Chapter 10 Interrogation Part 1

Peter returned to his worried aunt a few moments later leaving a bound Firestar to Jean Grey. There was a lot of officers, firefighter, EMS on scene to check on the injured or the wounded, Aunt May scolded him for running off like that though he defended that he had to check on his new journal partner, luckily for him he did run into April.

He then told her he found a friend that went to the same school as him though he was half right because the friend he made at Bayville High School was captured possibly kidnapped, anyway Peter told his Aunt that he would be taking a tour of his new surroundings and will not be back until later tonight.

May accepted this, she told him to be back before midnight.

Peter checked his watch it was 3:30pm so for now he had time to check out the Institute of Gifted Youngster.

"Alright Aunt May, I'll be back before then." Peter kissed his Aunt on the cheek before leaving her then he stopped, 'I don't want to leave Aunt May so I'll have to find April and ask if she's willing to give her a ride home.'

Peter took a while to find April again, today was his lucky day she was getting inside her car when he stopped the door from closing.

"Hey bud-oh Peter!" April gave him a look, "Why did you do that?"

He scratched the back of his head, "Look I hate to ask for a favor because we just met but can you give my aunt a ride home?"

April looked at him then sighed, "Fine but you owe one, I'll wait right here when you get back."

Peter nodded his head before returning to his Aunt. When he explained that his soon to be coworker was going to be giving the elder woman a ride home, she was being modest saying, "Oh Peter I can take care of myself."

"Aunt May I'm not having this argument with you, now April agreed to take you home and I promised you that I will be back before midnight tonight."

Once he found April again in the parking lot he introduced each other. Now the blonde hair teenager rode off with his aunt in the car. He smiled as it rode off into the distant, his smiled faded as he looked around making sure nobody was looking in his particular direction as his clothes started to change from casual to Spider-Man.

'Pretty bold move there Parker.'

'I know but right now I don't have a choice, we've got to meet up with Jean.'

Moments Later

Jean looked at the teenaged girl sitting on her knees still bound, Spiderman was felt generous (unless you want to call it generous) towards Firestar and pretty much webbed her hands behind her back and her ankles. Firestar was not having a good day to say the least. She has been captured and her teammates had left her, and she couldn't remember bits and pieces in why she was here per say.

"Can you stop staring at me?" She said annoyed, "It's bad enough I have my hands and feet gooed up with webbing as well as being on my knees in a submissive position but you staring at me like that is driving me crazy."

"Well sorry, I wasn't the one trying to capture my friends which by the way are captured by the Hellions." Jean spat back crossing her arms

"Humph, all I ask is for you to stop staring at me like that its very uncomfortable." She shifted turning her back to Jean.

Jean was about to speak when Spidey came back, "Well seems to me like you guys got acquainted."

"Hardly, did you take care of personal business?" She asked

"Hm…now I hope you have more friends than the ones you came with." He said

"Well while you were away I made a quick phone call to Professor Xavier, he should be here shortly I already told him what happened well let's just he isn't too happy about it." She said rubbing her arm

"And exactly how is Professor X getting here?" Firestar asked, her question was answered as the wind started pick up only it wasn't wind it was the Blackbird above them.

"Hmmm…that was quick." Spidey stated, he went over Firestar picking her up by her waist and did the same to Jean before making a high jump to where the back door was opened he surprised the Professor.

"Hey there baldly how's it going? It's been awhile since we met in New York."

Jean and Firestar failed to hold in the giggles that were erupting

Xavier eyebrow twitched from the word bald, though there was bigger fish to fry and judging who Spider-Man was carrying this must have been the Hellion Jean was talking about.

"Hello Spider-Man, it's good to see you again. I take it all things are well with you being here." He let Jean and Firestar go though he held on to the other redhead's waist keeping her close to him caused her to blush crimson.

"If you want to say that then yes, everything is going well."

"Professor I don't mean to interrupt but don't you think we should focus on trying to rescue the others?" Jean said

"Quite right, come this way and bring Angelica with to, we have much to discuss." He said

Firestar or Angelica eyes widen in shock, "How…"

"He's telepath…"

Her widen in fear, that gut feeling was back and she knew that this was going to be the longest day of her life.

The Institute Charles Xavier's Studies

Ororo, Spider-Man, Logan and finally Jean gathered in Professor X study in the mansion. Xavier had asked Spider-Man to release Angelica however she didn't need to as the webbing disintegrated with the intense heat of her microwave powers.

"Now that's hot." Peter mused

'Good grief that was the lamest pun I've ever heard.'

'Hey I at least I've got a sense of humor.'

'Then come up with new material!"

'I blame the writer!' He thought

'What writer!'

The connection was lost when Peter saw Firestar taking her mask off, his mouth dropped to the floor when he saw her physical attribute, a rounded face, with curly red hair, and green eyes with a slender body now that he was realizing it, he could feel the heat rise to his cheeks.

'I thought Kitty was cute but this girl takes the cake.'

"Please stop gawking me at me like that." She said

'Though she is a bit shy.'

'Maybe you should date her.' The symbiote hinted with sarcasm

Before Peter replied, Xavier spoke, "Well then Angelica I do not think introductions are necessary since you already who am I."

Angelica stood silent staring neutrally at the man before her

"Take a seat, you are amongst friends." He said, she did as she was told

The unsheathing of claws startled her, Logan came up to her his claws underneath pointing his claws underneath her chin. She grew very pale out of the sight of the man in front of her.

"If you don't tell us we're our team is girl…I promise you…" He had a malice smile on his face, "We're going to having fun with these claws."

She paled ghostly white while sweating cold.

"Logan enough, she was brought here to tell us where the Hellions have taken Scott, Kurt and Katherine not to be intimated by us."

Logan sheathed his claws walking away exiting the room.

"Excuse Logan, he gets a bit unsettle when our students go on misadventures." Angelica did not say anything, "Now please tell me Angelica where are they?"

She inhaled then exhaled deeply, "Boston…they took them to Boston…MA…"

"Very well, Storm get the Blackbird ready and set a course to Massachusetts."

The weather mistress nodded.

"Now then Angelica tell me about yourself so I can help you." Charles said kindly, "And to understand your motive about this mission."

"Very well, I can't keep telepaths out of my mind so I'll tell you my back story and this mission." She sighed in defeat, "I was a 13-year-old high school student who fell victim to a series of misfortunes. I was badly treated by other girls in my school, my beloved grandmother died suddenly from a heart attack, and I was frightened that I discovered that I was manifesting a strange superhuman power to generate great heat. With my grandmother gone, I lived alone with my father, who was unable to cope with helping me deal with this curse."

Tears started form in her eyes, "Confused, lonely, and miserable I had no one I was alone to fend for myself with no support, only with these stupid powers."

Peter felt for the girl, both of them almost had similar backgrounds, falling victim to bullying in school, getting strange powers all of a sudden and finally losing a loved one suddenly. For once in his life Peter could actually relate to someone.

Angelica continued with her story, "Then when I was 14 she found me."

She went silent again, Xavier curious persisted, "And do tell who is SHE?"

"Emma Frost…" She replied
