I hold on to Peter tight as we swing from building to building on his webs, with the wind running through my hair and making my nose run a bit. We finally land in a dark alleyway, but Peter flips me across his back and holds me into his arms, but doesn't let go of me.
"Peter, put me down."
"Make me."
"It's kind of hard to make you do anything if you're holding me like this."
"I'm to afraid to put you down because you might knock me out, slugger." He says, and I giggle as I start thrashing around. Suddenly, Peter drops me, and I let out a yell as the falling sensation shocks me into not putting my legs down, but Peter catches me once again with his keen reflexes before I can hit the ground. I hold on to his neck in a choke hold and look at him with wide eyes, saying, "Never EVER do that EVER Peter!" He laughs and says, "Sorry, babe."
"Don't call me babe."
"Love?" I shake my head
"Sweetums?" I make a face.
"Sugar Ass?" I let out a burst of laughter and I pull his mask off and ruffle his hair into it's usual gravity-defying poofy style. He puts me down and I stand on my tiptoes to make my lips meet his but I hear a sudden crash behind us.
Both our heads spin towards the trash cans that are now laying against the floor with their stinky contents splayed all across the alley's dark floor, revealing the person who was unexpectedly hiding behind them.
"PHILIP? WHAT THE HELL!" I yell in fury, releasing myself from Peter's embrace and storming over to him. He backs up against the wall while just staring at Peter in disbelief.
"Y-y-you're SPIDERMAN?" He yells in disbelief, and Peter swiftly webs his mouth shut. I grab Philip and punch him repeatedly all over his face as Peter quickly pulls his mask on again, my eyes filled with absolute undiluted rage. Peter pulls me off him and holds me back.
"HOW THE HELL DID YOU KNOW WHERE I AM?" I yell at him, while Peter restrains me as I try to get to him again to knock his stupid head of his shoulders. Philip rips the webbing off of his mouth and stares at me in disbelief.
"Peter Parker is Spiderman?" Philip repeats, his voice tinted with utter disbelief. Peter quickly pulls his mask back on and asks Philip, "How did you find out where we are, Philip." in his most Spiderman-y assertive tone.
"I-I-I..." Philip stutters, taking in Peter's intimidating appearance and squishing himself up the wall.
"Answer the question." Peter says, letting go of me and walking up to where Philip is cowering against the wall at an inhuman pace. Philip whispers something incoherent that I don't hear, but Peter apparently does, because he yells, "WHAT?" in rage, and grabs Philip by his shirt collar and holds him up against the wall.
"What'd he say?" I ask, and Philip mumbles something again, and Peter yells, "SAY IT LOUDER," his voice full of fury.
"I bugged your phone, and I see your exact location on mine." Philip says, his face growing progressively redder.
"WHAT?" I yell, running over to him and grabbing his phone from his hand where he held it unnoticeably. I tap the screen and it lights up to show a detailed 3-D map and a red dot, indicating exactly where I'm standing in the zoomed in alleyway. I take my phone out and throw it across the alley, and the red dot blinks into another spot.
"I-I saw you moving really fast from your room really high up, so I got curious and followed you."
"YOU WERE WAITING OUTSIDE HER ROOM?" Spiderman bellows in rage, and I put my hand against his arm and gesture for him to quiet down. We don't need any more unwanted attention.
"Yes," Philip says in a whisper filled with fear, "I wanted to go up and apologize for the flower thing, b-b-b-but I didn't have the courage." Spiderman slams him against the wall with bone-crushing force, then drops him to the ground, where Philip lands in a lumpy heap.
"How did you follow us this fast?" I ask quietly, still absorbing the fact that Philip is truly a dangerous stalker. Philip lies in a heap, shaking really hard. "Answer her." Spiderman states, his voice dry.
"I used t-t-this," Philip says through blubbery tears, reaching into backpack and pulling out a rectangular object and handing it to me. Spiderman snatches it and inspects it, and in one swift move, he jerks it so hard it falls apart into a pile of scooter pieces. Philip lets out a little yelp but quickly shuts up when I shoot him the most poisonous look I can muster through my shock.
"Okay, buddy boy, listen up." Spiderman says, grabbing him once again and pulling him up effortlessly onto his feet. "You will leave my girlfriend alone. At first I thought you where some harmless pathetic freshman, but this is an arrest-able offense that could get you prison time. Leave. Gwen. Alone." He says, grabbing Philip's phone out of my hand and crushing it on the inside of his palm.
Philip looks up with a spiteful glare in his eye.
"I won't leave her alone, and you can't make me." He says, his voice filled with a sudden burst of confidence, "Because I can and probably will reveal the mysterious Spiderman's true identity."
"Not if I get you arrested." I pipe in.
"Spiderman can't arrest me, and you just crushed any proof you might have had just now!" He exclaims, straightening up a bit and raising his head to make eye-contact with me, which sends a shiver down my spine. But I step forward and say, "But you seem to be forgetting that my father was the HEAD of the NYPD, and I could have you in handcuffs on your doorstep by tomorrow morning by making a few calls."
"He was the chief of police." Philip replies. My face immediately falls and I try to hold back tears. Spiderman suddenly fires a web at Philip and pulls him forcefully forward, making him fall on his face as he drags him towards where he's standing.
"That's enough, you filthy piece of scum. You just blew ANY chances of me showing you mercy. So listen up. If I ever find you near Gwen Stacey again, I will come after you. If I catch word of someone leaking the words "Peter Parker" and "Spiderman" in the same sentence ANYWHERE, I will come after you. And I can assure you, me coming after you will NOT have a pretty outcome." Spiderman says, his voice dead serious.
"GOT THAT?" He yell menacingly, and Philip lets out a wail. Spiderman picks him up and throws him into the middle of the street. "GO HOME AND I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE ANYWHERE NEAR GWEN AGAIN!" Spiderman yells, as Philip picks himself off the floor's tarmac and runs out of the way of an oncoming speeding car and towards the direction of his house.
When Philip runs out of sight, Peter tears his mask off and looks at me as I try to compose myself and not let all my absolute anger show on my face.
"Gwen, you okay?" He whispers, approaching me.
"Definitely not."
