Shifting Tides

So this is my very first fan fiction. Korra discovers that she has no romantic feelings for Mako. Does she actually have feelings for a certain green eyed girl? Set after the season one episode "Out of the past". I would appreciate any constructive criticism that can be given. I've had this story on my mind for a while, so I hope you all like it. 11. Not a chapter (sorry)

General Update

Hey guys, sorry that this isn't a chapter. It's been a little over a month and even though I don't have a chapter ready, I thought I should touch base with you all about what's going on. So, here it is:

I'm probably not going to have a chapter ready for you this week. I'm sorry, but I'm sure you can understand how life gets in the way sometimes. My schools drama department just finished the first weekend of our spring musical, of which I was a part of. As I'm sure you can imagine, rehearsal for that has taken up a lot of my time as of late, and we still have two more shows to put on this weekend. Also, there's just school in general. I'm going to be graduating in a couple of months so I'm working really hard to try and go out with a bang in terms of grades, so that requires a fare amount of my focus and time.

I do hope to have a chapter posted within the next couple of weeks. Once the play is over my schedule should open up considerably. On the subject of school, I still have to make that a priority. I think my plan is that I will make writing this story my reward for finishing homework and studying. I have the general idea of the chapter planned out in my head (I think you all are gonna like where this story is going).

Thank you all so much for your patience and support. You guys are my motivation and my inspiration. You're the reason why Shifting Tides is so close to receiving 10,000 views (I still can't believe that). While I obviously can't promise punctuality, I do promise that whenever I do give you guys something, it will be the best that I can possibly make it. You deserve nothing less.

So there you go, you're all caught up. Once again, thank you all so much for your support. I'm sorry if you're disappointed that this isn't a chapter, but I thought it was necessary to give you something, even if it's just an explanation. If you disagree, feel free to chew me out in the reviews… but be gentle ;) . In all seriousness though, I hope to give you all a new chapter in the near future. Until then, stay tuned.
