A/N: Ok, I've finally finished this chapter. I wanted to split it into two as it's a little on the long side, but that would have meant re-writing the second half in Callie's POV and that seemed too tedious a task at 2am.

I'm pretty sure you won't mind the length though... Enjoy.

Chapter Eleven – Lightning

The end of her ponytail tickled against her exposed shoulder blades like the incessant tap of a pendulum ticking back and forth, as she weaved through the trees with ease. She had little more than her memory to guide her, but she hadn't gone too far from the cabins, the effect of her amputation still preventing her from running as far as she used to.

Considering it was only a little after 6am; the day had drawn only a pale wash of light in the lower sky to the east, but with each passing minute the beams of light were climbing and blazing with more and more force. Cresting the hill, she broke free of a dense patch of needle leaves, smiling as luminous freckles of fresh sunlight coated her exposed arms and cheeks, warming her already glistening skin.

She followed the skyscrapers of the glades with her eyes, allowing the lone, uncharacteristically mushroom shaped Jeffrey pine as her beacon to guide her past the densely scattered lodge woods and western whites that peppered the forest.

Woodland runs had always exhilarated her; they allowed her a freedom to lose her mind and find her soul in a way that busy inner Seattle didn't quite allow. And boy, did she need to lose her mind a little today.

Last night had been something. It had been progress.

She knew she wasn't imagining it this time. She'd seen it; she'd seen it in Callie's eyes. She'd seen waves of all different emotions- lust, desire, affection, fear; she knew them because they were emotions that mirrored her own.

They still needed to finish the talk that they'd barely begun, but maybe here wasn't the place. Maybe this trip was what they needed to forget about everything for a minute, and to just enjoy the butterflies, the fireworks, and the realisation that something mutual was happening. She'd already waited for two years; surely she could wait a couple more days until they both said things that they couldn't take back.

Her breathing, fresh and sporadic, pulsed evenly, mingling fluently with the crunch of the twigs on the ground beneath her, the incessant back and forth chorus of the tanagers and the redstarts and the whistle of the wind through the branches.

As the canopy overhead thinned out, she began to slow down, regulating her breathing slightly until she finally broke through the woodland and into the empty plain. She brought her palms to her knees as she caught her final uneven breaths, grinning as the sun finally arose with a vengeance, a glowing explosion of lava and fire.

She walked the few hundred yards back to the cabin, stepping up onto the veranda and grimacing as her prosthetic started to feel uncomfortable against her leg, the mixture of sweat and the force of the run having taken it's toll.

"Jesus!" She gasped, nearly jumping out of her skin as she noticed Callie out of the corner of her eye, sat out on the veranda, her bare feet up against the fencing and a fresh coffee in her palms, "why on earth are you up at this time?"

The brunette chuckled, her voice still hoarse from sleep. Her eyelids fluttered as she did so and a strand of hair slipped from its tucked position behind her ear, softly falling forward onto her face. Arizona longed to step forward and sweep it back, but she refrained, smiling as Callie completed the action herself and smiled up at her, "Couldn't sleep."

"Me either," she replied, tapping her fingers against the pale wood of the veranda, her stomach suddenly homing a family of butterflies.

"How was the run?"

"Great," she answered with a content sigh, but she couldn't suppress a flicker of pain as she shifted her weight onto her good leg, her other leg having started to give out.

Callie stood reflexively, placing her coffee down on the wooden table with a thud.

"You're pushing yourself too much," she dropped to her knees, looking up at Arizona for approval, but the blonde shook her head and flinched away.

She forced a smile, rolling her eyes as she thought back to how much Callie had pushed herself following the car accident they'd had when she was pregnant, "I'm fine."

"Sit down," the brunette gestured to the chair beside the one she'd just been sat in.

"Really, I'm fine."

Callie rolled her eyes in annoyance, "You aren't going anywhere until you let me take a look."

"It's really no big deal, Cal," she smiled and reached for the door handle, "I just need to shower and switch into my regular prosthetic."

Callie stepped over, reaching her hand out to cover the fair one beneath it.

"I'm an orthopaedic surgeon, let me try."

The blonde sighed in defeat, allowing Callie to guide her to the empty seat as she sat across from her and shuffled herself closer. She hesitantly accepted tanned hands as they pulled her to her feet, "Can you take off your pants please?"

"You don't hang around do you?" She tried to joke as she smiled sheepishly at the Latina, feeling self-conscious about the woman seeing her so vulnerable and so not sexy, but the Latina could see through her reservations and her brown eyes twinkled reassuringly back at her.

The blonde exhaled and did as the other woman had asked, sitting herself back down as Callie confidently removed the running leg and kneeled down in front of her. Familiar waves of insecurity came washing over her, forcing her to avert her gaze anywhere but to the warm brown eyes looking intently at her.

"I'm going to put my hand on your leg, okay?"

Her heart began to race as she chanced a look at the woman before her, her hands now so close to the bare flesh of her leg. This was not how she'd pictured Callie removing her pants for the first time.

"Calliope, don't," she began, but the Latina tilted her head in that way she always did; giving her those fierce eyes that said she wasn't taking no for an answer, the same way she used to look at her on the rare occasions Arizona would say she wasn't in the mood for sex. Let's just say, the look worked, and the Latina had never gone to bed unsatisfied.

Their eyes remained locked for a few moments until ocean blue caved and looked away, ducking her head in a nod.

Callie moved slowly, but still the blonde let out a gasp as skilled fingers began to massage the area. She couldn't help but upturn the corners of her lips as plump lips smiled up at her, her fingers continuing their work; everything about her presence comforting the blonde.

"Better?" She asked.

"Better."

"These pancakes are amazing," Amelia muffled out from beneath a mouthful of food.

"I helped to flip them!" Arizona chirped out with a grin, catching eyes with the rolling eyes of her ex wife from across the table.

"Sure you did, honey," the brunette responded nonchalantly, "if helping means giving the ceiling two new features and breaking three of the pancakes in half."

The blonde felt a blush spread across her features at the pet name the Latina clearly hadn't realised she'd let slip. April raised her eyebrows at her, a smirk playing across her features, causing her blush to deepen. She diverted her eyes and cleared her throat, "pass the juice please, Karev."

Around twenty minutes later and the friends had all eaten their fill of pancakes, bacon, eggs and fruit and washed it all down with enough caffeine to keep them going until tomorrow. The guys had gone off to get themselves ready to go fishing, leaving the women to chill for a couple of hours.

"No, no, little lady," April warned as the bride-to-be started to collect the dishes from the table, "you sit down, put your feet up, pour yourself a glass of wine. We got this, haven't we Zona?"

"We sure have," the blonde hummed in response, a smile across her features as she took the plates from her friend and made her way into the kitchen.

"So," the redhead began as she joined her by the sink, "you and Callie looked pretty cosy in the hot tub last night."

The blonde nibbled against her bottom lip to suppress the smile that was threatening it's way onto her features at the memory of last night.

And this morning, of course. After those skilled fingers had worked their magic on her leg, Callie had insisted on running the blonde a cool bath. Arizona's en-suite was the smaller of the two and didn't have a bath, only a shower, so Callie had ran her one in her own bathroom and made sure Meredith was up and out of the room to give her some privacy.

The Latina hadn't been wrong; the cool bath had been exactly what Arizona needed to dull the pain she was in. Today was the best she'd felt post-run in a long time; she was in absolutely no pain at all.

She ducked her head shyly as she thought back to their conversation, but if she was honest, she'd been bursting to tell her friend all morning.

"Please tell me you had the conversation," April continued at the blonde's hesitancy.

"Umm, kind of," she began as she dried the wet dishes and cutlery April was passing to her, smiling as she spotted Callie and Amelia outside of the window, looking at some wild mushrooms growing just over from the cabin, "well, we started to, but then Karev appeared… naked."

"Always a mood kill," April giggled, eliciting a similar laugh from the blonde.

"Yep. But- we did talk a little, I- I think maybe she feels the same- I don't know… she's scared, about what this might do to Sofia," the blonde sighed, "I mean, I am, too."

"Of course. Arizona, you'd be naïve not to be," she smiled softly, placing her hand on the blonde's arm and squeezing lightly, "you know, people say that from the very first moment your eyes meet the eyes of your soul mate it feels like you've been struck by a lightning bolt- a feeling so powerful and undeniable that it's as though that connection could crack your chest open and spill your soul out for the world to see," she exhaled and took a breath, "that's bullshit. Soul mates- soul mates do exist. But, it takes time to truly fall in love with someone. It takes time and commitment to know someone more than you know yourself. It takes courage to reveal every little piece of yourself; those pieces you were scared another person would ever be able to love, you know? That lightning bolt that hits- I feel that with Jackson now and I think you feel it with Callie too, don't you?" The redhead smiled softly as the blonde nodded. She paused, tilting her head and smiling at her friend, "A part of you has belonged to Callie since you flew home from Africa to be with her. No matter how hard you try, you'll never be able to get that piece back," she turned back to the dishes and picked up the final mug, "and she doesn't want to give you it back."

Arizona let out a shaky breath as she looked at the brunette through the window, her stomach fluttering as she did some kind of ridiculous dance move, resulting in Amelia fist pumping her arm in the air. Blue eyes followed the Latina as the pair continued to laugh until they disappeared out of sight.

The blonde blinked firmly, her eyes having glossed over with a light sheen of moisture at her friends words. She was right. Everything she'd said had been right. The lightning, the fear of letting the other woman see her at her ugliest, her most vulnerable, the fact that a part of her always had and always would belong to Callie- it was all true.

"I'm so scared of losing her," she confessed in little more than a whisper, "I don't think I could go through it again."

"So don't lose her again." The friends turned as a voice appeared behind them; olive green eyes locked on ocean blue. The blonde nibbled against the inside of her lip as she looked back at Meredith Grey. She had the kind of eyes that made you feel exposed, as though she could see every thought, every wish, and every painful truth you thought you were hiding. Right now though, she was looking at her with nothing but invitation- almost as though she was telling her to take the risk with Callie- challenging her even.

After a few seconds, Arizona broke into a gentle grin, "I don't intend to."

Meredith mirrored her smile before she handed April a fresh round of dirty plates and cutlery, "Do you mind?" she chuckled.

"Not at all," April chirped as Meredith headed back into the other room.

"So I take it things with Jackson are going well?" Arizona smirked; her friend was far too chipper for someone washing dishes.

The red head smiled as she squeezed a fresh load of soap liquid into the washbasin; "Arizona, I can't believe how perfect everything is going. Too perfect. I'm scared I'm going to mess it all up and remind him why he wanted a divorce in the first place," she confessed with a chuckle, but her eyes were laced with a hint of genuine fear.

Arizona echoed her laughter, "Sing it!" she hummed, completely appreciating her friends' fear, "Speaking of which, I made a mistake with Callie this morning."

"This morning?" Her friend turned her head to face her, her eyebrow quirked in confusion.

"I couldn't get back to sleep so I went for a run," she punched April's arm gently as her friend rolled her eyes; she'd always judged her for the way she found running relaxing, the redhead pretty much hated anything that involved exercise, "anyway," she continued, "when I got back, she was already up too- and she ended up kinda massaging my leg."

"Just your leg or-?" Arizona shook her head laughing at her friend's suggestive tone.

"Just my leg, Ape."

"Hey, I had to check," she frowned, handing Arizona the final knife and fork, "What's so bad about her massaging your leg?"

"I- I don't know. I mean we haven't slept together in so long. I didn't want the first time- or the only time- she touches me again to be like that," she stood back and gestured down her body to her amputated leg, "It's hardly sexy."

"For all the wrong Callie has done- and we both know I have never been one to let her off lightly," April began, the two of them giggling at the memories of April ranting and raving, labelling Callie every name under the sun, "one thing I have to give her, is her totally unwavering affection and desire towards you since the leg," she grabbed Arizona by her shoulders as they turned to face each other, "the leg doesn't change you at all, and especially not to Callie- she'd still look at you like you were the only star in the sky for her no matter what your body went through. Okay?"

Arizona surged forward, enveloping her best friend in a vice grip hug.

"You're the best, Ape."

"I know."

"This was so worth it," Jo sighed happily as she leant into her fiancé.

"It definitely was," DeLuca added as each of the friends nodded in agreement.

They were all stood side by side looking out at the incredible view from an opening at the edge of the forest.

Arizona had seen the sunset a thousand times before, but somehow this sky wasn't like anything she had ever seen. The clearness of the atmosphere was astounding; the brilliance of the colours cloaked the hills and valleys of the mountains and dappled the trees, almost like a shower of glowing volcanic rock. The clouds were like great wings of golden yellow, the hues changing to hints of blush and rose, streaks of purple and dashes of red.

But the red wasn't a shade she had seen before; not the crimson colour of the bricks on her neighbour's chimney, not bright like the red lights on the corner of each street, not scarlet like the stream that usually flooded the dusk sky from horizon to peak. It was the kind of red you couldn't mix on a paint palette. In fact, the whole sky was like nothing ever created upon an easel, it was too perfect to be a picture- it was something you could only see right in front of your eyes; something you were only blessed with seeing once.

Arizona smiled as she felt April's free hand grasp her own gently, the redheads other hand wrapped around Jackson's waist. As much as she'd protested against this evening hike, she had to admit this spectacular view made it pretty worth it.

"Okay, enough of this mushy shit," Amelia barked from the end of the group.

"Yeah, I need a drink," Jackson added with a chuckle, provoking a cheer from Karev, "let's head back."

Just as they turned to leave, Arizona caught eyes with the mischievous glint in Meredith's eye as she whispered with Amelia. She narrowed her eyes a little back at her, a fear washing over her in anticipation of whatever the honey-blonde was thinking of playing at.

"Let's split up," she shouted to the group.

"Huh?" Karev voiced what everyone else was thinking.

"Yeah," Amelia reinforced, "we should all split off in different directions and see who gets back first."

Meredith continued, "The winners get first pick of the cakes in the fridge, the losers get everyone's drinks for the night."

"You're on," Karev grinned.

The group each started to head off in different directions; Karev and Wilson heading off to the East, and April and Jackson headed back in a similar direction from where they'd originally come from.

"Andrew, you're with us," Amelia announced, linking an arm through his as Meredith swooped in to link his other. The pair briefly turned to smile impishly at the remaining pair as they headed off in a South East direction.

Arizona couldn't help but blush slightly as the Latina turned to face her, "I guess we're to the West then…"

If Arizona had said she'd been disappointed when the new twisted sisters had set her and Callie up with their little plan, then she would be lying. As not so subtle as their meddling had been, it had given the blonde the time alone with the brunette that she'd been desperately craving since the morning. Arizona had cursed herself for being so paranoid, but since brunch earlier on, the Latina had almost seemed to be avoiding her.

She'd decided not to let herself get carried away with thoughts and ideas of Callie regretting the confessions they'd made in the hot-tub and whatever the hell had gone on between them this morning, but after a while, she'd realised something really was off with the brunette.

At first, Arizona's attempts at conversation had been tentative and pretty generic, gaining nothing more than a few grunts and the odd one word response from the other woman. Then, she'd decided to push the conversation a little. She'd started to mention anecdotes from their past, even dropping in the odd flirty comment and walking a little bit too close so that their fingers would occasionally brush.

Nothing.

Callie was giving her absolutely nothing back.

They continued for what felt like hours, the silence only broken by the incessant howl of the wind whistling through the trees and the sound of crunching twigs as they walked.

After a while, it had started to get dark. The sun was fading fast and all that was left were blackcurrant coloured streaks breaking up the black and dull remnants of rays creeping through the gaps in the leaves.

Arizona hated the woods at night. She really hated the woods at night. There was a reason she didn't watch horror movies, and being out in the dark, in the thick of the woods, was like starring in your very own horror movie; every little sound magnified, every shadowy corner lurking with monsters and murderers.

She'd never understood why the protagonist would always descend the creaking stairs in pursuit of a noise she'd heard in the basement, or get out of her car without so much as a phone or some kind of weapon when she'd broken down in the middle of nowhere. Either get out of the house and run, or lock your car doors and ring every fucker you know to come and rescue you.

And right now, she was starting to feel like she was in her own movie; lost in the woods, without a weapon, without a phone, and based on the fact the Latina had barely said two words to her- she may as well have been out there on her own.

"Whose bright idea was it to all head off in different directions again?" She grumbled, silently cursing Meredith for yielding her to this when she could have been back in the hot tub by now, "are you sure you know where we're going?"

"Will you please stop whining?" Callie didn't even turn to look at her as she snapped.

Jeez.

"I signed up for hot chocolate around the log fire, inside a warm cabin…" Arizona huffed out an exasperated breath, ignoring the Latina's complaint, "champagne in the hot tub, beside a warm cabin… Beautiful, shining white, porcelain toilets, inside a warm-"

"-Seriously, Arizona. Stop."

What the hell was wrong with her?

The blonde continued to ignore the Latina's snappiness, now wasn't the time for them to get into something, she just wanted to get back to the cabin, "How long is left?"

"Not long," she huffed in response, "just stop whining. Please."

Arizona slowed her steps as the Latina came to a halt in front of her. She stood twiddling her thumbs to distract her from the eerily silence around them as the other woman looked around and let out an annoyed sigh.

She was clearly just as lost as she was. Great. At this rate they were going to end up spending the night out here.

"How many times do I have to tell people? I. Hate. Camping." She huffed, her mood rapidly deteriorating.

"Yeah well, I hate listening to you whining about how much you hate camping," she retorted as she swatted a branch out of the way, "and we aren't camping."

The blonde finally about to cave and ask the other woman what the hell was wrong with her when a twig snapped somewhere not too far off in the distance. She reflexively grabbed the Latina's arm in panic as she frantically whipping her head from left to right, "Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

"HOLY FUCK!" She jumped right in front of the other woman and tightened her grip around her arms.

She could definitely hear something in the distance, probably a bear, or an ogre, or Bigfoot.

"Jesus, Arizona," Callie snapped, but the blonde could see the anger hadn't quite reached her eyes as she moved her arm to gently caress the small of Arizona's back, "Will you calm down?"

They stayed like that for a few lingering moments, Arizona's ragged breath slowing to something more lulled as the Latina's fingertips traced patterns against the material of her thick coat, pressing just hard enough for the blonde to feel the effect against her skin. The tight knots in her stomach were replaced by soaring butterflies; the feel of the Latina's warm breaths tickling her nose soothingly.

"Sorry," Arizona finally pulled away, the absence of the Latina's warmth being replaced by a rush of cold air between the two, "You know I don't like being out in the wilderness at night."

It was true. If anyone knew about Arizona's hatred of camping more than her brother Tim, it was Callie. After three attempted family camping trips with Sofia, the Latina had finally given up.

She didn't even like being in the house in the dark. Callie had spent hours laughing the first time she'd spent the night. Arizona had sprinted into her bedroom and slammed the door after turning off the lights in the living room, not wanting to spend a second longer than she had to in the pitch black room.

When she looked back up at the Latina she saw her fighting to suppress a smirk, clearly finding amusement in her fear.

"Forget it," she scowled, turning to walk off in the direction they'd been heading for the past half hour, she figured the quicker they started moving again, the quicker they'd be home, "I knew this stupid hike was a mistake."

"Hmm, you seem to be making a lot of those lately."

She stopped suddenly, coming to a halt just a few steps in front of the Latina. She took a deep breath and bit against her lip, totally confused at whatever Callie was implying.

She turned around, coming face to face with brown eyes, tainted with anger and hurt.

"What?"

"You heard me."

She narrowed her eyebrow in confusion, "Okaaay… I really don't know where you're going with this?" she questioned, racking her brain as she tried to figure out what she could possibly be talking about.

"Forget it," the Latina shook her head and went to walk past her but the blonde reached to grab her before she could.

"No. Don't start something if you're not going to finish it."

The brunette took a shaky breath, "I heard you this morning," she tried to keep her face neutral, but Arizona could see through the façade; she was upset, "you told April you'd made a mistake with me," with that, her face finally gave away the emotions she was really feeling, a wave of hurt flooding across her features.

"W-what?" Arizona was dumbfounded. The last thing she'd got from her conversation with April was that Callie was a mistake. She reached forward to grab the other woman's hand, "I don't know what you think you heard, but you've got it completely wrong.

Her stomach dropped as the Latina wrenched her hand away, "I know exactly what I heard."

Arizona opened her mouth to respond, but Callie had already stormed off in pursuit of the cabin, leaving the blonde to scurry after her if she wanted any chance of making it back tonight.

"Where the hell have you two been?" Karev barked; jumping up from his seat as Arizona finally entered the cabin a few steps behind Callie, "I've been worried sick."

"Yeah, where have you been?" April added with a suggestive smirk that was mirrored on the lips of Meredith and Amelia.

Arizona watched as Callie glared over at their friends and stormed off in the direction of her room, muttering something under her breath in Spanish. Part of the blonde wanted to go after her and clear up whatever the hell Callie had gotten so wrong, but the other part of her knew it was best to let the Latina cool off; Spanish speaking Callie was not the kind of Callie Arizona was prepared for right now.

She looked over at her friends, tearing the bobble from her hair to free her ponytail and let her hair fall to her shoulder, "Wine. I need wine."

"Sorry to break it to you, blondie - but you lost," Jackson called over from his position next to April, "you're on designated beer duty for the night."

Great.

The group of friends spent the next couple of hours talking and dancing, the alcohol flowing steadily and the hot tub surprisingly left vacant. They were all pretty tired from the night before and the walking they'd done earlier, so they decided tonight would be a chilled one in advance of river rafting tomorrow morning, before they all had to make the journey back to Seattle early afternoon.

Callie had returned not long after storming off to her bedroom, but it must have been a little after eleven when she was the first to announce she was heading off to bed. DeLuca had stood to head off a minute or so later, provoking the two couples to jump at the chance of retreating off to their bedrooms, too.

April shot Arizona an intrigued look before she left, wanting to hear what had happened, but the blonde just shook her head in response. She wasn't in the mood right now.

They all said their goodnights, leaving the three friends remaining on the couches.

"I might head off as well actually," Amelia muffled through a blatantly forced yawn.

Arizona raised her eyebrow at the brunette, rolling her eyes as Meredith suddenly declared she had to join her in her bedroom for something.

"Really, guys?" Arizona chuckled.

"What happened out there?" Meredith questioned.

Arizona sighed, shaking her head at the absurdity of Callie's thoughts, "She seems to think I told April she was a mistake earlier."

"Why would she think that?" Meredith probed.

"I really don't know," Arizona tried to replay the conversation in her head, desperately searching for anything Callie could have overheard and taken in the wrong way.

'…I- I think maybe she feels the same- I don't know… she's scared, about what this might do to Sofia… I'm so scared of losing her. I don't think I could go through it again…'

And then it came back to her; '…I made a mistake with Callie this morning…'

"Shit," Arizona ran her fingers through her hair as she realised what the brunette must have heard, "she's got it completely wrong."

Meredith nodded in the direction of her and Callie's bedroom, "Go get your girl, Robbins."

Arizona took a deep breath as she knocked against the bedroom door, seconds feeling like hours as she waited for permission to enter. When permission didn't come, she decided to enter anyway.

"Callie?" She whispered. The room was in total darkness, the silence telling the blonde that the Latina was awake. If she weren't, her ceaseless snores would be breaking the silence.

"What are you doing in here?" Arizona's heart sunk a little as she heard the sadness evident in that gorgeous, husky voice. Callie shuffled under the duvet and switched on her bedside lamp.

Arizona's throat went dry at the sight before her. The Latina's hair was tousled and flowing over her shoulders, draping teasingly over her red lace bra- the only thing currently preventing the blonde from seeing the magnificent breasts she knew were underneath.

She took a deep breath as she took a step closer to the end of the double bed Callie was lying in, "What you think you heard, you didn't- you heard wrong."

"Of course I did," the brunette scoffed, rolling her eyes as she opened her mouth to continue, but the blonde cut her off.

"No. You heard wrong," She spoke firmly, her assured eyes never leaving the doubtful brown ones across from her, "it was out of context."

The brunette shook her head, clearly still doubting her words, "Just forget it Arizona."

"God, Calliope," she huffed, running a hand through her hair, "you've got this so wrong."

The brunette hesitated for a moment, a flash of something Arizona couldn't quite place flashing across her brown eyes, a confidence maybe, almost like she was daring Arizona to jump first.

"Tell me then."

The blonde took another tentative step forward, a million different responses flying around in her tangled up web of thoughts. She could feel the words forming in her throat, desperately craving to be released, but she swallowed them, her mouth opening and closing a couple of times before the brunette started to speak again, "Just get ou-"

"- I'm in love with you."

She brought her hand up to cover her mouth as soon as the words had escaped her, her heart pounding against her chest and her head spinning with realisation.

Fuck. She'd ruined everything. She needed to get out of this room; she needed fresh air, air that wasn't thick with her confession.

She turned to leave, her shaking hand barely grabbing the handle as she was torn from it and thrown against the door. Within fractions of a second, plump lips were all over her. Covering her own lips, nipping at her cheeks and jawline, swallowing her ragged breaths.

She didn't have any time to register how the hell it had happened, but moments later the Latina had ripped her shirt and bra over her head in one swift move.

"Fuck," Callie growled as she eyed her breasts hungrily, causing moisture to gather between the blonde's folds before she'd even touched her, "get on the fucking bed."

The blonde exhaled throatily and threw her head back at her words, her arousal pooling in her underwear as the Latina played at each of her weaknesses one by one, knowing exactly how to get her worked up.

"Oh god," the blonde moaned as she watched Callie reach her hands around her own back, unfastening the clasp of her bra, standing completely still for a moment as the red material dropped to her feet. Arizona's heart pounded in her chest as she watched the other woman's chest rise and fall with her erratic breaths, her nipples pert and exposed- just waiting for her to run her tongue all over them.

She surged forward; unable to wait a second longer, but the Latina pulled back, "I said- Get. On. The. Fucking. Bed."

Another throaty moan slipped from Arizona's throat as Callie confirmed exactly who was in charge tonight.

When the Latina was in this kind of mood, she was relentless.

The blonde wasted no time in complying to the brunette's desires and she moved to sit on the edge of the bed, her hands gripping against the edge of the duvet to try and steady her as her heart continued to race. She clenched her legs together, desperate for some friction; the arousal between her legs already streaming into her panties at the thought of what was to come.

Her breath hitched in her throat as the Latina dropped to her knees, removing the blonde of her last items of clothing and raking her eyes up and down her body like she was the most delicious thing she'd ever seen. Arizona watched as her eyes stopped on her glistening folds, her teeth peeking out to pull at her bottom lip hungrily as she pulled the hair-tie from her wrist to pull her hair away from her face. A desperately high-pitched-squeal escaped from the blonde's throat as strong hands wrapped underneath her thighs, pulling her towards her with ease as brown eyes briefly flickered up to meet her own.

There it was. Lightning.

Both of their moans merged into one glorious, guttural sound as Callie ran her tongue from the bottom of Arizona's slit to her bundle of nerves, sending shockwaves through her entire body.

"Jesus fucking Christ," she brought her hand up to try and cover her mouth, but it was pointless, her body was already telling her to scream as a firm tongue pressed slow circles against her clit, her pressure building teasingly slowly as the blonde writhed almost frantically against her, begging for even more friction against her clit.

She almost couldn't believe it as she lifted her head slightly to watch the woman at work between her legs. Seeing her between her folds again was almost like a dream; this was what she'd dreamt about for so long. Only, this was so much better than she'd ever been able to imagine.

Arizona used her free hand to grab at dark locks of hair, but Callie quickly grabbed at her wrist, slamming her hand back down onto the bed without moving her tongue from it's position against her folds. That's right, she was in charge tonight.

"Oh my- oh my god," she cried out as two fingers entered her without warning, the slow circles of her tongue against her clit continuing as strong fingers began to curl against that fucking spot.

It was ridiculous, how well the Latina knew her body. Knowing what each breath signalled, what each flinch meant, what each cry of pleasure implied. She knew every centimetre of skin like she'd created it, like Arizona had been designed solely for Callie to touch her.

Within seconds she could feel her walls starting to clench around Callie's fingers. She fought her orgasm desperately, wanting to drag out this feeling for as long a possible, but she could feel Callie's lips spreading into that signature smirk against her folds; she could feel how close she was.

And then the pressure against her clit stopped for a moment as the brunette lifted her head to lock eyes with her, "Don't fight it," she husked, "Come for me, baby."

And with that, Arizona was a goner.

A squeal ripped from the back of her throat as that tongue connected with her nub again, long fingers massaging her g-spot as her walls began to contract around them, "Yes- Pl-please don't st-stop- Oh god, yes."

She bucked against Callie's caramel fingers as she tumbled completely over the edge, clamping her thighs around the Latina as she continued to lap against her clit hungrily, allowing Arizona to ride out her orgasm with a force.

When the blonde had started to tremble and the Latina was sure she couldn't take anymore, she removed her fingers gently and crawled up on top of the blonde, bringing her hands up to sweep the blonde strands from her forehead, pushing them back away from her face.

Arizona looked up at the sinfully dark brown eyes looking down at her, her own eyes rolling back into her head as the Latina brought her sodden fingers up to her mouth and moaned throatily as she slowly sucked each one of them clean.

The blonde was still panting desperately beneath the other woman as she tried to recover from the intensity of her orgasm, but as soon as their eyes locked again, their lips came crashing towards each other.

She moaned throatily at the taste of her own arousal all over the other woman's lips and tongue.

Glorious moans began to fall from Callie's throat as she positioned herself to straddle around a fair leg. A particularly guttural moan left that gorgeous plump mouth as the blonde pressed her leg up against the other woman's centre, using her hands to grind her down onto her in a rhythm.

Within seconds, the friction between them was lost, replaced with the slippery heat of wetness dripping all over a caramel thigh. Arizona's hands quickly pulled the fastening from the Latina's hair, letting dark waves fall down around shoulders.

"You're fucking beautiful," Arizona whispered as she wrapped her arms around the woman's neck, pulling her down into more hungry kisses.

Suddenly a wave of pleasure shot through Arizona's body as Callie once again thrust her fingers deep inside the blonde. This time though, they were impossibly deeper, completely filling the blonde as she began to pump in and out of her.

"Oh Fuck, don't stop," she moaned against the Latina's mouth.

Callie's fingers continued to work against her pulsing centre as she moved her lips down to nip and suck at each of Arizona's breasts in turn, before dragging her mouth up to a milky white neck, where she sunk her teeth in forcefully, causing a howl to rip from the back of the Arizona's throat.

Arizona could feel another orgasm starting to build in her stomach, but she needed to feel more of Callie, she needed to feel her come undone as well.

She used one hand to pinch against a taut nipple whilst she slicked her other hand between their two bodies, instantly finding the other woman's sodden wet centre and thrusting her twin fingers inside with ease.

"Jesus- fuck Arizona," husky moans escaped from the brunette's mouth as she detached her lips from her neck to throw her head back in pleasure.

The Latina instantly began to grind down against long fingers as Arizona continued to pump in and out of her, mirroring the steady rhythm that Callie had long since found inside of her.

It didn't take long before their thrusts started to become more and more sporadic, both of their orgasm's hurtling closer and closer with each desperate thrust.

"Yes- fuck, just like that," Callie began to moan desperately "Ari- Arizona, Fuck- just like that-" she panted as she nipped against the blonde's earlobes.

Arizona removed her hand from a dark nipple to wrap around a caramel neck and pull the Latina's mouth towards hers, suffocating the desperate cries of pleasure with hungry kisses.

The Latina's forceful thrusts inside the blonde slowed just slightly as Arizona could feel the other woman's walls starting to tighten around her fingers, her orgasm threatening to consume her any second.

"Oh my god, Arizona- I- I'm going to-", that was all Arizona needed as a signal to remove her fingers from her pulsing centre and instead slide three fingers straight back up, this time curving firmly against Callie's g-spot.

An animalistic moan ripped from the Latina and suddenly, out of nowhere, Arizona's own walls began to tense around those gloriously skilled fingers.

"Calliope… Calliope… Calliope…" spilled from her lips repeatedly, in a rhythm with the way her entire body was rocking up and down, her breasts bouncing with each thrust.

Gasps and moans ripped from both sets of lips as their orgasms simultaneously crashed over them, both of their hips thrusting desperately against each other's unremitting fingers.

"Fuck," Callie husked as she rode out the final wave of her release and collapsed on top of he blonde, their breasts pressing against one another's, chests heaving up and down, "That was-"

"Yeah," the blonde managed to wisp out as she tried to catch her breath, still nowhere near close to recovering from what had to be one of the most intense orgasms she'd ever had in her life. She wrapped her arms around the woman on top of her, tracing her fingers up and down her slick back, "It was."
