Chapter 11

Malyn stepped out of the shower feeling fresh and rejuvenated she looked over at the bed and saw kakarot lying on his back with both arms folded underneath his head and his eyes closed

"Are you awake? She asked him

"Yes" He said

"I can't tell sometimes it's really creepy" She murmured

Kakarot opened his eyes and began watching her as she got dressed but the feel of is glare was even more intense and ire than her trying to guess whether he is asleep or not.

"Maybe you should close your eyes, I think I like that better" She suggested

And kakarot smiled and got up out of the bed and went into the shower he gently stroked her shoulder as he passed her by and she smiled and watched him disappear into the showers. Then she left the room she walked down the hall of the hotel and knocked on one of the doors at the end of the hall

"Good morning Kay" She said as Kay answered her door

"Don't you look miserable" Kay greeted her "Didn't Kakarot come to see you? She asked "I could have sworn I saw his squad came in last night"

"Yeah they did and He came to see me" Malyn replied "But when I went into his bag for a capsule that he had asked me to get I saw that letter again"

"The letter from his slave? Kay asked "Yeah" Malyn said "He has had it for the last five years he carries it everywhere when will he move on from her" Malyn was angry and even more so hurt it had been two years since she started sleeping with kakarot and he doesn't seem to care he just takes her and leaves. Not to mention he goes out of his way to make sure she doesn't get pregnant as if she is not good enough to have his baby, At least that's how she feels.

"Look Lyn you know I want to be sympathetic but I can't after the war started and I was with kakarot on that planet where he took those new soldiers to train I fell in love with him but he wouldn't have it. I think it was my years as King Vegeta's slave" Kay told her friend "So I wish I could care more about your pain but I don't"

"What is your point Kay?

"My point is it is not just you Kakarot has been unhappy since his slave left I think she was his first love and it is not easy for saiyans to let go of anything ones they get attached to it"

Malyn thought for a moment and she realized that what kay has said was true, but just because Chichi was kakarot's first love it doesn't mean she can be his only love. She can make kakarot love her too but they hardly see each other because of the war with Cooler he will leave and it would be months before they meet again. Time was not on her side it seems.

Kay and Malyn had breakfast and later watched kakarot left the hotel to go back to his squadron. Malyn has grown to love kakarot so much she can't bare the thought of losing him but he doesn't love her she is just for his needs. And that is something she was going to have to change.

It was another beautiful and quiet day a lot of the people on the new planet finds it boring sometimes but there is only a few things that Chichi enjoyed more than a peaceful day. Chichi sat by her favorite tree enjoying a cool breeze and her favorite book, since leaving planet vegeta reading has become her new hobby. She was in the midst of her story when she heard Tia shouting as she came stumbling out from behind some trees.

"Monkey boy" She repeatedly shouted "Chichi where is monkey boy?

"I do not know" Chichi softly said and tried getting back to her reading.

"He is probably hiding in the trees from me I can't manage him sometimes" Tia added and came and sat next to chichi.

They sat quietly for a moment before Tia broke the Ice "So are you going to Kishime? She looked over at Chichi with a smile

"No" Chichi simple said and Tia laughed it had been a little over two years since bulma and others started traveling to Kishime a nearby planet for supplies and most people have gone and come back to new Earth but Chichi refuses to go she just feels safe here and she thinks the moment she let her guard down she will regret it.

"Well monkey boy wants to go with me and bulma but he is afraid to ask you"

Chichi sigh she loves her son nicknamed monkey boy because of his saiyan tail, but she constantly worry about him she knows that he is a powerful little saiyan even if he is just a little over four years old and with Bulma and the rest of the gang going she knows Gohan would be in good hands.

"I'll think about it" Chichi told Tia who replied by hugging her worry some friend.

"Chichi you need to have more fun and stop waiting for the other shoe to drop" Tia held chichi by the hand try to make her understand she cannot live her life waiting for the sky to fall.

"Chichi with the satellites bulma have camouflaging the planet no one knows we are here ships pass by all the time but the just see the debris of a destroyed planet and we can't be picked up by scanners. Something bad might happen to us like it did before we can't stop that, but don't you want good memories to hold on to through the hard times".

Tia smiles at chichi which encouraged her to smile back Chichi knew she was right she really shouldn't spend her life waiting for the other shoe to drop. She has to start having more fun and forget about the pain of the past.

"You're right Tia" She said with enthusiasm "I think I will let Gohan go with you guys and see what that planet is like everyone always talk about how much fun it is. I think he will enjoy the excitement" Chichi and Tia got up and head towards the home Chichi has been sharing with her son they don't know what the future holds but they will being enjoying themselves when it comes.

Kakarot was getting tired of waiting for Vegeta to arrive his new King was supposed to be here two days ago but he got delayed and said he would arrive today but there was still no sign of him. And Kakarot could not stand the wait he was very much enjoying the meals he was having though. He had been to this planet a while back but he never visited this restaurant he had heard about it and wanted to come but he just never got the time. Now he is sitting here waiting for vegeta and getting anxious to know what he had missed since he left the fleet and went back to planet vegeta.

"There you are kakarot" Raditz said "Your lucky you wearing your scouter otherwise I would have wasted a lot of time tracking you down"

Raditz pulled up a seat next to his brother and order a meal for himself he was so glad to be off the ship he had felt so suffocated during the long voyage.

"How was that planet you all went to? Kakarot asked his older brother

"Nothing but weaklings and useless whores this is all that bitch bulma's fault we use to be the greatest race in the universe but after her manipulation she has destroyed us" Raditz said as he clench his fist in anger

"It is not bulma's fault we're having such a hard time finding allies we destroyed a lot of strong races that would have been useful to us but because we were working for frieza he didn't want anyone that could be a threat to him around. We brought this on ourselves we were no better than the ice Jin and that is why we are so hated throughout the universe" Raditz listen to his brother but was too blinded by his anger to admit he was right.

Anyone in the universe who knows of the saiyans hated them and would not join forces with them in their war against cooler and all the planets that the saiyans have not angered are races too weak to be of any use those were just slaves who haven't been captured yet. Kakarot and Raditz ate their meal and then left to see vegeta.

Bulma strapped Gohan in his seat and then she went over to sit with Launch and Tia the ladies really wanted chichi to come shopping with them on Kishime but she just refuse to leave the safety of new Earth chichi had always been so brave but becoming a mother as made her five times as careful of everything. She thinks about every possible outcome before making even a single a step. It was too bad she would have had so much fun shopping with her friends and seeing her son having a good time on his first big outing.

Chichi sat alone at home eating a snack when she heard the doorbell ring

"Andrew" She said in surprise "What are you doing here? She asked

"I hear your friends all left and I just thought we could talk"

"Oh" Chichi then sigh things have been so awkward between her and Andrew for months she knew they would have to clear the air sooner or later

"Yeah" Chichi signal for him to come in and Andrew came in and sat down. Chichi sat next to him on the couch and the both awkwardly smiled at each other.

"Look Andrew" Chichi said "Things doesn't have to be weird because you and bulma got drunk and slept together on Kishime it really doesn't bother me"

"Thanks Chichi" Andrew said and hang his head down "That made me feel so much worse" Chichi looked at him with a confused look on her face

"I'm sorry" She apologized unsure of what else to say "Don't be chichi" He said "It's my fault I wasn't that drunk" He sigh and then looked up at her and said

"For the past five years I have been there for and your baby and I have been patient hoping that maybe there was still a chance for us, but I was and idiot thinking we could go back to where we were after all that has happened" Andrew looked away unable to look at chichi face

"I slept with bulma because you said you didn't love and we had no future together. I thought you would care even a little bit but you don't"

Chichi felt so sorry for Andrew

"Andrew I swear that day was one of the hardest day of my life. I love you so much, but I am not in love with you and I don't think I will ever love you the way you want me to" Chichi looked over at Andrew and sigh

"I know" He said softly "I know now you and we are completely over I love you too princess, but I am glad you had the courage to tell me what I needed to hear. It will be hard but I will get over you and move on someday"

"Good" Chichi said and took Andrew by the hand they snuggled together on the couch "Andrew" Chichi whispered "Yes" He answered "Let's always be friends I don't want to lose you completely"

Andrew smiled at chichi and kissed her on the forehead. And they both sat in silence comforting each other.

Kakarot and vegeta sat together after their meeting. The silence was so ire but they as saiyans and warriors have felt worst. Kakarot stood by the window staring out at the sunset while his king sat at the small table having a drink.

"What will you do when we get back? Kakarot asked

"What do you mean? Vegeta asked him

"Your father retuned to planet vegeta 3 months ago" He said

"I know" Vegeta answered

"You spared his life years ago and banished him from the planet. Why didn't you kill him? Kakarot walked over to the table and sat on the opposite end.

"Because you can't humiliate the dead" Was vegeta crude response "If I had killed him I wouldn't have been able to inflict all the pain and humiliation I have caused him in these years"

"He is a serpent vegeta I don't think it good to keep him around" Vegeta smiled at kakarot's concerned and said "I won't under estimate my father I know all too well what he is capable of I will be careful"

Vegeta took a sip of his drink then continued "Besides now that cold and frieza are dead my father has no allies left, and I doubt he has been plotting with cooler I would have heard about it from my contacts"

"Well" Kakarot said "We should still be careful you didn't just take your fathers kingdom after he betrayed us you took his pride and honor. He has hurt you for far less"

Kakarot and vegeta stared at each other as if they were reading each other's minds then looked away"

Raditz sat outside his ship drinking and laughing with a few of his comrades when he noticed a ship flew over it looked similar to the ones they used the ones bulma had designed but there was also a lot of difference so he ignored it, and continued with his evening.

Bulma and the others stepped out of the ship and on to the planet that they had found so much help, fun, trouble and good times over the last few years. But tonight they were just hear to check into a hotel get some sleep and wake up to a day of shopping and adventure tomorrow.

"This is going to such a good trip" Tia said "You got that right launched responded

"Come on Gohan" Bulma said and took him by the hand they walked off and headed to their usual hotel

"We didn't forget anything did we? Bulma asked

"If we did we'll just buy a new one here" Launched said and they all laughed

"This is going to be a lot of fun" Gohan added he had been wanting to come to this planet since the first time they all went but his worrisome mother always said no but now he was here looking forward to having lots of fun and seeing everything .

"I'm glad chichi sent him" Tia said she was going to do all she could to make sure Gohan had a great time on his first big trip.
