AN: hi guys, sorry for not updating recently. I have been pretty busy, what with school, a horrible brother and my grandmother having a stroke. I am sorry for the short chapter but hopefully i will be able to update sooner after this.

Percy's POV

The revelation sent me reeling. The world went black, i felt myself falling.

Sally/Chaos's POV

"He fainted." i said "oh dear."

"I don't get it." I heard Poseidon murmur. "How did he fall? He was sitting down!"

"It is impossible." i said, walking over to Poseidon's throne and sitting on his knee "unfortunately, doing the impossible is something our son excels at."

"Don't i know," he murmured, wrapping his strong arms around me.

"Easy tiger," i purred, "we should wait until he leaves"

"Of course" he says, than as if in afterthought, "Regarding our sons throne, we should really install a seat belt"

I laughed. "That might not be too bad of an idea."

We both turned our attention to the floor where Percy began to stir.

"Oh gods," he groaned, pulling himself to a sitting position his head down in his hands "i just dreamed that chaos was Sally." He stood up still looking down.

He looked up at us, "I-"

Thud

"Really?" Poseidon asked, "Again?"

"Yes" i agreed, "Again."

2 fainting spells later ~ Percy's POV

"Explain." i said. "First how are you my mother"

"I always have been"

I gave the signal to go on

"When Poseidon and i both wanted a child, we realized we did not want that child to be bound by the ancient laws"

"To achieve this," Chaos said, "i had to merge with a mortal"

"I found a pure soul, Sally's soul. She was in mortal danger, unable to survive infancy. In order to save her, i offered to merge with her..."

"So… in your true form, are you a man or a woman"

"I have no such limitations," she said "i prefer to live as a female, but Zeus wouldn't take me seriously in this form. To avoid having to peel a drama queen pancake off the walls, i take my male form when dealing with the olympians"

I took a minute to take this all in "So then why reveal this now" i said

"Your sister Ananke loved you as soon as she saw you after you were born, she still loves you" she said "she changed destiny to your benefit. You see, the way she made it, none of your close friends were meant to die."

"WHAT!? The fates changed destiny to kill my friends! Those hags!"

"I know son," she said "to fix this your father supported your brother, staging a betrayal."

"Why?"

"The ancient laws say that i can only help a child of mine if they feel betrayed by their other parent."

"I see" i mulled this over. Realizing the implications, i turned to my father "i forgive you"

I embraced my father who had tears in his eyes. When i let go so did i.

I turned to my parents. "Together you two have given me another chance." i said "i would be a fool to waste it."

Line Break

Percy's POV

I walked up half blood hill already knowing what to expect.

A satyr sprinted up the hill, still behind me, a demigod over his shoulder in a fireman's carry. On second thought, due to my respect for artemis i will refer to it as a fireperson's carry. GENDER EQUALITY!

I saw the two mechanical bulls chasing them, but something was off about them. I couldn't tell what. Gods! Why do i feel that every time i come to camp i fight a bull. Sighing, I opened a portal to the infirmary in front of the satyr, closing it behind him.

I turned to the bulls and charged, drawing protean as i bolted forward.

I may be the most powerful demigod of all time, but these things were huge. This presented a disadvantage that i had to work around. Oh well.

I slammed a fist into the closest one, sending it grinding to a halt. The other one whizzed past me. It would take a bit for it to turn around; i had about 20 seconds to finish this one.

I hacked off a horn and rolled to the side to avoid the remaining one. I waited for it to thrust again before rolling under it, protean extended, cutting it in half. I had 15 second left before i calculated the other bull would be on me.

I turned around just in time to be slammed back 60 feet into an oak tree by the remaining Colchis bull. I looked up groggily at the bull that was currently charging at me, horns lowered.

I finally realized what was off about them. They were bigger, with sharper horns and now featured sharpened hooves for which to more effectively trample me. I saw the reason that i was on the ground; they had more joints in their spines, hips and shoulders allowing for more agility and quicker turning.

I was still dazed. What's this? The great son of chaos, dazed? Yep. i challenge you to be hit by a 5 ton bull moving at 20 miles per hour, thrusting its horns at impact at an additional 50 miles per hour and not be at least dazed.

I braced for impact, the bull 3 second away when i heard a voice i wanted to hear for some time now.

I saw a large shape tackle the bull, yelling a war cry. "PEANUT BUTTER!"
