As Port walks over to the group, he greets them. "Why, aren't I glad to finally meet you gals! You know how hard it is to find a couple of people in a city like this?" He asks the team, but before any of them could possibly answers he continues speaking. "Anyways, I feel it is about time that we head on over to the meeting."

After finally catching her breath, Blake speaks first. "Yeah, I think everyone is in agreement on that Mr. Port. So, where are we heading?"

"Why, we're heading to my car." He tells her, pointing towards where the driver parked it on the outskirts of Hyde Park. The band looks over his shoulder to see a limo illegally parked on the sidewalk with a disgruntled driver in front.

"Is the meeting taking place in the limo?" Ruby whispers to Yang, who shrugs her shoulders.

"Makes sense. I seen meetings happen in limos in the movies." She says to her sister.

"Yang, those were mobsters in those movies."

"And he's a bureaucrat, which is basically the same thing." She replies before yelping when Weiss elbows her in the side. Peter looks over at the rest of the band members before asking Blake "What was they saying?"

"Oh, um, they were asking if the meeting is happening in the limousine." Blake answers the man, to which he lets out a hearty laugh.

"Ohohoho, that's rich. What do I do like, someone from the mob?" He asks them as he continues chuckling, Yang awkwardly laughing along with him. "Oh, no no no. The limo is taking us to the airport."

"Alright, that makes sense." Weiss speaks out loud to herself before realizing the statement. "Wait, why are we going to the airport to meet?" She asks the man from Beacon. He raises one of his big eyebrows at the woman before figuring out what she meant.

"Oh my, I didn't tell you this part did I? The meeting is going to happen at our record studio in Los Angeles. The head of Beacon wants to meet his possible new talent personally before any ink touches the paper. We don't want rotten apples in our orchards, and he's good at reading people." He explains to them, which didn't do much since they were in shock through most of it after hearing they were going to LA. After they snapped out of it all at once, they started celebrating in the park.

"We're going to LA~, we're going to LA~!"

The gang follows Port along the sidewalk on the way to the record studio. So far, their adventure in the City of Angels has been a fun and, well, adventurous one. As much as I would've loved to share this with you all, I would also love to finish this story in the next 5 years so let's just skip to the meeting and when this is finished I will write those stories then, is that a deal?

Get it? Deal?

Anyways, our good old friends follow the golly man over into the building complex. We look around to see the main entrance hall of the building. As Port walks over to the desk to sign them all in, they look around what could possibly be their new workstation. The entrance room is very clean and fill to the brim with post-modern architecture. Looking at signs, they see down the halls are recording studios, mixing rooms, offices, lounge rooms, and even a film room to shoot small set music videos. Needless to say, they are making the most out of the building complex by having everything artists need in one address. After scanning around the complex, Port walks back over to them and asks the girls to follow him.

As they walk down the hallway, Port begins to talk. "Now, the faster way to his office would be to take the elevator to the left, but I thought going right and letting you all see some of the talent we take under our watchful eye would be the right thing to do. After all, you guys will practically be employees when this is over. Now, down this hallway is the recording studios. Right now, we have 4 of them and all 4 are being used by other artists and bands, but as soon as you sign on you can pencil yourself into a turn into the studio if need be." Port finishes as they turn the corner and start walking in front of the studios.

Even though it's soundproof, the glass makes it so they all can the people inside. As they walk down the hallways, they see a lot of the other artists at Beacon. They see multiple groups, some duos and other being full-on bands, along with single acts. Among those single acts among them is none other than Pyrrha Nikos, a musical prodigy proclaimed by, well, pretty much everyone. As they watch all the musicians play as they walk down the hallway, Port speaks up.

"As you may have noticed, a lot of the talent we have here is pretty young. The reason for that is that Ozpin focuses on the future of music rather than what's currently popular, and he would rather create stars than keep them. After a few years and albums here, most people goes out to get bigger contracts on bigger labels. All we do here at Beacon Records is to help you get your foot in the door." he finishes explaining before heading up the stairs to the upper floors.

As they head towards the room, they look around at the plagues on the wall on the way to Ozpin's office. Golds, Platinums, and even a diamond on the wall, seeing these cause it to really hit home to the band. They are this close to making it. Their lives are a signature away from changing forever. As they walk by, they see an older woman walk past them with a tablet in her hand and wearing frustration on her face like it's part of the company dress code.

The gentleman chuckles as he begins to ask her "I take it Ozpin is in his office, Miss Goodwitch?"

The sigh along with the adjusting of her glasses were enough of an answer to his question, but she still answers Port with a response. "Why yes he is, and since you are here, now is a good time to remind you that Ozpin prefers you only mail him something straight to his office when it's an emergency, not when it is convenient for you Peter." he scolds the man in front of the band, likely not paying attention to him.

"Is Ozpin open for a meeting right now or is someone else in there?" Port asks her, dodging the newly gained information he received from Glynda. Squeezing the bridge of her nose, she replies.

"Yes, Mister Ozpin is open right now. And I guess these are the kids you found on your paid day off. That paid vacation that somewhat turned into 4 days across the same time the Cubs had a home series of 4 games. How was your vacation by the way?" she asks him with a calm voice, but the daggers she stares into him implies a more sinister undertone. Port pulls on his collar while trying to think his way out of this, but his answer comes to him as the door behind her opens to reveal the man himself.

"Why hello there Peter, glad you made it back safe." he says to his friend before taking a sip of his mug. "And I take it you're the band our talent scout found while technically off the job?" he questions, addressing the four who were paying attention to the other two while he walked out.

"Hello sir! My name is Ruby Rose and this is our band! Which is named RWBY. Which, um, technically it isn't named after me but it's pronounced the same as my first name but it's spelled differently with the first letters of our first names and it just so happened to-" Ruby rambles on to the head of Beacon Records before Blake covers her mouth with her hand.

"What Ruby meant to say was that we are called RWBY, R-W-B-Y." Blake tells the man while Ruby still mumbles into her palm as if she is continuing her sentence still. A smile creeped up on his face as he took another sip.

"Well well well, Peter told me you four were an interesting bunch and you are living up to his claims so far." he jokes to them which they respond by laughing nervously, not knowing if that was a compliment or not. "Anyways, do you want to come into my office so we can begin with your interview?" he asks the young girls, who nod their heads and walk into his office to begin the meeting.
