Greek mythology is back with the second part of God of KiGo. Like I said last time this should only be three or four chapters long for Shego's flashback. However I want to end her flash back sequence by next chapter so we can get back to the main story line. Anyway let's see what happens to the amazons outside of their home land of Themiscyra.

I do not own the Kim Possible Characters, they belong solely to Disney, and this is for entertainment purposes only.

Ch. 10 The Amazon and The Athenian

The next day

Shego awoke to find that her dream last night was just that, a dream. She had dreamt of being with Kim. She missed the Athenian, however she knew she would be with her soon. Even if she didn't have the blessings of the gods anymore she had her mother's blessing, which to her mattered more.

She got up from where she was resting and walked up onto the deck. She looked out to see the sky was a beautiful blue as well with the waters being calm. The last thing she needed was for Poseidon to try and interfere with her quest to find Kim.

Looking around she found that the other amazons were busy on the ship, but she was looking for her aunt Antiope. She found her near the ship's bow. She was busy looking out at the sea as well, no doubt wondering what she was going to do with her new found freedom.

"I see that you are awake, did you sleep well?" Antiope asked as she was able to sense her niece's presence.

"Hardly, all I want is for us to reach Athens. Are you sure we are heading the right way?" She asked.

"Calm down." Antiope said with a chuckle. "You'll be with your precious amazon soon enough. I've been to Athens twice and I'm sure we are heading in the right direction." She said as she turned to face Shego.

"Land!" One of the amazons said, making the others look ahead.

"See? I told you." Antiope said as she placed her hand on Shego's shoulder, giving her niece a reassuring smile.

Shego returned the smile, she just had to wait a few minutes.

"Princess Shego!" An amazon called out to her.

Shego turned to see one of the soldiers running up to her. "What is it?" Shego asked as she and the others wanted to know what was going on.

"I spotted something in the sea, I think it is a sea serpent." She told the demi god.

"Sea serpent?" Shego repeated to which the amazon nodded. "Where?" She asked.

The soldier pointed towards the ships stern. "I spotted it a ways off." She said.

Shego walked over and peered off into the distance, like Kim being a demi god had its perks, and she scanned the area looking for any signs of the serpent. Just when she was about to give up looking she spotted it. Long tendril like coils breached the surface for a brief second before disappearing.

"What do you see?" Antiope asked.

"There is definitely something out there." Shego answered. "I want all hands down below the deck. Muster all the strength that you have, I'll signal to the others to do the same." Shego told Antiope.

Antiope nodded, and she took all the amazons down below deck. Shego walked over and began to wave her hands to catch the attention of the other amazons on the ship. An amazon waved back showing that she saw Shego.

"Tell your sisters that I said to have all hands below deck!" She shouted.

The amazon nodded and conveyed Shego's message. Shego watched as the amazons save for a few went below deck. With majority below deck, they began to row faster, pushing the ships along the sea quicker towards Athens.

However below the surface a creature was quickly making its towards the two boats. The creature had eight tentacle like arms, similar to that of the kraken, except the beast head was filled with rows upon rows of razor sharp teeth. It eyes glowed a demonic yellow as it swam closer to the amazons ships.

Shego looked back to see something from the deep getting closer. They were going as fast their combined strength could take them but it wasn't fast enough it seems.

Suddenly the ship began to rock as Shego was thrown off her feet. She got up quickly to see that the ships were rowing, but they were not going anywhere.

"What's going on?" Shego shouted as she questioned one of the amazons from the other ship.

"I don't know, I think we've snagged something." The amazon shouted back.

"More like something snagged us." She mumbled.

Shego stumbled again as the ship moved again, this time moving backwards. "What the fuck?" Shego muttered.

"Princess." An amazon called out.

Shego ran over to her location at the ship's stern. "What is it?"

"We're being pulled in by that whirlpool." She pointed out.

Shego looked ahead of them, and indeed there was a whirlpool pulling them in. It was gigantic and if something wasn't done, they would become its next victim.

"Tell everyone to row as fast as their strength can muster." She ordered the amazon.

The amazon nodded and ran below deck. Shego looked up towards the sails. The wind was blowing, but not hard enough to get them away from the whirlpool. Shego looked over to the other ship to see that it was closer to being pulled in by the whirlpool.

Shego looked around and spotted some rope. She grabbed it and ran to the ships side.

"Quickly toss the rope!" She called out.

Acting quickly the amazons tossed over their ropes, and Shego worked quickly to tie them together. She moved the ropes to the ships stern and tied them there, hoping to pull the ship free from the whirlpool.

"Shego!" A voice called out to her.

Shego turned to see her aunt Antiope quickly running up to her.

"It's no use, we can't escape from it." Antiope told her.

"Keep trying, we didn't leave Themiscyra to end up at the bottom of the sea." Shego said.

Antiope looked over to see the ropes that Shego tied together linking the two ships. "Shego that'll never work, at this rate both ships will be in." Antiope said.

Shego looked over to see that both ships were still being pulled in. She sucked her teeth before she made a break for the ropes. She quickly used them as a bridge as she crossed over to the other ship.

"Princess Shego, what are you doing?" One of the soldiers asked.

"I'm going to help you row this ship to safety, now come on." She said as she began to make her way below deck.

The ship rocked again and Shego grabbed on to the mast, using it as support as the bow of the ship began to tilt upward. Looking back Shego could see into the whirlpool. She heard a growl coming deep from within and as she gazed into it, she saw the glowing yellow eyes of a creature.

"Shego what do we do, we're about to be dragged under!" A soldier called out as she began to panic.

"Make your way over to the other ship at once!" She ordered.

Wasting no time, the amazons crossed over on the rope. About ten amazons made it over, before the next ten began to cross. The bow of the ship tilted upwards some more, rocking the ropes and making some of the amazons fall into the water.

Shego watched as they were quickly pulled into the whirlpool.

"Shego!" One of the amazon's said as they grabbed her hand. "Go on, cross back over."

"I will after everyone else does." She told her soldier.

"There is no time, if we wait any longer everyone else will die." She told the amazon princess.

Shego grabbed the amazon. "Don't question me, just do as I say!" She told her.

The soldier responded by punching Shego in her stomach. "Forgive me princess, this is the only way." She said.

Shego stepped back some clutching her stomach. She was still going to protest when she grabbed by two other amazon warriors. They held her by her arms and legs so she could not flail about as they carried their princess to safety.

"Put me down!" Shego demanded when they made it back over to her ship.

They let her down as she had requested many times. Shego was about to run back over, but was stopped by Antiope. Shego looked into the eyes of her aunt, her eyes telling her she had done the best that she could.

Antiope looked back to the other amazons, as they all exchanged their final glances. One soldier nodded to Antiope, who responded with a nod of her own. Pulling out her sword, Antiope cut the ropes that tied the two ships together, and watched as the ship and the remaining thirty five amazons were pulled into the whirlpool.

Shego looked away, as she fought back her tears. She felt so weak that she couldn't save all of her amazon sisters. Antiope was shaken as well, but she had to make sure they got to Athens safely. She rallied the other amazons together and with all of their strength combined they were able to escape the whirlpool's grasp.

About fifteen minutes later they reached the port of Athens. The citizens watched as the amazon ship docked, and more than fifty plus women walked off of it.

"Here you are dear niece, Athens." Antiope said to her.

"I just wish the others could have made it here with us." Shego said.

Antiope embraced her niece. "As do I, but they gave their lives so that we may live. They died with their honor intact, like true amazons." She told her. "Now go and find your Athenian, while we gather our belongings." Antiope told her.

Shego nodded. She looked around and could see the faces of the locals as they watched the amazons began moving about. Shego's face twisted with disgust as she saw the lecherous grins of the men that watched them.

"Be careful dear aunt, I do not trust these men. If they can be called that." Shego said.

Antiope nodded, and Shego walked off to see if she could find where Kim stayed. She walked around the port, first seeing if she could spot the Athenian on her own, but quickly grew frustrated with results.

Shego walked up to a merchant, the man was trying to sell the fish that he caught earlier. Upon noticing Shego his jaw dropped. He has seen a lot of beautiful women, but none as refined and elegant as the one that stood before him.

"How may I be of service madam?" He said with a smile.

"I'm looking for someone, I imagine her too be well known here in Athens, as I have traveled a long way to see her." Shego said.

"Just who might you be referring to?" he asked.

"She is the general of the Athenian army, she goes by the name of Kim." Shego told him.

"Ah, you seek the Possible family home?" he asked, to which Shego nodded. "If that's who you're looking for, you need only to head north. Their home is a big one, almost like a palace." He said.

"A palace you say?" Shego said with much intrigue, now she had to see this "palace" for herself.

Shego thanked the man for his hospitality and began her way north. If he was right she would run straight into the Athenians home. Ten minutes passed by, and though Shego would have liked to have reached Kim's home by now, she knew that it was going to take some time to reach her lover.

Shego looked around, there were definitely more buildings here than there were back on Themiscyra. It saddened Shego a bit, when she thought of her mother. Never before has she actually been separated from Hippolyta before, and this was her first time out on her own.

Shego turned and walked down an alley, using it as a shortcut to move around the crowded town of citizens. However as she neared the end a large man stood in her path. He was a muscular man, he had a full beard, black in color. He reeked of the smell of fish. Shego looked behind her to see three other men approaching her as well, they were muscular as well, and like the man in front had the stench of fish on them as well.

Shego quickly surmised that they were from the docks, which meant that they had followed her and were waiting for an opportune moment to catch her alone.

"Do you have business with me?" She asked, as she eyed the man in front of her.

"We couldn't help but notice that you seemed a little lost." The man told her.

"Yeah, and we couldn't let a gorgeous woman such as yourself walk around Athens by herself. Something bad could happen to you." One of the men said from behind.

"Oh really, like what?" Shego asked still eyeing the man in front.

"Oh I don't know, and I rather not say." He told the amazon.

One of the men grabbed Shego from behind, pinning her arms to her back as he used to his other hand to grope the amazon's breasts. Shego merely smirked as a reaction to her would be rapists.

"Oh, you like that huh?" The man said as he squeezed Shego's breasts tighter.

"Not yet." Was her response.

Shego tapped into her demi god powers and ignited her fists, burning the man behind her. He released her with a shriek as his smoked from Shego's touch. Shego quickly turned to grab the man, and the one in front of her charged her. Acting quickly she took hold of the one behind her and swung him around, hitting the man in front of her, slamming them both into a wall.

She turned to face the two remaining behind her. Green flames dancing around her fists, the men before her cowered in fear.

"What are you?" One of them asked.

"You're about to find out." Shego said with a smirk.

The men turned and ran out of the alley screaming as Shego threw balls of fire at them. Smiling Shego continued on her way towards Kim's home. She smiled as she could see how close she was now. She spotted the red roof tiles of a house that was just down the block.

As she walked down the block, more of the house came into view, and Shego had to give it to the merchant, it kind of did remind her of a palace. After all Kim's parents were esteemed scholars and the knowledge has brought them much of their wealth.

Then Shego saw something or rather someone that brought an immediate smile to her face. Standing at the door step were three people. One Shego recognized as her flowing red hair made her stand out amongst the others. At long last she had finally made her way to Kim.

However the other two she did not recognize. One was male and he wore a simple white tunic with a gold hemmed design on it. The tunic fastened over his left shoulder, leaving the right shoulder exposed. The next person was a brunette, she had shag cut hair that dangled a mere inch above her shoulders. She wore a purple chiton with a gold hemmed design, and had a gold drape fastened to her waist.

Shego wondered who they were, especially the brunette. Shego watched for a bit as they all laughed a bit and exchanged a few words before she walked over.

Kim stood outside with a friend of hers, a friend she hasn't seen in quite some time. His name was Ronnicus, the famed gladiator of Sparta who helped her escape imprisonment and more importantly helped her fight against Hera's plan to destroy her. Next to him was his wife Bonnie. They had met after the ordeal and married soon after.

Ron had come to relay a message to Kim, and that message was that he and Bonnie were moving to Athens. This news of course excited Kim, it meant that her closest friend would be in walking distance if she ever wanted to go see him.

They shared a few laughs, talking about what they've been up to. Ron even brought up how Kim seemed to become a legend as the mortal who beat a god. Kim of course denied that she was a legend per say, she was just scratching what she called a very annoying itch.

"Hey did you ever meet up with your amazon friend?" Ron asked.

"I did, it's been three days since I last saw her though." Kim said.

"You never said what she was like." He pointed out.

"What she's like?" Kim repeated, thoughts of the night she shared with Shego drifting through her head. "Um, well she an amazon, so that means she's strong. She's got a temper though that's for sure, and she can be a bit hot heated at times." Kim said.

"Hot headed am I?" A voice said as pale arms wrapped around Kim's waist.

Both Ron and Bonnie exchanged curious glances. Who was this woman that seemed to appear out of nowhere and why was she all over Kim?

"I think you forgot to mention my wonderful people skills, beautiful locks of raven hair and my lovely green eyes." Shego said.

"I don't mean to be rude, but who are you?" Ron asked.

"I'm the princess of the amazons, but more importantly, I'm Kim's green eyed, hot headed lover." She said.

"Lover?" Ron and Bonnie both said.

They both shot a glance at Kim. Who smiled sheepishly at them.

"What Kim didn't tell you about me?" She said as she looked to the red head.

"They never asked." Kim quickly replied.

"You never talked about it." Ron countered.

"There was no to talk to anyone about it, until recently." Kim quickly added.

"Hold on you like girls?" Bonnie asked.

"Is that going to be a problem?" Shego asked, throwing Bonnie a quick glare.

"No, no." She said backing down.

"Wait a minute." Kim said interrupting everybody, so she could put together two and two. "When did you get here?" Kim asked her. "Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see you, but when and how?" The red head asked.

"When? A while ago, and how by ship duh." Shego said. "However my arrival bears bad news."

"What kind of bad news?" Kim said a serious expression appearing on her face.

Shego looked over to Ron and Bonnie. "It could affect the futures of those around you." Shego told the Athenian

"It's ok Kim, we'll let you two talk in private. We need to go get things set up in our new home." Ron told her.

Kim merely nodded and let the couple continue on their way. Kim then turned to face Shego, she was glad to see her lover again, but Kim could only guess on what the bad news could be.

"Ok, what news do you bring to me?" Kim asked as she folded her arms as she leaned back on the wall.

Shego let out a sigh. "Long story short, the gods of Olympus want you dead."

"What!?" Kim said pushing herself off the wall. "What have I done to deserve this?" She asked anger in her voice.

"They fear you Kim. They think that since they no longer control you, you will attack them. They fear what you have become." Shego told.

"That's ludicrous, I want nothing to do with them!" She said throwing her hands up into the air.

"You beat a god, Kim. You could have killed Hera, that's reason enough. When you broke your ties to Athena that was the final straw."

"So it was Athena then?" Kim asked.

"It was Olympus, Kim they're sending the Furies after you." Shego told her.

"The Furies?" Kim repeated. She knew of the Furies and what they did to those they hunted. The Furies are relentless, and they would hunt Kim until the day she dies.

Kim let out a sigh, this is not what she expected or anticipated. Shego grabbed Kim and embraced her with a hug.

"I'm not going to let you go through this alone, we promised to be there for one another." Shego told her.

"Thanks Shego, but I don't want to drag you into this mess." Kim responded.

"It's too late for that, I'm already involved." Shego told her.

"What? What happened?" Kim said looking up at the amazon.

"When I heard what had happened, what the gods were planning to do, me, my aunt and one hundred amazons came to support you. We no longer walk with the gods, which makes us targets for the Furies as well." Shego explained.

Kim didn't know what to say, Shego had basically just given up her way of life for her. Shego valued her over the gods that she used to serve. Kim looked up at Shego, the amazon made her feel safe, it was a nice feeling.

Kim then noticed Shego's saddened expression. "What's wrong? I thought princesses were supposed to be happy?" Kim asked.

"Earlier before we docked at the port of Athens, we lost almost half of our sisters to the Charybidis." Shego said.

"The what now?"

"The Charybidis. It is a monstrous beast from the deep, that creates whirlpools capable of swallowing a fleet of ships." Shego told her. "I felt so useless Kim, there was nothing I could do, nothing. I tried so hard." Shego said as she finely let the tears slide down her cheeks.

Now it was Kim's turn to embrace Shego. She held onto the amazon comforting her. However their embrace was cut short as a young man came running up to her house.

"Excuse me!" He called out, as he panted heavily, catching their attention. "Are you…the one they call Kim?" He asked.

"Yes? What seems to be the problem?" She asked the man.

"There is… a … a monster. It's blocking the eastern route to Athens…please you've got..to stop it." He pleaded with her.

Kim merely nodded. "Don't worry we'll take care of it." She said. "That's if you're up for it?" Kim asked Shego.

Shego nodded, letting Kim know she had the support she needed. With that Kim went to grab her armor and weapons so they could head out.

XX

10 minutes later

Kim, Shego and Ron, who they ran into on their way towards East Athens were heading to take care of the monster that had been terrorizing everyone trying to entering from the Eastern route. Ron looked over to see the two women smiling, it made him happy to see that Kim had found someone to be with, although he didn't imagine it to be another women.

"So Shego, you're a princess. What's that like?" Ron asked her.

"Whatever fairy tale gibberish your parents told you, don't believe it. I don't get to lounge around as much as I like, I spend my days training and protecting my home back on Themiscyra." She said.

Ron nodded, it still sounded better than what he was used to, since he spent most of his life as a gladiator. Ron then looked over to Kim. "This guy, did he say what the monster looked like?"

Kim shook her head. "He did not." She answered.

"It's probably some scaly beast. If it's one thing I learned, is that all monsters have scales." Shego stated.

"Cereberus didn't." Kim pointed out.

"Whatever, you know what I mean." She said.

Ron chuckled. "You two sound like an old married couple."

Ron's comment made Kim chuckle a bit. They continued on their way stopping in their tracks once the road grew foggy.

"A fog, this late in the day?" Kim questioned.

"Think we found our monster?" Ron asked.

His answer came in the form of a loud sinister hiss. The sound seemed to come from every direction as the three warriors looked around.

"Shego do you feel it?" Kim asked her.

"You mean the bloodlust hanging in the air I do." Shego replied.

"Really, because I don't feel or see anything." Ron commented.

Suddenly Shego grabbed Ron and pulled him to the ground, making him cry out. Both of them watched as a long serpentine body had emerged from the mist, and quickly pulled itself in shrouding itself.

"Kim, you ok?" Shego asked.

"Yeah I'm ok. What is that thing?" Kim asked her.

"It's called a Basilisk. Whatever you do, do not look it in the eyes and don't cut it with your sword, its blood is highly lethal."

"Then how are we supposed to fight it?" Kim asked.

"With these." Shego said igniting her fists, surrounding herself with a green glow.

"You're a demi god too?" Ron asked with astonishment.

"I'll explain later. I'm going to need you to distract so me and Kim can get in a good shot." She told the blonde warrior.

"Got it." He said and he charged the basilisk.

"Remember don't…"

"I know!" Ron said as it emerged through the mist and found himself standing before the great serpent.

The basilisk had black scales with a white underbelly, and lifeless looking eyes as well as a mouth filled with sharp teeth. Remembering not too look the basilisk in its eyes Ron called out to it.

"Hey there, Ronnicus is the name." He said to it.

The basilisk responded by letting out a roar before the hood on its neck popped open. Ron dodged out of the way as the serpent crashed into the ground. Seeing an opportunity Shego threw a ball of fire at the basilisk hitting it in the face. It growled as a response to Shego's attack, and turned its attention back to the fog.

Thinking quickly Ron grabbed a stone and chucked it. The stone hit the basilisk in the back of its hood, making the serpent turn back to look at him. However Kim was now in place and she had her hands charged with lightning. She fired off several bolts shocking the basilisk. It roared out as it thrashed its tail about kicking up stones, sending them flying everywhere.

Ron took cover behind some trees, it was a difficult situation for him. A beast he couldn't slay by ordinary means, was a creature beyond him. Ron moved to duck as the basilisk swung its tail around decapitating the nearby trees in its path.

"Kim hit it again." Shego told her.

Kim's necklace began to glow as she used her demi god powers. Lightning raced from her fingertips as it arched its way towards the basilisk, striking its body. It seemed like their attacks only served to infuriate the creature.

The basilisk hissed, and as it did it released deadly toxins that caused the surrounding plant life around it to wither away and die.

"Somebody needs to work on their dental hygiene." Ron said, as he threw another stone striking the basilisk once again.

It slithered its way over to Ron cutting off his escape route. Ron moved to run the other way, but the basilisk blocked his path with its tail.

"A little back up would be greatly appreciated!" Ron called out.

"On our way!" Kim called out to her friend as she and Shego rushed over.

They both began to barrage the basilisk with their attacks, pushing the beast back, as well as creating an opening for Ron to escape.

"Kim I have an idea, distract it for me." Shego said running off to the left.

Kim regrouped with Ron as the basilisk slithered around them. They rolled out of the way from its bite and backed away from its toxic breath. Kim was panting heavily as she was beginning to grow exhausted from the continued use of her powers. She still could not figure out, why she was growing more and more tired each time she used her power.

Still that would not stop her. She clenched her fists as she charged them with lightning, but the basilisk acted first. With a swipe from its tail stones were sent flying in Kim and Ron's direction. Ron stood in front of the red head, acting as a shield for her. However a large stone crashed into Ron, knocking him and Kim over.

The basilisk hissed as it slowly slithered over to them. It leaned down as it prepared to devour them. It let out a roar when a green fireball slammed into its face. Looking over to its left it saw Shego in a nearby tree her hands charged with green flames.

It roared at the amazon and that was what she was waiting for. Shego shot a ball of fire into the basilisk's mouth. This caused the basilisk to choke on the burning toxins inside its throat. After several minutes of gasping for air, the basilisk dropped dead to the ground, shaking the ground a bit.

Kim and Ron climbed to their feet. They walked over to the basilisk, and Ron took the hilt of his sword and poked the creature with it.

"Yep, it's dead." Ron said.

"Well Shego you're the expert, what do we do with its body?" Kim asked.

"We burn it." She said igniting her right hand. "Once I do, we got to clear the area fast, got it?"

Kim and Ron nodded, and waited for Shego to set the body of the basilisk ablaze. Once she did, they quickly exited the area, as they did not want to fall prey to its burning toxins.

However they weren't the only ones that had watched what had transpired here. Three forms emerged from the shadows in the form of Alecto, Tisiphone and Megaera. The Furies had been observing them, and Alecto was not pleased.

"Your methods fail us Megaera, your basilisk failed to capture and or kill Kim and Shego." Alecto told her.

"As did yours Alecto, when you swallowed the wrong ship." Megaera shot back.

"Sister, sisters calm down." Tisiphone said. "I have a plan that will net us both oath breakers."

Tisiphone smiled as she looked at her sisters, both eager to hear her plan. "Well don't keep us in suspense." Alecto told her.

"I'll keep the Athenian busy, while you introduce yourselves to the amazon." Tisiphone said with a dark chuckle.

Alecto and Megaera began to chuckle as well, they would let Kim and Shego share what would definitely be their last night together.

Ok this where we call it quits, I wrote an long chapter today lol. I did so that Shego's flash back can end next chapter, that way we can progress forward from there.
