Wowww it's been almost a year since I've updated this. I really love writing this story. It's been in my drafts for a month.

The road was dark. The sky was dark. The street lamps were dark. There was a possibility she wouldn't be returning back, but she had to do it for Chris and Harvey.

"Where is the sun when you need it..." She mumbled bitterly to herself.

The tree house left her sight. She didn't know how long it would take to get there.

"That's it." She whispered, staring at the house that was on the horizon.

Bridget couldn't sleep. With her brother held for hostage she kept tossing and turning. The thoughts that clouded her brain made her want to just scream. She sat up in the dark, scanning the room. She couldn't see anything; the room was dark. She didn't want to get up and go in the living room. She didn't want be alone; she was afraid to be alone. Laying back down, she sighed and wanted her brother back. She couldn't run the sector.

Kaycie approached the house slowly. She began to shake in fear. What if this really it? She bit her bottom lip and reluctantly edged her way towards the house. The electric fence buzzed in the night air. How was she suppose to get passed that fence?

She reached her hand out to touch the fence and waited for it to shock her, but the shock never came. She opened her eyes. Why wasn't it electrocuting her? She pulled her hand away. A fly buzzed above her head and hit then fence; dying with a zap. She placed her hand on the fence and waited for it to shock her again, but it didn't. Instead it looked like it was reading her hand.

"This makes no sense..." She mumbled in confusion.

Then it hit her. Her DNA. The villains often held meetings at Father's mansion. Meaning would be there; Of course he would make Father create the fence so that it wouldn't harm his daughter, also Kaycie's mother. A smirk appeared on her lips and she proceeded to climb the fence.

Lauren awoke from tossing and turning. She sat up and glanced around the room before settling on where her best friend should have laid. Instead the space was empty. Lauren carefully got up and went to look for her among the tree house. She checked every room and still saw no sign of Kaycie.

"Oh my gosh..." Her eyes widened as she realized the possibilities of what happened.

She rushed in her black socks back to the room they were all staying in and flipped the light switch on, despite the protests of the girls as they were awoken from their slumber.

"Kaycie is gone." Lauren informed

them frantically.

Bridget blinked twice before responding, "What do you mean gone?"

"Are you sure she didn't just go somewhere else in the tree house?" Kuki inquired.

Lauren groaned before hastily replying, "I have checked every single square inch of this treehouse and she is no where to be found!"

Rachel's head began to feel like it was spinning to a point where she felt nauseous. Fanny's heart dropped and all she wanted to do was run to Patton.

"You don't think..." Christy started, not really wanting to hear the end of the sentence.

Lauren winced at her words.

"DYLAN!" She hollered, racing down the hall.

All the boys groaned in complaint as she flicked on the lights.

"What the hell, Lauren?" Dylan hissed, squinting his eyes.

"Kaycie is gone and I have checked the entire tree house!" Lauren shrieked.

Patton's stomach dropped.

"Are you sure you checked everywhere? She's small. She fits into small places." Ben joked.

Lauren's blood pressure level rose as she shook with anger.

"BENJAMIN PENNYWHISTLE GILLIGAN OF ALL TIMES TO MAKE JOKES THIS IT NOT IT!" She continuously slapped him.

"Alright, Lauren! I'm sorry okay!" He apologized and rubbed his newly injured area.

Lauren flicked her straight blonde hair over her shoulder and rubbed her temples. Jeremy placed a hand on her shoulder in an effort to calm her. She just simply embraced him and buried her head in his chest. On the outside Jeremy looked calm, however on the inside he was freaking out.

"Everyone into the living room." Nigel ordered.

Patton got up quietly and rushed out of the room before anyone noticed. He scanned the hallway for a familiar red head.

"Patton!" She cried out, hugging him tightly.

He was taken back but quickly embraced her tightly, placing a kiss on the crown of her head.

"She's going to be okay, Fanny." He cooed.

She just hid her face in his shoulder. It's rare that Fanny would show any emotion besides anger. The pair walked into the living room to be with the others.

"Numbuh 5 thinks this has somethin' to do with it." She held up a single sheet of paper, "They say it's what you make. -Kaycie."

Everyone's mouth dropped and Patton felt like the room was spinning. That was his quote.

"Where do you think she went...?" Tyler questioned.

Rachel shut her eyes and placed her hands over her face. Silence filled the room because honestly no one knew.

"Why would she even go?" Ross furthered.

Guilt began to form in Patton. Did she leave because he said he didn't want her as a daughter? Rachel couldn't take the pressure anymore.

"I let her go." She breathed out.

All of their heads turned to her.

"What?" Fanny blinked.

Rachel sighed, knowing they would all hate her now, "When Kaycie pulled me into the room a few days ago she begged for permission to go after Harvey and Chris. I told her no, but I realized that no one was going to be able to stop her. She's Kaycie Drilovsky. She's the offspring of Famny and Patton. There is no stopping her."

Lauren held a face of betrayal as well as Fanny. Patton and Dylan had an incredulous look on their faces.

"So you let her go after them? ARE YOU CRAZY?" Lauren began to yell.

"Lauren, stop. My, forgive me, mom is right. Kaycie would have gone either way." Bridget tried to reason with her.

"We could have stopped her!" Brooke held back tears.

Ben half hugged Brooke, trying to stop her from crying.

"Would you listen to what you are saying? This is Kaycie we're talking about. Don't get me wrong, I love Kaycie, but she would have gone even if Rachel had stressed the 'no'. There is no stopping Kaycie Lynn Drilovksy." Ross rolled his eyes at them.

Dylan winced at her full name. He always mocked her as Kaycie Lynn.

"Rachel, where did she go...?" Virginia inquired.

Rachel rubbed her temple, "Father's Mansion."

Hoagie squinted his eyes and commented, "There is no way she can get in there. He put up a fence around his entire mansion that would zap and fry her."

The future kids held looks of panic. Abby took of her hat and slapped him on the head.

"Fool." She muttered to herself.

Kaycie slipped through the basement window. It was almost too easy. Just a perk of having DNA of Fanny Fulbright. Now she just had to see where Chris and Harvey were. She began climbing up the stairs until she heard a voice call her name.

"Kaycie?" A voice whispered.

The black haired girl froze in her place and scanned the dark room.

"Kaycie!" It exclaimed in a whisper tone.

The voice was familiar. It couldn't be...

"Chris?" She whispered back.

"Yes!" He answered.

"Are you really Chris...?" She squinted her eyes.

The voice sighed before proving it, "You are Kaycie Lynn Drilovksy. You hate your braces and you have a crush on Dylan. I'm Christopher James Uno. I have a crush on Christy."

Kaycie's expression softened upon realizing it really was Chris.

"Chris, where are you?" She questioned.

"I'm in the corner. Follow my voice."

She followed the voice and saw her sector leader sitting chained on the ground.

"Chris!" She hugged him tightly.

He attempted to hug her back, the chains stopping him.

"We all missed you so much. The sector fell apart without you." She was on the verge of tears.

Chris took in everything she said and calmed her. Besides Jeremy, Chris was like her other older brother. She wiped away the tears and unhooked the chains from his wrist.

"Are you okay?" She questioned him.

He brushed off some dirt and rubbed his sore shoulder. It was clear he had cuts on his face.

"I'm good, Kace." He grinned down at her.

She smiled and looked around the dark room.

"How did you get past the fence?" He raised an eye brow.

She held up her hand and smirked, "Fanny's DNA."

He smirked and high fived her. He looked around the room and then settled on the window.

"Where's Harvey?" She glanced at him.

"They took him upstairs. We can come back for him. I need to get you out of here before they come back down." Chris rushed.

They slid the window back open and escaped the basement. The two climbed out the basement window but were stopped by the fence.

"Climb on my back." Kaycie started.

The brown haired boy raised an eyebrow and scanned the girl. She was at least half of his size. He was a football player for crying out loud.

"Kaycie, I would crush you." He laughed slightly.

"It's the only way we'd make it over the fence!" She exasperated.

He bent down and she sighed, climbing on his back. She put her hands on the fence and it read them.

"This is extremely difficult." Chris breathed out.

Once they were on top of the fence Kaycie jumped off of his back onto the grass. He followed soon after to avoid being fried.

"I should have took that training seriously." She rolled over onto her stomach.

"Shit. I landed on a tree branch." He groaned.

Lauren kept pacing in front of the TV.

Brooke placed a hand on her shoulder and stopped her. Lauren smiled down at Brooke, she knew she was just trying to help. Rachel buried her head in her hands and Nigel rubbed her back. The tension between Rachel and everyone else was high.

"You guys could go after her. Me and Sophia could stay here." Maddie tried to sooth things.

Kuki smiled at the small girls and patted their heads. They looked up at her and softly smiled.

"We're going to get her back." She reassured them.

Maybe the ones who needed reassuring weren't Maddie and Sophia, but the rest of the team.

"Do you think she'll come back?" Sonya quietly asked Ross.

He looked at his mom and created a half smile with his lips. She knew what he meant. After being close to Lee all of these years she learned how to understand facial expressions.

"My dad is going to kill me." Jeremy groaned to Dylan and Tyler.

"About that promise?" Dylan furthered, not looking up at him.

Jeremy nodded drug his hands down his face. Dylan played with a lose thread on his shirt. The 3 boys were currently sitting on the table.

"It's been 2 hours." Sophia pointed out, gazing at the clock.

Patton looked over at Jeremy. His face was hidden behind his hands as he conversed with Dylan and Tyler. He felt horrible. The tree house began to crack as if someone was pulling on the branches. Nigel's eyes widened and he looked at Numbuh 2. The tree house was very well built; it shouldn't crack or anything.

"What was that...?" Kuki questioned in a quiet voice.

As the breeze blew through the window a figure appeared. Bartie got out his scamper and the rest followed. Bridget flicked the lights off so they could be hidden. The figure climbed through the window.

"FREEZE!" Rachel ordered as Brooke put the lights back on.

Chris held up his hands. Everyone gasped and dropped their weapons.

"CHRIS!" Christy yelled and ran to hug him.

He embraced the girl tightly and breathed in her scent. Kaycie climbed through the window and landed on her feet.

"Kaycie!" Fanny exclaimed and held her daughter.

"Hey momma." Kaycie smiled and returned the hug.

"Kaycie Lynn Drilovksy, I'm going to kill you." Lauren angrily said and hugged her.

Chris smiled at them and continued to hug Brooke. She was worried.

"Finally missed me, Bridget?" He joked and hugged his younger sister.

She held back tears and whispered to him how she couldn't run this sector. He patted her back.

"How did you get passed the fence?" Hoagie inquired.

Chris and Kaycie exchanged smirks before turning back to them.

"Fanny's DNA. With me being the offspring of Fanny, Mr. Boss' daughter, it didn't shock me." Kaycie explained to them.

Their eyes widened. Fanny stared at her hand and realized the power of it.

"That means if we send Fanny, Kaycie, and Jeremy out there, they would make it passed the fence." Ben looked up from the ground.

"You're not sending them out there." Virginia corrected him.

The rest of them nodded their heads in agreement with her.

"Theoretically." He furthered.

Bridget blinked before glancing at them.

"Does this mean we have an advantage over Father..?" She brought up.

Chris' eyes lit up in excitement. That answered her question.

"Kids Next Door, break and meet back in 20." Nigel raced out the door.

Kaycie stood their for a moment rubbing her head.

"I'm so sorry about earlier, Kaycie. You are the best daughter ever and your name is extremely cool." Patton breathed as he suddenly embraced her.

She was shocked at the sudden contact but returned the motion.

"Kaycie, I was so worried. You nearly gave me a heart attack." Jeremy spoke to the girl.

She sighed and slung an arm around her brother.

"I'm your favorite." She smiled.

He rolled his eyes at her. This was just the start of the finish.

Until next time. Love you guys.
