Sorry for the long wait as I was stuck in a bit of a rut called Writer's Block and hopefully it won't bother me any more at the moment.

Chapter 10
*Hospital*
Sakura slowly opened her eyes to be blinded by bright, hazy lights as many thoughts ran through her head. Where was she? What's going on? Was she dead? Sakura could hear voices around her, but she couldn't make out what was being said.
"…lucky girl…"
"…have died…"
"…save her leg…"
"…sive blood loss…"
Sakura groaned as she put a hand to her head as she was feeling dizzy and light headed. She was about to get up when a gentle hand carefully pushed her down and had said something but the rosette couldn't catch all of it. Maybe I should just get some more rest, Sakura thought as somehow sleep did sound like a good idea. Ino was sitting next to Sakura hospital bed as she watched her close friend close her eyes into blissful sleep.
It was horrible. The whole trip to the hospital was incredibly long, even with the help of Dr. Light and Rush, as so many thoughts ran through the blonde's mind. She and Asuma knew that Kakashi was just suffering from exhaustion and would recover in about a week or so, but Sakura? Even though they had bandaged the wound and sealed Sakura's severed leg, who knows exactly HOW long the rosette was like that.
Too bad we were too late, Ino thought as the doctor had told her and Asuma that Sakura was extremely lucky to even be alive after looking over her injuries, but sadly sad that they couldn't save the rosette's leg due to the amount of blood loss within the time frame. The doctors were a bit surprise at how well preserved the leg looked, but further examination showed much more damages from small cuts to deep gashes to even electrical damages. It was as if this girl was standing next to a giant light bulb as it blew up from a massive overload of electricity! Even the severing cut on the limb was sealed with only a few openings from whatever had severed it…most likely some sort of blade. Ino felt sick as everything that the doctor had told her kept running through her head like an annoying, yet catchy song. "I'm so sorry, Sakura," Ino whispered as she ran a hand through her friend's pink hair, "I wish this didn't have to happen to you."
Asuma sat next to Kakashi as his colleague lay awake with the blanket covering his lower face. "Heard anything from Shikamaru and Choji?" Kakashi asked as he was hesitantly curious about what had happened after he had passed out. "Not yet, Kakashi," said Asuma as he shook his head, "but I'm afraid to say that Sakura's not going to make a fully recovery. She faced off against Sasuke and lost badly as she lost a leg during the fight." Letting out a sigh, Kakashi looked at the ceiling and thought, Once again, I'm being punished for my foolish mistakes…Minato-sensei…please forgive me.
*Dr. Light's Laboratory*
Rock was sitting near the small chamber that held a sleeping Kinzoku as the stasis chamber was helping the cyborg with his injuries. The robot was still thinking about what had happened back at Dr. Wily's lab and how everything had quickly gone down the drain so badly…
Flashback (Rock's P.O.V.)
*Dr. Wily's Laboratory*
I remember how Kinzoku looked at the young boy before us with a look of realization and horror. I remember the other boy and Dr. Wily calling him Sasuke as well as the look on Sasuke's face as he held the Evil Energy. He must have recovered it somehow as I warned him about what the Evil Energy could do to him. He had transformed into some sort of vampire-like creature before my eyes and he had a chilling aura around him.
Sasuke then began to talk about his desire for power and to restore his honor by killing Naruto as a form of revenge. Something inside of me was telling me that Sasuke was far more dangerous than all of the enemies that I have faced before combined! For once in my life…I actually wanted to kill a human out of sheer terror.
The sound of breaking glass alerted me to Sasuke with the Evil Energy swirling around him as the young teen laughed at the danger he was in. The Evil Energy then formed a dark dome around Sasuke and began to pull everything inside as if it was a black hole. Everything was being sucked in and absorbed by the Evil Energy until I saw Dr. Wily getting pulled closer. I grabbed his arm while still myself from being absorbed by the Evil Energy.
I had never seen such fear on Dr. Wily's face as I recognized it as pure terror. He begged me to save him from that dark fate and I held on tightly and even begged him to hold on for dear life. I heard Wily's shoulder pop out of place as the suction was becoming stronger by the second and I was using a lot of my strength to keep myself from being pulled in to avoid such a fate. That was when it happened…
"Mega Man," Dr. Wily called out to me, "let go of me…" The tone in his voice was different than his normal defiant voice whenever I've captured him from those few times as this tone sounded…somber and repenting. I looked at him and saw a rare look on his face as it was a face that I've only seen on Dr. Light…a stoic face of determination and acceptance. "I cannot let that boy…" Wily said before pausing for a moment, "no…that monster become any more powerful because of my mistake. Take Kinzoku and the others and get away from here so that you may have a chance of stopping whatever is created by that fool." I heard a dark chuckle as Dr. Wily then said, "Kind of ironic that I had actually found someone who is just as foolish as I. Of course, I only wanted to get back at Thomas for what had happened all those years ago, but I never wanted to kill him. No, I just wanted to ruin his life like he done to me. That thing is just a hollow shell of what it used to be…a boy." I couldn't believe what I was hearing and at first I thought it was just another one of his acts, but the other boy that had trapped him placed a hand on my shoulder and gave me that look. I wanted to defy the both of them, but Dr. Wily then gently smiled as he said, "Do not worry about me, Rock…I will try my best to at least hold him back. Albert Wily has always been a stubborn bastard."
Before I knew it, Dr. Wily had punched me in the face and stunned me for a moment as my grip on him was loosened. I called out to the mad doctor, but I saw him get absorbed by the dome along with more debris until a bright light shone. When the light had died down, there before us stood a completely different being. It was Sasuke, but he know had thick black hair sticking from the top of his head that looked like large, curved horns, he had six metal wings in the form of bat wings sticking from his back, his hands and feet were now demonic looking claws and talons from the metal he absorbed, a long metallic tail was moving around behind him with a tri-pronged claw slowly turning around and lightly scratching the air, and his eyes…his eyes were black with a blood red six-pointed star acting as the iris with the pupil right in the center of the star. It was something that not even nightmares could come close to.
Dark laughter echoed through the room as Sasuke then looked at us with a pure psychotic grin with his eyes paralyzing us where we stood. "Yes," he said as he looked at his now sharp and deadly claws, "I can feel the power coursing through me veins…such power. Now I can finally destroy…no…I can finally erase that dobe's existence from the world! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Sasuke then took another look at us before he then said, "Now to test out this power…ON YOU!"
It took a lot for us to force our bodies to move so that we could avoid getting burned alive from the black fire that erupted from Sasuke's right eye and combined with the fire that erupted from Sasuke's mouth. I saw the boy that had trapped Dr. Wily a moment ago throw shuriken and knives at Sasuke, but they were deflected as the monstrosity used his wings as a shield before Sasuke charged towards him. The boy dodged just in time as Sasuke slammed his claw into the ground with an explosion erupting from the contact. I aimed my Buster Gun at Sasuke, but I couldn't fire as he was still a human and I knew that Dr. Wily was somehow still there. I felt myself get tossed as Sasuke grabbed my arm with his tail and threw me away and into a wall. I got back to my feet as I saw Kinzoku trying to stand on his feet with his recovered sword in his hand, but he fell to one knee with Roll trying to help him back up.
I rushed towards Sasuke in an attempt to tackle him so that Roll, Kinzoku, and that other boy could get away, but that plan failed as Sasuke grabbed me by the throat before slamming me into the ground, cratering the floor we were on. and I thought it was over until a huge red boulder was smashed into Sasuke, freeing me from his grip. I sat up to see the red boulder somehow shrinking into the form of an overweight teenaged boy wearing red clothing and some sort of armor similar to samurai armor. "You alright?" the boy asked as he helped up to my feet. I nodded as I watched the battle continue as Sasuke was still blasting fire at the other boy as the overweight teen joined in. This fight was impossible to win in our current state as I felt drained from my fight with Wily earlier and this new fight was becoming more dangerous by the second…I had no choice but to call a retreat. Dr. Light was able to teleport us away to safety, but I knew that it wasn't going to be the last time we would see Sasuke.
End Flashback
*Dr. Light's Laboratory*
(Normal P.O.V.)
Rock moved a hand through his hair as the images of what Sasuke had become were still haunting him. How could someone fall so far? Rock mentally asked himself as he remembered how some humans falling into a life of crime due to either greed or even at times having no other choice. Not even all of the philosophers could give Rock the answers he was looking for as he wondered what Sasuke was once like. The many questions made his cybernetic brain whir like mad as Rock tried to make sense of things involving Sasuke.
"Rock," said a voice as Rock looked to find Roll stepping into the lab as she was wearing a nightgown, "Why not get some rest, I'll keep an eye on Kinzoku." Rock smiled as sleep did sound good after such a long day and maybe some rest might help him find the answers that he was looking for. "Alright," said Rock as he got up from his seat and gave his sister a hug, "Good night, Roll. Glad you're safe."
Roll watched as her brother left the lab before turning her attention to the sleeping cyborg in the stasis pod. "Hey Kenny," said Roll as she gently placed a hand on the pod's glass dome, "How are you feeling?" Silence answered Roll's question as the robot maid pulled the chair next to the pod and took a seat. "I know you've already forgiven me for this," Roll said as she lightly hung her head in shame, "but I'm really sorry about what I had said to you that day. I was upset that you had lied to me and my denial had taken control and made me say all that and slap you. Rock had told me about how you regained some of your memories when we had visitors that were looking for Naruto. Seems like you're getting closer to finding out who were once were before becoming…becoming a cyborg." Resting her forehead against the glass, Roll continued talking to the unconscious Kinzoku, "I want to help you rediscover who you are, but…but I think a part of me is afraid of what might happen once you regain all of your memories. Would you still be the Kenny that I know and love, or will you leave and try to rebuild your previous life? Would you…forget me? Forget your two friends, Kiho and Ningyo?"
Roll looked up to see that her face was leveled with the black briefs that protected whatever was left of the cyborg's modesty. "S-s-sorry," Roll said with a blush on her face as she leaned back on her seat and looked to see if anyone had caught her. Even though she tried to get the image out of her head, more, perverted images entered Roll's mind as she and Rock were more human that most robots. Sure all robots can speak and act human, but Roll and her brother were actually more human both mentally and physically as they could do things that no other robots could do.
Roll then saw a pile of books nearby and decided to keep Kinzoku some company as she picked up one of the books. Of all books to pick up, the robot maid saw that it was a thick book of the forbidden romance novels where the main character would go against the norms of society as they fall in love with the outcast of society. "I hope that we can have our own little forbidden romance, Kenny," said Roll as she began to read the book before imagining herself as a royal princess that falls in love with a dirt poor bandit, "You are my Romeo while I am your Juliet."
Ningyo had arrived in the lab to find that Roll had fallen asleep with her head against the dome glass of the stasis pod and chuckled at how cute the scene looked. "Hey Kenny," Ningyo quietly said as she approached the pod, "I'm glad to see that you're alright. We're doing alright and Dr. Light had offered us a place here with him and said that you are still recovering your memories." Placing a hand on the glass dome over Kinzoku's whiskered face, Ningyo then said, "I've somehow seen myself as a sister to you as I have seen some of your more vulnerable moments. I am willing to let Roll here have another chance as I hate to see someone as strong as yourself become so…weak." Ningyo kissed the glass over the cyborg's forehead and said, "Good night and I love you, my little brother."
*Apartment; Room 10*
Asuma and his team sat in the room as they recalled what all had happened. "The Hokage's not going to like how Sasuke had gone rogue during the mission," Asuma said as he sat next to an open window with his cigarette hanging out the window. "Yeah," said Shikamaru as he and Choji had Mega Man to thank for helping them get away from the monster that Sasuke had transformed into, "but now Sasuke is more dangerous than he was during his attempted defection. Choji and I just got lucky that Mega Man teleported us away in time."
"I know," Ino sadly said as she remembered how Sakura had looked when they found her, "What are we going to do now?" Asuma took in a drag before blowing the smoke out the window as he then said, "Well, we'll have to report this to the Hokage and since the Civilian Council along with Danzo and Dad's old advisors have been executed, more than likely we are going to have to kill Sasuke Uchiha and hopefully recover his Sharingan eyes…but with how Shikamaru and Choji explained what happened, I'm not sure if we could get close enough to even harm Sasuke without the aid of ANBU."
"What about Mega Man?" Choji asked with curiosity, "I've heard about how he can face any adversary and somehow take them down despite the odds at times." Shikamaru looked at his close friend and said, "While that does sound like a good idea, Mega Man couldn't do anything due to the Laws of Robotics forbidding robots from harming humans."
"But Sasuke isn't exactly all human anymore," Ino said, reminding everyone about the Uchiha's new condition, "so Mega Man wouldn't get into trouble by fighting him." Shikamaru shook his head as he then countered, "True, but Dr. Light, Mega Man's creator, had told me that Mega Man and Roll can actually think for themselves unlike other robots, meaning that those two also have human morality."
"What of Kinzoku?" Asuma then asked as Shikamaru and Choji had told him about the cyborg, "Since he's a cyborg, he can avoid that law." Shikamaru ran a hand through his unbound hair and said, "I'm not exactly sure about what the Laws of Robotics saying about cyborgs aside that a human can only have a certain percentage of their body being replaced by prosthetics, but even that is limited to arms and legs."
"Anyway," said Asuma as he snuffed out the cigarette into the ashtray, "the hospital is going to release Kakashi as he was only suffering from minor cuts and bruises along with heavy exhaustion, but they still want us to keep an eye on him. They're going to keep Sakura a little bit longer with Kakashi as her acting guardian so that she could get some extra treatment before asking her about getting a prosthetic." Ino sadly nodded as she remembered how Sakura acted when she finally woke up and discovered that her leg was gone. It pained Ino as she watched her close friend become a blubbering mess saying how life was making her pay for the abuse she had put Naruto through. "Once Kakashi's out of the hospital," Asuma continued as he got up from his seat, "we'll head towards Dr. Light's laboratory and see if he could either help us or help Kinzoku regain some of his memories. Kakashi has mentioned that Ino could go inside Kinzoku's mind and see about reconstructing a few pieces of the cyborg's memories."
"Would that work though?" Shikamaru asked as he wasn't sure about if it was possible for the Yamanaka's mind jutsus could work on Kinzoku. Asuma shrugged as he said, "Won't know until we try? Well, good night." Asuma's students said their good nights before getting comfortable and going to sleep in preparations for tomorrow.
*Dr. Wily's Laboratory*
Sasuke was at the computer, looking over the blueprints for some of Dr. Wily's weapons and plans. Thanks to absorbing the doctor through the Evil Energy, Sasuke now had the mad doctor's brilliance and skills in robotics as he had created his own troops after scrapping Wily's old Robot Masters and reforming them into his own personal soldiers that he called the Uchiha RoNin. Unlike the ronin who have lost their masters, the Uchiha RoNin were actually Robot Ninjas, hence RoNin, that were highly skilled with their own unique weaponry and ninjutsu.
Sasuke had even reformed the doctor's lab into his own image to reflect the true Uchiha pride by replacing all of Dr. Wily's logos with the Uchiha Clan symbol and reforming the skulls into Sasuke's own face to show those who would dare intrude who they were messing with. All of the Uchiha RoNin and the smaller robots were fitted with metal plates that carried the Uchiha Clan symbol to show their allegiance to him. "Soon," said Sasuke as he studied more of the blueprints presented to him on the screen, "I will show the whole world the true power of the Uchiha Clan as they tremble before me!"
Sasuke then looked at the headband that once belonged to Naruto as he then said, "Once I find you, Naruto Uzumaki, I WILL destroy you and erase you from this world forever as I will become unstoppable…even to someone like you." The Uchiha cyborg grabbed the headband as he shut off the computer and flew off into a different part of his lab where the legs of a giant robot stood with smaller robots working on it. "In mere moments, the Susano-O will be ready to unleash upon the fools in the city so that they could see my might," Sasuke said as he flew around the giant legs to observe its construction, "and once they see what they are up against, I will have them as my slaves to rule under my thumb once I destroy ALL opposition…starting with Mega Man and Naruto." Laughter echoed through the laboratory as Bass and Proto Man were hidden in some of the scrap piles that couldn't be used for the giant robot.
The two of them were the only ones to escape the fate that the Robot Masters had gone through. "We need to stop him," said Bass as he wanted to blast Sasuke so that he could become stronger. "I know," said Proto Man as he placed a hand on Bass's shoulder, "but we can't stop him without help. We may have to seek out Dr. Light." Bass growled before relenting as his colleague had a point: if they confronted Sasuke now, the two of them would be destroyed and turned into another one of the RoNin. "Alright," said Bass as he noticed a few robots taking the useless scraps to the junkyard, "we'll seek out help, but I'm not going to Dr. Light. Treble and I are going our own way." Proto Man nodded as he knew that Bass wouldn't seek help from a human as the robot would see it as being weak and insulting.
Little did Proto Man know, Bass was going to seek out help from a human but it wasn't going to be Dr. Light or any other robotics engineer. I hope he is willing to help me with this, Bass thought as he kept damning his own pride for stooping to such a level, For once, I am willing to move my pride aside and go to a human for assistance. Sasuke nor his robots noticed the two figures climbing into the carts filled with junk that was heading towards the junkyard before making their escape to seek out aid.
Who will Bass seek out for aid against this new Sasuke? Will Kinzoku recall any more of his memories? Don't forget to rate and review.
