Chapter 11

" Wang can you hand this to Mei when she walks in." I asked grabbing the envelope from under my suit and hands it to the tall Xingese man in front of me.

"Of course." Wang smiles and grabs the envelope from me sticking it under the counter.

It's Now or never i guess.

I heard the bell jingle from the front of the small store indicating that Mei had finally arrived. I grab the roses from the nearby table and double check my pockets making sure that the ring was still there.

Yup still there. Okay al, this is it now or never.

I quickly fix my tux and double check my hair before finally making my way to the front of the store.

Mei

I walked into Wang's expecting to see Al sitting at one of the tables, Unfortunately though my boyfriend was nowhere in sight. I look down at the note in my hand and reread it confused.

Mei,Meet me at Wang's at 8 tonight.

I look up at the clock sitting on the wall. Eight o'clock on the dot, so then where in the world was Alphonse?

"Al told me to give this to you." Wang sang and hands me an envelope. I thank him and open the envelope quickly pulling out the slip of paper and unfolds it.

Mei, I can't picture life without you in it. Only you, you're the only thing I'll see forever. In my eyes, in my words, and in everything I do.

I want to grow old with you Mei Chang because you complete me.

and Make me the happiest guy in all of Xing/Amestris.

"So Mei, Will you do me the honors of being called your husband and marry me?" I turned around quickly to see Al down on one knee roses in one hand and the ring in the other. I felt my eyes began to water as i look down at my boyfriend.

Or rather my fiance..

"Yes!" I cried pulling Alphonse into a tight hug. "I Love you, so freaking much Al!'

"I love you too."

Ling

You proposed to Mei!?" Ling asked excitedly looking from Mei then back to me.

"Yup, Wang was nice enough to let me use his restaurant to propose 'since I was a regular customer' ."

"Thats amazing, Congratulations you two!" Lan fan said walking out from the back room Jian not far behind.

"I have to go call brother." I said dismissing myself from the small group and walks over to the phone.

Ed

"I got it!" I yelled out to Winry who was resting on one of the chairs in the kitchen. I pick up the receiver and put it up to my ear. "Hello?"

"Brother!"

"Al, is everything alright?" I asked switching the phone to my other ear.

"I did It brother. I proposed to Mei!" Al exclaimed excitedly.

I felt a smile make its way to my face. My baby brother is getting married!

"Al, that's amazing, Congratulations!"

"What's going on?" Winry who was now standing at my side asked. I hand the phone to her letting Al explain what was going on. I watch as a smile broke out on Win's face just like mine had seconds ago.

"Congratulations Al, I'm so happy for you!"

My little brother is getting Married!

Man I wish mom was here right now. I bet she would of been so proud of both of us.

A week later

"Al just the Man i wanted to see!" Ling yelled as soon as I had walked into the throne room

"What's up?" I asked closing the doors behind me. I look back over to Ling who had a evil smirk glued to his face.

That was never good..

"Kali, I want you to meet Al. Mei's fiance." A girl who looked about my age stepped out from behind ling's chair. A small smile making its way onto her face.

"Who's she?" I asked.

"This is Lan fan's sister Kali. She's also your wedding planner."

"You hired a wedding planner!" I exclaimed, looking at the girl again.

"This is a Very important day for all of Xing Al, This will be the first ever Xingese,
Amestrian wedding."

"I know this is very important Ling, but Mei and I were really looking forward to planning our own wedding and besides, we don't even know if were going to have the wedding here or in Amestris."

"Well either way you're stuck with Kali, she's already been paid to plan your wedding." Ling said standing up. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a meeting in thirty minutes with the elders and need to finish paperwork."

"And by paperwork you mean make out with my sister for thirty minutes till it's time for your meeting?" Kali mocked, making ling turn slightly pink.

"Whatever, i'll see you later" I watch as ling steps off his throne and made his way to the back room were i'm guessing Lan fan and Jian were. I laugh quietly before turning to look at the girl beside me.

"Well let's go tell Mei the good news."

"MY IDIOT BROTHER DID WHAT!?" Mei yelled loud enough for the entire palace to hear.

I sighed loudly and sit down next to my ranting Fiancée. I knew Mei had been really excited to plan this wedding. She wanted to make it with mixed customs and lots of red and gold roses, because those were one of Mei's mother's favorite flowers. Now we can't do any of if because of Ling.

"Lets just make the most out of it Mei, If anything maybe we can talk to Ling about changing some things." I said and look down at my fiancee who was half a sleep.

"But for now, get some rest my princess, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow."

"I love you Al."
