It was late at night Shun walked into the meeting room for the Battle Brawlers in the battle arean, he saw no one was there apart from Marucho. "Marcuho, you are still here?" Shun asked
"Well I have to make sure that the server and the mainframe for the Bakugan stadium systems are at peak condition..." Marucho yawned after he said that. "...It may take me a few all nighters but I am okay with that. So why are you here, you look like something is on your mind."
"Actually yes. It's about that kid Cameron. He was talking about a Bakugan named Draconoid. This Bakugan apparently told him that he must be able to beat a Bakugan with traces of Code Eve's power." Shun explained. "I'm sure you know that he must beat Drago, he asked me if he had a shot at beating Dan and Drago."
"So what did you tell him?" Marucho asked
"I was honest with him. I told him that with his skill he has no chance at coming close to beating Dan."
"Of course Drago will seem stronger, because he is several evolutions head of Blazeon, but that doesn't mean that he has no chance. If the both of them were to get stronger they might, just might have a chance."
"Say Marucho, have you heard of this Draconoid?" Shun asked
"No, but the existence of a Bakugan we don't know of might be able to explain the appearance of that mysterious one that talked about Humans controlling Bakugan, a while ago."
"I can only guess that it has something to do with that kid Cameron. But even if we were to look into it, we wouldn't find out anything, maybe we should train these kids, maybe they are the key to defeating those Fabregans that attacked us last time."
"That's a great idea, we should contact them as soon as possible."
"No. Marucho, they may have potential but they all have their flaws, that is why we need to meet up with them and get to know them better, before we can actually train them, but the one problem is Dan." Shun said
"You're right, the rest of the team has made their peace about retiring from brawling but with Dan. It's a different story."
"We'll discuss this at a later time. Right now all we can do at this point is size up how skilled these guys really are." and Shun walked out of the room.
Marucho continued working and soon Preyas rolled to him on the desk. "Don't you think you should be getting some rest soon?"
"You don't have to worry, Preyas. We wont be battling today and if I remember those kids we are supposed be watching don't have an Aquos battler, so we don't really have to worry about coaching them, but if Dan refuses then I may have to coach him instead." he said as he continued working.
It is now the weekend and there were many battles that were happening in the morning and the team were waiting in their room and Aisha, Cera and Jayden.
"I wonder where the others are?" Jayden asked.
"Maybe, Cameron did in fact lose the battle yesterday, and they are too afraid to show their faces." Cera said as she folded her arms and leaned on the wall.
"Care to guess again, Cera!" said Akira as she walked in the room with Cameron.
"I don't believe it! Cameron actually won!" Aisha exclaimed.
"Yeah, but it wasn't easy." Cameron said.
"At least we are still in the running, well since there are no competitive battles today, what should we do?" Jayden asked.
"I know! We should have a celebration!" Aisha cheerfully said.
Jayden with a smirk looked at her. "Well now...that seems like a good idea. But what did you have in mind?"
"Aw c'mon guys you don't have to do this for me." Cameron said holding his hands.
"Yeah... what he said." Cera said as she still had her arms folded.
"No! It the least we can do for throwing you under the bus like that. So here is the plan! Akira, Cameron. You get the day off!" she yelled.
"Hold on, who died and made you leader?" Jayden asked maintaining his calm composure.
"No one did, but I am in charge of this. Cera you will handle the venue and the decorations."
"I guess I am still part of this team until the competition ends, but that doesn't mean I have to like it." she said. "Don't worry I'll get right on it." she sounded with a casual voice.
"So that leaves me and Jayden with getting the cake!" Aisha said.
"Remind me why I have to go again?" Jayden said nonchalantly.
"Because we let our friend down and we are obligated to celebrate his biggest victory after we gave up on him last time."
"Fine..." Jayden said sounding defeated and he was pulled out of the room by Aisha. Leaving Cameron and Akira alone in the room.
"So... what do we do now?" the Pyrus user asked
"I guess I can teach you all that I know about battling." Akira said
Cameron now had sparkles in his eyes. "REALLYY!"
"Yes, just back off a little would'ya?" she asked as she lightly pushed him away.
Hayato of Team Generation was now walking in the streets of Bakugan City and he had his eyes closed and he was looking down to the ground while his eyes were closed. "How could some little brat show up Kaleb like that. It's not like he had it coming. But if that kid has that much power in a Bakugan. Then how can I match up to him!" he thought and he flashed back to when Jayden beat him twice in a row back in the battlefield. "Out of all the Bakugan in our team, Mystic's has the lowest base power level. On top of that He doesn't compare to fast opponents. I need to test his power one more time. But how will I do that?" he thought to himself and he got a call on his gauntlet.
"All members of Team Generation must assemble for a meeting right away." Kaleb said as he appeared on the monitor of Hayato's gauntlet.
"Leave it to him to schedule a meeting just after he lost a Bakugan Battle. That doesn't matter, I have to seek power!" he said and he began running down city. "I'm sure our fearless leader can handle the team without me there!" he said to himself.
The members of Team Generation arrived in their meeting room and as usual Kaleb was late and Luna was reading another book while sitting on the couch. Garfied and Hikari were there Kyle just got to the door and he was panting.
"Did I get here on time?" he asked
"When is Kaleb ever here on time, he probably getting make up touch ups because he thinks there are camera's watching him." Luna said.
"But we won yesterday, why is he calling this meeting?" Garfield asked
"Probably because you showed him up, when you won the battle against those two weirdos. As it stands he is supposed to be the strongest but because of you, you embarrassed him." she explained.
"But... we are all equals aren't we? We did join this team to become the best battlers we can be, right?" Hikari asked before she realized what happened and she quickly covered her mouth. Kyle had his eyes wide open and Luna actually dropped her book.
"That was actually the first time I heard your voice... so are you officially talking to us." she still had her mouth covered and she shook her head. "Knew it was too good to be true, still it is great to know what you sound like now. So does this mean you are in love with Garfield?" Hikari hid her blushing cheeks and quickly shook her head.
"C'mon Luna, don't embarrass her." Garfield said.
"Anyway when is our bonehead leader getting here I need to be at a poetry event at the bookstore in an hour."
Soon Kaleb walked in the room and he stood in the centre of the room. "Ah so you all got here... where is Hayato?" he asked
"If we knew we would tell you..." Luna said and she kept reading.
"Okay then I guess we'll have to start without him, then." he sighed. "Well good news, thanks to Garfield and I. We are still in the running to make it to the tower of power we just have to win one more double battle. So our first order of business will be discussing on who will battle in our final double battle against one of the Tri-Twisters?"
"Are they the ones who still use Chaos Bakugan?" Luna asked. Kaleb nodded then Luna got up, if it will get me to the bookstore faster and teach those cheating punks a lesson. Then I'm in!" she said.
"Okay, now that we have Luna agreeing to go, who else will join her?" Kaleb asked. Hikari put up her hand. "So we'll have our girls take them on, okay. Now one more thing. If anyone is going to dazzle a battlefield with strength and leadership it will be me, because I lead this team any objections?" Everyone shook their head as they felt indifferent about his demands. "Very well. As you all were." and they all walked out.
As Hikari was walking down the hall with Garfield she heard something and looked behind her but nothing was there. She took a sigh of relief.
"You can't hide from your destiny little girl!" Hikari heard and she stopped in her tracks. "I may be gone from this world but my thoughts remain with you, and I will make sure your inner power is seen!" the older female voice said in Hikari's head.
"Hikari? Are you okay?" Garfield asked and she nodded and she looked to the at the glass in the walls and instead of seeing her own reflection, she saw the Gundalian figure of Kazarina looking back at her and she stepped back and she closed her eyes and looked at the reflection again and saw her own face. "Hikari? You seem jumpy, how about I take you home?" Garfield requested.
She quickly shook her head. "I just need to head home quickly!" and she ran from Garfield in the hall and he was just left confused.
"I hope she's okay." suddenly his stomach growled. "And I need to eat something before my stomach eats itself." with that he instantly ran to the food court.
Jayden and Aisha were at a bakery in the mall and Aisha was looking at the different cakes that they were selling. "Aww man! I don't know what to pick!" she yelled out as she was surveying the different cakes on display.
"This isn't rocket science! Just pick one." Jayden said sounding a little annoyed. "Anyway, if you're picking out the cakes what do you need me for?"
Aisha looked at him and placed her hands on her hips and puffed her cheeks. "Do you just expect a girl to hold the cake back to the venue by herself!"
"Uh... yes... It's not like you're hauling a shipment of gold to the other side of town." he calmly said. "Hey... the more I look at you, the more I sort of think you look similar to Makimoto, minus the red eyes of course."
"Oh... well thanks!" she chirped.
"What... that wasn't a compliment. It was just a statement, besides it's not like you're trying to become her right?"
Aisha looked away and rubbed her shoulders. "Uh yeah... right." she said.
"Hey there you guys!" a voice familiar to the both of them said and they saw Julie Makimoto with a grocery bag in her one hand.
"Well speak of the devil... so how are you doing, besides the fact that you guys recently decided to come out of retirement?" Jayden asked
"Oh don't worry. We are only brawling till this whole Tower of Power thing dies down. Hey speaking of which I never did give you that autograph." she said looking to Aisha and she squealed and pushed Jayden out of the way.
"So who am I making this out to?" she asked
"Your biggest fan in the world! Aisha!" she said and Julie signed on a photo of herself and she gave it to Aisha.
"Will this do?" she asked and Aisha took it and held it close to her chest.
"It will always treasure this!" she squealed
Jayden looked at the two and he noticed something different about Aisha than the other times he had seen her, her long hair was tied in a side ponytail, which is similar to Julie's side ponytail. "Aspiring to become someone else... not good." He walked to the two. "Hey since you're here Julie, why don't you challenge your biggest fan to a battle, y'know before you retire again." he suggested.
"Hey!" Aisha yelled. "You cant just ask for a battle like that... beside I'm pretty sure that you are too busy these days, so you don't have time for brawling anyway."
She put her finger on her chin. "Normally I wouldn't but I can make an exception for my biggest fan." and Aisha stood there stunned and Jayden nudged her with her shoulder to snap her out of it. "What do you say Aisha?"
"Oh... there is no way I could even hold a candle to you in battle..."
"We don't know that!" Bearth said standing on her shoulder giving her a scare.
"Okay. I'll accept your challenge!" she said.
The three were now in an empty rocky clearing nearby and both Julie and Aisha equipped their gauntlets and they activated them. Jayden put his hand on Aisha's shoulder so he would be able to see the battle.
"Gauntlet Power Strike!" they both yelled and time around the three of them stopped and Aisha took out a gate card. Gate Card Set!" she yelled and threw a card that disappeared into the ground and made a brown shockwave around the area. "Okay, you ready Bearth?"
"Yeah, just don't hold back like the last time." he told her.
"Don't worry. I won't this time." she said and she closed her eyes and smiled. He closed his ball form and Aisha grabbed him. "Here I come Julie! Bakugan Brawl!" she arched her back and lifted her right leg in the air and she threw Bearth into the battle field. "Bearth Stand!" and he stood in his ball form and animated into his Bakugan form and he stood on his four legs and he roared.
"Either I'm seeing things, or Aisha threw in Bearth just like how Julie used to throw in Gorem when she was younger... I'll have to note that." Jayden thought.
"Bakugan Brawl!" Juile yelled and she threw Gorem onto the battlefield. "Goren Stand!" she yelled and he stood and he towered on the battlefield. "Show them what you're made of Gorem."
"I am Subterra Hammer Gorem, I will make sure that I will win this battle for Julie." he bellowed in his deep voice.
"Yeah, well I'm not going to hold back either."
Gorem: 800 Bearth: 800
"Ability Activate!" ability card set. "Quake Scratch!" Aisha yelled and Bearth's claws extended and he then ran over to Gorem and he stood temporarily and tried to scratch him.
"Gorem, block the attack!"
"You got it!" he crossed his arms and he was scratched continuously and Bearth stopped and he jumped back and smirked.
Gorem: 800 Bearth: 1'000
"Sorry to do this Julie." Aisha apologized in advance. "Ability Activate! Soldier's Charge!" he stood up and was covered in an orange aura and he was going to shoulder charge into Gorem.
Gorem: 800 Bearth: 1'500
"Not so fast, this battle isn't going to be won that fast." Julie put a card in her gauntlet. "Ability Activate! Taros Hammer!"
Gorem took out his hammer and he began spinning it and he then ran towards Bearth and was about to hit him with it.
Gorem: 1'000 Bearth: 1'300
"I'm ready for that! Ability Activate! Earth Barrier!" pieces of rocks appeared on his arms and stuck together and he successful blocked the attack with his arms and it lessened the damage
Gorem: 1'000 Bearth: 1'500
"Earth Barrier is an ability which restores a Bakugan's energy before to before their power levels were dropped." Aisha explained.
"This girl really is good, she has a lot of potential, but something is holding her back... but I can't tell what." Julie thought. "I have to stop holding back, she already has a good start on me." "Ability Activate! Gorem Punch!" he quickly sped over to Bearth.
"Ability Activate! Bulldozer Arm!" Bearth's right arm vibrated was engulfed in orange electricity and sounded like a construction drill and he ran to punch Gorem. Both Bakugan punched each other's fists and they impact caused an explosion and Gorem slid on his back toward Julie.
Gorem: 700 Bearth: 1'600
"I can't believe it, Makimoto is losing?" Jayden said to himself
"Ability Activate, Giga Hammer!" she yelled and Gorem's hammer was now surrounded by an orange glow and he ran towards Bearth.
"I knew you were going to use that!" and Julie was surprised that she said that. "I'm your biggest fan, Julie. I know all the abilities that Gorem has, I can predict your next move before you can even make them."
Gorem: 1'500 Bearth: 1'600
"Sorry, Aisha. But you don't know Giga Hammer!" Gorem began spinning his hammer in his hands and he got closer to Bearth.
"Bearth, ability activate! Forest Flame!" he puffed his cheeks and blasted a huge orange fire ball towards Gorem but he just swatted it away with his hammer.
"Sorry, but Giga Hammer not only increases Gorem's power level, but also nullifies your abilities!"
"SAY WHAT!" Bearth was hit by the hammer and he fell down to the ground.
Gorem: 2'300 Bearth: 1'600
"Oh, man. Doesn't matter, because I'm not going to lose. Gate Card Open! Character!" she yelled and the gate card opened and Bearth's power lever increased.
Gorem: 2'300 Bearth: 2'400
"Now lets end this Bearth! Ability Activate! Soldiers Charge!" Bearth began to glow orange and he was about to shoulder charge into Gorem.
Gorem: 2'300 Bearth: 2'900
Julie suddenly smirked. "Too Bad your character card is about to become useless." she said.
"What are you talking about?"
"Lets end this Gorem! Ability Activate. Grand Impact!" Gorem took his hammer and he jumped high in the air and smashed it on Bearth's character card.
"OH NO! I FORGOT!"
"Grand Impact is Gorem's signature ability, and one of it's effects is that it nullifies your Gate Card."
Gorem: 2'300 Bearth: 2'100
"Let's Go!" Julie happily yelled and Gorem spun and threw his hammer at Bearth and he was hit and he flew back and grinded the dirt.
Gorem: 2'700 Bearth: 1'700
"Well... that's it..." Bearth said as he glowed orange and he shrunk to his ball form and he flew to Julie's hand.
Time restored itself and everything that was happening in the rocky area was back to normal. Aisha was on her knees and Julie walked over to her and she but Bearth who was in his ball form in her hands. "I may have won but I don't steal Bakugan." Aisha looked up at Julie and had tears in her eyes. "Uh, are you okay... if something is wrong you can tell me." she softly said but Aisha got up.
"Just like before... I was always weak..." she muttered to herself. Aisha then put her hands on her face and ran from the two of them to hide her sobs.
"Aisha!" Julie yelled but her calls would be in vain. Jayden on the other hand, strangely had a concerned look on his face and his eyes slightly opened when he saw Aisha cry. "We should look for her!" Julie said.
"Don't have to tell me twice." Jayden replied in his calm voice and he put his arms behind his head and they both ran to find Aisha.
Aisha was sitting by a huge tree in the park and she had her head in her knees. She looked up and she had tried up tear marks on her cheeks. "I thought that I was done feeling helpless..." she thought to herself. "What's worse! I cried in front of my biggest fan! I'm so pathetic."
Bearth jumped on her shoulder and he opened his ball form. "Aisha, what is wrong?"
"Bearth? I'm okay... nothing is wrong..." she said rubbing her eyes
"Really? You could've fooled me." he said. "I know we lost but we can both learn from this."
"We didn't lose... you tried your best and I just wasn't good enough."
"Aisha..."
"The truth is... I'm never good enough. I never have been."
Jayden walked by the tree and saw her talking to Bearth. "Looks like I found ya."
"Jay-den."
"Look don't go running off like that. You really worried Makimoto."
"Oh... sorry..." she said wiping some fresh tears from her eyes.
"Look if this is about me saying that you looked like Makimoto earlier. I was just stating that..."
"It's alright, I guess you could say that I aspired to become her..." she admitted. "But you can see how well that is going." she sarcastically said.
"Where are you going with this, Clair?" he asked
"Great, now you're calling me by my last name?" she said lowering her head.
"That doesn't matter, but why do you want to become like Makimoto so much?"
"I guess because... I wanted to become strong like her. But also I wanted to leave behind the weak part of me."
"The weak part of you?" Jayden asked now perplexed as to where she was going with this.
"I guess I should explain... It happened six years ago, back when I was still living in Wardington City. I was eight years old at the time."
-Flashback six years-
A girl who was dressed in a simple light blue dress was playing in a sandbox in the park and she had tanned skin, and had red eyes, she also had short pale blonde hair that stretched down to the end of her neck and she had a had a plush toy that was a brown bunny rabbit that had red buttons for eyes. And she heard a few kids outside the sand box talking.
"So who is your favorite Brawler?" a girl in a group of girls asked.
"Do you have to ask? Shun of course."
"You can't say that!? Shun is my future husband!" another one of the girls yelled and soon enough all four of them got into a fight.
The girl in the sand box looked down at her sand castle. "I don't know who my favorite is... but if I had to choose..." she then saw her brown rabbit plush toy. "Who would your favorite be, Shoko?" she asked and she just felt compelled to hug her plush toy.
"Well look at what we have here?" a boy said and when the girl looked up he had red spiky hair and he wore purple jeans with a red shirt. "Just some girl playing in the sand." he said as his flashed a devilish grin.
"Me and Shoko were just playing together. You wanna play too?" she sweetly asked.
"Yeah sure... Toya... this girl wants to play with us in our sandbox, what do you say?" the boy asked.
"I say we should teach her how to play." the other boy with white short hair said and he kicked over her sandcastle into her face and she began coughing from the dust. "Get this through your thick head! This is our sandbox and the rules state you are not allowed to play in our sandbox!" he said and the girl had tears in here eyes.
The other boy approached the girl's plush toy. "Well what do we have here? Oh so the little girl likes to play with her dolly!" he said as he took it and began lifted it high with his hand, the girl being shorter was unable to reach.
"Please... give me back Shoko!" she cried and tears began falling from her face.
"The next time we catch you here? We will keep your stupid doll forever!" he said.
The girl nodded her head they threw the doll on the ground outside the sand box. "Don't ever let us catch you in the park ever again!" she got out and nodded with tears in her eyes.
She began walking out of the park and she was holding her plush toy in her arms and she was covered in sand. "Don't worry, Shoko. We will get home and I will clean you up." she began sniffling again and she leaned on a brick wall that had plants behind it. "Don't cry Shoko... If you cry... then I will cry..." she said and she began sobbing loudly.
Suddenly the door of the building opened and a girl that was a lot older and a lot taller that the girl she had tanned skin, with dark blue eyes and long white hair that was tied in a side ponytail, she was wearing a white apron over her pink outfit. She had roller skates and she skated outside and saw the little crying outside and she went to her and kneeled down to her.
"What's wrong, little one?" she asked
"Two boys were being m-me-mean to me." she said in between sobs.
"It's okay... you're fine now. You don't have to cry." she said.
"You look l-like I seen you before?" she said wiping the tears from her eyes.
"Well I am a Bakugan Battle Brawler after all." she cheerfully said. "My name is Julie Makimoto. What's your name?"
"A-Aisha..." she said.
"Okay, hey how about I give you some ice cream? Would you like that?"
Aisha nodded and they both went inside the cafe.
"Hey guys. I'd like to introduce my new friend! Her name is Aisha!" Julie announced.
"But she's a kid..." a girl with cyan pigtails said.
"Aisha these are my friends, Runo and Alice." Julie said
"Hello there it is nice to meet another friend of Julie's." a girl with long orange hair said.
"What are we going to do with her?" Runo asked
"You don't worry about that." Julie said. "I'll just make sure she gets home alright. Now lets get you that ice cream." she said and she skated over to the fridge.
"Hey Julie, you have to pay for that!" Runo said sounding irritated.
"Oh don't worry, just put it on my tab." she said and she took out a two tubs of ice cream.
"My parents aren't paying you to steal from the shop."
"Actually... we're not being payed at all..." Alice said to her and Runo's eyes widened.
"Can it Alice!" and she folded her arms and Julie walked over to the table that Aisha was at.
"Here you go." Julie cheerfully said.
"Thank you very much..." and she took the spoon and she began eating it.
"So tell us, are you from around here?" said a brown marble that was talking on Julie's shoulder.
Aisha got a fright and began backing away from Julie. "What's wrong?"
"Your Bakugan! It just talked!" she exclaimed.
"Oh, I see you noticed, there are some Bakugan that can talk." suddenly a white marble jumped on Runo's shoulder.
"It is true, Bakugan are actually an intelligent species." it said as it opened it's ball form.
"Uh..." Aisha began as she wasn't sure what to make of the situation
"Tell you what. You finish that ice cream, and I'll walk you home. Okay?" and Aisha blushed and nodded.
Later they were close to her house and they stopped in front of her yard. "So this is where you live right?" Julie asked and Aisha nodded without saying a word.
"Julie? Is Bakugan fun?" Aisha asked
Looked down to her. "Of course it is the most amazing thing in the world!" she exclaimed.
"Then I want to play Bakugan too!" Aisha said.
"Okay, we'll get started tomorrow then."
Aisha also held her doll, Shoko close to her. "And I've made my decision. You are my favorite Bakugan Battler!" she said excitedly. "Shoko thinks so too!" she said holding her bunny doll in the air.
Julie kneeled down to her level and she rubbed her head. "You're going to be a great battler when you're my age." she said.
"I wanna be a Bakugan Battle Brawler! Like you Julie!" she yelled.
"Don't worry it will happen someday." Julie happily chirped.
-Flashback Ends-
"After that day, Julie taught me everything about Bakugan, but on that day when the Bakugan had to go back to Vestroia. I didn't know what to do from there. I never actually seen a real Bakugan battle accept where the all the kids united to take down Naga." Julie was walking to the tree from behind and began hearing their conversation. "But my point is I changed myself because I was always so frail and weak. Julie was always so cheerful and carefree and kind. I wanted to be like her, not be so scared and helpless all the time." Julie gasped and she put her hand over her mouth. "But I'm no different from the scared little girl I was back then."
"There was nothing wrong with that scared little girl." Julie said coming up behind them and Aisha suddenly looked back.
"J-Julie?"
"I remember, so you grew into a great battler after all."
"I'm not so great, besides. I've been trying to become strong like you all these years, but I haven't become strong at all."
"Since you became like me? I wonder how the real Aisha is doing?" Julie said putting her hand on her chin.
"What are you talking about?"
"You can't become stronger just by copying me. It's like I told my good friend Jake a few years back. Each brawler has to find their own style. If you can do that. You will become an amazing Subterra battler in no time." she chirped.
"But... I don't have a style I always tried battling like you, Julie."
"This isn't good, we need to find the person who you are inside, only then will you be able to battle more clearly and effectively, but first of all we need to get you a makeover!" she exclaimed.
"And this is where it begins..." Jayden muttered.
"You sure that a makeover will make me into a stronger battler?" Aisha asked
"It's a start really?" Julie said while rubbing the back of her head. "C'mon trust me you're going to like it!" and she dragged Aisha's arm and Jayden followed the two while his hands we dug inside his pocket. However he suddenly turned around and he looked around.
"Something the matter, Jayden." Velocirex asked
"I could swear that someone is following us, just keep an eye out." he said to his partner.
"You got it."
Meanwhile behind a bush Hayato was looking at the three. "I have to test Mystic's power against the weak Subterra brawler, only then will I know if Mystic is a Bakugan worthy of my time." he said to himself and he jumped from the bushes and continued to follow them.
Jayden was leaning outside the window of a hair salon and he had his eyes closed. "Are you sleeping?" Velocirex asked
"No... just resting my eyes-"
"Sure you are, so what do you think they are doing in there?" he asked
"Probably just changing her hair style I guess, all I know is that she only knows one battling style and that is to battle like Julie so it will be difficult to make the change."
"I'm sure Julie has planned for that."
Meanwhile in the salon Bearth was off Aisha's shoulders but he was on the table close to her and he was coughing from the hair spray that was used on Aisha's hair.
"How can you endure this horrible, intoxicating choking substance?" he asked
"You shouldn't worry, you'll get used to it." Gorem said
"I can only hope so! I don't think I can take any of this any longer."
As they were talking the hair stylist was busy on Aisha's hair and he turned to chair and made it to face Julie who was behind her.
"Is perfection non?" the hair stylist said Julie took a look at Aisha and she clapped her hands.
"It's perfect." Julie said. Aisha had her eyes closed and when she looked in the mirror in front of her she saw that her hair was shorter but it streched down to below her shoulders and it streched out to the sides at the end, her also bangs covered her left eye, also her hair was now a light pink colour and she had an antenna stretching out of the top of her hair. "Well what do you think?"
"I'd really don't know..." she then looked at herself. "Then again... it works for..." she looked to Julie and the hair stylist. "I love it!" she exclaimed.
"I knew she would. Now lets go see what Jayden thinks."
The girls walked outside and Jayden was leaning against the wall with his eyes closed and he heard them walk up to him. "So are you two finally done?" he asked as he opened his eyes.
"Yep! How do I look?" she asked looking at Jayden. However her only response was a shrug of his shoulders. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"I don't know I have no comment? I guess if I had to pick between huge hair that covered a person's face and smelled like wet dog, and your hair style. I would pick yours."
Aisha had steam coming out of her ears. She looked away and folded her arms. "I can't believe you said that!" she exclaimed.
"You asked for my opinion and I gave it."
"Okay, now we need a new outfit to complement that cute hair style of yours."
"Alright, lets do it. You coming Jayden?" Aisha asked
"Why not? I have nothing better to do." he said and Aisha glared at him yet again.
Julie was picking out a bunch of clothes and Jayden had to hold them all, and both girls picked out so many that it was beginning to form a bit of a hefty weight for Jayden.
"Remember when we only came here to pick out a single outfit?" he retorically asked
"Relax, I'm only going to have Aisha try out different looks and see what best suits her." Julie said looking back at Jayden.
"Why all this, and who exactly is going to pay for all this?"
"We're not buying the whole store."
"Yeah, well it seems like we are renting it for free if Aisha going to try on all of these clothes." He said and he stopped for a second and he looked around. "Velocirex I am now certain someone is following us, I need you to look around if you can."
"I can try but I'm not a flying Bakugan so it will be difficult."
"Just do it, if it turns out to be one of those alien weirdoes, then we could be in trouble."
"Alright!" he jumped off Jayden's shoulder and he jumped around on clothing racks and got onto the beams close to the roof to he could have an aerial view of the store without flying and he looked around but he saw no one out of the ordinary. He decided to head back to his partner and he saw he was waiting outside the changing rooms with a whole bunch of clothes and he looked bored out of his mind. "I looked as much as I can, but I saw no one out of the ordinary."
"I was sure. Well I can't dwell on that now. I wonder what else we have to do?" he said to himself and he waited a long time.
It was late in the day and Cera was sitting in her backyard and she looked up to the sunset. "Something wrong, miss?" Cera's maid Samantha asked as she walked up to her.
"I am okay, we were supposed it's just that we were supposed to start this function a while ago and yet..." the venue in her backyard was prepared for the party but no one from the team showed up yet. "I really hope I didn't waste my time with all this."
"Knowing them, they probably got caught up in some trouble. They just looked like the bunch that would always cook up trouble where ever they go." Lunaris said as she was on Cera's shoulder. Lunaris looked at her human companion and could tell that she was in deep thought.
"Cameron? Why can't I get my mind off him. Was it because he and his Bakugan were a match for Lunaris and I? Or is it because he managed to beat Chris when he was expected to lose... Something about reminds me of... Impossible, even if that was the case he would not be equal to Dan Kuso's power. Not in a million years..."
"What's on your mind?" Lunaris asked.
"I wonder why Akira, as good as a battler she is, why she puts her faith in some amateur."
"I was thinking the same thing several times before."
"We shouldn't concern ourselves with such. We will have nothing to do with them in the foreseeable future anyway. No need to conflict our minds with irrelevant thoughts."
She looked from her mansion and saw that the city lights were about to come on. "Earth is nothing when compared to the beauty of New Vestroia." she muttered to herself.
The trio was now in Aisha's house and since no one was home yet Jayden began helping himself to what was in the fridge. "I still don't understand, I have to be here to judge her outfit?"
"Maybe she has a crush on you." Velocirex said
"If she did I would have noticed by now."
"Sure you would have."
Julie walked out of her room and she looked at Jayden. "Are you seriously helping yourself to her food?"
"No one is here? Plus, I don't think she would mind."
"Yeah especially when you're going to pay for every single thing you've eaten!" Aisha exclaimed as she walked into the room and Jayden saw her and he had to open his eyes for a second because he didn't recognize her at first. Aisha in her new hairstyle had a light pink longsleeved crop top hoodie and the sleeves went all the way to her palms and she had dark brown leggings with white shoes with pink accents and a gold shaped heart was on the each of the shoes. "Well how do I look?" she asked cheerfully as she giggles.
"Well, different."
"Thanks, I feel different... but she quickly looked down. "I still feel like my battling style will stay the same though."
"Don't worry, You can't possibly have the same battling style as me, and that's because of Gorem."
"Huh?"
"Don't you see? You tailor your battling style to the Bakugan you have in your possession. Gorem and Bearth are different Bakugan even though the are Subterra attributed, they are different Bakugan with different powers. You need to adjust your strategy to that."
"I think I understand... oh no! I completely forgot!" she exclaimed. "We need to get Cameron's cake!" she yelled and she ran out of the door and she saw Hayato waiting outside.
"About time you got out. I've been waiting all day for you to leave."
Aisha's eyes widened and she looked a bit frightened. "Do I know you?" she asked and Hayato now turned white as he stood stiff.
Jayden walked out of the house. "Hayato of Team Generation? What are you doing here!" he exclaimed.
"I need to test my power so I plan to challenge Aisha Clair to a dual!" he exclaimed.
"Sorry, but she's been through a lot today, I'm going to battle you!" Julie exclaimed.
"Guys! Let me take him on!" Aisha yelled.
"What!" Jayden and Julie exclaimed.
"I want- I want... to prove to myself that I am not weak anymore!"
Jayden walked to her and put his hand on her shoulder. "Aisha, you're not weak. I have seen you battle. I know that you can beat him. Just do as Julie said. You and Bearth must battle as one."
Aisha's red eyes became teary eyed and she had blushes on her cheeks. "T-Thanks, Jayden."
"Don't thank me. Thank yourself when you win."
She walked over to Hayato. "I'm going to take you on! And I'm going to win!" she yelled.
Both equipped their gauntlets. "Gauntlet Power Strike!" they both yelled and Jayden and Julie held Aisha's shoulders and time slowed down and on the street Hayato took out a card.
"Gate card set!" Hayato yelled and he threw down a Ventus gate card on the ground and it made a light green shockwave around the area. "Bakugan Brawl! Mystic Stand!" and his Ventus Bakugan stood and the cobra with four demonic wings stood and he flew in the air.
Aisha took a deep breath and she opened her eyes. "Bearth, do you trust me?"
"You are my partner, Aisha. I will always trust you."
"Thanks." she took Bearth. "Bakugan Brawl! Bearth Stand!" he stood on the road and he glared at Mystic.
"I will not lose this battle! You hear me!" He bellowed
Mystic: 700 Bearth: 800
Hayato put a card in his gauntlet. "Ability Activate! Magic Blade!" Mystic's wings had green outlines and he flew over to Bearth as he was about to slash him with his wings.
Mystic: 950 Bearth: 600
"Hold on Bearth! Ability Activate! Earth Barrier!" piles of the ground magnetized to Bearth's arms and they made a barrier and he crossed his arms and he blocked the attack.
Mystic: 950 Bearth: 800
Bearth blocked his wing blades by lifting his arms into the air and he backed away.
"I'm not going to lose to you!" Aisha yelled. "Ability Activate! Soldier's Charge!" Bearth became covered in an orange outline and he ran over towards Mystic and he jumped up and aimed his at shoulder him.
Mystic: 950 Bearth: 1'300
"Ability Activate, Hyper Glare!" his wings glowed white and he put them together over his head and a huge glare of a blinding light and Bearth fell down to the ground on his four feet and he looked up.
"Hyper glare! blinds your Bakugan, and also nullifies your abilities."
Mystic: 1'350 Bearth: 900
"Now this will end you! Ability Activate! Crystal Fury!" his wings were now covered in a crystal shards and he flung them towards Bearth.
Mystic: 1'450 Bearth: 800
"Bearth look out!" Aisha yelled and he blocked the attack with his arms but he had looked like he was in pain. "You okay?"
"I'm doing alright, just focus on the battle."
"Okay." she put an ability in her gauntlet. "Ability Activate!" she yelled. "Bulldozer Arm!" Bearth jumped into the air and his right arm began vibrating and he was about to throw a punch at Mystic.
Mystic: 1'150 Bearth: 1'100
Mystic flew fast upwards and avoided the attack. "It's useless if your attacks can't hit me! Ability Activate! Golden Barrage!" his scales shifted to a gold shade and he was surrounded in a golden aura and flew to impact Bearth.
Mystic: 1'550 Bearth: 900
"Hang on I'll just attack him! Ability Activate! Forest Flame!" Bearth shot an orange fireball from his mouth but Mystic easily flew from the attack and he swooped down to Bearth and there was an explosion and he hovered back into the air.
Bearth was standing on two legs and he was in a defensive stance and there was smoke coming from him. "I'm not going to be defeated so easily!"
Mystic: 1'150 Bearth: 900
"Help is on the way! Come Bakugan trap!" she threw a light brown cube with green accents. "Forest Golem!" and it opened and it glowed light brown and he stood on the ground.
Mystic: 1'150 Bearth/Nature Golem: 1'250
"Now I can't lose!"
"You think so! Gate Card open! Frugal Power!" he yelled and the card glowed and Bearth and Forest Golem were now covered in a red outline.
"Frugal Power?" Aisha and Julie questioned in unison.
"The command card, Frugal Power prevents the opposing Bakugan from activating their abilities when their power level is over one thousand Gs." Hayato explained with a smirk.
"You're kidding me!" Aisha yelled.
"Now your Bakugan are simple target practice. Ability Activate! Magic Blade!" his wings were in a green outline and he flew over to Bearth and Forest Golem and he sliced through the both of them and Bearth and Forest Golem retreated to their ball forms after glowing orange and they bounced on the ground in front of Aisha's feet."
Aisha life force 60 percent.
"That was too easy." Hayato said and his Bakugan glowed and returned to his hand.
"Hey Aisha, you're doing it again!" Jayden yelled. "You're using Bearth to simply attack the opponent head on!"
"But... This is the only way I know how to battle!"
"It's not that hard, play to Bearth's strengths instead of Gorem's."
"Aisha, don't worry. I'll try to do most of the work, I think I have a way to defeat him." Bearth told her
"Okay, if you can do it. I'll go along with your plan."
"Don't think taking orders from your Bakugan will give you the victory." Hayato said matter of a factly.
"Shut it will ya. Gate Card set!" she yelled and she threw a Subterra gate card on ground and it made an orange shockwave. "Bring it on! Bakugan Brawl! Bearth Stand!" he stood on the ground and he roared.
"Oh please, I don't see a different result happening here. Bakugan Brawl! Mystic Stand!"
Mystic: 700 Bearth: 800
"Now lets begin Aisha!"
"Huh? Oh right, but uhh what should I?" she muttered.
"Pathetic, if you're not going to be decisive then I'm just going to end this battle quickly." He put a card in his gauntlet. "Ability Activate! Crystal Fury!" his wings became crystalised and he threw crystals at Bearth.
Mystic: 800 Bearth: 700
"Just hurry up and go down already!"
"Aisha, hit me already!"
"Uh okay then. Ability Activate! Forest Flame!" Bearth blasted an orange fireball from his mouth and it hit the raining crystals they shattered.
Mystic: 400 Bearth: 700
"N-now what?"
"We wait for him to come to us."
"I can't wait that long, gate card open! Character!" she yelled a figure of Bearth appeared on the gate card.
"Not this again!" Bearth said.
"Don't worry it's going to work!"
Mystic: 800 Bearth: 1'400
"I can do this, I can do this! Come Bakugan Trap, Forest Golem!" she threw her cube trap in the air and it then formed his Bakugan form.
Mystic: 800 Bearth/Forest Golem: 1'750
"Overpower me will you?"
"I'm not done yet! Ability Activate Golem Power!" Forest Golem outstretched his arm and he fired it like a rocket
Mystic: 800 Bearth/Forest Golem: 1'950
The rocket arm was approaching Mystic but he flew away from it easily.
"But how is that possible, his power level was lower."
"Brawling isn't as simple as you think. Now I'm ending your streak. Double Ability Activate, Golden Barrage plus Magic Blade!" his scales became a shade of gold and his wings became surrounded in a light green outline and he flew fast towards Bearth and Forest Golem.
Mystic: 1'400 Bearth/Forest Golem: 1'450
Mystic collided and he slammed into Bearth and Forest Golem was left alone.
"Not so fast Ability Activate Forest Flame!" Bearth shot an orange fireball from his mouth.
"Child's play Ability Activate Positron Deflector!" he yelled and Mystic moved his wings in front of his face and a green hexagonal barrier appeared and Forest Flame was easily blocked.
Mystic: 1'300 Bearth/Forest Golem: 1'450
"No matter what you do, Bearth and Forest Golem together will always win!"
"You think so? Triple Ability Activate!"
"What! A triple ability!?"
"Magic Blade plus Hyper Glare plus Fusion Ability Silent Layer!" his wings glowed white and a greenish white orb formed around his chest and the orb formed a beam and he shot it at both Bearth and Forest Golem and they were engulfed in the huge beam.
"Bearth, Forest Golem!" Aisha yelled and they bounced to her feet in their ball forms in defeat.
Aisha life force 20 percent
She dropped to her knees and she held her hands to the side of her head. "But why! No matter what I do..."
"I'll always be..." tears began to fall from her eyes. "I'll always be... so weak." she said as she began crying.
"This isn't good." Julie said.
"No kidding, Makimoto, but I guess I gotta do what I gotta do." Jayden said as he walked over to Aisha. She was still sobbing when his shadow stood over her. "So this is it. You're going to tell me you lost because you thought you were weak." he said. Aisha just looked down. "Tell me is that what Julie would do?"
"No, because I'm not Julie! I'll never be her!" she exclaimed
"Exactly, you're already a someone. You're Aisha Clair a Subterra Brawler, you're cheerful, and for as long as I have known you, you've always tried to be happy. The real Aisha I know would fight to the end No matter the odds!" he yelled and her eyes widened and she stood up and her eyes couldn't be seen.
"Aisha?" Bearth looked up at her.
"Bearth, I want to be someone that I can be proud of. I don't know what I can do about this battle but will you help me, become an Aisha that I and everyone else can be proud of. So will you help me?" she asked as she held him in her palm.
"I know I haven't been the best partner to you, but if you are willing to give me another chance, then I will fight for you."
"No! We will be fighting together." she said as she flashed a smile and she held Bearth and she gently pressed him against her cheek and there was a glow coming from Aisha's card holster and she took it out and it it looked different from her other cards it was the same design as the new ability that Cameron used in his battle against Chris. "Is this a new ability card?"
"It looks different though." Bearth commented.
"It could be our only chance, you wanna do this?"
"Aisha, there is nothing I would rather do than battle at your side."
"Oh stop, you're gonna make me cry again." she said as she rubbed her eyes
"Are you done with the theatrics!" Hayato asked and he stood on the other side folding his arms.
"Just you wait! I'm going to defeat you!"
"Haha, with the amount of Life Points you have left I doubt it." he said. "Gate Card set!" he threw his gate card and it formed a green shockwave. "Bakugan Brawl! Mystic Stand!" Hayato's Mystic was now in the air.
"Bearth, will you lend me your strength?" Aisha asked
"We'll win this together." he closed his form and Aisha threw him in. "Bakugan Brawl. Bearth Stand!" he stood on the ground again.
Mystic: 700 Bearth: 800
"Ability Activate! Golden Barrage!" he flew down to Bearth while he was covered in golden scales.
A spark went off in Aisha's head. "I figured it out, the style Bearth and I should use!" she exclaimed.
Mystic: 1'100 Bearth: 600
"Now Fall!" Hayato yelled.
"Sorry not going to happen! Ability Activate! Earth Barrier!" his arms became encased in rocks and he blocked the attack and he just slid back.
Mystic: 1'100 Bearth: 800
"So what? It only increased your power level by a small amount." Hayato said. "I'm ending this! Double Ability Activate! Magic Blade plus Blaze Burn!" his wings were covered by a green outline and they were also encased in flames and he flew in a fast speed towards Bearth.
Mystic: 1'300 Bearth: 300
"Double Ability Activate Earth Barrier plus Soldier's Charge!" Rocks began to magnetize to his arms and he blocked the wings from hitting his body and he slide back and as he was being pushed back by Mystic, he was becoming engulfed in an orange aura and he forced Mystic back and as he floated back Bearth shoulder charged into Mystic and he flew to the ground.
Mystic: 1'300 Bearth: 1'300
"Same power level? Not for long! Ability Activate, Wind Blaze!" he yelled and his wings glowed red and he flung red heatwaves at Bearth.
Mystic: 1'600 Bearth: 1'000
"Hang on Bearth!" Aisha yelled and the heatwaves hit him and he slid back and he still stood on his two feet in a stance with smoke coming from him. "I knew you could do it!"
"Was there any ever doubt?"
"I know now, that you are a very defensive Bakugan, which means that attacking is only possible once the opponent is in a temporarily weakened state, you prefer to attack when their guard is down. That's why constantly attacking didn't work."
"You hit the nail right on the head Aisha."
"Defense means nothing if you can turn it to attack! Ability Activate! Wind Blaze!" he blasted another heatwave from his wings.
Mystic: 1'900 Bearth: 700
It was quickly approaching Bearth. "Here we go!" she took out the new ability card. "Ability Activate! Sentinel's Mirror!" Bearth roared and he was surrounded by a white aura and his whole body was now encased in a reflective shiny material and the heatwaves hit but Bearth just glowed a bright red colour and he made a bigger heatwave race back to Mystic.
"What is this!?" he asked and the heatwave hit Mystic and he fell to the ground.
Mystic: 1'100 Bearth: 1'100
Bearth came out of the reflective material and he stood tall.
"Woah it really worked." Aisha said looking at her Mystic on the ground.
Hayato looked very angry. "You got lucky but I won't lose to a weakling like you!" he put a card in his gauntlet. "Wind Blaze!" he yelled.
"Oh no you don't lets end this! Ability Activate Bulldozer Arm!" his arm began vibrating and made sounds like a drill and he ran over to punch Mystic before he could fire Wind Blaze again.
Both attacks hit and there was a huge explosion and coming out of them was two marbles as they landed on the ground and Aisha and Hayato tied.
Hayato Life force 80 percent.
Aisha life force, zero. Winner Hayato. Her gauntlet sounded as they both lost life points for their draw.
"It would seem I have all the necessary power I need." and with that Hayato walked away.
Aisha fell to her knees and she looked tired. "You okay Aisha?" Jayden asked walking up behind her.
"Okay? I'm better than okay!" she exclaimed and she jumped on Jayden and engulfed him in a hug.
"Woah, slow down there." and he forced her off him.
"It's just I figured everything out, and I'm so happy!" she exclaimed.
"Well that's amazing. I knew you would find your own style!" Julie exclaimed.
Aisha and Julie hugged. "Thanks for all your help Julie."
"It was no problem really."
"And I especially have to thank you... Jayden." she said with a blush creeping up on her cheeks.
He chuckled slightly. "No problem, though the rest of the team is probably waiting for us right now."
"THAT'S RIGHT WE FORGOT THE CAKE!" Aisha yelled. "If we hurry we can still make it with the cake!" she yelled and she grabbed Jayden's arm and dragged him down the street.
Julie just stood there. "Aisha, as long as you have great friends by your side you will only get stronger." she thought. "We'll see each other again no doubt."
Meanwhile on Fabrega Lord Oeruaqx was sitting in his throne and he was looking at six Fabregan Brawlers. "I have summoned the six of you here for a very important mission. Daro Zevion, Phoenix Mistral, Zavanna Silver, Isolde Martiuns, Enki Savitr and Andreas Floure. All of you are being sent to the planet of Earth for your next assignment.
"What is it your lordship." Daro asked.
"Kiss up." Pheonix muttered.
"You will be sent to Earth to find and retrieve Pyrus Fusion Dragonoid. You objectives are to bring him here or destroy him. We cannot let a Bakugan of such power exist in the hands of a human."
"We understand your lordship. I will make sure the mission goes well." Daro said as he was on his knees.
"You are all dismissed." and the six began to leave but Oeruaqx called back Daro. "Daro may I have a word with you." he walked back.
"What is it you wish to tell me?"
"I want you to keep an eye on Zavanna Silver. I hear from Andreas that she is questioning whether humans are inferior to us. Make sure you keep eyes on her at all times." he commanded.
"I will fulfill your wish my lord." and he walked away to join his teammates.
Next Chapter Preview: Cameron POV
It's been an exciting few days but after a day of battling. I decide to head to an empty area of the city after school, but I meet up with that alien girl from before. But it turns out that she's only here because she and her other friends are after something. I guess I'll have to bring my A game when these space invaders come knocking. How will it turn out? Well there's only one way to find out and that is to stay tuned to see what happens next time. This will be action like you've never seen before.
