Hello everyone. I know it has been a long time since I last updated this story. I couldn't find any time for it anymore as I was very busy at school, and still am. So I might upload the chapter next month, but that depends. However a big kiss to everyone who still follows this! And I hope this chapter will make it unclear who the killer is ;p

Éric shouted out to barge into Maria's room for the group hug. I barged in along with the others, with the exception of the other Maria, who was currently with Maria, Axel, Violet and Jacob. I quickly halted and the smile on my faced was replaced by a face of horror. Both of the Maria's were lying on the bed covered with blood.

"No way…" I mumbled to myself as I looked to the corpses lying on the bed. There was a hole in Maria Herrero's forehead. She stared up to the ceiling with widened eyes while most of her face was covered by blood. Maria DiSciascio on the other hand was lying more graceful. Her eyes were closed and there was only a small portion of blood coming from the side of her head.

"No pulse." Emy confirmed after feeling the wrist of Herrero. She closed her eyes so that she wouldn't have that shocked look on her face. Maria was dead, who could have killed her? Why would anyone kill her? We were getting along just fine, tensions were at its minimum and now somebody else had to be executed again. Emy went to DiSciascio and felt her wrist. I saw Emy's eyes widened. "She's alive!" Emy exclaimed.

As soon as I heard it I grabbed the nearest cup and filled it with water from the bathroom. "Upupu, a new body has been discovered!" Monokuma cheered over the intercom, much to our annoyance. Coming back in the room I saw Maria awaken. She looked at us with drowsy eyes, and rubbed them. "W-what happened?" Maria asked. Before any of us could answer Maria clenched her teeth and felt the wound on the side of her head. "It hurts." she moaned.

Helga helped Maria get off her bed. "I'll bring you to your room so you can rest a bit." she said while swinging Maria's arm around her shoulder. But Maria quickly removed her arm.

"Where is Mari-" the nun said while looking around until she saw the motionless body of her namesake on the bed. Maria went down to her knees and cried. "Not Maria… why?" I could hear her whisper. Helga squatted down next to Maria to lay her hand on her shoulder.

"Maria. Let's go to your room, we need to treat that wound on your head." Helga said. Maria only nodded in response. After struggling to get up she went along with Helga to her room. After Helga and Maria left the room, the rest of us were just standing in the room, looking at Maria.

"I cannot believe Maria is dead. We just wanted to get her out of her room… to be among us again." Éric said.

"You're right. Even you wanted her to be who she used to be." Emy said, looking at Éric. "And you are the ultimate bully here." she said with an awkward smile, but quickly turned into a frown again.

"My appetite has completely been ruined." Silas mourned in his way.

"Onee-chan…" Rika mumbled, the little girl being in a complete state of shock.

Pierce kneeled down next to Rika. "Let's get the others." he said to the little girl and took her with him out of the room. Only the three of us; Emy, Silas and me, were left in the room along with the deceased Maria.

"We have no time to mourn." I said, whipping the tears from my face. "We have to figure out who could have done this."

"Yup. Why don't you examine the body? Silas and I will search the room for any clues." Emy replied. I nodded in agreement and approached the body. The first thing I noticed was that the blood wasn't completely dried up but wasn't fresh either anymore. I followed the trail of pink blood to the fatal wound, the hole in her forehead. I was hard to see the exact shape of the hole so I grabbed the blanket and whipped the blood in the hole away. The hole was shaped in a peculiar way. It certainly wasn't a bullet that was shot in her head; it clearly was a pointy object that hit her in the head. It could have been various things: a knife, a roast stick, a tweezers…"

Pierce and Rika returned along with Jacob, Axel and Violet.

"… or an arrow."

None of the three showed much of an expression. Axel stopped playing his game and his mouth was a bit open. Jacob had a bit of shock in his eyes, but further seemed normal and Violet looked very serious, maybe even angered.

"So it seems that Maria was killed this time." Jacob commented, shoving up his glasses.

"You can have a little bit more respect for the dead." Emy said in reply while searching the room for any clues. Silas didn't react at all and kept on searching. Violet didn't say anything, but looked pissed off. I walked over to her, thinking that she might know more of this.

"Hey Violet. I have a little question for you." I said, with some awkwardness in my voice as she still had the same angered look from before.

"Well, what is it?"

"I inspected the wound on Maria's forehead and… the hole in her head is pointy. It must have been from a weapon with a sharp end."

"And what are you trying to say with that?" she crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow.

"I believe it is from an arrow." I said closing my eyes being a bit afraid of how Violet was going to reacts.

"So you suspect me?" she let out a big sigh. "Okay that's fine." she turned around and left the chamber. Pierce was suddenly standing next to me.

"I think that we have our main suspect." he said. "But I think we should check on Maria, just to see if she has any more clues of who the culprit could be." he said.

"Yes. I'll go to Maria; you stay here with Silas and Emy." I quickly left the room as I was pretty much done inspecting it. I still couldn't believe that Maria had been killed, everything was going well. The only possible reason that one would kill another is because of the notes we got from Monokuma. But what kind of thing would make a person to kill someone else. But then again we never saw it coming from Serena and Anita too. I entered Maria's room where I saw her sitting on the bed with Helga while drinking a glass of water.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"Hello Conrad." Maria said while looking down into her glass of water.

"You probably want to ask some questions, right?" Helga asked. "Do you think you'll be able to answer Maria?" Helga asked the blondine now.

"I think I will manage." the nun replied. I sat on the other side next to Maria.

"This probably will be hard for you to recall, but do you have any idea who assaulted you and Maria?"

"Unfortunately I cannot accuse someone of murder…"

"You can't recall any details of how the person looked like?"

"I can remember some details. I believe that the attacker was a... female. And she was wearing a green cloak... or mantle."

"Thank you. That should be plenty of information for me to work with." I gave her a smile that hopefully would comfort her a bit. She smiled back at me.

"I will join the group again soon. I need only a little more time to recover." she said.

"Take your time." I said, I waved Helga goodbye and left the room again. I walked through the empty dorm halls again. As I made my way to the room of the other Maria, that previously was used by Maria to close her off from the others.

As I entered the room I met with Silas, Piece and Emy again, the latter two having some kind of discussion while Silas was eating a sandwich. "Silas, why are you eating a sandwich on the crime scene?" I snatched the sandwich out of his hands. "You might give out wrong clues to others. If they see trails of food they will suspect you." I was sounding kinda like an investigator, or a detective. I guess watching all those Who was the killer shows gave me more knowledge about the whole subjects. And then not the CIA, NCIS and other similar cop shows, but the real deal that airs on Investigation Discovery or 13th Street.

Silas snatched the sandwich back out of my hands. "Then I will take this yummy food outside." he said with a playful 'angry' face. As Silas left I was bothered by the discussion between Emy and Pierce. This wasn't the first time however; the others and I have noticed there was some rivalry between the two. Pierce thinking that Emy practices dark magic while Emy thinks that his magic is the lamest, misleading and fake magic there is. And once again they were fighting about it. I didn't bother asking why this fight started.

"Could you cut it out you two?" I sighed.

"Okay. But I will still stand by my point." Emy growled.

"As do I." Pierce mimicked.

"Of course you do. Found any further clues here?" I asked.

"No, not really, but we suspect that the cards given to us by Monokuma play a role in this murder. Weird how we keep thinking that his plans to turn us against each other won't work… but it keeps becoming our downfall." Emy chuckled.

"What did Maria tell?" Pierce asked.

"The one who attacked he looked feminine and was wearing a green cloak or mantle. That was all she could remember."

"Well… that kinda sound like…" Emy said not finishing her sentence as everyone in the room knows who she meant.

"It all seems to point towards her. The arrow-like wound, female, and wearing a green cloak. But from what I learned it isn't always the one we suspect first. But I agree with your theory Emy, we should gather everyone to let them tell who they got on the paper." I walked out of the room, followed by Emy and Pierce the latter closing the door behind him. Emy and Pierce distanced themselves from each other, so Emy took up the pace to walk next to me.

"I like it how you're taking the lead." Emy said with a grin. "Which persons did you have on your piece of paper?" she asked.

I hesitated a bit. The secret was about Emy, but then again I didn't read it. I was afraid to read it; she was a close friend of whom I didn't want to know her bad side of. "Well... uhm. I got a trait about Helga, about something basically everyone knows about her. And the secret was…" I sighed again and looked to the ground. "it was about you."

"Ow." Emy replied. "What did it say?"

"Well, I kinda threw the paper away before reading yours. I don't want to know it actually."

"I can still tell you if you want… I think that I know what it was about."

"I think I rather would not want to know." my tone of voice became somewhat depressed now. Until Emy gave a friendly punch against my shoulder.

"Lighten up Conrad. This isn't something to get depressed about." she smiled. The three of us arrived in the cafeteria where we saw Silas already sitting at a table with Violet. Our main suspect. We joined them. Éric and Axel entered shortly after and sat down next to us. Éric said they met when they made their way to the cafeteria. Suddenly Rika came running in all out of breath.

"Everyone! Quickly follow me to Jacob's room! Something happened!" she shouted. In an instant we all stood up and ran towards Jacob's room. While running through the corridors only the worst thing imaginable popped into my head, something that we had to cope with ever since we arrived, it was lurking around every corner, that stench, the nightmare, the reality of death.

No, I wasn't the biggest fan of Jacob, but he certainly wasn't one that deserved to die. But I'm already jumping to conclusions, for all we know he isn't dead, and something completely different happened to him. We all stopped in front of Jacob's room. Like always everyone was there, no one was missing. The thought of having a murderer standing beside of you must was frightening.

We entered the chamber. There I saw something terrible, I think my heart skipped a beat. It was Jacob hanging on a rope dressed in a green cloak, wearing a violet wig and hanging there completely motionless.

"JACOB!" Éric shouted from his lungs and then fell down on his knees. "Why?! Why would you do this?" Éric cried out, small tears making their way to his chin before dropping on the floor. Helga sat beside of him.

"Calm down Éric. This isn't your fault." she said. Helga looked at me. "Uhm… the description Maria gave us of her killer matches how Jacob looks right now. Right? Maria, you did say that, right? Or am I thinking of something else again?"

"Indeed. You are right Helga. The description of the murder of Maria I gave earlier matches the one as how we see Jacob now." she said.

"Upupupu! Another body has been discovered. I guess I need to give you folks even more time to explore… Dammit, I just wanted to summon ya'll." Monokuma said over the speakers.

"Shut up damn bear." Pierce exclaimed.

"But does this mean that Jacob also killed Maria?" Maria asked.

"I don't know. But as we see it now, I say he did it." I said.

"But then why kill yourself? He might have could get away with this." Pierce responded.

"He probably didn't want to go through the humiliation of the trial. He is smart; he knew we would have discovered that he was the killer sooner or later." Violet sighed. "But I hope that you guys don't think I am the killer, right? Because to me it seems like he wanted to put the blame on me."

"So two people have died today for no reason at all?" Maria said as she teared up. "Maria was just recovering from Chico his death and now she will never get over her grief. At least she went to Heaven, I am sure about that."

"Then I'm sure Jacob headed in the opposite direction." Emy said with a faint grin on her face.

"This isn't the time for jokes Emy." Violet said.

"What should we tell Monokuma-senpai?" Rika asked.

"Let's just go to the trial room. We'll explain the situation to him there." Violet said. She walked towards the exit of the room passing the grieving Éric. "Get your act together man." she said and left the room.

"Silas, could you help me get Éric back up?" Helga asked. Silas nodded and helped Éric get up.

"C'mon man! We will make it out of here, we're working on it!" Silas said with a wide smile.

"I don't think we're getting out of here alive." the passive Éric said, changing the smile of Silas into a troubled look.

After the discovery everyone left the room, except for me and Axel who hinted me earlier to stay in the room. "What's wrong Axel?"

"Doesn't this all seem a little bit weird to you?" he said while playing his game. He approached the hanging body of Jacob. "Just look at his body."

When everyone was in the room, I guess we were all too busy and shocked to even examine the body. When I took a closer look at it I saw a darker spot on the blouse that was hidden by the green cloak. I felt the spot, it was still wet. When I moved the cloak away I saw a pink stain on the white blouse, he had been stabbed. But the blood was stopped with a pair of panties, or so it appeared.

"I see." I responded to Axel who was still gaming and not paying any attention to the dead body.

"Conrad." he said. "About Alter-Ego. I messed around a bit with the little programming skills I have and managed to download Alter-Ego on my PSVita." he turned the screen towards me which displayed Alter Ego.

"That's impressive. But what if someone grabs your game?"

"That won't happen. It's mine." Axel then left the room, being as abrupt as always. I wasn't bothered by it though; he was sharing a secret with me. One that I would also tell the others, but at this moment anyone could be the killer. We don't know the exact time when Jacob died and only that he hanged himself and has a stab wound, which could be from someone else, but also from himself.

I sighed and sat down on the bed. I wondered if all these things would ever end. Maybe they would, that is the only thing I could hope for. I know that I won't fall in despair and be driven to kill someone. But I guess this school has a certain effect on even the most kindhearted of people.

I managed to get myself off the bed again and strolled a bit through the corridors. I coincidentally stumbled into Rika, she was so small that I didn't even notice her while dwelling through my own thoughts. "Ow, I'm sorry Rika."

"That doesn't matter. Nipaa." she said.

"May I ask you why you say Nipaa so many times? As well as other Japanese terms? You're not Japanese, am I wrong?"

"Ow of course not Conrad! I just like Japanese things, the country is much more interesting that the country I come from." she cheered

"And that was…?" I casually put my hands in my pockets.

"Iceland. It's North of England. Where you live!" Rika said with a big grin.

I chuckled a bit because of her childish behavior. I petted her and said I would see her later. I don't know what Rika was about to do, but she always seemed to be playing or reading inside of the school. She didn't interact much with the other students, similar to Axel. I entered the cafeteria, and it was no surprise that I encountered Silas there.

I sat down across from him at the table he was sitting. "So you got any helpful clues?" I asked.

"The only clue I found is that this omelet is super delicious!" Silas said with half of his mouth full with food.

"That's not really a clue though…" I said with a faint smile on my face, having to face the stupidity of Silas once again.

"But it is interesting and delicious! I can make one for you as well!" the boy said and crammed the last piece, which in reality was slightly less than the half of the omelet, into his mouth.

"No th- Well actually, I would like one. I'm starving as well." I said honest.

Silas jumped off his chair and raced into the kitchen, about 7 minutes later he arrived back with the omelet between two slices of bread. There was cheese and ham on it, as well as some spices to give it extra flavor. Also he smeared ketchup and mayonnaise on the inside of the slices bread, and oddly enough it was very delicious. Of course Silas had made one for himself as well, again.

During the meal the speakers suddenly the speakers all around the school went on. "Will all students go to the trial room. I repeat: Will all students go to the trial room. Kinda funny to do this official announcement, but get your asses down here!" the 'always-friendly' bear told.

Silas, once again, crammed the omelet into his mouth, which was more amusing the second time. I did so as well and stood up. "Well, seems like it is time to go."

"Yup." Silas only said and made a little sprint to take the lead. We all gathered inside of the elevator. The elevator had a lot more space now that six students were no longer with us. Most of us were minding our own business. Helga was still at Maria's side, as she still was a bit frightened. Axel was busy with his game, or Alter Ego for all he knew. Silas was sitting on the ground and looking up to the ceiling, while making wacky faces. The others, including me, were just staring at each other. Which made sense, the tension was high.

The elevator hit the bottom level, somehow this time the ride seemed to look longer. I entered the courtroom along with my fellow classmates. Three new pictures with a big cross were added to the circle. Anita's, Maria H.'s and Jacob's picture were displayed. It took my usual place in the room. It was silent.

But of course there was one person to break the ice, or in this case almost his own chair. Monokuma fell down from the ceiling and crashed down on his chair.

"Okay you bastards, ready for another round of: Who Is The Killer!" he said as if it was a TV-show. Everyone nodded without saying even a single word.

"Jeez, you guys are tense. Did someone die?" Monokuma chuckled. "Upupupu, let the trial begin!"

I'm actually very excited to write the next chapter, but gosh all the time that I don't have. I will be focusing more on my exams the following period, and probably will write small amounts of the next chapter. Anyway hope you enjoyed this chapter and fingers crossed that another one will be uploaded soonish xD
