Superman was flying in space, listening for any disturbances on Earth. Suddenly, he heard a small group of screams somewhere in New York. He quickly flew down to the disturbance and found a group of thugs being torn apart by a short man in a blue and yellow costume with razor-sharp claws that appeared to be made out of metal. He stabbed the last thug in the chest with all his claws before retracting them and dropping the man. "What have you done?" Superman demanded.

Wolverine turned to face him, looking back at the bodies before looking back at the man of steel. "These punks have been running around the streets like they owned the place, robbing people left and right. No shortage of bodies in their wake, either. I did the world a favor." He said.

"This isn't the way. You could've arrested them or had the police deal with them. You didn't have to kill them." Superman scolded.

"That's how I do things. Get used to it." Wolverine replied rather uncaringly.

"I think not. You're coming with me." Superman said as he landed.

"I've got two words to reply to that. Hell. No." Wolverine said, first extending the claws on his right hand, then the ones on his left.

"Then you leave me no choice." Superman said.

Superman rushed forward and grabbed Wolverine by the throat, hoping to end it quickly simply by punching him in the face, but he made a critical error: Wolverine's claws. He assumed they were a regular type of metal that couldn't hurt him, but he was wrong. Wolverine stabbed him in the stomach with his claws. Superman grunted in pain and tossed Wolverine back through the wall, as he knew the fall from the building wasn't enough to kill anyone, but it would do some decent damage. He flew upwards both to get eyes on Wolverine and get closer to the sun, healing the wounds he received from the Immortal Man. He looked down and was shocked to see Wolverine standing once again. And not only that, he was more than capable of continuing to fight.

"I heal REAL fast." Logan said with a smirk. Superman fired his heat vision at Wolverine, who managed to block it with his claws and even deflect it back at Superman, hitting him in the chest and making him stop. Superman glared at his enemy, whose claws were still intact and now super-heated from the heat vision. Even more surprisingly, Logan then jumped high enough to reach Superman, slashing with his claws, but Superman managed to avoid the barrage of strikes. Fortunately for him, however, Wolverine couldn't fly and gravity dragged him back to the ground.

Superman then landed a good distance away from Logan and tried to draw him in with his super-breath, but Wolverine simply stabbed his claws into the ground and held himself in place. Luckily Superman had planned for this while he was in the sky. (There's clearly metal inside of him, so my ice-breath should be able to hold him still.) He thought. He then blew freezing cold air at the x-man, managing to freeze him solid just below the neck. "That should hold you still for a while." He said.

"Dammit. What did you do to me?!" Logan asked, struggling, but it was as if his bones were completely locked in place.

"I froze you solid. I figured the metal inside your body would become stiffer and lock you in place if I did so. Good night." He said, rushing forward and punching Logan in the face, knocking him out instantly.

End music

"Now then, like I said, you're coming with me." Superman said.

"Sorry, but I don't think so." A new voice said. Suddenly, a puff of blue smoke appeared and Superman was kicked in the face by what looked like a blue devil, staggering him slightly. "Come on, Logan, let's go." Nightcrawler said, grabbing him and disappearing with him.

Superman looked around, but they were gone. "Damn. I need to figure out who those two were. They may be on my side, but they're killing the people they go up against. I can't allow that." He said, flying away.

Analysis:

1: Wolverine LITERALLY only had one advantage: his adamantium claws. Superman has been damaged by Titanium weapons before, so a stronger metal such as adamantium would easily be able to cut into or otherwise damage him. And he has been able to block and deflect both Iron Man's repulsor blasts and Cyclop's optic blasts in the past, so he'd be able to do the same to Superman's heat vision. However, this turns into a weakness when Superman uses his ice-breath, as metal stiffens and becomes less flexible when cold.

2: Superman had every other advantage against Logan: Strength, speed, durability and even healing, as enough exposure to the sun will quickly heal him of any injury that isn't fatal.

3: Superman has knocked out beings on par with him with only a single punch, so of course he'd be able to do the same to him.
