Chapter 11: Part 2: Secrets, Stories, and Swords

Kuwabara lay on floor. Still passed out. It has only been 5 minutes but it felt like forever. Everyone crowed him and called him name. Yuko got a rag dipped it in water and put it on Kuwabara's head. Finally he came to.

"Kuwabara are you alright?" Botan said

"…what happened?" Kuwabara said and sat up looking around.

"You passed out because you found out that you where in love with Yukiana." Emi said

"Oh well I had this strange dream that Yukiana was Hiei's sister." Kuwabara said with a laugh

"…That as well." Yuko said calmly

Yusuke laughed when Kuwabara's face whitened.

Kuwabara grabbed Yusuke by the shirt and shook him. "You asshole!"

Yusuke laughed even more.

"First Genki and now I find this out! Why didn't you tell me?!" Kuwabara said looking at them

"'Cause you should have paid attention to the video we got from our mission to save her." Yusuke said

"So all of you knew?!" Kuwabara yelled.

"…Basically…" Botan said with a shrug

"So why haven't you told her Hiei?" Kuwabara asked

"…She is better not knowing." Hiei said looking away "And if you say anything…I will kill you."

"Hiei I know you must think that her finding out might be a bad thing but if she is anything like your mother and will not care she will understand I don't see how it will interfere with her life." Yuko said

Hiei didn't respond.

"I have no right to force you to tell her but it would be making you life easier." Yuko said with a simple shrug

"You would not have forced me anyway." Hiei said and looked up at his dad

"That's my boy!" Yuko laughed and slapped him on the back.

Emi laughed and Hiei's slightly pissed off face.

"Anyway…Hiei might I see your sword?" Yuko asked and Hiei gave him a questioned look and he handed it over.

Yuko looked the sword over with the most serious face he shown all day. He sliced the air with it and handed it back.

"I could tell you have done a lot of battle with this sword. You have killed and wounded many. It is a nice sword. Have you fought Emi yet?"

"Yes I have." Hiei said

"How long ago?"

"About 2 days ago."

"Well you had enough rest. I want you to battle her. I want to see you fight. Just don't kill her." He said with a wink

"But master Yuko I…" Emi began as she looked at Hiei and saw his aura turn slightly orange.

"Come on I believe in you 2…but I is hard to tell who will win." Yuko said looking at them

"…alright…I'll do it…" Emi said with her head down

Everyone started at them in shock.

"Alright! Then let's go outside shall we." Yuko said with a smile.

Yuko stood by the wall of the cabin along with Kuwabara, Botan, Yusuke, and Kurama. Hiei stood on the middle of the yard and few yards away from Emi. Emi was in the middle of the yard as well. To their left was some wooded area

"Alright. The rules to this duel. Swords only. So Hiei I don't want you to use you flame. Emi don't read his aura. You can move anywhere you want among the area I don't care. The fight will be over when I either call it or you are both to tier to fight. Or one of the swords has fallen and I don't care if you have 2… Got it?" Yuko said in a serious tone.

"-Wait how did you know about my-" Hiei began.

"You got it?" Yuko repeated sounding like he didn't want to talk about it at that point

"Got it!" Emi and Hiei both said at the same time.

"I hope you know I will not hold back." Hiei said in a serious tone

"Yes I don't expect anything less…" Emi said with a chuckle and a bow "But first allow me to get more comfortable if you don't mind."

Emi stripped off her cloak and under it was a dark blue tank top.

"Humph…I guess I should do the same." Hiei said and removed his as well.

"Now if both of you are ready then let's begin!" Yuko said

Neither of them thought twice and where already slashing away at each other. But every time Hiei thought he had her she would block him with her other sword. Every time she thought she had Hiei he would move way a quick speed. He ducked and saw her leg and slashed it not to deep but it wasn't a paper cut either. She grunted and jumped back looked at it with a smile as she saw the blood on her hand when she touched it. She licked it from her fingers.

"Nice one…I hope you know this is the last time you do that." Emi grinned

"Humph! You have yet to get me?" Hiei said

"Don't think of me any less…I'm just getting started." Emi said

Yuko chuckled at her.

"Why are you laughing?" Yusuke asked

"Because…Hiei has yet to see Emi's full plan. This is one of her favorites to do." Yuko said looking at the fight

Everyone watched as Emi run toward Hiei with her swords. He was ready to block but she didn't hit. Instead she jumped over him with such a swift move he didn't know what she was doing until he felt her sword slash his left shoulder.

"Ah!" Hiei said and held it.

"Got you." She said playfully. "Your move 3 eyes."

"Alright your gonna pay for that." Hiei smiled and held his shoulder.

"Then come get me." She said

Emi turn and ran into the wooded area. He looked at her running there as if she lost her mind. He didn't want to lose and she wasn't going to let her get away with cutting his shoulder. He kept his word…most of the time. So he followed her into the area.

Yuko laughed out loud.

Everyone looked at him as if he was crazy.

"I don't get what's so funny." Kuwabara mumbled

Kurama's eyes widened slightly. "She is taking him in there so she can use the trees an advantage."

"You are correct. Emi figured that out on her own. When she does that it is best not to follow her because she knows that place like the back of her hand and she will come out soon and you can get her in the open. She isn't that great in the open. Hiei I can see like the open when he is fighting. Kind of like me. But I can see he might do ok there was well as long as he keeps his guard up." Yuko said looking out into the forest.

"So you're saying Hiei is doomed?" Botan said

"No…like I said it is hard to tell who will win…" Yuko answered

Hiei looked around the area. There were so many trees and it was quite. He tried to hear her footsteps. But as he tried he heard nothing but the branches move in the wind. Moved forward and looked around for track but they ended when she came into the wooded area. He didn't see her go into the trees but he could never be too careful. He looked up but didn't see her.

That's when Hiei heard movement in the trees behind him. That's when he saw her going straight for him. He blocked her just in time but she pushed him back kind of far. Hiei advanced forward and moved quickly but Emi took to the trees again. Hiei followed soon they were fighting in the air and the trees. As they moved they chopped at trees. Emi didn't let him get his sword near her. Hiei didn't either. But Hiei had an idea. He jumped to another branch. Emi followed and swung hard at his.

Then her swords meet his and they both heard a loud crack. Hiei feel backwards from the branch with Emi as her swords flew out her hands. There was a loud crunch as they fell. They hit the snow under them. Emi opened her eyes and looked beneath her. She saw Hiei laying there his eyes closed.

"Hiei! Oh god are you ok?" She said and shook him.

He let out a muffled groan. "I would feel better if you knee wasn't on my ribs…"

"Oh sorry. They aren't broken are they?" she asked kind of worried as she moved off him.

Hiei sat up. "No their fine."

"Thank god…" she said and let out a sigh of relief.

"Yeah…your ok right?"Hiei asked staring at her.

"…No…we both lost." Emi said pouting

Hiei laughed and she laughed along. The laughter soon died out and was replaced with a peaceful silence. Emi stared at him and felt a sudden longing to be in his arms. Hiei stared at her and she felt his aura turning pink from its clearness. She could help but move closer.

"Hiei…" Emi said quietly

"Hmm?" He said feeling himself get lost in her eyes.

"I…I think I…" she said as he moved closer as well.

Before she can say anything more she felt her lips touch his. It felt passionate and Emi felt his longing. She put her arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. Hiei never felt such a need for something so bad. Emi felt it in ever nerve of his body. His aura became strong and warm. She couldn't control herself she deepened the kiss and Hiei felt sudden warmth and something strong coming out of Emi. Hiei opened his eyes slightly and saw something blurry and pink around Emi. Emi pulled away from Hiei for some air. Then she smiled.

"Emi…why are you pink?" Hiei asked

"…You see it then…my aura must be strong then…?" Emi blushed

"You're glowing…" he said slowly smiling

"…Oh shut up!" she laughed and gave him a push.

Hiei laughed and threw snow in her face.

"Hey! Your gonna pay for that!" she said.

"Oh yeah? Then come on then." Hiei got up in one swift move and ran back in the direction of the cabin grabbing his broken sword on the way.

"Get back here!" she said grabbing her swords that fell a few feet from them. She laughed as she followed.
