Epilogue

The garage door was open when Leo arrived, so he knocked on the wall to alert Seis of his presence.

The man was standing in the middle of the room, across from the cars, by the table. A wrinkled business card was in his hand and he didn't look away from it when he waved for Leo to come in.

"So, I'm guessing he's gone?" Leo asked, joining Seis at the table after closing the garage door behind him.

"Yeah," the man muttered, finally tearing his gaze from the business card and shoving it into his pocket. "He talked to you?"

"To say goodbye, yeah," Leo confirmed. "He thinks... Well, he said that you said that once he's gone..."

But before he could finish the thought, the garage door was pushed open with a loud creak. Leo and Seis both turned to it, staring in shock at the entryway.

Because there stood Nico di Angelo.

Leo frowned and whispered, "But I thought..."

"There you are!" Nico called to Leo, grinning as he tossed his backpack in a corner and came towards them. "I've been looking for you everywhere. God, Leo, you can't just walk out on me like that, that's not how this relationship works." He ruffled Leo's hair, then reached out to give Sies a fist-bump. "Seis, my man! Are you ready to get to work? I am so excited to finish this damn car."

Before either Leo or Seis could react, much less respond, Nico was moving again, grabbing a towel from the wall and surveying the cars laid out in front of him. "Oh my god, did McLean send in her Porsche again?" he complained, wiping off the car just to have something to do. "I'll bet you twenty bucks there's nothing to fix, she's just driving it wrong."

Leo and Seis exchanged glances, Leo holding back a smirk, as Nico crouched down to inspect the underside of the car, never ceasing his string of conversation as he went. "Leo, do me a favor, order some pizza, will you? I'm starving. I can't believe they make us go to school all day and don't even give us good food- I mean, honestly, you'd think it wouldn't be that hard to feed a bunch of teenagers- we'll eat pretty much anything. Except for the slop they feed us now. Oh! By the way, did you hear Rachel Dare's in town? Turns out her cousin's super hot."

It was then that Nico got to his feet, having finished that part of his inspection, but was unable to keep talking because Leo rushed forward and cut him off with a hug.

Nico went rigid, letting Leo hug him but not making a move to hug him back. "Bro, what are you doing?"

Leo stepped away, but continued to grin at the other boy. "I'll, uh, go order the pizza now."

He made his way to Seis's office, unable to stop smiling, as Nico kept talking like nothing had happened ("Seis, you should totally work on Piper's car, cause I don't want to. It'll only take a few minutes, but I really want to finish my car so I can drive it home and brag to Bianca, since I'll have a car with brakes that actually work.").

Leo had missed his best friend.

A/N: I have many feelings about Human Nico fun fact. Hope you liked it, thanks again for reading this fic. Please review! (If I could get 8 reviews that'd be great, I'd love to end this fic with 100 reviews). See you next time!
