Giratina & The Sky Warrior
High up in the mountains, in a forest a little hedgehog like pokemon was nervously walking round. This pokemon was called a Shaymin and it was a grass type pokemon. One morning Shaymin was happily having a drink of water, but then Dialga appeared. Dialga was going to have a drink too, but when a weird hole appeared and a grey, black and yellow dragon like pokemon came out of it. This pokemon was Giratina. Giratina had Dialga trapped in an air current and dragged it into the hole. Shaymin also got caught in the current and followed Giratina and Dialga through the hole.
The hole led to some weird dimension. This dimension looked all topsy-turvy because there were upside down houses on top of houses that were the right way up and threes the same way. This was Giratina's dimension. The reason why Giratina dragged Dialga into its dimension was because it was angry with Dialga for some reason and was ready to fight it.
A human and a Shieldon were in the dimension and they were watching Giratina fight Dialga. The man had some sort of minicomputer with him and was observing Giratina and Dialga. He also noticed Shaymin and wondered what it was doing there.
Dialga tried to get through the whole to get back to the real word, but Giratina wouldn't let it and begun to fight it. At that time Shaymin was whimpering because it was scared. Just then it absorbed some purple clouds of toxins and the pink flowers on its back turned grey. As Giratina and Dialga fought, Shaymin got thrown back and released its signature move called seed flare; a released stream of green energy. Once Shaymin released the attack a portal to the real world opened up and Shaymin went through it. Dialga tried to get through it too, but Giratina tried to stop it again. Dialga attacked Giratina with dragon pulse and then this time got through the portal back to the real world. Giratina tried to get through too, but for some reason it couldn't go through. It was like Dialga did something to prevent Giratina from going through the portal.
The man and his Shieldon were not the only ones that witnessed everything. In the real world a silver haired man was observing the events with a computer in a big meatal flying airship. The man's name was Zero and he was interested in watching Giratina and its surroundings. The ship had a robotic maid named Infi, a programmed which controlled the ship and she was telling Zero everything that happened.
Meanwhile poor Shaymin, who fell into a river, was tossed around by the river's currents and falling down some waterfalls. It was also heading towards a town.
In a town Ash and the gang were about to have some lunch; Brock was cooking some pancakes. Ash and Dawn were washing their hands while Tomo was helping set the table. "Found anything interesting Ash?" asked Dawn. Ash and Pikachu had been looking around earlier. "Ah only seeing wild pokemon enjoying themselves around here" answered Ash. "It is amazing when wild pokemon can live in a city instead of the normal forests and things" smiled Dawn. Brock told them lunch was ready and the gang released their pokemon for lunch.
Before the gang could have their lunch they saw something eating all the pancakes. It was Shaymin, but they didn't know what it was yet. Shaymin was all filthy in dust and mud. Piplup got angry at Shaymin and tried to stop it from eating the pancakes, but Shaymin jumped off the table, onto Tomo's head and then jumped onto Brock's stove. The stove fell over and Brock. Shaymin absorbed the smoke from the stove and used seed flare again. Thanks to the attack both the pokemon's food and the human's food was all ruined. The pokemon got cross with Shaymin, but Dawn stepped in to stop them. "Hey no need to worry," she said to Shaymin "don't be afraid". She gently picked up Shaymin and gave it a wash. "There we are all nice and clean" said Dawn. 'That did feel nice, although it was chilly and you could have been a bit gentler than that' said a male voice. The voice came from Shaymin; it could speak in telepathy. Dawn was surprised by that, but the boys were used to it. "Where did you come from?" asked Ash. 'From over there' answered Shaymin. "Where's there?" asked Ash. "Over there" repeated Shaymin. "But where is there?" Ash asked again. Shaymin tried to explain, but he drifted off. Brock touched his head and noticed he had a fever. "We must take this pokemon to a pokemon center" he said. The gang agreed and returned their pokemon.
At the pokemon center Nurse Joy tended to Shaymin at once and told the gang what she was. Ash got out his legendary pokemon book and saw Shaymin in it. "Well we've run into another legendary pokemon again" he said. Chansey brought out Shaymin on a stretcher. 'Where am I?' asked Shaymin. Dawn explained to him that she was at a pokemon center and Nurse Joy healed him. 'Oh please I never need healing, but I do feel hungry' said Shaymin. "You're supposed to be the gratitude pokemon, but you don't sound like one" said Tomo. This was true; Shaymin had a spoilt and rude personality. The gang introduced themselves to Shaymin.
Suddenly Shaymin blew some smoke into Tomo's face. "Hey, what was that for?" asked Tomo, crossly. Nurse Joy explained about Shaymin's move seed flare and how it worked. She even explained that one time a Shaymin inhaled so much toxins and destroyed an entire forest with seed flare. 'I would say you owe me a big thank you' Shaymin said to the gang. "Hold it you," said Tomo, not liking Shaymin's attitude, "you should be thanking us especially since we got you here to the pokemon center". 'That was your idea' replied Shaymin; he really wasn't something you'd call a gratitude pokemon. "I am surprised that a Shaymin is here" said Nurse Joy. 'I shouldn't be here' said Shaymin. He explained she got tossed all around, which was why he was covered in dirt. 'You must take me to the flower garden'. "What flower garden?" asked Tomo. Nurse Joy explained once every season a group of Shaymin gather together in a flower garden and migrate, and when they stop somewhere a brand new garden grows there. It was called flower bearing. 'I'm going to fly off from the flower garden' said Shaymin. "You can fly?" asked Tomo. "Not right now it can't" said Ash. He took out his book again. "It says that only a special flower called Gracidea, whatever that is, gives Shaymin the ability to fly. And somehow I don't think we'll find the flower here". 'You're right we can't, the Gracidea is at the flower garden' said Shaymin. He jumped onto Tomo's head and told them to hurry to get to the flower garden. Dawn liked the idea of helping Shaymin get to the flower garden; truth is she wanted to see this garden herself. So it was official that the gang would help Shaymin.
What the gang didn't know was Team Rocket had been spying on them again, and the trip heard everything about Shaymin. They decided to take Shaymin and give it to the boss.
Once the gang exited the pokemon center, Shaymin kept saying to the gang to go this way or that way. "You don't know where you are going do you?" said Tomo, who thought Shaymin's sense of directions were useless. 'Yes I do I just need to think that's all' said Shaymin. Tomo didn't believe him. Dawn held Shaymin in her arms. Shaymin felt happy being in Dawn's arms and her happiness caused some pink flowers to appear on her back. 'This way' said Shaymin. The gang took off, but Tomo wasn't convinced Shaymin knew where to go and neither was Ash.
The gang ran through a park. This park had some stainless steel and glass mirror like sculptors. "Stop a moment" said Ash, suddenly. "What's wrong Ash?" asked Dawn. "I feel a strange presence in this park somewhere and I think it's following us" said Ash. "What is it Ash?" asked Brock. Before Ash could answer, Shaymin jumped out of Dawn's arms shouting 'They're here'. That meant he was feeling the mysterious presence too. This presence was really Giratina, having sensed Shaymin's presence and following it.
Suddenly Shaymin was grabbed by a pair of hands. It was Team Rocket. Team Rocket started to run away with Shaymin, while the gang gave chase. But then a hole appeared in one of the sculptors and an air current started to pull Team Rocket in. This hole was a portal. Dawn managed to grab Shaymin before she went through the portal. But then the air current grabbed Dawn, Ash, Tomo, Shaymin, Pikachu, Piplup and Growlithe and pulled them into the portal. Brock stood helplessly as the portal disappeared.
Ash, Tomo, Dawn, Pikachu, Growlithe, Piplup and Shaymin ended up in Giratina's dimension. When the group landed on a stone pillar they felt all floaty. "This place has no gravity" said Ash, remembering how walking without gravity felt like. 'I don't like this place,'" said Shaymin, remembering before, 'please get me out of here now!"
Before anyone did anything Giratina flew past, knocking the group off the pillar and onto the ground. "Ash was that?" asked Dawn. "Yes it's Giratina," answered Ash "and I reckon this dimension is it's home". Shaymin remembered seeing Giratina before. 'It's going to eat me!' he cried. Ash didn't believe Giratina would eat Shaymin, but he did believe that Giratina was angry. "Come on Dawn and Tomo," he said "I have a feeling Giratina is cross because we are in its home. Let's go". Dawn and Tomo agreed and they wanted to run away at once, but since they were in a no gravity place it was a bit difficult to do so.
Suddenly the man and his Shieldon turned up. "You kids follow me" he said. The man led the group through some alley way. At the end the gravity was back and they could run normally. "This dimension is stranger than other dimensions I've visited" said Ash. The man led the group to a place where Giratina couldn't find them. "Is anybody hurt?" asked the man. 'I'm glad I wasn't eaten' said Shaymin. "You're the Shaymin from before" said the man. 'Uh who are you' asked Shaymin. The man introduced himself as Newton Graceland and he was researching Giratina's dimension called the Reverse World. And he liked to think of himself as a genius. Ash, Tomo and Dawn thanked Newton for helping them and introduced them-selves. "So Newton can you tell us more about this reverse world as it's Giratina's home?" asked Ash. "I will be glad to" said Newton.
Newton explained the reverse world was an alternate world and the location of which is exactly opposite of the real world, and the force of gravity was stronger or weaker depending on what area or location in the reverse world. He also explained that even though the reverse world and the real world existed side by side with each other, they didn't intersect with each other at all. He also said that only Giratina had the power to travel between the two worlds. "Wait can't Unown travel to this world too?" asked Ash "Unown are said to have the ability to travel into any dimension there is". "That is true Ash, but I have never seen any Unown come here to the reverse world so I don't know yet if Unown can come here. Only Giratina exists in this world as this place is its home". 'I don't like Giratina, that monster tried to eat me up' said Shaymin. Newton wasn't sure if Giratina could do that. "Would you like to go back to the real world?" he asked the group. "Absolutely," answered Ash "we don't want to stay here anymore than we already have". 'I have to get to the flower garden' said Shaymin. Newton looked at his minicomputer quickly. "Follow me all of you" he said, and the group started to run at once.
Meanwhile Jessie, James and Meowth were discovering how weird the reverse world was. "This is like a circus fun house" said Jessie. "Well I'm sure not having any fun" said James. "This place is so ridiculous" said Meowth. Suddenly they heard Giratina's screech and hid behind some stairs. They watched Giratina fly by. "What was that pokemon?" said James. "I don't know, but I want to get out of here" said Jessie. James and Meowth wanted to get out of the reverse world too.
At that time Newton was explaining that he was obsessed with the reverse world and had been researching it for five years. "I get it you're a researcher and all Newton," said Ash "but I don't call this the best place for researching". Dawn and Tomo agreed. Just then a purple cloud of toxin appeared. Newton explained the toxin clouds appeared when imbalances appeared in the real world, and the reverse world corrects them to maintain the balance between time and space. Piplup was curious about the cloud and found the hard way it was poisonous. Piplup promised to say away from the clouds from now on.
"Time and Space, two dimensions that should never have met, collided and unravelled with each other" said Newton. "Oh you mean about when Dialga and Palkia fought each other in Alamos Town right?" asked Ash. "Right" said Newton; he saw that fight through a big bubble. "I don't suppose you know why they fought do you?" asked Ash. "That I don't," said Newton "but they thought their territories had been violated. That's why they had that fight and because of that time and space were bent violently. Then the reverse world started overflowing with all this toxicity". Newton then explained Giratina became furious with Dialga and Palkia for defiling its home. So Giratina made its way to the real world to catch Dialga. "That's not good;" said Ash "if Giratina fights with Dialga and Palkia, god knows what will happen then". "It will be like when Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza fought each other in Hoenn" said Tomo. The two brothers knew by now that legendary pokemon fighting each other was dangerous. Newton wanted to ask about Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza, but he knew he had no time for that. "Thanks to Shaymin's seed flare Dialga managed to escape" he said. "Oh so that's why Giratina is angry with Shaymin" said Dawn. Shaymin didn't believe it was his fault. Newton then explained that thanks to Dialga, Giratina can't get into the real world.
Just then Ash and Tomo saw Brock in a bubble. By now Brock was getting really worried about the others. Just then something caused Brock to get thrown back. This was because Tomo touched the bubble. Newton explained if something in the real world gets destroyed it causes a big influence on the real world. And any changes on the bubbles are reflected in the real world. By now the group came to an area where strange gravity was and they walked sideways. "Come on our destination is straight ahead" said Newton.
Suddenly Giratina showed up. Shaymin jumped onto Tomo's head and ordered him to run. Tomo ended up jumping onto a platform. While Tomo jumped Giratina made a grab for Shaymin. But Shaymin used substitute, so Giratina grabbed a fake Shaymin. Newton led the group to where a portal was. "You can't come in there, but you should be able to get out that way" he said. Piplup went through first, then Pikachu, then Growlithe, then Dawn and Shaymin, then Tomo. "What about you Newton?" Ash asked Newton. "I still have some things to tend to here," said Newton "so hurry or you won't be able to get out. Giratina can see into the real world, so watch your step and beware of mirrors". Newton helped push Ash into the portal; he was going to stay in the Reverse World more. On the other side of the Portal Brock had been helping the others come through and he just helped Ash. "Where did you all go?" asked Brock. "We'll explain later Brock," said Ash "but we have to get out of here. Newton said to beware of mirrors and there are lots of mirrors here". Dawn and Tomo agreed with Ash's decision and everyone left the park. Brock still wanted to know what was going on.
What the gang didn't know was Zero was watching them on his computer screen through Infi. His computer screen showed him how Giratina had been trying to get out of the reverse world and it revealed where Shaymin was. Zero planned to capture Shaymin and got ready to leave his ship.
Meanwhile Ash, Tomo and Dawn told Brock everything about Giratina and what happened in the reverse world. "Be glad you didn't come with us Brock because it was dangerous" said Ash. 'Thanks to me you are all safe and sound' said Shaymin. "What do you mean you?!" shouted Tomo "Newton was the one who saved us and got us out of there. Besides it's your fault we are in this mess with Giratina in the first place!" Shaymin just huffed. 'We need to get to the flower garden so let's go already' he said. "But you don't even know how to get there" Tomo argued back. Tomo and Shaymin were acting like a squabbling pair of brothers.
Before Shaymin and Tomo could argue some more, lots of Magnemites and Magnetons appeared. A Magnezone appeared too. These pokemon belonged to Zero and he arrived on a flying scooter. "I'll be taking that Shaymin off your hands" he said. Ash didn't like the look of Zero. "Who are you and how do you know Shaymin?" he said. Zero didn't answer and ordered Magnezone to use mirror shot. Pikachu countered the attack with thunderbolt and the gang started to run away. Unfortunately the Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone gave chase. Piplup and Growlithe fired whirlpool and flamethrower to throw them off, but it was no use. The Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone chased the gang through a neighbourhood and to a train station.
Unfortunately for the pokemon, the gang had got onto the train to escape. "Phew that was close" sighed Ash. Shaymin pulled on Tomo's hair because he was hungry. "Quit that!" shouted Tomo. Shaymin wanted Brock's pancakes again, but Brock didn't have any on him. Dawn gave Shaymin some of her poffins. Shaymin liked Dawn and said she was nicer than Tomo. "Hey I'm not spoilt, rude and ungrateful like you are!" shouted Tomo, who really didn't like Shaymin's attitude. "You stop that Tomo" said Dawn, not liking it when Tomo argues with Shaymin. "Hey Shaymin is the one who started it!" Tomo argued back. Dawn clearly didn't mind Shaymin's attitude and went to sit down on a seat with Shaymin. Tomo sat down on a seat too, but he didn't want to sit next to Shaymin. Ash and Brock stared out of the window. "Where do you think we're going Brock?" asked Ash. "I don't know," said Brock "we'll look at a map in a minute". Shaymin got a lot of attention from some passengers who knew about Shaymin. Three kids, two boys and a girl, couldn't stop admiring Shaymin. A man named Moose was talking about Shaymin's flower bearing and how he got to see it. A woman named Layla, who was Moose's wife, held onto Shaymin and Shaymin liked being in her arms.
Unbeknown to the gang Giratina had sensed Shaymin's whereabouts and was moving to follow it again. Newton noticed its movements and went to followed it. Team Rocket was joining him because they didn't know what else to do to leave the Reverse World.
Back on the train Layla was admiring the flowers on Shaymin's back and the flowers in a basket Moose was holding. The flowers were the same as Shaymin's. A woman named Sylvan explained the flowers in the basket were called Gracidea flowers. She also explained you give Gracidea flowers to someone if you really want to show them your gratitude. It was because the Gracidea flower looked like Shaymin the gratitude pokemon. "Shaymin here is no gratitude pokemon," Tomo pointed out "this one is rude and spoilt and ungrateful to those who help it". Shaymin ignored Tomo. Layla said she was giving her grandmother Gracidea flowers for her 100th birthday because she took great care of Layla when she was a child.
Suddenly some pollen from the Gracidea flowers went onto Shaymin, and then the flowers on his back glowed. Then Shaymin glowed and changed from a hedgehog form to a small deer form. After changing, Shaymin flew inside the carriage surprising everyone. "What happened?" asked Dawn. "Don't you remember what I told you before Dawn?" asked Ash "my book said that Shaymin gain the ability to fly when it comes in contact with a Gracidea flower". "That's correct," said Moose "it's the pollen of the Gracidea flower that causes Shaymin to transform into its sky forme". "Is it part of the flower bearing?" asked Dawn. "Yes, the Shaymin gather at a Gracidea Garden where they transform into sky forme and fly off" answered Moose. "Do you know where the Gracidea Garden is?" asked Brock "we are looking for it". Sylvan showed the gang where the Gracidea Garden was on a map; the gang had to get onto a boat at the next station and the boat would take them to the Gracidea Garden. Sylvan also said the Gracidea flowers would bloom soon. 'That's why I have to go right away my friends are all there,' said Shaymin 'and if I don't make it before the flowers bloom I'll be left behind'. "So that's why you were in such a rush" said Dawn. 'Exactly,' said Shaymin 'Giratina was a problem but I'm fine now. I can fly there anytime I want'. The gang wanted to see the flower bearing, especially Dawn. "I love when things turn out right" smiled Dawn. "I'm glad we are finally getting somewhere" said Ash.
But then Zero's Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone turned up. One Magnezone broke a window to get in and the others followed. Dawn explained they were after Shaymin. Shaymin wasn't going to let them catch him and he attacked them with energy ball. Pikachu, Growlithe and Piplup attacked the Magnemites and Magnetons too, taking care not to cause damage on the train. Magnezone tried to get through the window, but it was too big. Pikachu, Growlithe, Piplup and Shaymin defeated Magnezone too. Everyone was relieved the Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone were defeated. 'Every last one of them' said Shaymin confidently. In his sky forme Shaymin was more confident and brave than he was in his land form, but of course he was still rude and spoilt. Soon the gang got off the train and onto the boat for the Gracidea Garden. They said goodbye to Moose, Layla, Sylvan and her children and thanked them for their help.
At that time Zero was back on his ship. Infi welcomed him back. As Zero knew Giratina was following Shaymin he asked Infi to keep an eye on Giratina. If Zero knew where Giratina was going it would be easier for him to go after Shaymin.
Meanwhile the boat was floating down a river through a valley. Brock explained a glacier wore away the mountain that used to be in the area and created the valley. He showed a picture of a glacier in a guide book and said ice had been covering and wearing away at the mountain for tens of thousands of years. "Wow I'm surprised that it's been around that long" said Ash. "Looks cold" said Dawn. Brock also said there was a glacier at the flower garden they were heading too as well. Just then the gang saw some families of Spheals, Sealeos and Walreins. In fact there were other water pokemon living in the river; Finneons and Lumineons. Shaymin happily flew around, having a wonderful time. Piplup wished he could fly too but of course he couldn't. What he did do was swim in the river and jumped in and out of the water like he was flying. Pikachu wanted to join in the fun too so Ash released his Staravia and Pikachu rode on Staravia's back. There were also Swablu and Altaria flying in the sky. Everyone was having a great time. Just then Brock pointed out soon Shaymin would be leaving them once they reached the flower garden. Dawn started to feel a bit down from that. "No need to worry Dawn, we'll just make many more memories with Shaymin before we get there" said Ash. He explained how he and the others had to say goodbye to many pokemon they had befriended in the past. But they made many memories with the pokemon and they never forget their memories. Dawn started to feel better. Tomo on the other hand didn't feel the tiniest bit upset. (Truth is Tomo was acting like a little kid who could wait for their annoying little or older sibling to leave. He and Shaymin had still not opened up to each other yet)
At the Megarig Zero was watching a recorded video on his computer. It was a video with Newton in it and Zero was in it too. It seemed Zero knew Newton. The video was about when Newton and Zero first went to the reverse world together and saw Giratina for the first time. After Newton explained about Giratina moving in and out of the world freely he and Zero wanted to have that power too. Zero couldn't wait to have the reverse world for himself. Just then Infi informed him Giratina had surfaced, making him happy to hear that.
Back at the river, the gang noticed a portal in the lake. "It's the same portal to the reverse world" said Ash. "Let's get out of here" said Dawn. 'I'm not going anywhere' said Shaymin. As soon as he said that, the group got sucked into the portal. Staravia quickly flew after them with Pikachu. At that moment Zero and his pokemon turned up. "That's the entrance to the reverse world, let's go" said Zero. He and his pokemon entered the portal just before it closed up.
So Ash, Tomo and Dawn ended up in the reverse world again, this time with Brock. "Great we're back again" said Ash. Brock was surprised to see the reverse world. Just then Giratina showed up. "Giratina" said Ash. Suddenly an energy ball attacked Giratina; it was from Shaymin. He had enough of Giratina chasing her, so he wanted to challenge it. "That's not a good idea" said Ash, worriedly. He was right because Shaymin easily got thrown away by Giratina. Pikachu and Staravia arrived to help Shaymin and Pikachu used thunderbolt. Shaymin joined in by continuing to fire energy ball.
But then the sun went down and Shaymin transformed back to his normal form. As he couldn't fly anymore Staravia had to carry him. Once Shaymin saw the gang he jumped off Staravia and onto Tomo's head. "Ouch!" said Tomo "why did you change back like that?" "My book said that Shaymin can only transform to its sky form in the day time" Ash reminded everyone. Suddenly Giratina showed up and everyone started to run. Of course Shaymin rode on Tomo's head. 'Can't you run any faster?' said Shaymin. "No because I am not a Ponyta!" shouted Tomo "Besides your stumpy little legs are no better!" "Stop arguing and keep running!" shouted Dawn. Pikachu used thunderbolt to throw Giratina off their track, but Giratina used will o wisp to fight back. This was trouble for the gang.
Suddenly Newton turned up and he helped the gang to safety in a cave. Brock found the reverse world very strange. Ash returned Staravia. "You're all quite a handful aren't you?" asked Newton, who was surprised to see the gang again. "We didn't exactly come back here on purpose" said Ash. 'Whatever you're taking me to the flower garden' said Shaymin. "We can't because Giratina is out there," said Newton "we can't just waltz out there". Shaymin moaned. "So you're confident and brave in your sky form, but you're a coward and wimp in your land form huh?" said Tomo. Shaymin just huffed.
Meanwhile Zero was smiling from seeing the reverse world again. "Home sweet home I'm finally back," he said "a beautiful, quiet
and unspoiled world, where no one can bother me at last".
Back with the group Newton revealed that Team Rocket had been staying with him the whole time. Thing is Team Rocket hoped Newton would get them out of the reverse world. Shaymin rudely commanded Meowth to give him food, but Meowth said he had no food. Shaymin blew smoke into Meowth's face and ordered him again for food.
Suddenly Shaymin was captured by two Magnemites. The gang and Newtown ran after the Magnemites only to find Newton and his Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone. "The Shaymin is mine" said Zero. The Magnemites captured Newton and the gang. Team Rocket saw the situation and hid away in fear. "Zero!" shouted Newton. He explained Zero was his assistant once. "Well, well if it isn't the good doctor Newton Graceland, long time no see," said Zero "you haven't changed a bit". "Why did you come here?" asked Newton. "You know why, to make this beautiful world all mine" answered Zero. "You still think of that?!" shouted Newton. Zero had enough of Newton keeping the reverse world to himself. He flew over to a toxic cloud. "This place is beautiful," he said "but people destroy, defile and pollute it!" "Wrong!" shouted Newton "it's this world's job to protect the real world!" Newton wouldn't listen and some Magnemites blew the toxic cloud towards the group. "Before I forget to mention I have finished building your invention for you" Zero said to Newton. Newton wasn't happy to hear that and told the others not to breath in the toxic cloud. The Magnemites bought Shaymin to the toxic cloud and Shaymin started to absorb it. It was using seed flare again.
Suddenly Giratina turned up. "What a pity Giratina," said Zero "you lost your ability to travel back to the real world because of Dialga. But I'll help you". Shaymin was scared to see Giratina again. "Now open a hole using seed flare!" Zero commanded Shaymin "Help Giratina leave now!" Giratina was scaring the Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone away. "It's getting rid of all the Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone" said Brock. "It has no intention of eating Shaymin" said Newton. Shaymin was still afraid of Giratina and still believed it wanted to eat him and started to release seed flare. "Shaymin doesn't understand a thing" said Dawn.
At that moment a portal opened up and Shaymin, Newton and the gang went flying through the portal. So did the Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone. "Now Giratina go to the real world" said Zero.
In the real world Newton and the gang came to a valley where a big glacier stood. Dawn found Shaymin and picked him up. "Are you okay Shaymin?" she asked. 'It was about to eat me' whimpered Shaymin. "You're wrong Shaymin," said Ash "Giratina didn't want to eat you". Giratina started to come through the portal. Newton explained to Shaymin that Giratina only wanted him to use seed flare to open up a portal so it could come to the real world. Dawn also explained it was also trying to get rid of the Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone. Shaymin couldn't believe he had been wrong all this time. When Giratina came through the portal its body changed from a serpent like form to an actual dragon form and legs appeared. "Did Giratina change form?" asked Ash. "It must be because it's in the real world now and not in the reverse world" said Newton.
Zero and the rest of his pokemon came into the real world too. But then his Megarig, controlled by Infi, fired a red beam at Giratina. Then the Megarig trapped Giratina in a metallic, electrical cage. Zero got off the flying scooter and hitched a ride on the cage back onto the Megarig. Newton and the gang watched in horror while all this was happening. Once Zero was on board Infi told him Giratina was capable of entering and leaving the reverse world again. Entering the real world had shattered the time loop Dialga created which prevented Giratina to enter and leave the reverse world. Zero ordered Infi to start a scanning process and when Infi started it a red electrical surrounded Giratina, hurting it in the process.
Newton explained he designed the machine so he would be able to absorb all of Giratina's abilities. "Why did you create something like that?" asked Ash. "It was so I could enter and leave the reverse world at will," answered Newton "but I realized Giratina would then be sacrificed". He also explained back when he and Zero worked together, he terminated the project of creating the machine because he didn't want Giratina to be sacrificed. But Zero still wanted to continue the research and he was cross when Newton deleted all of the blue prints. "Obviously Zero never forgot them. And if that thing is built to my specifications then Giratina will be no more". "You mean Giratina will die?" asked Ash. Newton nodded yes. Zero didn't care that Giratina would die after having its abilities absorbed; he wanted to rule over the reverse world as its king.
Newton ran over to Zero's flying scooter he left behind. "This whole thing is my fault," he said "I have to make sure Giratina is safe". "I'm coming with you" said Ash, getting onto the scooter. "Me too" said Dawn. She lay Shaymin down near some pink flowers and got onto the scooter. There was only enough room on the scooter for three people so Brock and Tomo couldn't get on too. Just then some pollen from the pink flower went onto Shaymin and he transformed into his sky form again. The big flower bed was really the Gracidea Flower Garden. Now understanding his mistake, Shaymin wanted to help save Giratina too and flew ahead. Newton, Ash and Dawn followed on the scooter, leaving Brock and Tomo behind.
The group flew to the Megarig. "Zero will not kill Giratina" said Ash. Zero saw the group and ordered the Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone to attack them. The group flew over the Megarig taking care not to get hit by the pokemon's attacks. Zero entered the ship to get ready to enter the reverse world again. Pikachu and Piplup used thunderbolt and bubblebeam to attack the machine to set Giratina free, but the attacks bounced off. Newton decided the only thing to do was enter the ship and stop the machine himself. All the while Shaymin was fighting the Magneton and some Magnemites and Magnetons. But then Shaymin got hit by a mirror shot attack and fell. The humans saw that and rescued him at once. Then Pikachu and Piplup used their attacks again to get the Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone out of the way, while Newton landed the scooter on the Megarig and ran to a door. "I can get in through here" he said. "We'll take care of the Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone" said Ash. Newton ordered Shieldon to break the door with flash cannon and they entered the ship. By now the scanning was 50%.
Ash and Dawn released more of their pokemon to help. Ash had Chimchar, Turtwig, Prinplup, Staravia and Luxio. Dawn had Ambipom, Buneary, Smoochum, Wormadam and Pachirisu. Newton came to the main computer room. Zero wasn't in there, but he communicated with Newton through another computer. "I invite you to watch as the execution of my beautiful plan is made real" Zero said, evilly. Meanwhile Ash was staring at Giratina. "Come on Newton hurry up" he said, worriedly. In the computer room Newton was pressing lots of buttons with help from his mechanical backpack. "I guess he forgot this thing is my design" Newton said to himself. He remembered everything from his old designs. At that time Infi warned Zero the system had been hacked and over 91% of the scan was complete which made him cross. Newton continued to press more buttons until at last he pressed a red button. The machine was turned off and the scanning stopped. Giratina was free to Ash and Dawn's relieve.
Unfortunately not only was the machine off the whole ship was turned off. Newton came out and warned Ash and Dawn the ship was falling. Ash and Dawn quickly returned their pokemon and got back onto the flying scooter with Newton. On the ground Brock and Tomo saw the Megarig falling towards the ground and hoped the others were okay. Giratina slipped off the Megarig and fell into the lake. Zero escaped from the Megarig in a smaller flying ship and landed into the lake. The Megarig continued to fall until it crashed onto the ground.
Giratina came out of the lake, but it was very exhausted after having its abilities absorbed and it collapsed onto the ground. The group went over to Giratina to see if it was alright. Pikachu, Piplup and Growlithe feared it was dying. Ash checked Giratina over with his aura. "Giratina's still hanging in there" he said. He turned to Shaymin. "Shaymin do you know any healing moves like aromatherapy?" 'Yes I know that move' said Shaymin. "Great, use it on Giratina quick" said Ash. Shaymin did as he was told and used aromatherapy on Giratina. 'Stay with me Giratina' he said. Wild pokemon that lived in the area watched with the group as Shaymin healed Giratina. Once Giratina was healed it picked itself up. Shaymin was still scared of Giratina and hid behind Dawn. "Shaymin healed you Giratina" Ash called out. Pikachu bravely climbed up Giratina's body and onto its head. Shaymin then flew up to Giratina's head; he was no longer afraid of Giratina. Everyone was happy to see Giratina was alright, including the wild pokemon.
Suddenly Zero burst out of the lake on his flying ship. This ship was called the Mecha Giratina. It was called that because it looked like a miniature Giratina, only different. "I couldn't care less what they've done, no one gets in my way!" shouted Zero. He was giving up the fight yet. He fired a will o wisp attack from his ship; apart from absorbing Giratina's abilities, the Megarig absorbed all of Giratina's moves so Zero could use Giratina's moves on his Mecha Giratina. Giratina countered the attack with its will o wisp attack. Ash ordered Pikachu to use thunderbolt, Dawn ordered Piplup to use bubble beam, Tomo ordered Growlithe to use flamethrower and Newton ordered Shieldon to use flash cannon to attack the Mecha Giratina. "I told you to stay out of my way!" shouted Zero angrily. He turned the ship around and used Giratina's abilities to enter the reverse world. Newton couldn't believe that Zero had gained Giratina's abilities.
In the reverse world Team Rocket noticed the Mecha Ship. "Do you think that thing could get us back to the real world?" asked James. "Not sure, but let's follow it" said Jessie.
Zero saw the group in a bubble. "Look at you all in your pathetic filthy world!" he said "disappear all of you!" He burst the bubble and when he did that the group got thrown back in the real world. "Zero's attacking the real world from the reverse world" said Newton. Giratina wasn't going to let that happen. It opened up a portal and entered the reverse world. Ash ran over to the flying scooter. "I'm going too" he said, and he took off into the sky with Pikachu. 'Wait for me' said Shaymin. Ash, Pikachu and Shaymin entered the portal into the Reverse World.
Meanwhile Zero was flying all over the reverse world. "My lovely Reverse World," he said "they will never tarnish its beauty again. The Reverse World's true power will forever shine through!" He began destroying some ice pillars in the Reverse World. Because he was doing that the glacier in the real world began to rumble like a snowy avalanche.
In a hidden temple next to the glacier a big pokemon was waking up from a slumber. It seemed to notice trouble was brewing and started to walk to the exit of the temple.
There was worse to come; the glacier started to move. Newton, Dawn, Brock and Tomo noticed this. "Zero's doing this" said Newton. It was true because of Zero destroying the ice pillars in the reverse world; the glacier in the real world had lost the support. Zero saw everything that was happening through a bubble, and of course he didn't care. Suddenly an attack of aura sphere, thunderbolt and energy ball stopped Zero in his tracks. The attacks came from Pikachu, Shaymin and Giratina. "You stop this right now Zero!" shouted Ash. "Why don't you understand?" said Zero "I'm protecting this place!" Zero didn't understand one bit that he was just ruining it more than it already was.
In the real world, Dawn had released her Buneary and Smoochum and Tomo had released his Shellos. They told their pokemon to use ice beam on the lake; this was to try and stop the glacier from moving. The wild pokemon that knew ice beam joined in to help too. Back at the Reverse World, Giratina and Zero were starting to fire attacks at each other. Ash called out his Chimchar and Turtwig and told them and Pikachu to attack the Mecha Giratina with flamethrower, energy ball and thunderbolt. Shaymin joined in too with energy ball. But Zero wasn't going to back down so easily. In the real world the ice wall wasn't working of stopping the glacier. "If this keeps up it's going to crush the flower garden" said Dawn, worriedly. The flower garden wasn't the only thing that would get crushed by the glacier; a town called Ten'i Village was just ahead and it would be destroyed by the glacier too. Buneary, Smoochum and Shellos tried again with ice beam but it was useless.
Suddenly the pokemon from the temple showed up. "That's a Regigigas" said Newton. Regigigas was a legendary golem like Regirock, Registeel and Regice. There was a big swarm of pokemon with Regigigas. These pokemon were called Mamoswine, the final evolved form of Swinub. The Mamoswines and Regigigas pushed themselves against the glacier to try and push it back. Regigigas released an aura of power to help stop the glacier from moving.
Back in the reverse world it wasn't going well for Giratina. Zero made Giratina fall onto a stone pillar with aura sphere, and then Zero used aura sphere to break another ice pillar and the big ice rocks fell onto Giratina and trapped it. Zero flew over to Giratina. "This will all be over very soon" he said, and moved to deliver a final attack on Giratina. But the attack was stopped by Pikachu's thunderbolt. The Pikachu, Chimchar, Turtwig and Shaymin attacked the Mecha Giratina. "Out of my way!" shouted Zero. He used a wing of the Mecha Giratina to knock Ash and his pokemon off the scooter and onto the ship. Then some mechanical arms came out to grab them. Chimchar and Turtwig were grabbed but not Ash and Pikachu. Ash quickly returned Chimchar and Turtwig. Zero opened up the ship to talk to Ash. "You stop destroying this place Zero!" shouted Ash. "If anything is destroying this place, it's the real world" said Zero. Zero turned the ship around and flew towards a toxic cloud. "Look at that toxic cloud," he said "don't you see this glorious world is constantly being polluted? So don't you understand I'm protecting it?" "No the real world and the reverse world support each other; you're just making it worse!" Ash argued back. The toxic cloud covered Ash and Pikachu while they covered their mouths and noses. 'I'll take care of this Ash' said Shaymin. He started to absorb the toxic cloud.
Back at the Glacier, Regigigas and the Mamoswine were still trying to stop the glacier. "I don't think they can hold it much longer" said Brock. Ash saw the whole thing through a bubble in the reverse world. "Shaymin use your seed flare attack," he said "we must get Zero out of here". Zero wasn't going to let that happen and tried to use a mechanical arm to grab Shaymin but Pikachu stopped it with thunderbolt. Zero got ready to get Ash, Pikachu and Shaymin out of his way, but his ship got stopped by Giratina; Giratina was holding onto a part of the ship to stop it from going anywhere. Zero was getting angrier and tried to escape but Giratina would not let go. "Shaymin use seed flare now" said Ash. Shaymin did as he was told and released a seed flare attack. Zero tried to stop Shaymin with aura sphere but it was useless. A portal opened up. Giratina blasted the Mecha Giratina to the portal with will o wisp, but Ash and Pikachu fell off.
The Mecha Giratina flew through the portal, slid down the glacier and landed on the icy lake. "Quick Buneary and Smoochum use ice beam" said Dawn. "You too Shellos" said Tomo. Buneary, Smoochum and Shellos used ice beam on the Mecha Giratina and some of the Mamoswine used blizzard. They were not going to let Zero escape this time and the Mecha Giratina was trapped in a big block of ice. The computer systems on the ship shut down and Infi got shut down too. "All of my plans are ruined" said Zero. He was finished.
At that time Shaymin came through the portal, slid down the glacier and transformed back into his land form. Dawn caught him. "Shaymin are you okay?" she asked. 'I am the teensiest bit scared' Shaymin admitted. "Where's Ash and Pikachu?" asked Tomo. 'There must still be there' answered Shaymin. This was true because Ash and Pikachu didn't come through the portal. Unbeknown to anyone else Team Rocket flew through the portal and they landed somewhere else.
Back in the Reverse World Ash and Pikachu were riding on Giratina; it caught Ash and Pikachu when they fell earlier. Giratina flew over to the broken ice pillars and roared. After Giratina roared a yellow orb object flew over to Giratina and Ash caught it in his arms. 'This can't be can it' thought Ash. Before Ash could think about the orb Giratina released a pink aurora while flying around a broken ice pillar. Like magic the broken ice pillar was mended. Giratina flew around the other broken ice pillars and they were mended too.
Because the ice pillars were mended the glacier in Gracidea stopped moving and Regigigas and the Mamoswines let go. Suddenly a portal opened on the glacier and out came Giratina with Ash and Pikachu. Ash wasn't still holding the orb because Giratina left it back in the reverse world. Ash and Pikachu waved to the others and they were happy to see Ash and Pikachu were alright. Giratina landed on the ground and Ash and Pikachu got off it and Ash explained Giratina saved him and Pikachu.
Just then Giratina took off into the sky again. 'Where's Giratina going?' asked Shaymin. Newton took out his minicomputer and felt that Dialga was probably nearby. This meant Giratina was going to chase after Dialga again.
The next day just before sunrise, the group waited for the sun to come up next to the Gracidea flowers. Suddenly Pikachu and Growlithe noticed something. There was a dozen of Shaymins in the flower bed. "Shaymin are these all your friends?" asked Dawn. 'Sure are' answered Shaymin. "Then it's a good thing we made it here just in time" said Ash. 'True thanks to all of you' said Shaymin. Just then the sun came up and all of the Gracidea flowers bloomed. The flower bed was like a big pink carpet. "Beautiful" said Dawn. "Thanks for showing us this Shaymin" said Ash. 'You're grateful to Shaymin?' asked Shaymin. Ash replied with a yes. 'I am grateful too,' said Shaymin, jumping out of Dawn's arms, 'Ash, Tomo, Dawn, and Brock, all of you. I am grateful to you all'. Tomo was thinking this was a first as Shaymin had never been grateful to him or Ash.
Suddenly all the Shaymins transformed into sky forme and they took off into the sky. 'This is where Shaymin has to say goodbye' said Shaymin. The gang knew this too. With tears in his eyes, Shaymin tanked the gang for everything. Then she transformed into sky forme and flew off into the sky. Just then the wind perked up and flower petals flew everywhere. All the Shaymins flew around in a circle and created a cyclone with all the petals. "This must be the sky bouquet" said Dawn. The group was enjoying this. 'Thank you my great friends' said Shaymin. She and the others flew away to find another place to create a beautiful garden. The group ran ahead. "Goodbye Shaymin!" Ash called out "stay out of trouble this time and don't get lost again!" "Make another beautiful garden everybody!" Dawn called out. "I'll never forget you Shaymin!" Tomo called out, trying hard not to cry. Despite they were like a pair of squabbling brothers, Tomo and Shaymin had come to like each other a bit. It was sad watching Shaymin leave, but the gang would always remember Shaymin and Shaymin would always remember Newton and the gang.
And so with Ten'i Village and Gracidea saved and the quest for taking Shaymin to Gracidea over, the gang could enjoy attending Layla's great-grandmother's birthday party. Seeing the Gracidea flowers made the gang decided some of the flowers to their families. Ash and Tomo sent a bouquet to their mum, Brock sent a bouquet to his family and Dawn sent a bouquet to her mum. Zero was set free from his frozen Mecha Giratina by Newton and got arrested by the police. The remains of the Megarig was eaten by wild Aron, Lairon and Aggron and his Magnemites, Magnetons and Magnezone were free to live in Gracidea. Regigigas went back to its temple, happy to see everything was safe now. Shaymin was now living happily with his friends, happy the crisis was over. As for Team Rocket, they were happy to be finally out of Giratina's dimension and back in the real world.
With everything back to normal, the gang could continue their journey. But with Giratina still after Dialga, how long would this peace last?
I'm so sorry for the long wait. I had been sick with colds, bad coughs and sore throats. And I had been on holiday too. I decided to have Tomo do the arguing with Shaymin instead of Ash; it suited it in my opinion. Now to have you readers understand, the orb Giratina has Ash hold in this chapter is the Griseous orb. I'm not having Ash tell the others about it till I get to my Lustrous orb and team galactic chapter in Ash's pokemon journey. Even though Newton said that only Giratina can travel to the Reverse World in the movie, I'm pretty sure Unown can do that too since they're said to be able to go to any dimension.
