A/N: So sorry that I didn't get this up Christmas Eve like I wanted to. I admit that I was writing a one-shot. But here it is anyway, and I have a New Year's Eve one coming up. ;)

Whips And Kisses: Part 2

Bright and early the next morning, Kendall and Logan were up and working on the shortbread train. All was peaceful...until Logan accidentally dropped the stainless still measuring cups on the floor. The clatter resonated throughout the apartment.

"Shhhh!" Kendall yelled at the items still rolling on their edges across the tile.

"Sorry!" Logan whispered. They finally stilled them and waited to see if Carlos and James would come running. It would be difficult to keep either one of them from eating the candies if they did.

They diligently worked until they had a finished masterpiece sitting before them. 的t's the best Christmas thing I ever made,Kendall said.

"We ever made,Logan corrected. "But, Most of the credit goes to you. You found the design, figured out the ingredients, and...well I kind of got in the way more than I helped."

Kendall saw the icing all over Logan's pajamas and laughed. "Nah! You were good company," Kendall said. "You made it more fun."

Logan looked down, embarrassed. "I don't know about that, but I have one last present I need to go buy. I'll be back soon, so there will still be time for me to help out some more with dinner. Need me to pick anything else up?"

Kendall came around the counter and put his arm around him."Yeah," he whispered. His warm breath tickled his ear, and Logan's eyes fluttered.

"Okaaay, what?" he asked, looking up at him expectantly.

"That present you wanted to give me before, not the new one you're planning to replace it with. Promise me?"

"Wait-what?" Logan asked.

"You heard me. I want it-them-whatever, because it or they is something that came from your heart. You said you were too embarrassed to buy whatever it was, and I want you to prove that it doesn't matter what other people think."

Logan opened his mouth to speak, a slight blush tinting his cheeks, "But-"

"Shhh," Kendall warned, "Including Jett. All right?"

"How did you know that I was thinking about that?"

Kendall just smiled. "Because I know you. So he teases us, who cares? When he asked me why I bought you cologne last Christmas, I said because I knew it would smell delicious on you!"

"You what? He must have wondered about that! No wonder he kept looking at me like that!"

Kendall shrugged. "Don't care. And, if he asks me about whatever this is you're planning to give me, guess what I'm going to say?"

"I'm terrified to find out," Logan said with a grimace.

Kendall laughed. "I'm going to say; 'he bought something that he thinks will make me look delicious' and I won't blink an eye!" He grabbed Logan and held him close, brushing his powder-sugared cheek against his.

Logan swatted him away, laughing. Logan saw that James and Carlos were standing right behind Kendall, staring and big-eyed. "Um...Kendall?" Logan croaked.

"Yes, my little Logumms?" he teased.

"You're being very silly!" Logan huffed, giggling nervously and puffing his cheeks full of air as he pointed at the intruders. "AND, Carlos and James are wondering why," he finished in a high voice and a small cough. He wasn't sure how they were ever going to explain this one.

Kendall spun around. "Why is everyone always sneaking up on us like that?!"

Both boys raised palms defensively." Hey! This is noooone of my business!" James said.

Carlos was shaking his head as if trying to get the image out there. 'Me neither!"

"Can't anyone be in a good mood, and have a little silly fun around here?" Kendall asked, looking from them, back to Logan. Logan just stared.

James walked over to take a look at the finished train." Awesome!"

"Don't touch!" Kendall warned, putting himself between James and the train.

"Yes, mom," James muttered.

Carlos hopped over and stared in awe too. "Wow! It's incredible! You two did this?"

"Yes we did, Carlos," Logan said proudly. "Well, mostly Kendall, but I kept him company," he said using Kendall's own words.

"I bet you did, Logumms!" James said with a big smile.

Logan groaned. He would never hear the end of it. Their good-natured flirting had caused enough raised eyebrows. Which reminded him, they still had to convince Jo and Camille that they hadn't lost their minds after their surprise visit the previous night.

"You guys know how we are-"

"Uh-uh-uh! What you guys do in private is no concern of mine. No need to explain," James continued, covering his ears.

Logan just shook his head, and Kendall smiled coyly. "Anyway, Logan be sure to be back by six, okay? I'm going to take a shower and then start the ham."

"Deal," Logan said, heading to get his coat and keys.

"You're going out in pajamas?" Kendall asked.

Logan slowly looked down. "Oh...yeah. I'll just throw on some sweats, then run a quick errand," he said, disappearing down the hall.

"Seems like you got Logan a little flustered," Carlos said, shoveling a handful of left-over chocolate chips into his mouth.

"Maybe," Kendall mused. "When he's gone I'm going to make my surprise."

"Do we want to know what that is?" James asked warily.

"The mini-him, remember?" Kendall whispered.

"Oh," James laughed, picturing the chocolate-kiss hair.

They watched Logan attempt to leave for the second time. "Bye," he said awkwardly as they all three stared.

"Bye", they chorused.

"What? No kiss, Kendall?" Carlos asked. Logan slammed the door indignantly.

"Way to go, Carlos," Kendall scolded.

Kendall felt refreshed after his shower, and sang as he towel-dried his hair. He turned on his electric razor and grazed his chin to remove the five o'clock shadow. He really couldn't help but wonder what Logan was buying him from Victoria's Secret.

By the time he came out of the bathroom, James and Carlos had actually straightened up the apartment, made the beds, and even set the banquet table. Now that they weren't all depending on his mom to do everything, they had seemed to mature a bit.

"Looks good." He tugged the dark green sweater over his head.

"We figured that you and Logan have done enough with the baking and decorating, and all, so we wanted to help out."

"Good, now I can get started on the ham."

He went to the neat and tidy kitchen and started the meal. Logan walked in, breathlessly wielding a shopping bag that said Victoria's Secret on the side.

"You did it!" Carlos exclaimed.

"I did," Logan said with a crooked grin. He whistled as he went to the tree and placed the dress box underneath. "I see you are all ready for tonight, and you look very nice I might add. I'm going to jump in the shower and get ready, too."

"Thanks, and okay," Kendall said happily, unable to tear his eyes away from the mysterious package he'd left.

Logan frowned. "You won't peek, will you?" he asked, wagging a finger at him.

"Me? Phfft! Of course not!"

"Watch him, guys!" he said. He resumed whistling as he went into the bathroom to take his shower.

Kendall was still eyeing the package. "Do you know what it actually is?" he whispered to the other two.

"Yep! And, I'm not telling," Carlos said smugly, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I have no idea," James admitted.

Kendall went back to cooking, but he couldn't get the present off his mind. What had he done? Maybe he should have let Logan change his mind and buy him a practical gift. This one was making him too curious. He sighed. But, then again, his gift for Logan this year was anything but typical.

Logan came out from his shower wearing a red sweater and black cords. "I'm here and ready to help," he said.

"Now, who looks great," Kendall said appreciatively.

"Hey, I'm wearing my Christmas sweater too!" Carlos said. They looked at the Rudolph sweater he was wearing from his Grandma.

"I see that, and you look very nice, Carlos," Logan said.

Everyone arrived on time, and the first thing Katie did when she walked in was place her extravagant gingerbread Palmwoods right in the center of the table. As expected, everyone oohed and ahhed, including Kendall and Logan. It was fantastic but Kendall knew that theirs was even better, and he couldn't help but smile to himself.

"What are you up to, Kendall?" Katie asked wisely.

"Nothing, baby sister."

"Where's your dessert?" she demanded to know.

"I will bring it out later."

"That bad, huh?" she said with a snicker.

Gustavo slammed a basket of gourmet chocolates down on the counter. "It smells actually-good in here," he said in amazement.

"I never doubted you could pull it off," Jo said affectionately, kissing her boyfriend on the cheek. She went to place a dress box under the tree.

"And, I suppose you did your part as well?" Camille asked, kissing Logan fully on the mouth with finesse.

"I did some," he said, gasping for air, but leaning in to accept another kiss. She handed him a box too. "I'll just-um put this under the tree too," he said, lightly shaking it as he went. Something to wear...he guessed.

"It looks great, boys," Mrs. Knight said. I have to say, I'm really proud of how mature you boys are becoming."

"Thanks, mom."

Jett ran a hand through his gelled hair and took a seat. "When do we eat? I'm famished." he said.

"Just as soon as we slice this!" Kendall said, setting the perfectly baked ham in the center of the table next to Katie's gingerbread.

"Have you boys been taking classes with Martha Stewart?" Kelly asked, laughing.

Mrs. Knight unwrapped her green bean casserole and salads, and laid them out. They all passed around the plates until everyone had their fill.

"I have to say, that was one of the best home-cooked meals I've ever tasted," Gustavo said looking rather surprised. He rubbed his ample belly. Everyone agreed.

"Let's have hot cocoa and dessert then, shall we?" James said, eager to end the meal so he could play some games.

"Wait!" Kendall said. He went to the cabinet and Logan jumped up to help. Everyone waited to see what they were bringing out.

Together they brought out the train, and set it on the table where the other dishes had just been cleared away. Everyone gasped and Katie's jaw dropped. The shimmering confection was absolutely incredible. It even had little people on board.

"That's you Katie, holding the packages," Kendall said, pointing her likeness out.

"Hey, and is that me with the great hair?" Jett asked.

"It is."

"Whoa... that's-that's, well I don't think I've ever seen anything like it," Bitters said. He smiled when he found that he was the one driving the train. "Hey, I'm an engineer!"

Logan leaned closer, studying a figure that he'd just noticed hanging on to the caboose. "Is that-"

"You?" Kendall finished. "Yes." He smiled. "And here's mom, Jo, Camille, Gustavo, Kelly, James, also with great hair I might add, and Carlos."

"I'm on top of the train!" Carlos squealed.

"You win, bro," Katie said.

"Well, it's not about the competition little sis, it's about the challenge. And now, I'm one for what is it? Ten?"

Katie laughed. "I guess I can live with that. Now, give me mini Katie. She looks good enough to eat."

After none of them could force another bite, they migrated to the sofa and anywhere they could find a place to sit which mainly consisted of the floor.

"Open our gifts, guys!" Camille insisted.

"I actually prefer to wait until morning," Logan said.

"But, we won't be here in the morning to see your faces," she said with a pout.

"I could call you?" Logan tried.

"Aw, come on. Open them," Jo insisted.

Kendall went to the tree. "Which one is it?" he asked.

"This one," Jo said, handing him a package.

Camille retrieved hers, and gave it to Logan. "Okay, but we are waiting to open the rest until tomorrow, okay?"

"Fine."

Kendall tore his open, and lifted the lid at about the same time Logan opened his. Both boys blushed. Kendall lifted out a pair of plaid silk boxers. Why on earth had she made him open those in front of everyone?

"Thanks, Jo!" he said, shoving everything back into the tissue. Jo wore a look of shock on her face.

"Ummm, thanks Camille," Logan said, shoving his back in as well. She looked puzzled.

"Do you like the scarf?" she asked.

"Scarf?" Logan repeated. He had not seen a scarf in the box.

"And don't your like my present?" Jo asked, looking hurt.

"Of course! I can always use them!" Kendall said with a nervous giggle.

"Them? It's a personalized guitar strap, Kendall. You didn't even bother to look at it!" She picked up the box and slowly pulled out two pairs of silk boxers. Her eyebrows shot up. "Who bought you these?! I'll kill her!"

Kendall shrugged and looked at his mom. Camille went to Logan's box and pulled out the gift he had shoved back in. "A pair of silk lounge pants? And I'm going to kill her!"

Both boys looked at each other with wide eyes. "I-I," Logan stammered. James and Carlos were busy laughing. They both realized that there had been a mix-up.

"What is happening here?" Gustavo wanted to know.

"I bought the pants for Logan," Kendall finally said. He didn't want Jo to think he was seeing another girl.

"And...I bought the boxers for Kendall," Logan admitted, biting his lip uncomfortably.

"Really?" Camille said. "Why?"

"Yeah, why?!" Jett asked.

"Do you mind, Jett?" Kendall said, throwing him a glare.

"Logan bought you fancy silk boxers," Jo said."And all I got you was a stupid guitar strap."

"No, no! It's not stupid at all!" Kendall cried, hugging her tightly. "I love my guitar strap!"

"But you haven't even seen it yet," she reminded him.

"Just as soon as I find it," he said, rummaging through the gifts.

"Kendall got you fancy silk pants, and I just got you a dumb old scarf," Camille whined.

"Camille, I'm sure I'm going to love it! I bet it's red! I love red! See I'm wearing a red sweater!" Logan said from down on all fours, reading the tags to find the correct box.

"It's gray," she said sadly.

"Gray is good too! I love gray!" he said.

With the gifts finally found and opened, Kendall immediately placed the strap around his shoulder and chest. 典his will look great with my guitar! He gave her a loud kiss.

Logan already had the scarf around his neck. "This will look terrific with with my black coat, too! Thank you, Camille!" He kissed her unresponsive lips.

Everyone left after a last round of hugs and well wishes. Exhausted, Kendall closed the door and leaned against it. He blew his bangs back from his eyes.

Logan just looked at him from where he sat on the sofa, looking a bit ill. "Well, that was...rather awkward."

"Yeah," Kendall said. "But...I really want to thank you now that were alone. I love my boxers."

"You're welcome. And, I love my pajama pants. Thank you."

Kendall sat beside him, grateful to have the privacy now that James and Carlos had gone to get ready for bed. "Look, we may have freaked everyone out a little bit, but I still don't care."

Logan was quiet for a moment as he looked into his friend's sincere emerald eyes. "Me neither. And, I'm happy with what I have. Camille, my friends, and you."

A slow crooked grin spread across Kendall's face, making his dimples show. "And I'm grateful for a few things too. Jo, my friends, the fact that my shortbread train was way more awesome than Katie's gingerbread Palmwoods, and most of all...you." They hugged and were still hugging when Kendall suddenly laughed.

"What?" Logan asked.

"It could have been way worse."

"How?"

"I could have given you a box full of whips, and you could have given me a bunch of kisses!"

"Awwww!" James and Carlos choruse, peeking around the wall.

"Stop sneaking up on us!" they both shouted, laughing when they had their roommates scurrying back down the hall to their room.

That is that. A bit short and ambiguous, I know. (:

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas, and that you will continue to enjoy the season.

xoxo,
