Alec woke up on the floor of some room. The cold metal floor pressed into his back. Alec had a throbbing headache and moved his hand to rub his eyes. The last thing he remembered was talking to Valentine.

"Jace?" Alec said his throat was sore from lack of water.

"So, he's finally awake." Alec froze he knew that voice. It was last voice he remembered before passing out. Valentine. "You've been out for two days now. I guess we gave you a too strong of a dose."

Alec propped himself up on his elbows. He looked up to see Valentine standing a few feet away from him. That's when Alec noticed they were still in the same room as before.

"What did you do to me?" Alec said, he moved his ankle and heard the sound of metal. He looked down to see a cuff around his right foot that was connected to a chain. That's when Alec noticed the makeshift throne in the room and Johnathan Morgenstern sitting on it watching Alec. "Where's Jace?"

"He's fine. Probably with my daughter and your sister." Alec was honestly shocked that Valentine had picked Jace to go back to the institute. "I don't expect Jace to do as he's told and no doubt him and his friends will be coming for you."

"What do you want with me?" Alec was always good at masking the fear in his voice, but when he heard Johnathan chuckle, Alec knew he wasn't fooling anyone.

"I don't want anything from you, Alec. I want to keep an eye on you. Because I'm feeling nice." Valentine walked over to Alec and crouched down to his level. Valentine leaned in towards Alec's ears. "I'm going to let your phone call to your sister slide." Alec shivered as he felt Valentine's warm breath on his ear and neck. Valentine got back up and walked out of the room, leaving Alec alone with a psychopath, Johnathan Morgenstern.

Alec flinched when he heard Johnathan walk across the room towards him. Alec had nowhere to go. He was trapped.

"If I were in charge I wouldn't let your little attempt to warn your family goes." Johnathan stopped walked and put his foot on Alec's left leg. Slowly he applied pressure.

"Now I see why Valentine cared more and Jace than you. He's more likable." With that, Johnathan put all the pressure he could on Alec's leg until it snapped. Alec couldn't help but let the cry of pain slip his lips. "At least he got with Clary." Johnathan pulled his foot up off of Alec's now broken leg.

"Does it hurt? Watching the man you love go off and get together with another? Or what about that Warlock? Magnus. I heard he broke up with you. Rumor is he wouldn't help Clary or Isabelle search for you." Alec knew he was lying. Magnus may have called it off with him, but they were still close. Magnus was with Izzy when he called. "No one wants you. Everyone knew you were weak. Your dad thought it. The Clave thought it. Even your sister and little brother preferred Jace over you."

"If you're trying to make me feel bad about myself. You aren't doing an excellent job. I've had people all my life tell me these things, which I just learned to ignore them. At least I had a mother who loved me; yours tried to kill you. Forgot about you." Alec probably knew he went too far, but he didn't care. Sebastian pinned Alec down and put his hands on Alec's throat. Alec struggled to breathe as the pressure continued.

"I'm not going to kill you yet. No, whats the point. Why don't I use the cup on you? Or what about your sister she is beautiful." Alec started to fight the sadistic man on top of him, but it was hard when he couldn't breathe. "What would your parents think, when they see you bending to my every knee like the weak little dog you are." Sebastian released Alec, who gasped and coughed for air. "Maybe I'll even have you kill your own family."

"Go to hell you monster," Alec said glaring at the demon who stood in front of him.

"I've already been there."
