AN: Here it is! The next chapter... I kind of almost forgot to post it.

But! I promised to post it this week, so here it is. Hope you enjoy!

He couldn't believe it. They had been found! When Cooper slammed the door closed, he didn't know what to do. There was no way they could escape now. What was he supposed to do? He couldn't go back to jail, that much was obvious. Blaine didn't have anywhere to go. He couldn't go back to their parents and he'd be damned if he let Blaine into the adoption system.

"Coopa?" His thought were abruptly stopped when he heard that single word. He looked at Blaine who in turn looked at him with big, fearful eyes. "What's wrong?" Cooper looked at him and then quickly moved to his side. "It's okay B, there are some men here who want to talk to me. But nothing will happen to you okay? I'll make sure of it." Blaine didn't seem to have calmed down by those words at all, but there was nothing Cooper could do about it right now. Peter was most likely still standing in front of the door and he had to do something.

Peter had expected a lot of different reactions, but he could honestly say that he didn't expect what happened. Jones and he shared a look before looking at the now closed door.

Peter decided to ring the doorbell again and try to explain why he was there. That he wasn't necessarily there to arrest him or send him back to jail. He first looked through the window to make sure Neal was in fact still inside. After a quick glance, Peter saw Neal and the boy inside the living room. The boy looked scared and a bit confuses and Neal seemed overwhelmed, clueless and surprised.

"I'm going to try again, maybe he'll listen this time." Jones nodded, letting Peter know he was ready were something to happen.

The bell rang again and Cooper turned around as if stung by a wasp. "B? Come here will you?" Blaine quickly went to Coopers side and looked up at him. "I'm going to let those nice men in and I want you to stay very close to me the whole time, okay? Don't leave my side." "Okay Coopa." Blaine nodded furiously with a serious look on his face.

Cooper went to the door again, a lot more composed this time. He opened the door and smiled at Peter and Jones. Hoping they didn't see how scared he actually was.

"Peter! To what do I owe the wonderful pleasure to have you as a guest in my humble abode?"

Blaine looked confuses, he had no idea what his brother was saying. He never used those difficult words.

"No need for the act Caffrey. You know exactly why we're here. For now, we just want to talk to you, so why don't you let us in. Don't try to make this more difficult then it has to be. I don't want anything to happen to the boy." "Leave him out of this!" Cooper immediately replied, but let them in none the less. He didn't have a choice.

He walked backwards to the living room, never losing sight of Peter and Jones.

As soon as Blaine saw his brother coming back into the living room, he went to him and hid behind his legs. Extracting himself almost fully out of view from the two unknown men. Cooper placed his hand on the back of Blaine's head, trying to keep him calm.

"Now." Peter started. "We just want to talk to you, that's all. We want to know why you did what you did, though I think I can safely presume it has something to do with that little guy hiding behind your legs." Jones and he shared a look before he continued. "So why don't we just sit down and keep everything calm, okay?"

Cooper went to the couch and sat down, pulling Blaine on his lap. He turned around as soon as he was sitting and snuggled into Coopers chest. Jones and Peter sat on the armchairs also in the room and an awkward silence fell.

"So, why don't you just..." "How did you find me here?" Cooper cut in. "I... we've been following you since the airport. At first we just wanted to arre..." Peter looked at the little kid and quickly stopped himself from saying the word. "Stop. We wanted to stop you there at first. But when we saw you weren't alone," Cooper looked down at Blaine and Jones and Peter saw the fear in his eyes for the first time. "we decided to follow you until we came up with some sort of plan. Also just to see what you were going to do."

"I..." Cooper was speechless, he didn't know how to respond, didn't know how much he could reveal about Blaine without endangering him. Could he tell them who Blaine was to him? But then he also had to tell who he really was.

Before he could decide what to do, a little voice decided for him.

"Coopa..?" Everyone looked at Blaine. Almost forgetting he was actually there. "Yes Squirt?" Cooper answered softly. "What is it?" Blaine looked at him with big eyes. "I have to go toilet." Coopers eyes got big. "Oh, ehm..." He looked at Peter, not knowing what to do. "We'll wait." Was all Peter said.

Cooper lifted Blaine up and took him to the bathroom. Blaine looked over his shoulder to the men left in the room and waved at Jones before they went around the corner.

Jones eyes went wide. "Do you think he recognized me from the ice cream stall?" He asked Peter, shocked. "I think so. I mean, he's a little kid and you gave him a free ice cream." "But he didn't show any sign of recognition before." "Maybe he was just shy. Strange men come into his home and who knows what Neal," a strange look crossed his face, "or is it 'Cooper', said to him."

Cooper helped Blaine in the bathroom. "Coopa?" "Yes B, what is it?" Blaine looked at him. "Why is the mister from the ice cream here?" Cooper looked at him strangely. "What do you mean B?" "It was mister popsicle sir! He gave me the yummy ice cream Coopa!" Blaine said with a big smile on his face. Coopers eyes suddenly widened. "It's the man from the popsicle." Cooper said to himself, stunned. Blaine just looked at him. "Yes! The popsicle mister!"

Cooper lifted Blaine up so that he could wash and dry his hands and they returned to the living room.

When they returned to the living room, Jones and Peter were still sitting in the same position.

Blaine skipped in front of Cooper before he could stop him and went to Jones. Jones, again, looked surprised. "Hello mister popsicle sir!" Blaine happily exclaimed. "Do you have more ice cream?" "I..." Jones was at a lost for words.

"Blaine!" He looked up immediately. Cooper never, never used his full name. "Come back here!" He went to his brothers side again and looked up at him fearfully. "I'm sorry Coopa." He said in a small strangled voice.

Cooper felt guilty when he looked at Blaine. He crouched down and tilted his chin up, for a second forgetting they weren't alone in the room. "Hey, no, it's okay. I'm sorry too, you just surprised me. And you knew you were supposed to stay with me." Blaine's eyes looked a bit misty.

"Erhm..." Both the brothers looked up again. "Are you going to tell what happened, or?" Cooper stood up straight again. "Yes! I will." He looked back down at Blaine again. He looked quite sleepy. After a quick glance at the clock, he saw it was getting late for Blaine. He also didn't want him to hear the story he was about to tell.

"I'll be right back. I swear I'm not going anywhere, I'm just going to put this little man to bed."

AN: So that was it for this week! What did you guys think?
