"Come on, Stupid-!" Konoro grumbled as he tried to get a fire started. he and the group were squatting in a cave, and although despite the helpful attempts of assisting in starting a campfire. Konoro assured he could do it.

"Uh...Konoro?" Mei asked the avian. "Is rubbing two sticks together suppose to keep of warm?"

"Shut your cudhole!" Konoro yelled in annoyance and raising worry. "Volg made it look so easy..."

"So, your a vegetarian?" Gabu said taking a bite out of one of the apples Urso had brought. "Is it really that easy for you to find food beside meat?"

"Oh, yeah." Urso began. "I eat truffles I dig up, fish, grab the occasional jarful of honey-"

"Hey, focusing on building a fire to save us from freezing to death over here!" Konoro said looking at the two sticks before throwing away in annoyance.

"Any other food you brought?" Mei asked walking up to the bear.

"Hmm..." He reached into the hefty sack to grab a hefty pepper, unknown by the grizzly. "I got this weird fruit I found in the forest."

"Ooh...That looks good..." Gabu said tantalize by the red color. "Can I have a taste?"

"Sure! I was saving it for a special occasion...And what better way then to share it with the one and only Gabu!" Urso then handed the pepper to the wolf. Gabu sniffed it before taking a large bite out of it. "So...what does it taste like..." Urso asked before a minute passed. "Gabu?"

Gabu couldn't respond as his face was turning red from the spiciness, before belching out a column of fire, Konoro ducked just in time for the flame to narrowly scorched the bandages on his head. Gabu then sprung up and began to run around the cave screaming his burnt-tongue out.

"Ow! HEY!" Konoro yelled at the wolf. "DO I LOOK LIKE A TORCH!? You could've burned me and-" He then notice Urso and Mei's fearful looks. "What?"

"K..." Urso started.

"Your head is on fire." Mei finished.

The chocobo looked up to see the bandages set ablaze. "Oh...My head is on fire...What was that drill again...?" Urso and Mei looked at eachother before Konoro spoke. "Ah, yes." He then imminently dropped to the ground and began to roll around the fire pit. "DROP, TUCK AND ROLL! DROP, TUCK AND ROLL!" While he was rolling on the ground, the central pit caught on fire. The bird then got up and ran around the cave with Gabu, screaming their hearts out as the campfire lit up.

"...Oh, sweet. You guys got the campfire let up." Konoro said walking up to Urso and Mei with Gabu, both looking as if nothing ever happened.

"Konoro how did you..." Mei said shocked at both his friends' speedy recovery. However imminently shrugged it off and started laughing, the others joined in as they began to share their stories. The howling of the blizzard outside the cavern was no longing bothering them.
