Episode 10: Tune Thieves and Tree Huggers
Hi everyone! Thank you sooooooooo much for the reviews, I'm only 14 reviews away from my DREAM! THAT IS AMAZING! I don't own Austin and Ally. I'm soooooo sorry I haven't updated in a while. BTW I am sooo excited for Fresh starts and Farewells, especially the kiss, only a few more weeks of waiting left! WOOOOOO HOOOOOO! Okay so on with the story! I really hope you liked episode 9 but as I always say, it is completely okay if you didn't. Here is episode 10, really hope you like it!
'I love you Austin, I love you' Ally thought to herself silently while still staring deeply into his hazel eyes. Suddenly the shock came to her and she began to panic. She began hyperventilating dramatically and her hands started shaking very quickly.
"Alls, are you okay?" Austin asked worriedly while looking at her in confusion. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, nothing's wrong, it's not like I just realized something huge about myself or that Trish and Dez were right all along or that I really WAS JEALOUS OR THAT YOU HAVE REALLY PRETTY EYES OR THAT I'M COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH Y-" Ally shouted rapidly but was interrupted when Dez burst into the room.
"Guys, I just found out something terrible!" He shouted dramatically and began biting his nails childishly.
"I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A CRISIS DEZ, WHAT'S MORE TERRIBLE THAN THAT? UHHH! I NEED TRISH!" Ally blurted out loudly and rushed out of the room leaving both boys confused.
"What's with teenage girls these days?" Austin asked after a few seconds.
"I know right! Yesterday at school, I asked Maddie why she had so many pimples, and she started crying! I was just curious, I didn't want her to cry!" Dez replied weirdly, while Austin rolled his eyes at how oblivious his best friend could be when it came to other people's insecurities.
"I hope Ally's okay, she's been acting kinda weird for a while," Austin said. "I wonder what's been happening." Dez suddenly began to look around nervously, his breathing became faster and he started sweating. Austin immediately noticed and asked. "Dez, do you know something?"
"I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING! WHY ARE YOU QUESTIONING ME?! CAN'T A GUY TELL HIS BEST FRIEND SOME TERRIBLE NEWS IN PEACE?!" Dez shouted quickly and dramatically.
"Fine sheesh, no need to shout. What's your terrible news?" Austin replied and walked over to Dez.
"You know that giant tree right outside the mall?" Dez began and Austin nodded. "Well it's going to be cut down in a week!"
"This is great!" Austin said excitedly and fist pumped the air.
"What? Why?" Dez asked in confusion.
"Every time I touch that Tree, I get bad luck for that whole day," Austin replied while shuddering.
"That is so not true Austin, your exaggerating-" Dez started.
"Am I?" Austin snapped dramatically. "Exactly 2 years ago on this very day, I accidentally touched that dreaded tree. That same day, I broke my ankle, banged into a door, slipped on a banana peel and lost my favourite pencil, you know the one with the zaliens on it."
"Coincidence buddy," Dez replied.
"Really? Last month, I was accidentally pushed into that dreaded tree. That day, I ruined my favourite T-Shirt, fell down my house stairs, fell off the park swing, got hit with the dodgeball in gym, which might I add, never happens, and almost got hit by a giant truck! Coincidence, I think not!" Austin said and crossed his arms childishly.
"Austin, I mean this in the nicest possibly way," Dez said and put a hand on Austin's shoulder. "What kind of paranoid weirdo remembers every single day he touched a random tree, and remembers the exact things that happened on that day."
"Hey! I'm not a paranoid weirdo, I just know that tree hates me," Austin mumbled in reply.
"Well it loves me!" Dez exclaimed.
"How do you know?" Austin asked curiously.
"Well, remember when I was 8 years old, I had a loose tooth and really wanted it to come out. So I tried everything," Dez replied.
"Oh yeah, I remember that, you even asked Billy Burnes to punch you in the mouth, but of course I stopped him doing anything," Austin smiled.
"Thanks for that, I now see it wasn't the right way to go, Billy was HUGE!" Dez replied while doing some weird hand gestures. "Anyway, so when I'd finally lost all hope of getting my tooth out while walking home, I banged into the tree so hard, that my tooth came out. I've loved that beautiful tree ever since," He continued and wiped an imaginary tear from his eye while Austin looked at his ginger best friend blankly.
"Well Dez, what can we do about it?" Austin asked. "How are two teenagers gonna stop a tree being cut down?"
"I don't know Austin, I just don't know," Dez replied while flipping his hair, then walked dramatically out of the room. Austin smiled at his friend's craziness and then sat back down on the piano seat. He began playing random notes while his thoughts drifted to Ally. He was worried about her and hoped nothing was wrong.
"What's wrong with you Ally?" He said quietly to himself and then continued playing the piano absent mindedly.
Meanwhile, in the Mall
"Trish?" Ally said into her cell phone while she sat quietly at one of the food court tables. "I need your help."
"Hey Ally, I'm kinda busy at work-" Trish replied through the phone until Ally interrupted.
"It's about Austin," She said.
"I'll be right there!" Trish exclaimed excitedly. "Hey boss I QUIT!" Ally heard Trish yell to her boss through the phone, and giggled. "I'll be there soon Ally." A few seconds later Trish was standing at the table while breathing heavily, she was wearing a giant apple costume, complete with a headband with a cup of fake apple juice on top. She even had matching apple patterned shoes.
"Wow, well that was fast," Ally smiled.
"This had better be good Ally, because I ran all the way here," Trish said and then paused to breathe. "So spill the beans."
"Uhh, I hate that phrase, I mean seriously, who would purposely spill beans?" Ally asked weirdly while Trish rolled her eyes.
"Just tell me what happened," She said with slight annoyance in her voice. Suddenly, Ally felt embarrased about openly voicing her feelings and tried to change the subject.
"So Trish, new job?" She asked awkwardly.
"No, I'm just walking around the mall in a giant apple suit, because I feel like it," Trish replied sarcastically.
"Hey, have you noticed that there's a fountain over there," Ally said randomly.
"Ally stop stalling," Trish replied bluntly.
"Whaaaaaaaat? I'm not stalling, that's a funny word stalling, it ends in ing, let's think of other words that end in ing! Falling crawling zawling-"
"ALLY STOP! Zawling isn't a word, and your still stalling! Now tell me wha-" Trish began but Ally cut her off.
"I'M IN LOVE WITH AUSTIN!" She shouted and then covered her red face with her hands.
"Woooo hooooo! Well it's about time you admitted it! Me and Dez were right!" Trish cheered crazily and began dancing like a mad person.
"Why are you happy Trish, this is gonna make things so hard between us!" Ally replied sadly. "He obviously doesn't like me back and he has a beautiful girlfriend."
"Ally, I know for a fact, that Austin thinks your way more important than that Ashley girl, and how do you know he doesn't have feelings for you, have you asked him?" Trish asked and put her hands on her hips.
"What! Of course not, what if he rejects me!" Ally replied immediately.
"What if he doesn't reject you?" Trish said simply.
"But what if he does!"
"What if he doesn't!"
"Triiiiish! Stop arguing and just let me sulk," Ally said and pouted childishly.
"Ally, now you've finally admitted to liking Austin, you obviously have to tell him!" Trish snapped.
"Nope. Never. Not in a million years," Ally replied bluntly while staring at the short Latina like she was an alien for even suggesting the idea.
"Okay, maybe we should wait a while before we get to that stage," Trish sighed and Ally half smiled. "I'm sorry about all this drama Ally, I know you really like him."
"I'll get over it," Ally replied while looking down. "Thanks for talking to me Trish, your a great best friend." Trish smiled and said.
"I'd hug you Ally, but it's kinda hard to in a big, round apple suit."
"Speaking of apples, what kind of apple, isn't an apple?" Ally asked randomly while doing weird hand actions.
"I'm in a nice mood, so I'm not gonna ignore one of your awful jokes. So what kind of apple, isn't an apple?" Trish asked, trying extremely hard not to sound bored.
"A PINEAPPLE!" Ally shouted and burst out laughing hysterically, while Trish just stared at her with a look that said 'Are you serious?'
"Sorry, but that joke is so bad I can't even fake laugh at it," She replied while shaking her head bluntly. Suddenly, Dez ran over to them, while breathing heavily and shaking his head like a crazy person, so his ginger hair was flipping at a rapid speed.
"Dez, stop shaking your head, and breathe!" Ally said worriedly, but the tall boy ignored her. Trish rolled her eyes and put a hand on each side of Dez's head to stop it moving.
"Stop moving, OR I'LL HAUNT IN YOUR SLEEP, IDIOT!" She screamed which made Dez immediately freeze. "Thank you."
"Guys, I bring bad news," Dez said freakily.
"What! Did someone die!? Oh no, who died! WHO DIED! I SO CAN'T DEAL WITH THIS RIGHT NOW! FIRST AUSTIN GETS A GIRLFRIEND, THEN SOMEONE DIES! WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY LIFE!" Ally shouted awkwardly and dramatically while doing weird hand gestures.
"Ally, leave the freaking out to the pros," Dez said bluntly while gesturing to himself. "No one's dead, I just came to tell you guys that the big tree at the entrance at the mall is being cut down."
"What! I love that tree, I have memories with that tree! I HAD MY FIRST ARM WRESTLE AT THAT TREE!" Trish shouted sadly.
"Oh yeah I remember that, and since then you haven't lost a single arm wrestle," Ally smiled.
"I love that tree," Trish said while looking off into the distance as if she was remembering something.
"So do I! Come on Trish we have to stop that tree being cut down!" Dez said loudly and excitedly.
"Yeah!" Trish shouted and they high fived childishly. Ally smiled and watched as they ran away from the table with determination on their faces. She rolled her eyes.
"They are so gonna be married in 10 years," She said quietly to herself and laughed.
Meanwhile, at Trish's House
"I still don't understand why we couldn't go to my house!" Dez said dramatically and crossed his arms childishly.
"For the last time Nuthead, we can't go to your house because it smells worse than rotten eggs, mouldy cheese and anchovies all mushed together in a big bowl of dog poo!" Trish exclaimed angrily while Dez looked at her calmly.
"Trish, have you ever even smelt rotten eggs, mouldy cheese and anchovies mixed with dog poo?" He asked.
"Well, no but-"
"No buts! How do you know it isn't the best smell in the world, if you haven't even smelt it?" He said in a patronizing tone, which made Trish feel kind of stupid, even though Dez's point was completely idiotic.
"Ya know Dez, sometimes I wonder how I even know a foolish and extremely gullible boy like you," She replied tiredly.
"And I wonder how I know a loud and obnoxious girl like you," Dez said happily, because somewhere in his crazy mind he thought they were complimenting eachother. Trish's anger level began to get higher again, and she had to use all her will power to not call her little brother and make him do bad things to the redhead in front of her.
"Dez, I think we should stop arguing and get on with the whole Tree thing," She replied in a surprisingly calm tone, with a fake smile on her face.
"Your right it's best we stop, arguing gives me gas, if you know what I mean," He smiled and then held his nose dramatically, while Trish looked at him in disgust.
"Burp, and I'll break your arms. Fart, and I'll kill you." She growled while taking a few steps away from him.
"Okay," He squeaked quietly.
"Moving on, what can we do to stop the Tree being cut down?" She asked seriously while sitting on a chair.
"Oh oh oh! I have loads of ideas!" He shouted excitedly.
"Well?" She asked impatiently.
"Oh you want me to tell you them now?" He asked. She rolled her eyes and nodded. "Okay, we could steal the tree and hide it in my backyard!"
"We can't steal a tree and hide it in your backyard Dez," Trish replied.
"Fine, we can hide it in my room then, if you wanna be picky," He replied stupidly. She facepalmed while silently wondering how a human being could lack so much sense.
Back at Sonic Boom
"Thank you for shopping at Sonic Boom!" Ally said cheerily while waving at a customer.
She stopped suddenly when she saw Austin walking quickly towards the store. She suddenly began to mess with her hair and straighten out her clothes. Next, she rapidly pulled out some lipstick from her bag and messily applied some onto her lips.
"Quick, how do I look!" She whisper shouted cazily at a random customer, they completely ignored her. "Hey, don't you know it's rude to ignore people!" She shouted after them and sighed.
"Who are you shouting at Alls?" Austin's calm voice came from behind her which made her jump.
"Austin, when did you get here?" She asked trying to sound oblivious.
"Ally, I know you saw me walking towards the store," He replied with a chuckle while she blushed in embarrasment.
"Whaaaaaaat? I didn't s-see you, pfff why would you t-t-think I s-saw you?" Ally stuttered nervously while trying not to look at him.
"Your the worst liar ever," He laughed and she couldn't help but smile.
"Well, I'd better get back to work," Ally said and turned to walk back to the counter, but Austin stopped her by wrapping his hand around her wrist. Sparks ran through her arm and she blushed lightly, while he turned her around in one swift move and pulled her closer.
"Wait, you've got a smudge of lipstick at the side of your mouth," He said gently and moved his face closer to hers. He then lifted his hand and began to wipe the smudge away with his thumb, while staring intently at her mouth. Her cheeks blushed even more and her knees got weaker from his touch. She gazed at his handsome face, that was deep in concentration, and had to use all her will power to not kiss him.
'Austin, why do you have to be so adorable?' She thought to herself. 'And why do you have to have a girlfriend?' Her heart sunk as she reminded herself that her amazing best friend and crush- had a girlfriend.
"There you go, all gone," Austin said cheerily, interrupting her thoughts.
"Wha-what?" She asked, still slightly in a daze.
"The smudge is gone," He replied with a grin, which made Ally smile back brightly. "You know Alls you have a really beautiful smile."
"And you have really beautiful eyes," She blurted out quickly before she even had time to stop herself. Before Austin could reply, Ashley walked into the store confidently and wrapped her arms around his waist.
"Hi Austy, are you ready to go?" She asked in a sickly sweet voice while batting her eyelashes.
"Go where?" Austin asked in confusion.
"To the melody diner silly, remember our date?" Ashley replied and he shook his head. "Oh did I not tell you? Oopsie, I must have forgot! Well let's go then!" She began to pull him away but he stopped her.
"Hold on Ashley, I'm talking to Alls," He said and turned back to his best friend.
"It's okay Austin, you can go to your date," Ally replied calmly, with a smile.
"Thanks, Alls," Ashley replied, finally deciding to speak to Ally.
"You know, my name is actually Ally not Alls, Austin just calls me that as a nickname," Ally said quietly and smiled at her blonde friend.
"Austy, why don't I have a nickname? I'm your girlfriend," Ashley whined and Austin sighed.
"I think he knows that, you remind him everyday," Ally muttered to herself.
"What was that, Sally?" Ashley snapped.
"Nothing!" Ally replied almost immediately. "And it's Ally."
"Let's go Austy, you can work on my nickname later!" Ashley demanded loudly and then began to pull Austin out of the store. He smiled weakly at Ally who giggled at his facial expression, and waved as he let the Australian girl drag him away.
15 minutes later
"You really think you can stay tied to a tree longer than me, nuthead?" Trish's loud voice boomed through the store as her and Dez entered. "Please, you couldn't last for five minutes!"
"I could stay tied to that tree for years," Dez said confidently and flipped his hair.
"Hey Ally, can you please tell this doof that he couldn't last five minutes tied to the big tree outside the mall," Trish said angrily.
"What are you guys even talking about?" Ally asked curiously.
"You know that tree getting cut down, outside the mall," Trish started.
"Yeah, you and Dez were talking about it at lunch," Ally replied.
"Well, to stop it being cut down, me and Trish are gonna tie ourselves to it!" Dez finished excitedly and began jumping around and clapping his hands dramatically.
"Are you sure you two can handle being tied to the same tree for hours or even days," Ally said in disbelief.
"I think you mean, can Dez handle being tied to a tree for hours, because it's a piece of cake for me," Trish replied boldly, Dez rolled his eyes.
"Trish, everyone knows that you can't commit to anything! That's why you always get fired from jobs," He replied childishly and Trish gasped dramatically.
"I can totally commit to stuff! I've got a new job yesterday, and I haven't been fired yet," Trish said happily.
"Where do you work now Trish?" Ally said and rolled her eyes playfully.
"I erm well er, I'm not wearing the uniform so I don't really know," Trish replied sheepishly. Before anyone could answer a buzzing sound came from her pocket to signal that she was getting a call. "Hello?"
"Trish why haven't you been to work this week?!" A squeaky voice boomed through the phone, startling all three of them.
"Who is this?" Trish replied in confusion.
"Your Boss at the curtain shop! MR FLURRY!" Mr Flurry tried to shout, but it came out so squeaky that Trish could hardly understand him.
"What did you say your name was? Mr Curry?" Trish asked.
"No! FLURRY! MR FLURRY!" He squeaked again.
"Curry? Mr Curry?" Trish tried again which made the older man on the other side of the phone sigh in annoyance.
"What's that about curry," Dez asked curiously.
"DEZ SHUT UP I'M ON THE PHONE!" Trish bellowed angrily and slapped the back of his head.
"OUCH! Ally, Trish hit me!" Dez whined babyishly which made Ally roll her eyes.
"Don't worry Dez, Trish has hit you plenty of times and your head always stays completely normal- wait scratch that, Dez your head has never been normal," Ally replied in exasperation.
"Thanks Ally," He replied thankfully. "Wait what?"
"WELL IF YOU THINK I'M SUCH A LAZY WORKER! YOU CAN TAKE YOUR CURTAIN SHOP AND STUFF IT WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE, MR CURRY! AND BY THE WAY YOU SHOULD REALLY GET YOUR VOICE CHECKED, BECAUSE EITHER PUBERTY DIDN'T REACH YOU, OR YOU HAVE THE VOICE OF A BABY MOUSE!" Trish screamed into the phone, which caused all the customers to look at the three teens in confusion.
"What's wrong Trish? What happened," Ally asked calmly, while Dez looked extremely scared of the Latina in front of them.
"Nothing much. Got fired. Shouted at my boss. What else is new?" Trish replied bluntly.
"What was that about curry?" Dez asked randomly.
"Forget it nuthead, so when are we gonna go tie outselves to the tree?" Trish asked tiredly while rubbing her temple.
"We can do it tomorow Trish at around 6:00pm, cause the tree is getting cut down at 6:30pm. That is, if you even show up," Dez replied insultingly which made Trish's eyes narrow in anger and determination.
"Ya know what freckles, why don't we make this tree thing interesting?" She said menacingly.
"I'm listening," Dez replied dramatically and flipped his hair while turning to face her fully.
"Whoever leaves the tree first has to give the other- a foot rub," She replied and he gasped melodramatically, while Ally shook her head in amusement, knowing this whole thing was a bad idea.
"A FOOT RUB! But Trish your feet stink! I just can't take that chance!" Dez shouted while doing crazy hand actions.
"Why? Scared you'll lose?" Trish teased, slyly.
"NEVER! Bring it on De La Rosa!" He replied loudly.
"Oh I will, freckles," She said evily while shaking his hand roughly. "Alright, see you both later, I gotta go get a new job," Trish said quickly and then left the store with a sneaky look on her face.
"Hey Ally, I just had a great idea!" Dez screamed randomly which startled Ally.
"What is it Dez?" She asked slowly, hoping his crazy idea wouldn't affect her too much.
"I'm gonna set up cameras all over Sonic Boom, just to make sure Trish isn't cheating or anything," He said, sounding very proud of himself.
"Dez, how could Trish possibly cheat?" Ally asked in confusion while handing a customer their change.
"Ally she's Trish, she'll find a way," He replied dramatically, which made Ally roll her eyes playfully.
"You don't need to worry Dez, this store already has cameras," She smiled.
"But those ones are soooo boring! Mine are so much clearer and can record sound from miles away!" He replied loudly and excitedly.
"Fine," Ally sighed. "You can use your cameras, just don't go over board."
"Yay! Thanks Ally, I'm gonna go get them from my house. They should be set up in a few hours!" Dez shouted and then skipped out of the store childishly, while Ally shook her head at him and laughed.
A few hours later at around 8:00pm
Ally is in the practise room alone while the store is closed, and Dez has just left after setting up his cameras.
"Dear Book, I just don't know how to deal with Austin having a girlfriend, it hurts every time he's with her and I just don't know what to do. Do you think I will eventually get over him, or should I tell him how I feel? Why does being a teenager have to be so hard? Love Ally," Ally said quietly to herself as she wrote her thoughts down in her book.
"Maybe writing a song would help."
1 hour later
Smooth talkin', So rockin'
He's got everything that a girl's wantin'
Guitar cutie, He plays it groovy
And I can't keep myself from doing somethin' stupid
Think I'm really falling for his smile
Get butterflies when he says my name
He's got something special
He's got something special
And when he's looking at me, I wanna get all sentimental
He's got something special
He's got something special
I can hardly breathe something's telling me
Telling me maybe he could be the one
He could be the one
He could be the one
He could be the one
He could be the one
He could be the one-
Ally was in the middle of singing her new song, when the door of the practise room suddenly swung open.
"Hi Sally," Ashley's voice sounded through the practice room. "Great song you got there."
"Ashley? What are you doing here, how did you get in? I locked up the store," Ally replied worriedly.
"The door was open when I got there," Ashley shrugged and took a step closer to Ally, who was sat at the piano.
"Okay, so what are you doing here?" Ally asked with a forced smile on her face.
"I have something to tell you," Ashley replied calmly. "A message from Austin."
"But, if Austin had something to tell me he would tell me himself-" Ally began.
"He told me he doesn't need you anymore, I'm his new songwriter," Ashley interrupted bluntly. Ally's eyes widened for a second before she spoke again.
"B-but, can you even write songs?"
"I'm gonna try, I'm gonna do anything to cut you out of my boyfriend's life completely." Ashley replied bitterly.
"Why? Why are you doing this?" Ally asked quietly.
"Because Austy doesn't need you, he has me," Ashley replied which made Ally's anger level rise.
"His name is Austin," She said boldly while standing up and facing the other girl properly.
"Whatever. He told me he doesn't want you as his songwriter anymore, so I think you should just leave him alone," Ashley replied evily.
"Your lying, your a liar," Ally said strongly but couldn't stop the tears beginning to form in her eyes.
"I'm telling the truth, why do you care so much anywa- oh yeah, you have a crush on him," Ashley smirked.
"Wha-what? I don't like Austin, I never have and I never will. Not in that way," Ally lied, still trying her hardest not to cry.
"Just keep away from him alright. He doesn't want your help anymore," Ashley said sharply. Tears fell down Ally's face slowly and she felt her heart stinging. She tried not to believe Ashley, but a tiny voice inside was telling her that her words were true. She stared at the floor for a while before rushing out of the room and out of the store.
The next day in the Practise Room
"I think your mistaken Ashley, Ally's not like that," Austin said firmly.
"It's true, yesterday she told me that she only wanted to be your partner because she knew you would get famous," Ashley lied.
"That can't be true, she's my best friend," Austin replied.
"Fine, I have proof," Ashley said and then took her phone out of her pocket. "Listen to this recording from the conversation we had yesterday.
"I don't like Austin, I never have and I never will" Ally's voice came clearly through the phone. Austin's eyes narrowed in confusion.
"I thought we were best friends, a-and she doesn't even like me?" He said quietly, his eyes reflecting hurt.
"I'm sorry Austin, I just don't want my boyfriend to be lied to by some girl," Ashley replied, trying to sound sad.
Meanwhile, downstairs in the store
"She's lying to you Ally! You can't trust her!" Trish shouted angrily as her and Ally entered the store and walked towards the counter where Mr Dawson was working.
"Hey Dad, I can work at the counter now," Ally said calmly to her Dad.
"Thanks Ally, I was missing free sample time at the food court!" Mr Dawson replied. "Well better go before that annoying Bill guy from the surf shop eats all the mini rolls."
"Actually I think it's Billl, with three-," Trish started but stopped when she realized Lester had already left the store.
"Man, sometimes I think my dad loves free food more than this store," Ally smiled while shaking her head.
"Okay back to our original topic. SHE'S LYING TO YOU ALLY! AUSTIN WOULD NEVER SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT!" Trish shouted.
"Your probably right Trish, I'm gonna go talk to him just to be sure though," Ally replied and walked up to the Practise Room quickly. Just as she was about to reach for the door handle, she heard a voice singing from inside- and it certainly wasn't Austin.
He could be the one
He could be the one
He could be the one
Her song. IT WAS HER SONG! But why was Ashley singing it? She decided to listen outside the room for a while, just to find out what was going on.
"That's a great song Ashley, but I want to keep Ally as my songwriter, even if she doesn't like me," Austin's voice came from inside the room.
"But I'm your girlfriend, and I wrote that song for you!" Ashley's voice was heard after. Ally's blood boiled and her fists clenched in anger, before she could stop herself she burst into the room and shouted.
"LIAR! I wrote that song yesterday and you stole it! Don't listen to her Austin, she's a LIAR!"
"Why should you listen to her Austin, she's never liked you, she's just using you for your talent!" Ashley lied.
"That's not true Austin! I don't just like you I lo-" Ally began.
"Save it Ally, I heard you say it on the recording Ashley showed me. I just can't believe you would say that, I-I thought we were friends. Guess I was wrong," Austin whispered. Ally could hear his voice cracking slightly and it broke her heart.
"Austin we are best friends, whatever she told you is a complete lie," She replied while tears began to fill her eyes.
"I think you should leave," Ashley said coldly.
"Austin-" Ally pleaded while touching his shoulder.
"Ashley's right, you should leave," Austin interrupted and turned away from her. The tears ran freely down her face as she dashed out of the room and back down the stairs. She ignored Trish's questions, rushed out of the store, and ran all the way home.
At Ally's house an hour later
Ally has stopped crying but is still very upset about what happened. She has finished writing a new song which has helped her get some of her feelings out, and is in now singing it in her bedroom.
He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car, I keep singing
Don't know why I do-
"ALLY! Open up, I know your in there," Trish's voice bellowed from behind the house door, interrupting Ally.
"Trish? What are you doing here?" Ally asked loudly while hurrying downstairs and opening the front door.
"I wanted to check if you were okay, but I thought it would be best to give you some time alone first," Trish replied.
"Thanks Trish, I wrote a song and I feel kinda better now," Ally said with a half smile and a nod.
"So, can you tell me what happened?" Trish asked slowly.
"Sure," Ally nodded while letting the short latina in, they both walked up to her room and sat on her bed. Trish then gestured for Ally to start.
"I lost him Trish, he's not my best friend anymore," She began sadly. "Ashley lied to him to make him hate me." Trish punched the bed in anger.
"Just say the word Ally, and I will make bad things happen to that girl," Trish said mischeviously, while rubbing her hands together evily.
"No, that won't solve anything. I just wish everything would go back to normal, back to when Ashley wasn't here," Ally replied and looked down.
"I've still got a few hours before the tree is getting cut down, why don't we watch a few romance movies? I've got chips, ice cream and loads of chocolate!" Trish said excitedly while pulling the stuff out of her bag.
"Thanks Trish," Ally smiled softly and hugged her best friend quickly.
"Hey, what are best friends for!" Trish laughed and grabbed the DVDs.
Meanwhile, at Dez's house
"Dude my life is so messed up!" Austin sighed and then flopped down onto Dez's multi-coloured bed.
"What happened Austin?" Dez asked. "It can't be that bad."
"Ashley told me that Ally never liked me and is only using me for my talent!" Austin exclaimed.
"UNBELIEVABLE!" Dez shouted dramatically with a gasp.
"That Ally would lie like that?" Austin asked.
"No. That you would believe Ashley instead of Ally," Dez replied bluntly.
"But Ashley had proof! She showed me a recording of Ally saying it!" Austin said loudly.
"What were her exact words?" Dez asked curiously.
"They were 'I don't like Austin, I never have and I never will' How do you explain that?" Austin replied and crossed his arms.
"Maybe Ashley thought Ally had a crush on you, and she was just denying it?" Dez guessed and Austin's eyes widened.
"You could be right Dez! But why would my own girlfriend lie to me?" He asked in confusion.
"Read my lips Austin. Your. Girlfriend. Is. Evil!" Dez replied slowly and dramatically.
"I just don't know who to believe! Hey I have an idea, didn't you put cameras all over Sonic Boom?" Austin asked quickly and Dez nodded. "Then why don't we watch the videos the camera caught, maybe there's something on there!"
"Wow Austin, it turns out your not a dumb blonde after all! I never doubted you," Dez smiled and patted his best friend's shoulder.
"Yes you did," Austin reminded him, Dez simply ignored him and put the video in the TV. After a while of fast forwarding, they finally found a part where Ashley and Ally were talking in the Practise Room.
"Austin! Austin! I think this is their conversation!" Dez shouted exctiedly and they both settled down to watch.
This part is just a {FLASHBACK} of Ally and Ashley's conversation, so you don't have to read it again :)
{END OF FLASHBACK}
Both boys watched as Ally's eyes filled with tears as she rushed out of the practise room. Austin's face was red with anger and his fists were clenched, while his eyes were wide in realization.
"I'm a huge idiot Dez," He sighed guiltily and ran a hand through his hair.
"Got that right," Dez replied bluntly.
"A stupid, gullible and dumb idiot!" Austin repeated.
"Tell me something I don't know," Dez chuckled.
"You know Dez, your not very helpful in these situations," Austin said in annoyance while glaring at the taller ginger boy.
"Thanks Austin that means alot," Dez replied obliviously while Austin rolled his eyes and smiled.
"Hey Dez, what time are you and Trish stopping that tree getting cut down?" He asked. Dez glanced down at his watch quickly before replying.
"In 10 minutes why- WAIT! 10 MINUTES?! WE GOTTA GET GOING AUSTIN!" He shouted dramatically, while standing up and pulling Austin with him.
"Let's go!" Austin said quickly before they rushed out of the room.
Half an hour later
Outside the mall, the lumberjacks have gone on a quick coffee break before they cut down the tree. Trish and Dez have taken this to their advantage, and tied themselves to the tree. Many people have gathered because of all the noise that they are making.
"DON'T HURT TREES!" Trish bellowed.
"YEAH! TREES ARE PEOPLE TOO!" Dez shouted and Trish rolled her eyes.
"No they're not doofus," She whispered in annoyance. "By the way, did you talk to Austin about his argument with Ally?"
"Yeah, don't worry everything will be back to normal soon. Austin has a plan!" Dez replied excitedly.
"Good," She said calmly, and then they both began shouting again. "SAVE THE TREES- I MEAN TREE!"
"YEAH! TREES ARE PEOPLE TOO-" Dez began but was interrupted by an bald, fat and very lazy looking man, he was one of the lumberjacks.
"Kids, you have to get away from the tree so I can go home. My wife's cooking steak," He said in a bored tone.
"Never! We have memories from this tree. See this brown spot here!" Trish shouted and then gestured a patch of the ground near the tree. "I used to sit in that exact spot and search for bugs to fight eachother."
"Erm Trish, that spot isn't brown," Dez said slowly, and Trish realized he was right.
"What? I don't get it, that brown spot has been there for years!" Trish exclaimed and Dez's eyes widened as he noticed something to his left.
"Trish, do you mean that brown spot?" He said and pointed to a brown spot that was in front of the tree just a few metres away from them.
"Yeah, but-" Trish began but stopped when she realized what had happened. "Dez, you got the trees mixed up?" She asked angrily.
"S-sorry, at least our tree isn't getting cut down?" He tried sheepishly.
"You mean I've been tied to this tree with you for 20 minutes, FOR NOTHING?!" She growled while untying herself from the tree quickly.
"Yeah, haha, funny isn't it," He squeaked while untying himself and running away at rapid speed.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU NUTHEAD!" Trish roared and began to chase him quickly.
"Kids, who would ever want kids?" The lumberjack sighed lazily.
Meanwhile in the crowd
"Trish, where are you and Dez?" Ally asked into the phone while trying to push through the crowd.
"Hi Ally, there was a slight problem, me and Dez are back at Sonic Boom, but don't be surprised to find us at the hospital soon, because Nuthead here should be dead or injured in the next five minutes," Trish replied sharply and Ally was sure she could hear faint whimpering in the background.
"Tell me everything later okay Trish? I gotta get through this crowd, bye," Ally smiled.
"Bye, talk to you later," Trish replied and hung up the phone. Ally sighed in frustration and continued to push through the crowd, until she heard someone calling her name.
"ALLY! ALLY! ALLS!" Alls? Only Austin called her Alls, but it can't be him. Her thoughts were soon interrupted when someone grabbed her hand and began to drag her through the crowd quickly. She felt sparks run through her arm which she immediately recognised. It was Austin. After a few more seconds of being pulled through many people, they finally stopped outside Sonic Boom.
"Austin I-" Ally began but he cut her off.
"Ally listen, I'm so sorry. I'm a complete idiot for not believing you, your my best friend," Austin said softly and took one of her hands.
"It wasn't your fault, you have a really evil girlfriend," Ally smiled while trying not to freak out from his touch.
"She's not my girlfriend anymore," Austin replied bluntly.
"So you've broken up with her already?" Ally asked in disbelief.
"Well, erm- no, but I have a great plan to get revenge," Austin said happily and then pulled her in for a hug. She wrapped her arms around his neck and let herself melt into his embrace, while his arms wrapped around her back tightly. They swayed slowly and comfortable for a while until Austin spoke up.
"I really am sorry Alls," He whispered into her hair.
"It's okay, Austin," She replied softly while they pulled back slowly. He smiled warmly at her and she blushed deeply while smiling back.
'Why does this keep happening? Why do I keep getting completely lost in his perfect eyes? Quick Ally, look away!' Ally thought to herself and then immediately tore her eyes away from Austin's and to her feet.
"Ally, are you okay?" Austin asked, confused because of her previous actions.
"Yep, just in the mood to stare at my feet, you should try it sometime, it's really more interesting than it seems-" Ally babbled but was cut off by Austin placing a hand under her chin and tilting her head up, so she was looking at him again.
"Your an awful liar Alls," He whispered with a smile that made Ally's knees get weaker. "Now, let's go get some revenge."
Okay first of all, I am soooo sorry (once again) for not updating in like ages, I've been on holiday and am going back to school in a few days, unfortunately. If you have any ideas for Ashley's revenge, feel free to tell me in a review, The crazier the better!
Guest starring: Maia Mitchell as Ashley (Just to be clear, I don't hate maia mitchell, in fact I actually really like her and she seems like a really nice person. I chose her for this part because I have seen her play a bad character before. I especially love her in the fosters as Callie!)
I don't own Austin and Ally, or the songs Teardrops on my guitar by Taylor Swift- watch?v=xKCek6_dB0M ,and He could be the one by Miley cyrus- watch?v=Euen9yZiLUE
