I belong to you, Rory. Our daughter or son is going to have so many people loving him or her that he or she isn't going to know what to do with all the love the receive."

Rory smiled and then sighed. "I just wish that my grandmother would back off of me. I'm pregnant now, Tristan, and I don't think that stress is good for the baby or me right now. I don't know how to make her back off. Maybe I should just drop out of Chilton that way she can't hold it over my head anymore."

Tristan's eyes darkened in anger as he finally connected the dots on what Rory said and hasn't said. He looked up and saw his father, mother, Lorelai, and grandfather all watching him and Rory and motioned them over. Once they were surrounding him and Rory he finally asked with a growl in his voice "Did any of you know that Emily Gilmore is holding Chilton over Rory's head in order to make Rory do whatever she wants her to do?"

Lorelai's eyes widened in shock as she looked at her daughter. "Is that true, Rory? Is she threatening to stop your tuition if you don't give into her demands? I know that she is holding the Friday night dinners and parties over your head because that was the agreement we came up with when she offered to pay your tuition for you to attend Chilton. But has she threatened to cut off your tuition if you didn't comply with what she wanted?"

Rory sighed and finally nodded. "Yes, mom, she has. I just wish that she would leave me alone. At first I was happy to have grandma and grandpa back in my life but now I just want to be done with grandma. I'm pregnant, mom, and I know that stress can't be good for the baby or me. What do I do? Should I just drop out of Chilton so I no longer have to listen to grandma?"

At that Janlan shook his head. "You will not be dropping out of Chilton, Rory. I will contact Headmaster Charleston tomorrow and have him take your tuition out of my bank account for the year and he can refund Emily Gilmore the money she has paid. From now on ignore any calls you get from her because I will be having words with Richard about your grandmother. You are right that stress is not good for you or the baby. If Emily Gilmore wants to talk or see you she will have to go through Daniel and me first. I just want you to relax and enjoy being pregnant. You just worry about you and the baby and leave the rest of it to us adults. Alright, Rory?"

Rory nodded. "Alright, Janlan, I will do just that. Uh, mom, where are Luke and Jesse? I would have thought they would have come back with us."

Lorelai's eyes widened slightly and she blushed. "I didn't think to invite them back. I'll go and get them now if you and Tristan are sure that you don't mind them coming back."

Tristan smiled and shook his head. "I do not mind Luke and Jesse coming back at all. In fact I am pretty sure that Rory and I would love to show them the pictures of our little one. Luke helped to get me out of my car and Jesse stayed with Rory to make sure that she was safe and alright. Speaking of my car do we know what exactly happened to it or where it is? Do we even know who hit me? I think it was Dean but things are a little fuzzy for me including the conversation that I had with Rory on the way to the hospital. Doctor Hannah told me that was normal and that I would probably remember everything later today or tomorrow once my concussion started settling down some."

Rory frowned. and looked at Tristan after her mom left to go get Luke and Jesse to bring them back to the room. "Do you remember anything I said in the ambulance on the way here, Tristan?"

Tristan smirked slightly. "I remember you telling me how much you love me."

Rory chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Of course I told you how much I love you, Tristan. I also told you that it was Dean who hit you and that he did it on purpose because of me. I blamed myself for it and you told me that it wasn't my fault. It may not be my fault but I still feel bad."

Tristan sighed and brought the hand he was holding of Rory's up to his mouth and kissed it. "I do remember that conversation but I'll tell you again. You are not to blame for Dean hitting me, Rory. He is the one who can't handle the fact that you don't want to be with him. He is the one who hit me. You can't blame yourself for something you have no control over, Rory. All that matters is that I'm fine and that you and the baby are fine too. I do think I remember you screaming out that he had hurt the father of your baby. Did you actually do that or did I imagine that part?"

Rory blushed at that causing Daniel, Celeste, and Janlan all to chuckle slightly. "No, Tristan, you didn't imagine that. I broke down and dropped down to my knees when Jesse first came to me. Then after I looked up and saw Dean still looking smug I lost it and stood up and shouted in the middle of the road that he had hurt the father of my baby. I don't know who was more shocked about me yelling that like that. I'm pretty sure it is a tie between Luke, Jesse, and me. Although I have to admit I loved seeing the stunned disbelief look on Dean's face. Well I loved seeing it until he told me that I was a slut since I slept with you but not with him."

At that piece of news Tristan swore and then growled out "You are not a slut, Rory, so don't even think about believing his words. He is just pissed that I got all of you in the end when he got nothing of you. He is pissed because he knew then that I had your heart and always would since you gave me something you were never even tempted to give him. Now I think that we should try to get a little sleep before the doctor comes back in. Dad, could one of you go to the house and get me something comfortable to sleep in and get one of my shirts and a pair of my basketball shorts for Rory to sleep in? I don't think either of us want to spend the night in our clothes or in a hospital gown."

Daniel nodded. "I'll do that and also stop somewhere and get you two some food that you will actually eat."

Luke who had just walked in cleared his throat. "If you will wait a minute, Daniel, I will go with you and we can go to my Diner in Stars Hollow and I'll cook something that I know both Rory and Tristan will eat. We can also see what they have decided to do with Tristan's car while we are there."

Daniel thought for a moment and then nodded. "Okay we can do that. I'll find out what I can about your car, Tristan. If it turns out to be a total write off we'll get you a new one and a family car as well. Now show Luke and Jesse the pictures so that Luke and I can get going. Jesse, you won't mind staying here with the others will you?"

Jesse smiled and shook his head from where he was looking at the ultrasound pictures. "I don't mind staying at all, Daniel. I'll make sure that nobody causes any trouble while you are gone."

Luke chuckled and then bent down and kissed Rory on the head while he gently squeezed Tristan's shoulder. "We'll be back within an hour with some edible food for you two and some clothes to change into. If you think of anything else you want while we're gone have someone call one of us and we'll get it for you."

Rory smiled up at Luke and Daniel. "Thank you, both, and make sure that you drive safely. I think one car accident is enough for today." She watched as they exited the room and then closed her eyes. She fell asleep listening to Tristan, Jesse, her mom, Celeste, and Janlan all talking to one another. She had no doubt that from now on they were all going to be more protective of her than they already are. She felt Tristan kiss her head and as she fell into a deeper sleep a smile appeared on her face as she dreamed about a life with Tristan, her, the baby she was carrying now, and another two kids.
