It had been a few days since Kurt had ran away from Blaine and the Warblers after the disastrous party. Since then Kurt had practically locked himself away in his room, only exiting for food and school. Blaine had been trying to contact him, sent hundreds of text messages, voice mails, anything to get Kurt to talk to him. Kurt couldn't though, he couldn't speak to the man that has known him before he did and not one word was said. It hurt him to know that his fate, his life, and his memories were in their hands the entire time and they just pretended, they pretended the whole time. That was what hurt the most for Kurt. Without even realising it, Kurt was inches away from finding out who he was. That, along with his crazy memories and dreams with his freaky powers, was plaguing his mind repeatedly.

Kurt sat on his bed, clutching the medallion around his neck in his hands. He didn't know why he continued to wear the supposed cursed item but he was just drawn to continue wearing it. Kurt's thoughts were interrupted when a knock sounded on his bedroom door.

"I just want to be alone, Carole," Kurt called out.

A knocked echoed his room again and Kurt rolled his eyes. "Go away, Finn."

"It's not Finn."

Kurt's heard perked up and he decided that he should let them in.

"Fine Rachel, what is it?"

The door quickly opened and closed and Rachel's footsteps came down the stairs. She walked up to him and sat next to him on the bed, looking at him with worried eyes.

"How are you, Kurt?" Rachel asked.

"Finn told you?"

"He mentioned that you came back from the Dalton party crying. You haven't been out of your room except for school and even then you have been distant with all of us. With Regionals tomorrow, I just wanted to make sure that you are okay."

"Don't worry, Rachel, I will be fine for Regionals," Kurt scoffed.

"Kurt, I am worried about you. You are more important to me than Regionals."

Kurt scoffed again and rolled his eyes.

"Seriously Kurt, for the last few months something has been going on and now things have gotten even more strange and worse ever since Blaine and the Warblers walked in. Please tell me what's going on."

"...I can't, Rachel...you won't understand."

"Then make me understand. I want to help."

Kurt was silent after that and just stared down at the medallion has he rotated it in his hands.

"Has it got something to do with your accident?"

Kurt did not respond leaving Rachel time to continue.

"You have been getting flashbacks haven't you?"

Kurt stopped twirling the medallion and looked at his friend. "How did you know?"

"You have been off with the fairies for a while now. I have known for ages but didn't say anything because I know how sensitive you are about it and I wanted you to tell me in your own time."

"And this is my own time?"

"Stop being sarcastic, I'm trying to help. Just let me in, Kurt."

Kurt sighed as he tried to gather his thoughts. "You are right, I have been getting flashbacks, but I didn't know that they were flashbacks until a few days ago. I thought they were dreams, dreams of a guy who always appeared but I could only make out his eyes. As time went on, I saw more and more of the guy and saw other things that didn't really make sense to me."

"Did you manage to see the guy?"

Kurt nodded his head. "It was Blaine."

"Blaine? But how could that be? You only just met the guy, right?"

"Apparently not, I had a dream a few days ago where Blaine sung a song to me and then the night of the Warbler party, Blaine sang that exact same song to me."

"What?"

"I have known him before, Rachel!" Kurt yelled, "We both have met before any of this and he didn't tell me! He has the power to answer my questions, to tell me who I am and he just lied to me, everything was pretend."

"Kurt, I don't know what to say."

"You can't say anything. All the Warblers knew and they all just played along. Why? Why did they keep this from me? Why didn't they tell me?"

"I can't answer that, Kurt. If you want to know the answers to those questions then you are going to have to confront them. I know that you have been dodging their calls, now you have to make the first move if you want to know why. But by the sound of it, they sound like decent guys and wouldn't do this on purpose."

"How can you be saying this? You don't know them. Why are you defending the enemy?"

"Because right now they are not my enemy, they are people who have your past in their hands. If there is anyone that can help you then they are good in my books."

"I was just so close Rachel, so close and I didn't even know it."

Rachel wrapped her arm over Kurt's shoulders and pulled him into a sideways hug.

"I know, Kurt, but I also know that isn't all that you're telling me."

Kurt inhaled quickly from shock. How did she know? Rachel was one of his friends that could always read him like a book, when she wanted to that is.

"You like Blaine, don't you?"

"What?"

"Come on, half the reason why you are so upset by all of this is because Blaine was the one who lied and Blaine is the one that you saw in your dreams and he said nothing. If it were someone else, then sure you would be mad but you wouldn't be crying."

"I don't know...maybe...I haven't thought about it."

"You definitely found him attractive, I know because I did too."

Kurt laughed a little and shoved Rachel away a little.

"Blaine knew about the medallion, didn't he?"

Kurt shrugged his shoulders. "I honestly do not know."

"Well, if we want answers from that little hotty, then I suggest we drop this awful pity party and confront him at Regionals. Obviously we need you today to do last minute rehearsals."

Kurt laughed and decided to follow Rachel's lead. He stood up and quickly washed his face, ridding the dried tears, and grabbed a bag and followed Rachel to her car and headed to rehearsals.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the 2011 glee club regional competition," the announcer said over the auditorium microphone. "It's a brand new season and here Regionals begins the long journey to New York City where these high schoolers hope to one day win a trophy."

"Would you look at all of this, Blaine?" Jeff said as the Warblers walked into the auditorium. "It is better than anything that Venicus has to offer."

Blaine turned to Jeff, whose eyes were wide in amazement as he took everything in.

"It is something," David agreed.

Blaine rolled his eyes and kept on leading his pack to their backstage area.

"It if weren't for you we wouldn't be here, Jeff," Blaine said sarcastically.

"Yeah, thanks Jeff!" Nick said with a smile.

"Thanks Jeff," Blaine grimaced, know one noticing.

"Surely you would have to admit that is pretty awesome, Wes," Jeff said.

"I will admit that this is pretty cool and performing will be fun but we do have a mission, and that is to protect Kurt, especially now that he is out of our close proximity," Wes replied. "In his emotional state he needs protection now more than ever."

"Yeah, remind me why again?" Jeff asked.

"Because Blaine screwed up with the prince and now he doesn't trust us," David answered.

Blaine suddenly stopped, causing the boys to run into his back. He whipped his head around and glared at David and Jeff.

"Blaine," Nick whispered. "We are among humans, no growling!"

Without another word Blaine kept on walking.

"What's got him so riled up?" Jeff whispered to Nick.

"Okay, so here is how today is going to go," Mr Schuester said, standing before his ready glee club. "The Dalton Academy Warblers are up first, followed by us, then finally a club from the Venicus School for the Gifted."

"Wait a minute, Mr Schue," Finn interjected. "That school was never in the program you gave us to begin with. What happened to that school from the deaf or whatever?"

"For some reason they dropped out and Venicus became a late entry," Mr Schue answered.

"Venicus?" Kurt said.

"You've heard of them?" Puck asked.

"I don't know," Kurt replied. "Maybe, I don't know. 'Venicus' just sounds quite familiar to me somehow."

"Well whoever they are they are no match for us," Rachel said confidently.

Kurt suddenly drifted back out of reality again as the others began talking and rattling up their celebratory plans for when they win. Since getting off the bus two hours ago, Kurt had kept deliberately close to his friends afraid that he might run into Blaine and the others by himself. Sure he knew that Rachel was right and he should speak to them to get answers, but he wanted to do it his own way and not by accidently running into them unprepared.

"Alright so we shall open our performance with Rachel, Mercedes and Quinn's song 'Brave' that will rile up the crowd then we will end with Kurt's solo," Mr Shue added, snapping Kurt back to reality.

Kurt simply nodded at the plan as he thought about his own personal plan. Hopefully, by the end of today he shall get his answers and maybe he might finally know who he is.

Unbeknownst to the innocent spectators of the competition, a dark presence fell upon the building like a subtle yet thick cloud. At the back of the auditorium, the doors opened and a small yet smartly dressed group of young men sauntered into the building. The leader's eyes grazed over the crowd, his piercing eyes searching for something or someone.

"Is he here, boss?"

"No," Sebastian replied. "But I know he is here. He and his friends have already signed in and I can smell that god-for-saken fluff ball pack."

"Their scent is all over the place they mustn't have found the Prince either," a vampire said.

"Well, I may know why," Derik said, checking out the two girls giggling as they walked past him. "Who can concentrate when there are delicious specimens around, and of course beautiful ladies."

"Derik," Sebastian hissed quietly. "We can have our little fun later, but right now we need that Prince now while we still can."

"Then maybe we should go now while the young Prince is still standing in the stage wing," another vampire said.

Sebastian whipped his head back around and indeed spotted Kurt standing in the stage wing, watching as stage crews prepared for the Warblers to perform.

"Gentlemen, the time is now," Sebastian smirked.

Kurt stood in the stage wing as he watched some of the crewmen. He really wasn't interested in the work they were doing, he just wanted to quickly search the audience to see if the Warblers had arrived for their curtain call or not. He knew that Carole wouldn't be there as the hospital wouldn't allow her time off for this so he didn't bother searching the crowd for her. Half of him was screaming at him for standing there when he should be preparing his voice while the other half was almost yearning to catch a glimpse of Blaine. Why? He wasn't too sure. Suddenly Kurt felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up and a chill fell upon him causing him to shiver.

"Excuse me"

Kurt jumped out of his skin and turned to find a tall blonde haired guy standing behind him. Kurt's heart immediately started to race rapidly at first glance at the guy but he was too startled to move. The guy was quite good looking, especially dressed up neatly in a dark suit and without a tie almost made Kurt want to swoon over the guy, almost, if it weren't for the terrible gut feeling he had.

'Leave, leave' a voice chanted in his head.

"Um...yes?" Kurt replied, trying to keep his composure.

"I am Sebastian Smythe, leader of the glee club from Venicus School for the Gifted," Sebastian said with a smile as he held out a hand.

"Oh, um, Kurt Hummel," Kurt replied quickly shaking the boy's hand.

"It is a very nice pleasure to meet you, Kurt," Sebastian said, too casually. "My glee club and I just signed in and we don't actually know where to go."

"Well um, you need to find your dressing room and prepare, the stage crew use that place to come get you for your curtain call," Kurt answered.

"Interesting," Sebastian replied. "It is our first competition. You see, Kurt, my friends and I aren't from around here."

"You don't say," Kurt said with suspicion. "Well I have never heard of the Venicus School before."

"Really?" Sebastian's eyebrows rose in surprise. "You have never heard of Venicus?"

"Can't say I have," Kurt lied wanting to end the conversation quickly as possible. There was something about this guy that Kurt couldn't quite put his finger on.

"Well, we are only known to a select few and we are in the middle of a transition of power, you can say."

"You mean you are changing Head Master's?" Kurt questioned.

"Sure. That is quite a piece of jewellery that you are wearing there, Kurt," Sebastian said, nodding to Kurt's medallion.

"What? Oh this?" Kurt picked it up. "Um yeah, had it in my family ever since I can remember."

"I bet you have."

The bell rang out throughout back stage signalling curtain call which gave Kurt the perfect excuse to make a hasty exit.

"Oops, there goes the bell. I better go find my friends and warm up," Kurt said.

Kurt was about to pass Sebastian to leave and find his friends when Sebastian continued to talk, making it difficult for Kurt to leave.

"Where would we find that? Would you be able to show us where?" Sebastian asked.

Kurt sighed. "Look, I would love to help, but I need to go prepare. Ask one of the stage hands."

With that said, Kurt hastily left Sebastian alone as he made his way through the stage crews and left. Sebastian watched Kurt walk away and scowled to himself. He was so close to getting Kurt alone and fate ruined it. His face instantly turned into a frown and out of the shadows, his cousin Derik walked over to him.

"What happened?"

"The Prince got lucky. But I did discover that what your scouts discovered at Dalton were indeed correct. Prince Kurt has no memory of Venicus or anything," Sebastian explained.

"So he has no means to defend himself?" Derik asked.

"So far, no, but we must be very cautious because that medallion, he wore it the night of the raid. I sensed something about it. It must have been the reason why we couldn't smell or find him. Either way, I can sense his vulnerability and I have become a part of his life as an acquaintance. I want him by the end of the day, is that clear?"

"Absolutely, dear cousin."

Once Kurt was out of Sebastian's sight, he immediately bolted to the audience where he found the rest of the glee club sitting in their designated area.

"Kurt, where have you been?" Mercedes asked as Kurt sat down next to her.

"I just ran into someone who gave me the creeps," Kurt replied.

"Who?" Tina asked, overhearing the conversation.

"The lead soloist from the Venicus School for the Gifted."

"Kurt!" Rachel hissed quietly. "What is with you and fraternising with the lead soloists of our competition? You better not be falling for this one like you did Blaine."

"Rach!"

"Oh my gosh!" Mercedes said. "You and Blaine?"

"No, no there is no me and Blaine," Kurt said.

"No there is chemistry there, we all can tell," Tina added.

"Guys," Artie hissed. "It's starting."

The lights in the auditorium dimmed down and the stage lit up and soon the voice over announced the Warblers and there standing front and centre was Blaine.

Kurt's heart sped up again but not the same way it did when he met Sebastian. He felt safer looking at Blaine. To say that their win would be an easy one for the New Directions was an understatement for the moment Blaine started singing, Kurt knew it was going to be close. The Warblers began the competition by singing an acapella version of 'Somebody to You' by The Vamps.

Although Kurt was still a little hurt by the Warbler's lies, he couldn't help by tap his foot to the beat and enjoy their performance. They had very good stage presence and knew how to work the crowd, especially all of the ladies. Kurt did let out a small giggle when he saw Nick and Jeff walk to the edge of the stage and hand two girls a red rose each. Yep, they definitely knew how to work it. Blaine's small solos within the performance did pull on Kurt's heart strings and it was then that he knew he had to confront them, he just had to. Finally, their performance was ended with a solo from Blaine as he took a single spotlight and started singing 'Please Don't Say You Love Me' by Gabrielle Aplin.

Half way through the second performance, Kurt noticed that as the rest of the Warblers sung back up behind Blaine, there was an odd movement coming from Jeff before feeling an overwhelming sensation that sent him goose bumps.

Jeff stood on stage and sung his part flawlessly. He smiled to the crowd, especially when he noticed the New Directions and particularly Kurt. As he looked at Kurt though, he noticed that there was a presence that surrounded him that was never there before. As he sung, Jeff used his telepathy to sense the presence that he was getting. It was a dark aura, one that was left there by another person's presence. Curiosity got the better of Jeff and, normally he wouldn't do this, but he further enhanced his telepathy connection with Kurt and entered the boy's mind. Luckily he had enough of a connection with Kurt currently that he could just tap into his short term memories. What he found he couldn't believe. He searched Kurt's mind and discovered that Kurt was approached mere minutes ago by Sebastian Smythe. The vampires had infiltrated the competition and managed to find Kurt. With all of the people in the auditorium, the vampires were able to use that to their advantage and mask their scent with everyone else's.

Jeff released his connection with Kurt and stumbled back slightly, bumping into David and another human warbler. David kept on singing but gripped onto to Jeff to steady him.

'Jeff, what's going on?' David asked through the telepathic link.

'It's Kurt. I searched his short term memories. The vampires are here, and Sebastian found Kurt. They talked to him. They are here.'

David immediately stopped singing and stared at Jeff in disbelief. He quickly looked around the stage and couldn't find any of the vampires. He couldn't smell them and couldn't look out into the crowd without being blinded by the stage lights.

'Get a hold of yourselves,' Blaine said. 'I can sense you guys from up here. What are you doing?'

'Blaine, we must end this performance now,' Jeff replied.

'Why?'

'The vampires are here!' Jeff answered.

'Blaine, Sebastian found Kurt,' David added.

Luckily there were almost finished with the performance when David said that so when Blaine instantly stopped singing his last sentence, it looked on purpose so that the Warbler's humming and back up singing were sung till the end. Blaine stood there completely stunned as the auditorium was filled with applause and cheers. He didn't stay long to enjoy it for the moment they finished their performance, Blaine, Jeff and David bolted off the stage, dragging a confused Wes and Nick with them.

Kurt watched in confusion as Blaine and his friends ran off stage during the applause. Normally he would think that as rude or inconsiderate but the look of panic on Blaine's face made Kurt think otherwise. He was pulled away when Mercedes started tugging Kurt out of his seat and practically dragged him backstage to prepare for their performance.

As Kurt stood side stage, his nerves started to get the better of him. Just before his que to walk out, Kurt felt someone tap on his shoulder. He turned around to find Blaine and Wes standing behind him, Blaine looking really pale all of a sudden.

"Kurt, we have to talk to you," Blaine said hurriedly.

"Can't it wait? I am about to go on stage."

"No, it can't," Blaine insisted.

"I am still hurt by what you guys did so if you think that I am going to just let my friends down just when you decide that we need to talk then you are sadly mistaken. If you wanted to talk then you are two weeks too late."

"Kurt, please," Blaine begged.

"New Directions, you're on," a crewman called.

"No, Blaine. This is my night and I am not going to let you ruin it," Kurt said.

There was nothing else Blaine could do except watch Kurt walk out onto the stage. The music started playing though the speakers and Kurt and his friends began their dance sequence. Rachel started singing as Mercedes and Quinn danced next to her and the three of them took turns in singing. If it weren't for Blaine's panicked state, he would have been cheering and dancing to their song but the irony of the words at the start made Blaine panic more. Especially when he saw Kurt dancing in his bright purple shirt along with the other's bright coloured outfits.

"Wes, what do we do now?" Blaine asked his Beta, starting to lose control.

"First you need to calm down. Kurt is right, we have to let him have the normalcy of performing. We will just watch from side stage, the pack guarding both the left and right, and then once Kurt is off stage we will explain everything and only then can we protect him."

"For how long? How long can we protect him when the vampires have already found him?"

"We fight Blaine, we fought for him before and we can do it again."

Blaine nodded to his Beta and silently thanked that he was around for him. Blaine looked over at the other side stage and saw David, Nick and Jeff standing guard, all of their eyes on Kurt and keeping an eye out for the vampires.

The Warblers clapped a little when the New Directions finished their rendition of 'Brave' by Sara Bereilles. They did a good job. Soon, the entire stage when dark and for a split second Blaine felt his heart stop before he started up again when the sound of a piano started playing through the darkness. Kurt walked out to the front under a single spotlight and started singing 'Say Something' by A Great Big World.

Say something, I'm giving up on you

I'll be the one, if you want me to

Anywhere I would've followed you

Say something, I'm giving up on you

Blaine watched in amazement as he heard for the first time in a long time, Kurt's beautiful and angelic voice. For some reason, could feel all of the emotion that Kurt had put into writing the song. He then noticed that at an angle, the stage lights shone and revealed that Kurt had tears subtly falling from his eyes, rolling down his cheeks.

And I am feeling so small

It was over my head

I know nothing at all

And I will stumble and fall

I'm still learning to love

Just starting to crawl

Say something, I'm giving up on you

I'll be the one, if you want me to

Anywhere I would've followed you

Say something, I'm giving up on you

A part of Blaine was silently and slowly breaking as Kurt sang his heart out. It felt like Kurt was specifically singing the song to him and was almost begging Kurt to find him.

'I'm right here, Kurt. Just remember and open your eyes. Please don't give up. I'm right here' Blaine begged.

And I will swallow my pride

You're the one that I love

And I'm saying goodbye

Say something, I'm giving up on you

I'll be the one, if you want me to

Anywhere I would've followed you (Oh-oh-oh-oh)

Say something, I'm giving up on you

Blaine felt hot tears slowly run down his cheeks. It was as if a part of Kurt was waiting for Blaine to find him, that he was waiting this whole time and now he has lost faith in ever be found.

Say something, I've giving up on you

Say something...

As soon as Kurt had finished singing, the piano slowly died down as the spotlight slowly faded. Blaine quickly wiped away his tears with the back of his blazer sleeve and started clapping for Kurt. The whole audience erupted in applause, all giving Kurt a standing ovation. Some of the women in the audience wiped tears away from their eyes while others blew their noses. They were all so touched and instantly felt Kurt's emotions throughout the entire song.

"Blaine," Wes said getting Blaine's attention. "It's time."

Blaine nodded his head at Wes. He forced himself to burrow his feelings at the moment, just until they had Kurt under their protection again. Wes and Blaine watched as the other members of New Directions happily walked off stage and congratulated each other. They waited until they noticed Kurt walk off last, subtly wiping tears from his own face.

"Kurt," Wes said.

Kurt stopped short and stared at the two warblers.

"You did a fantastic job," Wes complimented. "The other Warblers and I were just in awe."

Kurt cleared his throat. "Um...thanks, that's nice of you."

"Look, I know you want to go and celebrate with your friends but, can we talk to you? Please?" Wes asked.

Kurt looked at his friends that were heading to the dressing room for a minute before he turned back to Blaine and Wes.

"Sure, I guess it's time. I have a lot of questions that need to be answered," Kurt answered.

"And we would be more than happy to answer them for you," Wes replied.

Wes led Kurt, along with a silent Blaine, to the Warblers dressing room where Nick, Jeff and David were waiting. Luckily for them, the other Warblers were out in talking with other people during the competition's intermission.

"Alright, you guys got me here, now talk," Kurt said, staring at the Warblers as he sat on one of the couches.

"Kurt...we um...don't know where to begin," Nick replied.

"How about telling me why you guys knew me before and never told me?" Kurt suggested. "So, is it true? Have you guys known me before?"

"Um...yes," Jeff answered, his gaze on the floor. "We have met before, all of us."

Kurt let out a breath that he didn't know he held in. Fresh tears started threatening to fall but he pushed them back.

"Why...why didn't you guys tell me? Was this all a game? Was I a terrible friend or person before and you guys thought you could get revenge on me?"

"No!" They all cried.

"No, no that wasn't it at all," David said. "We...we couldn't tell you."

"What do you mean you couldn't tell me?"

"You wouldn't believe us if we told you?" Blaine admitted.

"Oh yeah? Well a lot of crazy things have happened to me lately so I am sure whatever you guys have to tell me wouldn't surprise me."

"I wouldn't be so sure," Jeff replied.

"So tell me, why couldn't you tell me?" Kurt repeated.

"Because we were ordered not to," Blaine answered. "We were ordered by your father."

"M-My...my father?" Kurt stuttered. "I-I have a father?"

"Yes, Kurt," Wes replied. "And he has been missing you like crazy, a lot of people have."

"Then why haven't they come looking for me?" Kurt demanded. "If they love me and I have a family that loved me then why haven't they found me?"

"Because...um..." David began.

"People...um..." Jeff attempted.

"They have been looking for you ever since you disappeared, Kurt," Nick explained. "Something was preventing them from finding you."

"Kurt, we were sent by your father to find you, and now we have," Blaine added. "We were all friends before and we still are."

"But that doesn't make sense, why don't I remember any of this. If I had such a great family and great friends why didn't I remember you when I met you again?" Kurt asked.

"That we can't answer," Wes answered. "Maybe you were hurt pretty bad that you just couldn't remember right away. Surely you have been having flashbacks of us that you believe us, right?"

"That is none of your business!"

"That's a yes," Jeff replied with a smile, earning a scowl from Kurt.

"Where are my family?" Kurt asked.

"They...they are far away," David answered.

"Kurt, you...you are a Prince," Blaine began, forgetting about sugar coating it. "You are a Prince of a kingdom filled with magic. Your father is the King of a place called Venicus and we are bound to protect the royal family, you and your parents."

Kurt sat their stunned, staring blankly at the Warblers.

"You're joking right?" Kurt asked. "You guys are just pulling my leg. Stop lying to me and tell me where my family is!"

"Kurt, we are telling you," Nick said. "You and your family are from Venicus and your father is your family and lives in Venicus."

"It is a magical kingdom where fairies, witches, gargoyles, vampires and wolves all live," David added.

"Stop lying!" Kurt said, tears rolling down his face. "I hate you all! Why are you doing this to me?"

"Because you asked us for the truth, Kurt," Jeff answered. "You wanted the truth so here it is. The truth is, is that we are werewolves! Werewolves have sworn allegiance to you and you are our leader and our future for a peaceful existence."

"You are a witch, Kurt, a witch with powerful magic and royal blood coursing through your veins," Blaine said. "You were born a Prince and you are destined to be King."

"If that were true then why don't I remember?"

"You tell us!" Nick yelled.

"Kurt, you told us that you were found unconscious and beaten one night outside a hospital, correct?" Blaine said.

Kurt nodded his head in reply.

"Kurt, magical creatures once lived amongst humans until a war broke out between an evil group of vampires known as the Brothers of Blood started attacking humans. Your ancestors saved the humans and created a new, dimension if you will, where all magical creatures could live in peace and leave the humans in peace. Your ancestors became the royal family," Blaine continued. "For generations we all have lived in peace, but now some modern followers of the Brothers of Blood are beginning an uprising to you and your father."

"I don't want to hear it," Kurt interrupted.

"But you need to hear it, Kurt," Blaine replied. "One night, during a royal ball you and your parents were hosting, an evil vampire named Cedric crashed the party and he and his followers caused a siege against the palace. It was my job to protect you, and your father put me in charge of you and your mother's safety. Everything safe was destroyed and my only option was to send you and your mother to Earth. I made you a portal but a few vampires found you and I ran out to protect you. I was knocked out and when I came to, your mother was on the ground and a vampire held you by the neck, you were in a bad shape. I tried to protect you but he threw you into the portal. No one saw you again Kurt, not until you tapped me on the shoulder that day on the Dalton staircase."

Tears were rolling down some of the Warbler's eyes after Blaine finally revealed what went down the night Kurt went missing.

"We spent every waking minute finding you Kurt. A lot of people thought you were dead but we never gave up hope. What kept us so long from finding you, was the medallion that you are wearing. It has protective properties that concealed you and your powers away, preventing the vampires from finding you, and inadvertently us from finding you."

Kurt sat on the seat silently for a minute as he let all of the information sink in.

"That's some pretty far-fetched story that you guys made up there," Kurt finally said.

"No, it's all true, Kurt," David said.

"Kurt, we are here to protect you," Nick added. "The Brothers of Blood are trying to defeat your father and his kingdom by finding you."

"Kurt, you have to believe us when we tell you that there are bad people after you, trying to use you for your powers. Vampires are after you, Kurt. We've got to beat them. If we want lasting peace, we're going to have to find a way to beat the Brothers of Blood once and for all and keep you safe," Blaine added.

"We don't want the same thing that happened to Venicus happen again. All of magic and the mortal world would be destroyed. We found the Prince and now we can stand up to them so that there is a future to look forward to," Wes said.

"Yeah, all together! United as one!" Jeff cheered.

"You all are crazy!" Kurt yelled. "You expect me to believe that you are werewolves and that you and vampires exist? That I am heir to a magical world?" Kurt laughs. "I can't even remember what I did last week, let alone remember these outrageous stories you are telling me. Count me out! I don't want to fight whatever war exists in your heads!"

"Kurt, you don't mean that," Nick tried to reason. "We know that deep down you believe us. You're our leader now; we need you."

" And you're the Prince of Venicus, the rightful ruler to the throne," Blaine added.

"I don't care. Somebody else can do it," Kurt said, head in his hands.

"Come on, Kurt, it's your destiny! This is what you were born for, to protect your people, to protect the whole magical kingdom," David said.

"I am not, David!" Kurt yelled, jumping from his seat in a rage. "I mean I can barely handle being poor sad Kurt Hummel, now the Prince of Venicus too. I can't do this! You all are insane! This is insane!"

"You're just tired, Kurt. You just need some time to let this all sink in," Jeff insisted.

"I don't want any of this to sink in!" Kurt continued to rage. "I just want to be a normal teenager! Can any of you guys understand that? My name is Kurt, not Prince of Venicus, Royal Highness, not royal anything! You guys have the wrong person! You are trying to convince me because I have no memories, an easy target, well I won't let you. You guys are not my friends if you fill my head with these lies!"

"No, Kurt, please, you have to trust us," Blaine begged, placing a gentle hand on Kurt's shoulder.

"Get your hands off me!" Kurt yelled, almost shoving Blaine's hand away. "Stay back, all of you!"

Kurt could feel something bubbling up inside of him that he couldn't control. He looked at the Warblers and when Blaine tried walking towards him again, Kurt cried out and a bright bolt of energy shot out of his hands. The bolt hit Blaine and the boys and threw them hard against the wall on the other side of the room.

Kurt gasped in horror and stared down at his hands. "No...no...what have I done?"

Blaine groaned in pain and stared at Kurt, trying to calm him down. "Kurt...it's okay..."

"No...stay back..." Kurt said in fear. He looked down at his medallion and he ripped it off his neck. "It's this stupid thing," he yelled before throwing the medallion against the wall. "You all did something to me...I have to leave."

Before any of the others could stop him, Kurt threw open the dressing room door and started running for his life.

"Kurt!" Blaine yelled. "Kurt, come back!"

In his distressed state, Kurt ran out of backstage and through the auditorium, unbeknownst to him, passing the group of vampires hiding in the shadows. They watched as he ran out of the auditorium crying and out onto the streets.

"It is time, gentlemen," Sebastian said with a smirk. "The hunt is on."
