Chapter 11

A Single Night

We left Guadosalam and went to the Thunder Plains. Rikku looked scared. I put my arm around her and smiled.

"It'll be alright." I said.

"How are we supposed to cross that?"

"We stray not too close and not too from the towers." Lulu explained.

We nodded and started to walk. There were a couple of close calls until we reached the travel agency. A lightening bolt struck the tower next to us.

"That was a close one ya? Hahahaha!"

I smiled at Wakka. Lulu walked past him.

"Stop kidding around."

"Yes ma'am."

"Ehehehehehe."

We all turned and looked at Rikku.

" 'Ehehehehe' you're giving me the creeps." Tidus said.

She dropped down and then crawled to Tidus. She grabbed his leg and refused to let go.

"I wanna go home! I hate lightening! I hate thunder! Let's go rest over there, please?"

"This storm never stops. Better to pass through quickly."

We went on to the travel agency where Rikku stopped.

"Please?" she begged.

They started to walk off again.

"You're not gonna leave me here all alone are you?"

They started to walk off again.

"Your moms would be ashamed of you."

They walked back again.

"Fine, we rest. She's worse than the storm."

I smirked and we all went inside. Yuna asked for a room and so did Auron. Once everyone was asleep I snuck into Auron's room. He looked to be asleep. I walked over and sat down on the edge of his bed. I touched his hand and he suddenly grabbed it. I slowly looked up to find his eye open. He sat up.

"Why are you here Amahy?" he asked.

I took a deep breath.

"Because I want you to kiss me."

He looked completely shocked.

"Amahy I can't I…."

I squeezed his hand.

"Please Auron. I know you said we can never be…..but I want you to be my first." I whispered.

He slowly lifted my face and then stroked my cheek. He moved me onto his lap and looked deep into my eyes.

"Only this once Amahy….after that this must end. It's for your own good." he said softly.

I nodded and he gently traced my lips. Very slowly he leaned forward. I put my hand on the side of his face and leaned with him. His nose touched mine and then at last his lips were on mine. I closed my eyes and relaxed in his arms. The outside world did not exist, it was just Auron and I. I wound my arms around his neck and kissed him harder. If this was to be the only kiss we shared then I wanted it to be a good one.

Auron's POV

She kissed me harder and I responded in kind. I held her tighter and let my passion and lover for her take over. It was only to be one time, I wanted to make it pleasurable. When she opened her mouth I slipped my tongue inside. She moaned softly and her fingers knotted in my hair. I put one hand on her hip and the other between her shoulders. I fell back but I didn't stop the kiss. She rolled so I was on top of her and her tongue danced with mine. I moved to a different position and I felt her lower region brush against mine. I was very aroused and I knew I had to stop myself. If she had felt my reaction to her she didn't show it. I pulled back and closed my eyes.

"You need to go Amahy." I said.

"Auron why not continue? Are you afraid I'll regret it?"

I got up off her and turned away.

"Auron?" she asked.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself and my engorged flesh.

"Auron if you want me you can have me." She said.

I would not want anything else…

"I cannot Amahy. I just can't. I can't let you become too emotionally attached to me….because you and I both know that eventually…."

I stopped, unable to say the words.

"I understand."

Her voice shook and I shut my eye again.

"I shouldn't have asked for what I did. I'll go." she said.

She went towards the door.

"Amahy…"

She was gone. I sat back down on the bed and covered my face with my hand.

"I love you." I whispered.

Amahy's POV

I leaned against the door and held back my tears. I slowly walked back and went to sleep.
