After the events of Dark Souls 2 branch off to mini events that happen during or after the hundreds of years of Naruto being King and his early years as Naruto.
Naruto is over one thousand year old, only Ornstein, Sif and those he met or things he kept during the event of Dark Souls are older than him by a thousand or hundred.
PS-I know many are tired of flashback and stuff, well this is character development and make the fic bit longer, if I wanted I could easily end the fic in six chapters kill volt, free the princess, kill the rest of his gang then lemon bang happy ending. I want to show how Naruto got this power or his Kingdom and how he met some of the characters who are his allies.

Chapter 11-Memories of the Crownless King part 3-Memories of the Abyss
Anyway let the story go on!
In the Age of Ancients,
The world has unformed, shrouded by fog
A land of grey crags, archtrees, and everlasting dragons
But then there was Fire
And with Fire came Disparity. Heart and cold, life and death, and of course…Light and Dark.
Then, from the Dark, They came
And found the Souls of Lords within the flame.
Nito, the first of the dead
The Witch of Izalith, and her daughters of chaos
Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight, and his faithful knights
And the furtive pygmy, so easily forgotten
With the Strength of Lords, they challenged the dragons.
Gwyn's mighty boltspeeledapart their stone scales
The witches weaved great firestorms
Nito unleashed a miasma of death and disease
And Seath the Scaleless betrayed his own, and the dragons were no more
Thus began the Age of Fire
But soon, the flames will fade, and only Dark will remain…
This was the tale of the beginning…
The Past: Castle Drangleic Below
It's almost over his journey is almost over this long endless journey will be at last over. He journey far across the lands searching for what he needed, for he desire for what he wanted.
But deep inside of what reminds of his heart, his mind and his soul he knew this wasn't his final challenge. He came to Drangleic defeating those in his way and aided those upon his journey. But now the Bearer of the Curse, The Chosen Undead, the man who walks with Death and Darkness.
His name was Naruto Uzumaki.
The journey taken its toll over him, his mind shatter upon the deaths that fell upon him. But being a curse undead a true death was out of his reach, curse to live and relive again and again until he become Hollow.
But his will was strong, he refuse to give in and all he can do is move on and journey on until his body or his will breaks.
Naruto wore the armor set of King's armor, he found a set of Vendrick's armor down the path to where Vendrick was hiding.
But knowing the truth that the fall of a Kingdom was started by the aid of a woman, the woman who later became the King's wife, control the Kingdom from the shadows and brought it peace, a peace so deep as if it was…the Dark.
Naruto sat down on the stairs that will guild him to the basement of the Castle. Tired he was, so, so, so tired he was. Losing the memories of his former life bit by bit and the lives of those he knew and loved, but deep within his heart he felt their bond still exist but their faces, their names their roles they played were covered in black fog in his mind.
The Curse of Life, is the Curse of Want.
In his right hand he held the Crown of King Vendrick and in his left hand he held the Crown of another King, but his name was forgotten in time but his title was known as the Sunken King.
"Bearer of the Curse." A woman's voice spoke to the Chosen Undead Uzumaki.
Naruto looked back and saw the woman behind him. She was the Fire-keeper of the Bonfire that was sign of hope for those cursed undead.
The woman wore a long green colored hood that covered her long reddish-brown hair, she wore a brown golden dress with a large cross on the chest of the outfit, she wore long brown gloves. And all ways through his journey she had the same frowning expression of sadness and pity.
She had heterochromia as her left eye is brown, while her right which is hidden by her hair is purple.
"Leave me alone Fire-keeper…I grow sick the company of others. I've seen too many fall to the curse and hollow they became. You are the last person I wish to see fade." He looked away while frowning.
"Bearer of the curse I told you this once. I will always be at your side. Until hope has fully withered. That hope has yet to fade." She told him.
"Yes, but this body this soul…has been through so much. What brings you here?" He asked her.
"My journey is already complete. My name is Shanalotte." The Fire-keeper spoke her name, she pulled her hood off her head. She sat down beside the tired chosen undead.
"Cute name." He chuckled for a moment.
"The dragon gave me this name, for I was born with none. I was born of dragons, contrived by men. By ones who would cozen fate herself. They are the ones created me. But they failed." She frowned.
"Looked too human to be a spawn of dragon." He said while looking at her.
"However, I did not come out as intended." She removed her right hand glove and shown why she wear the gloves. Shanalotte's right hand was scaly with long nails she had the hand of a dragon, she was half dragon half human. Shanalotte brush the left side of her head pushing aside her hair, showing Naruto had a dragon's horn, a small horn but at a horn nonetheless.
"Fate would not be bested, and men were cursed once again. If you proceed, Nashandra will come after you, knowing that you will take the throne, and link the fire, the true throne of Vendrick lies." She pointed at a giant size gated door which was down below the stairs.
"The true throne is there?" He asked.
"She covets the First Flame, and the Great Soul. Please Nashandra to rest." Naruto felt Shanalotte hand lay on his right shoulder, he looked and saw in her eyes, she was worried not would happen but the fate of the chosen undead whom she helped and befriend during this journey, he was different from the others who she met and fell in battle.
"Let me rest…just for a little while…"
"Rest as much as you like bearer-"
"Naruto, my name's Naruto. Would you please call me that…Shanalotte?"
"Rest as much as you want Naruto…" She formed a lovely smile for the first time.
An hour spread away within that hour, Naruto rest his body healed as his mind and soul slumber but sleep only mock him showing small fragments memories of people he knew or people he wanted he knew, memories playing with his emotions mocking him to the edge of pain.
Naruto noticed Shanalotte was gone, he could thank her for helping him on this journey. No not just her but those he met on his journey those who became his friends and those he battle he learn so much.
Naruto walked down the stairs the gated doors open allowing him to enter where the True Throne lies, the Throne of Want.
The Throne of Want, why is it called that? What does it gives, what does it wants? The price that is the question that flood Naruto's mind, For the Curse of Life is the Curse of Want. That line he heard many, many times on this journey.
On his way to the true Throne of Vendrick, Naruto encounter two being The Throne Watcher and Throne Defender. They were Vendrick's last line of guarding the True Throne, the Throne of Want.
But they were no match for Naruto, the chosen undead grew too powerful upon his journey. The souls he gather upon his journey strengthen him, the bonds of others only added fuel to his burning soul to die and fade was a slap in the faces of those who fell on this journey.
He fought and won, he fought and won against all odds, no God, no King, no Knight or man would stop him he would win and win he shall, for the burden he carried he was heavier than any gold or any iron steel.
"Souls…souls….souls…souls…souls." He mumbled to himself over and over again.
"Chosen Undead…" A woman's voice spoke, turning around only to see Nashandra, the Queen of Drangleic, walking through the fog-gate that blocked the entrance to the Throne of Want.
Nashandra wore a bright yellow dress, she had blond hair wrapped in a bun hairstyle. She had tired gray eyes, much like her dear King Vendrick, Nashandra was a very, very, very tall person, she was the tallest woman Naruto ever encounter from what he remember she was about at least seventeen feet tall, but then Naruto notice she was smiling.
"My Undead, you have served me well. You have proven yourself worthy."
'Those eyes…I feel…like I've seen those eyes before…'
"Now…be one with the Dark." Nashandra wave her right towards the Uzumaki.
"Gah!" Naruto felt something attacking within his mind, his mind was being filled with nothing but darkness he felt the events that he journey was slowly being eaten away.
"I'm…I…my…memories…are…fading…no…ah…who…"
Naruto closed his eyes, his heart fell to pain he shed a tear as he felt the last piece of his past memory, the last piece of his former life faded from his mind.
The last piece of his memory was a woman with long red hair, alongside her was a man with blond spiky hair the two were smiling together.
"We love you…Naruto…" Were the words they said before their faces faded into darkness.
'Forgive me, forgive me for forgetting you, whoever you are. What role you played in my former life, may you be my friends, love ones, family. I cannot resist this curse anymore, but I promise…these new memories, memory I will create I will hold dear, I will not forget…who I am…'
"DON'T GIVE UP!" He heard a woman's voice call out to him.
"Huh? Who?" Naruto looked up and saw Nashandra and staring down, he gripped his sword and slash at the giant woman, his blade cut her dress below cutting her right leg.
"You want Dark! I'll give you Dark! I WILL SHOW YOU THE GREATEST NIGHTMARE!"
While her 'chosen undead' strike against her, Nashandra kept smiling as if she knew this would happen but why?
"Drown in the cesspool...of Darkness!"
Nashandra smiled held right hand in the air, in her right hand a glowing orb shine bright, Nashandra was surrounded by thick black fog, Naruto watched as Nashandra's appearance changed. Nashandra height remain the same, height of a giant however her skin turned jet black as her face morph into a skull with long bond straight hair, on top of her head was Crown, in her left hand a large giant black scythe appeared.
"Give me your darkness then, my dear undead." She chuckled.
Naruto charged at Nashandra, the Dark Queen swing her scythe at Naruto. The scythe cut through Naruto's armor like paper, he fell to his back. He held his chest to stop the bleeding from that cursed dark weapon.
"I…I'm not healing…why am I not healing?" He asked himself.
Nashandra reached and grabbed the Uzumaki, Naruto screamed as Nashandra ram her right hand into his chest, she was holding him in the air while holding on to his heart.
As Nashandra hold his heart, he felt the dark filled him his strength leaving his body.
"I won't…lose…I won't…you can filled me with the blackness of the Abyss…I won't give up…my soul…my fire won't…die."
"Those eyes, filled with fire…those eyes…your eyes are the same. The same eyes filled with light, I remember those eyes…on the day my father was killed."
"Father?" He looked confuse.
"My father, Manus." Nashandra chuckled.
The light from Naruto's eyes fade, soon he became a lifeless shell. The dark filled him so deep it consumed his light…or so Nashandra thought.
Suddenly Nashandra notice something bright was shining out from Naruto's chest. The light shine bright, Nashandra looked away while looking away, Naruto's right hand was cover in a deep bright orange colored. He grabbed Nashandra's face.
"AHHHH, IT BURNS!"Nashandra screamed.
Nashandra toss Naruto aside letting him go, while doing so Naruto tap his chest and his chest wound heal instantly.
Naruto clapped his hands and smash them to the ground, out from the ground large thick orange chains burst from the ground, each of the chains came out. The first two chains that came out impale Nashandra's left and right hands, the third and fourth chains wrapped around her neck and stomach, the fifth and sixth chains wrapped around her legs underneath her dress.
"Gah…what is this!?" She shouted.
The seventh and eighth chains wrapped around her hips and the ninth chain impaled Nashandra in the chest.
"Gah RAHH AHHHHH RAGHHH!" She screamed.
"Fire…Seal." He spoke the words.
All nine chains glow bright golden, Nashandra was force back into her human form it was as if Naruto sealed the darkness within her.
Nashandra looked at herself, her eyes widen in shock.
"What did you do? What happen? What did you do? I…can't feel…I can't feel the dark….WHERE'S MY DARK!?" Nashandra shouted with bloodlust in her eyes.
"I told you…my fire won't go out! The Abyss touch me…it WILL NEVER TOUCH ME AGAIN! Your dark curse may taken my memories, I have lost my former life memories…I HAVE NO PAST NOW!" He shouted at the Dark Queen.
"So tell me…how it feel…how it feel to have something you love taken from you? The seal I placed on you will keep the dark away from you. Nashandra you will never have the dark again."
"No! You can't do this to me! My undead you can't do this! I demend you free me! FREE ME."
"Sorry, but you're not my Queen. I follow my own path. A dear friend I told once, you don't need to find your Sun…when you always had it to begin with. The soul…the soul is your Sun and with strong will and strength that Sun will never be fade. The darkness may grow and may never disappear. But! Upon my journey I gather souls, and souls of the lost and they found a home in my soul, for my Soul is an undying light shining in the deepest Abyss."
"Damn you…" Nashandra growl.
"I won't kill you Nashandra…for within me a soul speaks to me, he deeply care for you even if you cause the fall of his Kingdom. You are his still "Dearness Nashandra" and if I do kill you, the darkness in your soul will birth another, like your father did so many years ago." He sighed.
"One day…I will be free." Nashandra frown.
"Maybe…but not today. Your Kingdom of Dark has fallen, Nashandra. The age of dark…will be over soon, very soon." Nashandra grew a smiled.
"My Kingdom of dark has fallen, but my dear undead…the dark will grow still, chain and bound I am but you cannot kill the dark."
"I don't need to kill it, I will stop it. Light and Dark are bonded together forever, I know that but I will bring balance."
"Ha, another Kingdom to rise only to fall. Every Kingdom has a King and every King has a Crown, a Crown that will break."
"I will be different from them. I will learn from their mistakes. I will build a Kingdom from the pit of the Abyss and raise it high to the Sun! I will have no Crown! I WILL BE THE CROWNLESS KING!" He beat his chest with his voice filled with Pride and Power!
Nashandra laughed, her laugh sound sad yet Naruto could feel she was…proud.
Naruto reached inside armor and took out what appear to be a broken pendent. Nashandra gasp once she saw the broken pendent.
"That's…"
"Yes, Manus's Pendent, a broken Pendent felt when held. A deep strong desire of want. Manus wanted this back so bad, he kidnap a Princess just to smooth the loneness of being awaken from such a long slumber of death. Manus; the father of the Abyss, the prim-human of man, and you Nashandra, heir to such a title child of dark."
"I was there, I was there when he fell. I could hear his roar as you slaughter him like a boar! Born alone with nothing, but a desire, a desire to be one…to be whole. Do you know what it's like to be born alone, no one to hold, no one to call you or give you a name?" She asked Naruto.
"Don't know…maybe I could understand you if I could remember. But sadly I cannot." He said with a cocky smirk.
"In a way…we are kin my undead." Nashandra crack a please smiled.
"You are Vendrick's Queen, to honor his wish you will live Nashandra."
"I was his 'Queen' but now I am your prison…my dear undead. Will you link the fire and take the true Throne? The power you have will not work with the power of One King."
"What do you mean?" He rise a brow.
"In the beginning there was fire and with fire, Four Great Being were born from its fire. You have the power of One, there are three others, Power of Light, Power of Chaos, Power of Death, Power of Dark…you my dear undead. Now have the power of Dark." Nashandra smiled.
"The irony I've been fighting the dark and yet I took it. So I need the power of these King if I am order to take the True Throne huh?" He asked the Queen of Dark.
"You know the answers are within. Go and collect the Crowns of the former Kings and the rest will follow, but it will take years…One drowned in poison. Another succumbed to the flame. Still another slumbered in the realm of ice. Not one of them stood here, as you do. You have proven yourself worthy…my dear undead."
Her words left with wisdom and doubt planned in the Uzumaki's mind. There other powers out there, the other Great Kings left behind their power, a power so great it was too dangerous to be left alone. In order to use the True Throne power and became true heir and maybe, just maybe he can end it, he can end the curse of the dark.
Naruto turned away and left, leaving a chained Nashandra alone, mocked that she may never reached the Throne of Want.
"Defeated me you have…but can you best my sisters, my dear undead. The Abyss has marked you that mark shall remain forever, may the Dark shine your way..."
And so the quest to reclaim the power of the Fallen Kings began for the Crownless King, a quest that would last for years and years to come.
One Year later: Naruto claim the Crown of the Iron King
"BACK AWAY TRATIOR!"
"It must be destroyed!"
"I WON'T LET YOU TOUCH HER!"
"GUYS STOP! I WON'T HAVE EITHER OF YOU FIGHT!" Naruto shouted in anger.
Raime, the Fume Knight and his brother in arms, Velstadt the Royal Aegis were at each other throats. Not too long after Naruto used the power of First Flames to give their souls form once more thus reviving them.
Raime remembered Naruto for he was the young King who defeated him, but he was also the man who revived him first.
Raime and Velstadt had deep roots in their relationship, for they serve the late King Vendrick. Raime was listed as a traitor to his King, but Raime had his reasons, a reason that neither Vendrick or Velstadt listed.
Before reviving the two knights, Naruto had revived another soul.
Nadalia, Bride of Ash. Another daughter of Manus; Father of the Abyss. Nadalia came to the Iron King's Kingdom seeking the King, but what she found was an empty Kingdom before the Iron King died long before she arrive. She longed for the company of another as if she desire to be with someone, though she didn't find her King what she found instant was a Black Raven, Aegis of Death, Raime.
Nadalia wore a gray colored robe, she wore a hood over her face, hiding her face from the sight of others. Nadalia was hiding behind Raime.
"Raime I'm afraid…" Nadalia said with a frown.
"Don't worry. My new KING won't harm you." He told the Bride of Ash.
"She's a spawn of the dark! She must be destroyed, don't get in my way Raime. You remember our last battle!" Velstadt shouted.
"Ah, you're one to talk! I warn you and the King of the Queen. You and Vendrick called me a traitor! I was weak then, but NOW I AM STRONG!" Raime pointed at his former brother in arms.
"Enough!" Naruto shout with thunder in voice "I revive you two, not to battle once more! I choose to give you two a second chance! King Vendrick rules no longer! I am Vendrick's successor."
The two Knights glare at one another, but then Raime kneel down on his right knee.
"Yes my Lord, forgive my actions. But I wanted to protect Lady Nadalia from harm. I am honor of this second chance."
"You are a strong warrior Raime, I remember our battle. Is this a request?" Naruto asked the Fume Knight.
"Yes, my lord. Please she's not like the others. She's…different. My lord you felt it, you spare her soul my lord."Naruto held out his left to silence.
"Nadalia," She peeked from hiding behind Raime once she heard Naruto's voice.
"Yes…my King?" The Bride of Ash address Naruto.
"Would you like to join me for dinner?" He said with a smile.
Nadalia looked surprise, she lower her head to hide her blush.
"It would be an honor my lord."
"Raime, Velstadt I will deal with you two later. For now Velstadt I want you on the east wing and Raime I want you on the west wing of my castle. Understood?"
The two Knights growl at one another but stopped once they heard Naruto growl loudly, the two bow their heads to their new King.
"Yes my lord."
End of memory of Crownless King:
Present Day: On The Forest Road
The other Princesses were being escorted by M, Sir Alonne. M looked up at the sky, while he escorted Mara back to her castle. M gripped his weapon tightly he was an outcast thrown away by life but Naruto took him in when no one wouldn't, trusting others was a past problem for him but as the years grew he started to trust people thanks to Naruto.
M was riding a white horse while Alonne and his men were on foot. Princess Kaguya was being was being carried in a carriage while Alonne's men his Alonne Knights carried the carriage while her maidens follow beside.
Mara was riding a black horse, she notice how shy M was acting, he wore a hood over his head either to keep his face hidden or the sun's rays bother him.
"Sir Alonne." Kaguya spoke.
"Yes Milady?" He answered.
"How is it you know, the Crownless King?" Kaguya addressed Naruto by his title; he made them promise only to speak of him by his title rather than his name. He felt a traitor within the ranks of the Princesses and so they promise to call him Crownless King.
"I know of him, because he saved my life. Or rather…he saved my soul."
"He saved your soul?" The Maiden Princess looked confuse.
"Yes, my former King…a friend whom I watch grew from a young Lord into a powerful King. As the years went on I saw my dear friend became greedy and I knew my time by his side came to an end. Sometime later, I encounter my former King and well…we battle."
"You won?" She asked.
"No, I fell in battle. I was dead but I heard a voice calling my name, when I woke up. I found myself in the care of the Crownless King. He found my soul and revived me through the power of First Flame. I owned him a great debt I could never pay for the kindness he offers me. He only asks for me to remain at his side."
"He is a kind man for a King." Her words made Alonne chuckle.
"Yes most King are not so kind. But my Lord he is kind, but even he shows a dark side when those he hold dear falls into danger. He told what became of my former King and the land. My former friend consumed and fell to the dark…" Alonne sighed.
"You two must have been close." Kaguya frowned.
"We were like brothers, but my new Lord, younger then my former King was when it came to leadership. I became his right hand upon the offer. He later placed me as Lady Astraea's watcher until she awaken."
"I am greatful to have you as my Guardian." The Shrine Maiden smiled.
"The pleasure is to serve you Milady."
"Tell me more of your tale, I wish to know more about you and your Lord." She said with an interest look.
"Very well…" M grew a smiled as he knew when it came to stories, Alonne knew how to make a story an epic one.
Flashback:
It was during the time when my lord was awoken to a new age of the world. Darkness rose once again threaten the world and the land my Lord protected.
However, my Lord was stolen from us by thieves, thieves that were under the command of a powerful Emperor who wishes to unlock the secrets of my Lord's immortality, for death was only a slumber for my lord.
With the help of a woman by the name of Erza Scarlett, later on a Group of people called the Night Raid came and aid Erza in our mission to recover our Lord.
Only I and young master M were focus on saving the Crownless King. Naruto escaped with the help of Erza and Akame and her allies, however the path way to my Lord's Castle was blocked off and the use of magic teleportation was close off by a powerful spell and our pursuers were close behind, which lend the discovery of a new land, a land in which our Lord long search for.
The land of the Ivory King…
Frozen Eleum Loyce
A Kingdom trapped in the state of frozen winter. There its ruler, the Ivory King. The Ivory King said to build his throne over the mouth of Old Chaos. His frozen will was so strong, it froze the Old Chaos and those within its dark flaming grip.
The Ivory King took his best Knights with him when he went to challenge the Old Chaos, however neither him nor his chosen knights returned and the Kingdom fell into a deep, deep frozen winter.
Within this Kingdom stood an ancient temple wrung with freezing storms that rings with hollowing emptiness of the wind.
There was once a kind king who casted himself into the chaos for Alsanna, his beloved Children of the Dark.
"Why are we here again?" Asked a young teenager M.
The group were M, Naruto, Sir Alonne, Erza Scarlett, and the Night Raid were member Akame, Tatsumi and Mine. Everyone but Sir Alonne wore long fur long coats to keep their bodies warm from this winter weather.
"Another Kingdom I must search." Naruto spoke with a sigh.
"If you think we're moving from here, you must be mad. IT'S COLD HERE!" M shouted.
"I told you to dress warm." Naruto sighed.
"I did…this place is REALLY COLD!" Again he shouts.
"M you can go back, this place will be dangerous." Erza spoke.
"I'm not going back, especially in this!" he yells at Erza.
Naruto looked to his right and saw a Bonfire here, a Bonfire that undead such as him could use for transport, he active the link between here to his castle.
"M its ok we can handle this. Beside you can be backup, I need you to defend the castle while I'm away." Naruto said with a fatherly smile.
"Why me? You have your black knights I'm just a kid." M frowned. Naruto placed his hand son M's shoulder.
"Because…" He grin "You're…my number one…guy…" M soon smiled.
"Ok you got a point." Naruto patted him on the head.
"Tell the others we made it. There's a bonfire rest point on the front." M nod his head and took out a blue stone from his pocket. He closed his eyes and mumbled words as the blue stone gave a strong blue aura he pointed the blue stone at the Bonfire and in a flash M vanished before their eyes.
"What was that?" Tatsumi asked.
"One of my teleport stones, it gives the 'living' the ability to use Bonfire as a mean for travel. I should give each of you just in case trouble. Ok Mine and Tatsumi will be team one, team two will be Erza and I and team three will be Akame and Alonne." Everyone agreed with Naruto's plan and gave a big nod.
"And remember," He looked at his team. Everyone pay attention as they wonder what he was going to tell them.
"You may die in battle, but never with me."
One Hour Later: The Entrance Bonfire
"FUCK THIS PLACE!" Mine yelled.
"This place…so not right, this winter wind isn't helping there." Tatsumi groan.
"Ah there they are." The two heard Erza's voice. Tatsumi and Mine looked and saw Erza and Naruto. Tatsumi notice Naruto was holding a new weapon, the weapon seem to be an ice sword.
"Where did you get that?" Tatsumi pointed at the new weapon.
"Found it off one of the frozen corpse here." He explain the two.
"By corpse he means the Frost Knight that protected this place." Erza glared.
"Yeah…" He said with a nervously smile.
"He tried to take it by force didn't he?" Mine and Tatsumi said together, Erza answer with a nod.
"I want it, it looks so cool…no pun." Everyone but Naruto groan in disappointment.
"Naruto, everyone!" They heard Akame's voice.
"Found something?" He asked the red eyes woman.
"Yes, but there's a small problem." She frown a bit.
"What is it?" Tatsumi asked his friend.
"I believe Naruto's answer lies within the Giant Cathedral across a long bridge, the path isn't too far from the entrance, but." She paused.
"But what?" Erza asked.
"There is a guardian, a guardian we cannot see." Naruto looked and saw Alonne joining the group.
"There is a fog-gate that lends to the path, but I found a message from a corpse. The message says the guardian cannot be seen during this storm, but with special eyes the unseen can be seen. We also found soldiers from outer lands here, corpses they are." Akame explained the rest.
"So this Kingdom has been empty for a very long time. I wonder how long? Seeing we found no living resident but hollows here, this place must be old, very old. Possible this place was build around Vendrick's or the Iron King's era." Naruto guessed.
"Old kings?" Mine asked.
"Yeah, Alonne was once the Iron King's right hand, and I am Vendrick's successor."
"The storm getting worst, we'll freeze if this keeps up." Mine hugged herself as her teeth chatter.
"My Lord what shall we do?" Alonne waited for his King's command.
"You guys can return to my castle. I'll continue my search." He said with a strong nod.
"I will remain here also." Alonne spoke.
"So will I." Akame also said.
"Akame, you sure?" Mine looked bit surprise.
"Yes," Akame nod her head "I will meet you guys back when we return."
"Very well, see ya when ya get back." Tatsumi took out a blue stone, he pointed at the Bonfire as both him and Mine vanish in the blink of the eye.
"Ok…let's go on." Naruto, Erza, Alonne and Akame journey on in search for the special eye that they needed.
While they were searching on the right side of the Ivory Kingdom, another group arrived.
"So this is The Ivory Kingdom I've never heard such a Kingdom exist." A woman spoke.
"Yes, it surprise me as well Esdeath. But are you sure it safe being here? We're outside from the Empire." A young man spoke while sighing. The young man had short black hair, his eyes were black, he wore a dark blue coat with a small red scarf around his neck.
"Wave, we are here for one thing." She paused for a moment "Naruto-kun is here, could it be he's looking for a new castle? Whatever the reason I won't let him escape me again." She smiled.
"But he will have his bodyguard with him this time." Wave mention.
"Ah the Dragonslayer, I will deal with him." Esdeath smiled.
"No, I'm talking about the Samurai." Wave said.
"Neither one will stand in my way. Naruto-kun will be mine, he's all I've been thinking about. I can't stop thinking about him. His handsome face and that wonderful smiled of his." Esdeath felt her heart beat loudly every time she thought about the Uzumaki.
'Guess Naruto-san really left a big impact in Esdeath's heart.' Wave grew a smiled.
"So…this is guy like very strong or something?" A young female voice spoke.
"Yes, do not believe he is weak. Naruto-kun defeated my best men with ease, he also aided the Night Raid and defeated most of our members." Esdeath explained to her new members.
The woman was a young slender with long, straight hair. She wore a variation of a white uniform, consisting of a hooded-cloak, a thigh-length trench coat, knee-high boots, a miniskirt and black stockings. She wears a heart-shaped belt buckle and a white cap which emblazoned the group that Esdeath created, the Jaegers.
The young woman's name was Bambiette Basterbine, she was known as E-"The Explode" and like her title her signature skills were bomb creation.
Beside Bambiette was another female.
This female was taller and well-endowed then Bambiette, she had long, green hair and has green eyes. prominent eyelashes and thin, thunderbolt shaped eyebrows. Her uniform was slightly more revealing, midriff and unbuttoned to display her cleavage, wearing pair of short-shorts.
Her name was Candice Catnipp, she was also known as T-The Thunderbolt.
"It's fucking COLD HERE! We better get a reward for bringing this guy in." Candice shouted.
'Our new members…don't know if we were better short-handed or not.' Wave thought.
"I told you to dress warm." Wave said to Candice.
"S-s-s-shut your face!" She said while chatting her teeth.
Few hours later:
"Ok we got…the eye." Erza said while looking at Naruto. In Naruto's right hand held an eyeball that belong to the corpse of a maiden. However this eye was special, with it they were able to see the unseen within this winter storm.
"I only wish to borrow your sight, I will return it to you after my quest." Naruto said to the corpse of the maiden.
Naruto and the group made to the bridge that connected to the temple across the kingdom. While walking across the giant long bridge, the group couldn't help but hear the sound of something sleeping.
But suddenly a woman's voice called out to the group, the voice echoes through the room.
"Turn back now…The Old Chaos Hungers still…"
"The old chaos…what is that?" Akame asked.
No one was sure what the voice meant however, one person did.
"Damn…" Naruto mumble.
"Something's wrong?" Akame notice the frowning expression Naruto made.
"No…it's nothing. Let's move on." His answer made everyone worried.
'The old chaos….you once spoke of this my lord.' Alonne thought.
"This dead city has nothing to offer. Go back. Do not seek the Old Chaos, nor it's twisted flame. Do not come closer…Aava watches over."
"Aava?" Erza asked.
Suddenly the group heard the sound of a growling beast, the weather wasn't helpful since they couldn't see a thing, it seems the core of this blizzard was very close.
Naruto notice something running towards the group, and it was aiming right for Erza, it had two long sharp saber fangs. Naruto ran towards the red head and pushed her out of the way.
It was one of the Ivory King's seven pets, Aava the giant white saber-tooth tiger.
Aava roared at the group as it ran towards the group, everyone dodge its tackle attack. Naruto while dodging deliver a quick strike to Aava's right leg, the tiger show a small sign of bleeding as everyone could see a large red spot running around.
Sir Alonne withdraw his katana and charge for the tiger, Aava open its mouth ready to bite the Samurai Knight, but Alonne grabbed the tiger by the mouth and held it with all his might.
"NOW!" Alonne yell.
Erza summoned a great lance and threw it at Aava's right-side which impaled the tiger deliver great damage. Naruto watched as he saw Akame was about to deliver the killing blow, but then Aava let out a roar which send a powerful shockwave that pushed all away.
Aava was wounded but the will of this saber-tooth was strong. Naruto saw it in Aava blue eyes, but then Naruto saw it, he saw something special something great, a look he was so familiar with.
Aava looked at the Crownless King and fell to it's the ground, the blow that Erza deliver was a strong one, in which cause heavy bleeding for the great beast.
Naruto walked over to the Saber-Tooth Tiger, Aava growl in respond.
"I will cause no trouble…Aava. I wish to see your master, you remind me of a dear old friend of mine. Though not as big…but shares the will to obey your master's wish." Naruto spoke of Sif, a dear old friend of his, but unlike Aava, Sif was a giant gray wolf.
Aava lay its head down before closing its eyes, dead it was not tired it was.
Naruto placed his right hand over the wound and healed the wounded tiger, it would be sometime before Aava regain his strength.
The group moved on to their next location.
After bathe with Aava:
Naruto and the group enter the temple after opening its large doors. But then a woman's voice echoes through the large room which was the throne room of Ivory.
"To think Aava could be bested…who are you?"
"I am the Crownless King." He introduced himself.
"This land is barren, cursed by the Old Chaos. It gave birth atrocities, and the people fled in fear."
"Until our lord, the Ivory King, came. My dear lord, a most true king. It was with his magnificent soul that he built Eleum Loyce and contained the spread of Chaos."
'So its burns still even to this day.' Naruto thought.
"But the Chaos would not be sated, and the King gave his own soul. Inevitably, the King was drained of vigour, and plunged into the Chaos's heart. Eleum Loyce was frozen in time, it's leader lost…I remain here, to contain the Chaos, honouring my Lord's wishes. Perhaps one day, he will return…"
"I see, I'm sorry to hear your lose." The Crownless King frown.
"There is nothing here, save that accursed flame…I have but one wish."
"What is your wish?" Naruto asked the voice.
"That my dear Lord might be freed from that unspeakable Chaos, I haven't the strength to help him myself, but perhaps one such as you…though I am yet to know your name, stranger, will you lend me your strength?"
"I help those in need and you and your Kingdom are indeed in needed help." He told the voice.
"Kind visitor, I thank you. Let me open the path to Chaos. And please, do all you can. Many of Eleum Loyce's faithful knights followed their Lord into the Chaos. But not one of them returned. The King's dutiful subjects waited patiently for his homecoming. But it was too long a wait to bear…"
Across the throne room a giant block of ice blocked a pathway, suddenly the path blocked by ice shatter to pieces.
"The knights of Eleum Loyce await a new leader. One who will guide them into Chaos.
Naruto heard sound of armor clicking, he looked up and saw about four white color Knights walking down the stairs. They took a kneeing bow to the Crownless King.
"Guys," Naruto spoke.
"Yes Naruto?" Erza asked.
"Where we may go…we may not have a way back. The Old Chaos a place that flames burn greater than the flames of hell. The Old Chaos…a twisted form created from the failed attempt of recreating the First Flames." He explained to everyone.
"You're asking us to follow you to Hell." Erza smirked.
"I've fought through worst." Alonne said in a humor voice.
"More or less." He smirk right back.
"As if I allow you to be case into the fires alone!" Naruto heard a familiar woman's voice.
Turning around with a shock face only to be grabbed and kissed by the Sadist woman. Everyone was shock to see her and what she was doing to Naruto. Soon the others saw that Esdeath company three of her allies, one called Wave they were familiar with, but the other two were new.
"UNHAND HIM WOMAN!" Alonne ready his sword to slay their foe.
"There's no way I'm allowing you to throw yourself away. You're coming with me." She grabbed Naruto's right hand, but he pulled away which shocked her.
"Not now Esdeath. This is important, this is very important." He said while giving her a serious glare.
"I came to lands of unknown, you escape me once. I'm not letting you go again." Esdeath said with mean stare.
"Say what you want. I don't care, I have a job to do. Beside…this ties in with me." He said with a sadden frown.
"What do you mean?" Esdeath asked. All eyes dagger on the Crownless King as they waited for him to answer.
"This is not the first time, I've encounter the Old Chaos. Hundreds of years ago I defeated the Bed of Chaos and feed the souls that the Chaos consume, but it seems the power of Chaos still burns and has found a new vessel. I'm going to finish it once and for all." He turned away from Esdeath and walked on as the Knights of the Ivory King followed him.
Esdeath frown at first but smiled and followed her Naruto-kun.
"Follow me if you want or not. I'm heading in." Naruto told everyone.
Following the Knights to a small area, the small area was a room with a giant hole in the middle of the room.
"Into the mouth of Chaos huh" Erza said while looking down the hole.
"Ladies first." Naruto grin.
"No, you go first my LORD!" Erza kicked him.
"Naruto-kun wait for me!" Esdeath jumped down.
"I'm not going down there." Esdeath new members said while looking down the giant hole.
"GET DOWN HERE YOU TWO!" Esdeath shouted.
"Damn," They curse together. The two females jumped down.
"Wave," Akame spoke.
"Yes?" He asked.
"Did my sister come with you guys?" Akame asked with curious look.
"No, Esdeath wanted her to stay behind, she being watched over by Bols and the others. Naruto did really kick our butts when you guys came to save him. I can feel his punches, especially the gut-shot" Wave explains, while rubbing his stomach.
"I see, thank you." Alonne grabbed Akame and carried her and Erza underneath his arms as they jumped down below as Wave follow behind.
The Old Chaos:
The Old Chaos, a place where the failure of creating the first flames took place. It has been over thousands of years since the event that failure created by the Witch of Izalith and her daughters of chaos.
Naruto was so familiar with this place but yet he wasn't been here for in many of years since he returned to The Old Chaos, but in that time it had another name.
Lost Izalith
They fell to the core of the Chaos everyone landed on their feet without taking damage fall.
"This place…" Naruto said, he draw his new weapon out. Everyone wonder why he draws his blade, but the reason was clean very soon.
In front of the area was three large portal doors that was suddenly caught on fire, the portal pour out what appeared to be burnt version of the knights that was aiding them now.
Each of the burnt knights held a different weapon from swords to long hammers to spears to using Pryo flames.
But suddenly a loud quake shook the floor everyone stood on, as a long large gate appeared across the area. The burnt knights stood in front of the gate as if they were protecting something or someone.
"And we found our target." Erza smiled.
"Only our friends here don't want us near it." Naruto ran towards the burnt knights as everyone follow behind.
The Burnt Knights were tough and powerful but thanks to the large numbers of allies, the battle became hard. Naruto and Erza tag-team on few burnt knights, Alonne easily defeated his with ease while the others defeated theirs.
But it all seem too easy for such task.
"That was too easy." Naruto noticed.
"You too huh?" Erza said while defeating a burnt knight.
Then out of the three large stone portals more burnt knights came out.
"Naruto, how many knights did she said the Ivory King had?" Esdeath asked.
"She said the King brought his most loyal knights…I'm guessing by most loyal meaning a shit load of them." He sweatdrop along with everyone.
Another set of three came out from the three portals.
"Aw come on!" Naruto pointed in anger.
"Seem the real battle about to begin." Alonne ready his blade for the second round.
The burnt knights clash blades with Naruto and the group. While battling the burnt knights, Akame and Esdeath notice one of the Loyce Knights charged at one of the portal, his sword gave a strong blue ice glow. The Loyce Knight bust into energy as that energy transform into a powerful icy shield sealing the portal in an ice seal.
Akame saw another Loyce Knight sacrifice himself sealing the second portal. While doing so cutting off the number of burnt knights appearing.
Upon the second portal sealed the giant portal cracked as a powerful quake came from the giant portal.
Curious on a thought she had in her mind. Esdeath turned and aim her right hand at the third portal and shot an ice spear toward the portal. The ice spear frost consumed the third portal.
A large crack appeared on the giant gate, suddenly the remaining six Burnt Loyce Knights back away from everyone and ran over to the giant gate. The burnt knights kneel down on one knee, but then smoke bust from the gate's cracks, then smoke soon turned to flames and out from the crack was a hand, the crack grew and forcing its way out was a being.
"Is that…" Akame said.
Naruto stood in front of his allies.
The being appearance was unlike the group hasn't seen before. He wore royal style class of armor however the armor seem to be burnt, the helmet of the armor had a crown shape tip on the top, with face of what seem to be a woman's face. Holding in his left hand was a thick long Ultra Great-Sword.
"The Ivory King…"The Crownless King said.
The Ivory King indeed it was, but burnt and hollow he is. He looked and saw his faithful knights kneeling down before him, he looked upward and saw the Crownless King and his allies.
The Ivory King gripped his sword tight and without a warning he jumped at least ten feet into the air.
"AW SHIT!" Naruto and Wave yell.
He stab thrust towards the group, everyone quickly dodged the attack.
"Fire…" A deep burnt voice spoke.
Naruto looked at the Ivory King and notice the voice came from him. The Ivory King pointed his sword at the Crownless King.
"Fire…"
'Either he wants the First Flame or he thinks I'm fire.' He thought.
The Burnt Ivory King swings his Ultra Great-Sword at Naruto, dodging the swing wasn't easy for the Brunt King was quick for a man his size and for the weapon he held.
"Take this!" Candice shot a thunderbolt toward the Ivory King, the attack was powerful, however the Ivory King only shook it off as if it only stun-lock him for a moment.
"No way! That was my best strike." Candice jaw-drop.
The Ivory King looked at Candice for a moment before he turned away However, she wasn't his main target Naruto was and his alone for the others were just fly's to him.
Akame jumped high in the air and back stabbed the Ivory King in the back with her cursed-blade that kills anything with one touch of its blade.
"It's done." Akame said in a calm voice.
Her victory was short-lived as the Ivory King grabbed her long black hair and tossed her across the area only for Naruto to catch her.
The Ivory King pulled her blade from his back and tossed it aside.
The Ivory King shook his head as it felt something was effecting him but the effects faded.
"Impossible…" Akame was shock to discover someone is able to survive her killer blade.
"Are you ok Akame?" Naruto asked, Akame respond with a quick nod and ran over to get her blade, lucky for her the Ivory King had his sights on Naruto.
"Why is he focus only on Naruto?" Wave asked everyone.
"Because my Lord possess the power of First Fire, he gain this power after he took Vendrick's Crown. I believe the Ivory King wishes to take it or he sees Naruto as a threat, I believe this Ivory King controlled the winter storm." Alonne explain while dealing with the rest of the Burnt Knights.
"Fire against Ice huh?" Esdeath said with a frown, she held her arm and shot bullets of ice spears towards the Ivory King.
The Ivory King turned and took the ice spears as they impale his body. He pulled one of the ice spears and used his own power of ice; the ice spear was enhanced by an icy glow he threw it towards Esdeath.
Naruto quickly ran towards Esdeath and tackle her to the ground, dodging her from being impaled by the super charge ice spear.
"Naruto-kun, you save me…but I-" Naruto snap an angry stare at Esdeath.
"Don't do that again! If he's an ice user and your one too, you're going to make it worst or make him stronger. I can take care of myself. He's a King like me, but he has fallen. I made a promise I'm going to win." He got off Esdeath and helped the blue hair beauty up.
"I'm going make him stronger you say? I was only helping you." Esdeath frown sadly. The Uzumaki sigh while looking at the frowning Esdeath.
"Hey Esdeath, I just don't want you guys to get hurt. This is my battle…could you help the others deal with the knights while I deal with the King?" Naruto said while giving Esdeath his infamous warm smile of trust.
"I'm not going to lose you again, after this is gone you will be mine." Esdeath kissed Naruto, she broke the kiss and ran to aid the others against the brunt knights.
Naruto switch his weapon to a long sword which was the Ruler Sword, the Sword of King Vendrick. Naruto took a deep breath and placed his right hand against the sword's blade and spread his hand all the way to the edge of the blade, while during so the blade was cover in flames.
"First Flame." He spoke to himself.
The Ivory King saw what the Uzumaki did and performed a same manner but however the blade was covered in frost ice.
CLASH!
The two Kings struggle as they clash blades of Fire and Frost.
The two broke their struggle clash, Naruto perform a quick slash at the Ivory King's chest which slash through the brunt armor. The Ivory King perform a counter down slash and cut the right side of Naruto's face.
"AHHH!" Naruto yell, he felt the frost burn of the King's frost sword.
The Ivory King perform a four hit combo, lucky for Naruto he dodged every one of them but however, the kicked him in the stomach.
Naruto felt at least two ribs broke from the King's power kick. Naruto fell on his back he couldn't get up the power kick weaken him. The Ivory King ran towards Naruto he was ready to impale the Crownless King.
STAB!
Naruto opened his eyes and gasp for what he saw. Esdeath was standing in front of him she created a large ice shield. However, the ice shield she created wasn't strong to defend against the Ivory King.
"You…won't…harm my Naruto-kun." Esdeath cough blood.
The Ivory King raise his sword upward taking Esdeath with it, the ice barrier she created vanish, The Ivory King threw her aside only for her to be caught by her allies.
The Ivory King turned his attention back Naruto who was getting up. Naruto bear his teeth in anger, the flames that enhanced his sword turn black red, his blue eyes turned red, his teeth became fangs.
"RAGHH!" He ran towards the Ivory King.
The two Kings once again clash blades, Naruto broke the clash and drop-kick the Ivory King in the face. Naruto backed away for a second to recover, his right hand was consumed in flame, Naruto raise his right hand in the air before he smash it into the ground.
A giant flame pillar bust from underneath the Ivory King, the brunt King let out a hollow scream of pain. Naruto ran towards the Brunt King to deliver a powerful quick slash attack. But The Ivory King counter with his own quick slash.
Everything became silence as the group just defeated the last of the brunt knights, they waited to see who was the victor, but then.
"Gah!" The Ivory King fell to one knee.
"Yes!" Akame cheered.
"He won." Erza grew a smile.
"Don't let fire…consume you…nameless King." A kind voice spoke to Naruto. Looking over his left shoulder, he turned around and saw the voice was coming from the Ivory King.
"Beware of…fire." The Ivory King said.
"Beware of fire, beware of dark, beware of…" He sigh "Warnings and warnings, you Kings give warnings…but do not worry Ivory King. I know the danger of both, you fight for your Kingdom and your queen…did you know…"
"Yes…I did. But I love her either way, I did not care if she was a child of dark. Nameless go and create…take my power…the power of my Crown." The Ivory King armor started to crack as crack lines appear across and all over his body.
"A soul calm as the winter. Your soul calm the flames of Chaos, your soldier so faithful so loyal they follow you into this Hell. Your pet guarded your Queen, you did all of this to keep the world safe. You are truly a Great Hero, Ivory King." Naruto smiled.
"Your words are too kind, nameless King. I see the youth of this world…I wish…to see that new future…but maybe you can keep that future…I live!" with his last words the Ivory King burst into energy.
The energy took on color blue, the energy gather together into a large blue orb, the blue orb held the soul of the Ivory King. The soul of the Ivory King shot into Naruto's body.
"GAH AH!" Naruto dropped his weapon, he fell to his knees as he felt a rush of burning cold deep within. Naruto suddenly floated in midair.
"Ah..ah…ah..RAHHHH!" He let out a powerful battle cried, he fuse his soul with the Ivory King. Naruto fell back down to the ground, Erza and Alonne rush to Naruto's side.
"Gain another soul." Erza frown.
"And another Crown." Alonne added.
Naruto looked at his right hand saw he was holding a crown with a long pointy tip with a red jewel in the middle, the color of the crown was white. Naruto held the Ivory Crown.
Getting up from the floor, Naruto walked over to the wounded Esdeath. He knee down to the ground as Esdeath was bleeding to death, with her allies by her side.
"I told you…you…you're." Esdeath cough up blood.
"Say no more." He told her. Naruto held her hand, Esdeath grip tight. Esdeath smiled as she felt her lover warm hand, she felt herself grew cold and colder by the second.
He placed his right hand over Esdeath stab wound, Esdeath felt something warm against her wound, she felt her pain was fading, Naruto frown, Esdeath wound wasn't closing the stab wound from the Ivory King wasn't any normal stab wound he used own power to enhance it, this wound wasn't going to close, she's going to die.
"Thank you." Naruto said to Esdeath while smiling, his smile his true smile, a smiled not filled with pity, regrets but only happiest.
"I'm glad I got to see your smile again, Naruto-kun…" Esdeath felt her eyes slowly closing.
"Esdeath, you may die in battle but never with me. Sleep for now we will meet again." Esdeath closed her eyes but not before she smiled.
"Are you going to rid of this Chaos?" Erza asked.
"For now let's get out of here. You three, you're coming with us." He told Esdeath's allies.
"Is she really dead?" Wave asked the Crownless King. Naruto carried Esdeath's body in his arms, he looked at her with a frown, he'd closed his eyes for a moment.
"Though her way of survival is…different. She is a powerful warrior and I own her my life, but I promise the Night Raid I would stop her." He looked at Akame.
"Long as she does not pose a threat to the Night Raid we don't care what you do with her. She died I can report to everyone she no longer a threat to the Night Raid." Akame said while eyeing the dead Esdeath.
"Question, how the hell are going get back?" Candice asked while frowning.
A beam of light shine down upon the group, everyone looked around as they wonder who summon this beam of light. Naruto saw a remaining Knight of the Ivory, the Knight held his sword in the air as if he was summoning something.
"Thank you." Akame thank the Knight with a bow.
In a bright flash of white light everyone found themselves back in the Throne room of the Ivory King.
"Naruto…" Akame spoke, Naruto looked with an asking expression he wonder what his red eye friend wanted.
"How, it you were able to defeat him yet I nor Esdeath could not?" Akame asked with a confuse frown.
"Your sword was made to take lives yes?" He asked.
"Yes, my Murasame slay all living things with flesh. I know my blade cut through his armor yet he was not killed." Akame looked confuse.
"You just answer your own question my dear." He smiled.
"Huh?" A large question appeared above Akame's head.
"Like Alonne and I, the Ivory King was a Curse Undead. Your sword can kill the living, but it cannot slay the undead. You cannot kill what is already dead." He explained.
"But Naruto, you spoke of being killed before." Akame said.
"Yes, because my enemy was a being who is undead like me, it is true the undead cannot be killed but that is also a lie. There are things that can end the life of an undead as such a being of a Great or Grand Soul." Naruto explained.
"I don't understand." Akame frown.
"Me too…" Wave sweatdrop.
"Think of it as this way, there different class of Undead or Greater beings. There are Hollows which are undead who lost all their humanity, there curse undead an undead who dead but he or she still have their humanity which keeps them alive. Then there's the Greater Beings." Erza also explained.
"What are the Greater Beings?" Wave asked.
"Sound like their Gods or something." Candice said with a large unpleased frown.
"Long ago before my rule or my birth, there were nothing but dragons but soon that changed when Fire came to creation, human born from the dark came and with the first fire they took it and gave a Lord Soul."
"A Lord Soul?"
"It's the piece of the first fire, it's powerful and strong it's flame refuse to burn out even with the deepest of darkness. A Great Soul or Grand Soul are those held a piece or what remains of that Lord Soul. Four powerful being held these Four Lord Souls, Lord Gwyn, The Witch of Izalith, Gravelord Nito and Manus; the Father of the Abyss. I encounter them and those they share their Lord Souls with." He explained the beginning of the Kingdom of the Great Lords also known as The Gods or The Giants many knew them as.
The group heard the woman's voice, but this her voice didn't sound echoes but more…close.
"You've granted my one wish…now, I have no regrets." The group heard the woman's voice or rather the Ivory Queen's voice.
"You're welcome…though we have…small loses." He turned attention to the dead Esdeath in his arms.
"I was born amidst the Dark." The Ivory Queen said.
Naruto handed Esdeath's corpse to Wave, he walked up the stairs to greet the Ivory Queen. There he saw the Queen down on her knees in a praying position. She wore a long winter color robe, her hair was dark long and beautiful, her hair covered her face. Her name was Alsanna, the Silent Oracle; The Ivory Queen.
"I know…" Naruto said with a frown.
"Long ago, in the depths of the Abyss, my Father perished. The Dark shattered into tiny pieces, one of which was me."
"Another child of the Dark." Naruto frown.
"How frightened I was. A frail thing, born from but a splinter of Dark. I felt that I might simply disappear." She looked away as even now she was scared, unknowing what Naruto would do to her knowing she one of Manus's children, then again all humans were his children for he was the first human.
"I am, in fact, the incarnation of my Father's fears. I sought an anchor, and I saw that the King of this land was strong. I sought him only to sustain myself, to smother my fears…Now, I realize that he may have known all along." Naruto couldn't helped but smile knowing how good hearted the Ivory King was.
"Yet he gave his life for you and his Kingdom. He loved you then and still loved you now. He knew who you were and let you in his life. He didn't care what you are or who child you were." Naruto told the Ivory Queen.
"I was born of dear, and my Lord provided comfort. And so here I remain, heiress to my Lord's wishes, watching over Chaos…until the end of time."
"I defeated him…but the Chaos the flames still burns such a cursed flame." Naruto sighed.
"The beings born from shards of Dark…I am not the only one. Even Dark seeks solace, and more so, souls. Magnificent souls…like your own, each of you…" Naruto frown knowing what the Ivory Queen spoke of, he had encounter the other children of Manus before.
"One day, you may encounter another. Another being, born of Dark. Kind visitor. I am not the only being born of Dark. You will face hardships like no other. My sisters are as thick Dark, their lust for souls insatiable…may you find the will to resist their desires." The Ivory Queen frowned.
"Need not worry I encounter one of your sisters upon my journey and another in the land of Poison and Iron, the dark may challenge me again and again I will face that darkness without fear…without doubt…I will win."
"Go on, kind visitor. May you reach your journey's end, one day…" Naruto took a bow of respect to the Ivory Queen.
"Please take this, I hope it will be of help." Alsanna placed her hands against her chest as a bright yellow orb came out.
"For a child of dark, your soul sure is bright." He chuckled.

Present time: Dragonslayer Hall of Honor
Ornstein kneed down to a statue of himself who stood proudly with three other knights. But Ornstein wasn't alone beside him were the Nuns that he saved. Together they were praying.
Ornstein thought to the early days of his time, the aftermath of the battle with Naruto.
Battle, a battle was always just a battle. A great battle decides the fate of many lives, but this battle, this battle was indeed a great battle.
Dragonslayer Ornstein and Executioner Smough, the guardians of Anor Londo the City of the Gods. Dragonslayer Ornstein, the leader of King Gwyn's Dragonslayer Knights and leader of the Four Knights of Gwyn. All in the land knew Ornstein for his ability of lighting strike speed and his infamous spear, the Dragonslayer Thunder Spear, powerful enough to slice mountains in half the legends say.
Naruto and Knight Solaire battle the two.
It was a hard fight, since the two had to deal with two powerful foes, Ornstein was quick and Smough was powerful with his mighty great hammer. Naruto met his end during the battle, Smough made Naruto kept his focus on him and unknowingly Ornstein backstabbed Naruto in the back and shock him to death.
Though he was killed in battle, thanks to the curse of the undead, Naruto was revived as hollow and lucky for him he was one of the few who's will was strong that allow him to remain sane.
During the battle Ornstein ally Smough fell in battle, but though he thought his friend was slay in battle, Smough betrayed Ornstein and attack him with his mighty great hammer and took his power over lighting.
But Smough wasn't as smart as Ornstein was and use his new power only for boost of power rather than speed. Naruto and Solaire defeated Smough with ease.
Memories of the Old Dragonslayer:
The sound of burning was heard follow by the sound of a man's laughter.
'I am alive…but why? Did I not lose? Smough…he betrayed me.' The Dragonslayer thought.
Ornstein rose up and looked to his right and saw Naruto was talking with Solaire.
"You're up." Solaire said with a friendly voice.
"Why…" Ornstein asked.
"You lived because of your will. I didn't save you, but my friend did." Solaire turned his head, looking at the now hollow Uzumaki.
Naruto was hollow now, he hide his hollow appearance behind the elite knight armor, closing the helmet to shield his face from others.
"I don't know…but something told me to save you. I told you I was only after the prize, but seem the prize is just another voice telling me where to go on this quest." The Hollow Uzumaki sighed.
"Where will you go?" He asked.
"Your Giant of a Princess told me, I must seek the Four Great Ones. I have no clue who they are nor where they are located." He told Ornstein.
"The four great ones are those who had a strong tie with my King, Lord Gwyn. They were his friends, his most trusted and loyal allies. But it has been years since they have seen. One of them is close by." The Dragonslayer informs him.
"Where will I find this person?"
"Not a person, but a Dragon. He lives nearby the city, locked away in his tower. It has been years since he had company, he is one whom you do walk in without knocking."
"Thank Ornstein."
"Well, my friend it seem this is goodbye for now. We shall meet again, good luck on your journey." Knight Solaire said, Naruto shake his friend's hand and wished him good luck.
Naruto turned his attention to the Dragonslayer who was resting near a bonfire.
"You go on…I shall rest here…I am the Princess's guardian…"
Naruto stared at the Dragonslayer for a moment he couldn't help as if he just destroyed a man's spirit. But yet he felt the desire to say.
"You fought with Honor Dragonslayer, Lord Gwyn would be proud of you."
Ornstein watched as Naruto turned away and wave his right hand in the air, before giving him a thump up. Ornstein shook his head for a moment, he thought his eyes were playing tricks on him. For that moment he thought he saw someone else in Naruto's place.
"Funny…when I see him…it's like I met an old…friend again."
End of Old Dragonslayer Memories:
Ornstein looked to his right and left he smiled behind his lion helm as the Nuns that he saved grew a liking to him. He chuckled as he looked at each of the Nuns, they were praying alongside him but while praying them seem to have fallen asleep.
"It has been awhile since I've taught another." He said to himself.
Ornstein rose from his praying position, the sound of his armor woke the Nuns up.
"Sir, Dragonslayer where are you going?" One of the Nuns asked.
"I'm off to visit Lady Claudia."
Somewhere in another Castle:
Celestine was outside of her castle. She looked over her castle as the people of her kingdom believed in her, she will end this war. But however much like them she was afraid but now wasn't the time to be afraid, she was their light their shining hope.
Astraea smiled while being escorted by Kala; she planted a new found seed of hope in Celestine's heart. Placing their faith in the hands of her new allies and herself, Astraea believed Celestine won't give in to her fear.
While leaving Celestine, Astraea and Kala saw Ornstein who arrived through magic, he used a teleportation spell to reach this place.
"Ornstein what are you doing here?" Kala asked the giant Dragonslayer. But then Astraea saw Ornstein had a large box he held underneath his right arm.
"I am here on business." Astraea and Kala smiled, they quickly guessed what was inside the box. Astraea turned her attention to Kala.
"Kala would you kindly?" Kala respond with a quick nod and grabbed Ornstein left arm and dragged him on. Astraea continued to smile as she watched Kala pulled Ornstein into Celestine's castle.
"So nice to see everyone…so lively again." Astraea turned and walked on, she snap her fingers as a door appeared before her, she opened the door which easily brought her to the main hall of Naruto's Castle, once she step through the door vanished.
"Lady Astraea." A Silver Knight saw her appeared.
"I have returned. Where is Naruto?" She asked.
"He's away, Aqua-hime arrived awhile ago."
"Ah, I see. I shouldn't get in between those two. It would have been nice to see Aqua again."
"She has grown over the years, she is beautiful now as she was of then." The Silver Knight said.
"I must go rest, I feel drain."
"Yes Milady." Silver Knight escorts Astraea to her chambers.
'Good thing we didn't tell her about lady Alu left the castle.' The Silver Knight thought.
Ornstein's Location:
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"Yes?" A woman's voice spoke.
"Is Claudia home?" Kala asked.
"Wait that voice…"
The door to a large stone house opened, as Claudia stood at the doorway. Claudia was wearing normal clothed then her Knight armor set, however even while wearing normal clothed, which was a long dark brown shirt with long gray colored skirt, Claudia figure was still very sexy, her large breasts and round end were the most notice things.
"Hi, lady Claudia." Kala said with a childish grin.
"My, what are you doing here? Is there something wrong?" Claudia asked, ever since Celestia placed trust in Naruto, Claudia and the other Knights agreed and allow the Knights from Naruto take over their post, giving them Celestia's Knights a good break.
"There's someone here who wanted to see you." Kala looked to her right, Claudia peek her head out from the door and saw the tall Old Dragonslayer who responds with a bow of the head.
"What honor to bring you here Sir Dragonslayer?" Claudia asked.
"Actually…I have a gift for you." Claudia felt a hint of joy in his voice. The busty woman eyed the gift that Ornstein had underneath his left arm.
"Here take this." He handed the seal box to her. Claudia felt bit of weight of the seal box.
She placed it on the ground, Kala perform a hand seal undoing the seal that was placed on the box. Claudia opened the box, her eyes widen upon the surprise gift that was within.
She looked at Ornstein, she was unsure should she take this gift from such a high-class Knight, this gift was truly a great honor of honors.
"It is yours." The Old Dragonslayer said "Think of it as a symbol."
"It's so beautiful…but…"
"The gift is yours, you deserve it and I've decided to give it to you. My Lord told me of you and your desire."
"My desire?" Claudia looked confuse as her face slightly turned red from embarrassment, she wonder did Naruto joked after their little chat.
"You desire to have a true adventure. One such to make you feel like a true Knight. My King has taken a liking to you."
"He has?" Kala nodded with Ornstein.
"The King really likes you, he see why Celestia made you Captain of the Knights." Kala ended with a giggle.
"He told me, you have a gold heart and you do wish to help your Goddess by all means. It has been sometime since I took interest into the life of another."
"What are you trying to say?" Claudia was again lost on what was going on.
"What Mister Ornstein is trying to say is. You're going to be his student!" Kala grinned.
"Me his student? I…I…I don't know what to say."
"You don't want me to train you?" Ornstein said with a confuse voice.
"No! I do…I do…I would be an honor to be train by someone like you. Sir Dragonslayer." Claudia bow her head with her eyes closed, she opened her eyes once she felt something touching her head.
"No need to bow to me." Claudia felt she was patted on the head "I will train you myself. But be warn I will not hold back because of your gender. With my training and wisdom the Crownless King slay many difficult foes."
"That training worked too. Ornstein were so surprise when he told him he defeated Kalameet, The Black Dragon." Kala laughed.
"When do we begin?" She asked.
"First thing first, Claudia has to put on her new armor." Kala looked at Ornstein with a friendly smiled, the Dragonslayer crossed his arms over his chest, he looking at his newest student.
"Indeed she does."
Elsewhere The Mirror Castle:
The Mirror Castle, a place where Naruto imprison his most dangerous enemies, the mirror castle is linked to his book of seal.
Here one of Naruto's most powerful enemies lies here seal behind a thick wall of ice, with golden chains wrapped around it guarded by a tall armor being dubbed "The Guardian" but every hour or so the Guardian would leave the hall only to return within another hour.
The being seal away, sit in a large throne-like chair that had skulls of dragons on the arms-rest.
The being was female, who had long red hair. Her face was hidden by her long hair, she moved a slightly side her hair from her face showing she had another pair of eyes above her two eyes showing she has four eyes. She rest her head against her left hand, she let out a bored sigh.
"So, someone has the book huh? This might be interesting, it's been forever since I had some fun. I wonder if my dearest still asleep?"
"The Crownless King is awake, he has awaken from his slumber and has recovered from the battle with you, E.O.E"A voice from across the seal hallways, it was Ruin.
"Ah, Ruin so you were summon after all. How goes my dearest?"
"Same as before, but the battle left him weak. He is weak, and does not suit to be King. He is foolish and-"Suddenly a black collar appear around Ruin's mouth which silence him.
"I just ask how is my dearest, I didn't ask for a goddamn report! Ruin, you're a powerful warrior but sometime you need to shut your mouth."The mask woman freed Ruin mouth.
"Forgive me,"
"You're forgiven, I have a plan. I grow tired of this imprison, I wish to see my dearest. EVERYONE!"The woman shouts.
"YES MILADY!" The imprisons shouted.
"The time has come, soon the dawn of freedom will come! The Abyss shall rise again!"
"So, the Abyss has a plan? Do you really think all of us will be free?"The voice of old man spoke.
"It all depends on who get free first. And I believe you're next my dear sir, they may defeat the dark but they can never truly kill the dark. And I am the dark!"
Elsewhere's Volt's Location: The Forest
"Ah my Lord," Volt's right-hand man spoke.
"What is it?" Volt asked,
Volt and his men were traveling on horse, they were on their way to the next castle, after their failure attacked on Alicia and Prim ended up in failure and his men were force to flee. The Black Knights of the Crownless King were truly a force.
"I found new a summoning that can be more useful, and it seems since I summon that one being, the other seals are starting to unlock." The young man said.
"Very well, hopefully the next one would be useful. What shall we bring this time?" Volt said, with a smiled.
"We tried the Black Seal, let us see what the Evil, Dark and Death seal shall bring us." The young man smiled, he read the book and unlocked one of the three seals. The seal that would be use next was the Death seal.
And like the seal that held Ruin, in the same manner a dark cloud and symbol appeared as another being was summoned before Volt and his men.
"So…someone finally free us. If you're are the enemy of my former leader. We shall help you." A human voice was heard.
"Who are you?" one of Volt's men asked.
The being had the appearance of a white hair old man, his eyes were bright yellow-orange, he had a metal jaw, he wore coat in the style of mental armor, around his body were small yellow cracks that glowed every few seconds.
"This weak vessel form will do…for now. Ah the Crownless King you were to be herald to the abyss's return, but you proven too be unbreakable. But his foolish has given me strength, and his resistance to kill me has given me…freedom."
"Who are you?" Volt asked the old man.
"Woe to those who stand against me, for I am the herald and the sign of things to come. I AM THE CATACLYSM!"
"I am…Deathwing."
