Authors Notes: Bet you didn't see this coming! After watching the Star Wars: Solo film, I got into a huge urge for anything Star Wars, including this story, and seeing as it has been months since I updated it, I figured it was well past time to show this story some more love. Hope everyone enjoys this update, even if it is a little slow paced.
Bambucea09 ā Here you go, more chapters for this story!
Batgames ā Yes, this particular story is set during The Old Republic. Coincidentally, the Sith Lord that is Bloom's master is my own Sith Juggernaut. Only making a few tweaks from the MMO. Such as the story is sorta of set during the vanilla game, maybe into Rise of the Hutt Cartel. But may borrow some elements from the latest expansion.
Nicolastheconqueror ā As you can gather, Bloom and Stella are my favorite as well. Though I do like playing around with Flora as well. Since she seems the too innocent type that she has to be hiding some dark secret.
Path of Destruction
Chapter 11
Jaesa realized she had been severely mistaken, as she paid out one hundred credits to Bloom. It had taken fourteen jolts from the blonde princes collar to silence his ranting. However, that was only because he was rendered unconscious. When the young prince came to, both Riven and Timmy had to restrain him before he started lashing out once more.
"If Sky is finished tossing his fit, we are about to depart to our next destination." Bloom commented before turning to the Imperial officer at the cockpit doorway. "Quinn, set a course for Hoth."
"At once my Lord, but first, the patient has awakened and is currently resting inside the infirmary."
Hearing this, Bloom turned to her master, a look of anticipation in her eyes. Receiving a nod in confirmation, the newly appointed Sith Lord made her way to the infirmary door.
From his position in the room, Riven watched as Bloom entered the infirmary and promptly shut the door behind her. Presumably locking it. Casting his eyes back into the cargo hold where the blonde prince was still recovering from his ordeal, the magenta haired specialist began to wonder if it would be Stella who would make Bloom remember who she was, since Sky seemed to be failing in that area.
Infirmary
Upon entering the dimly lit room, she could make out Stella's form, lying on one of the beds. The young Sith Lord was nervous, something she had felt in a long awhile. For the first time, she was worried about how her best friend would react to her change.
Letting out a soft sigh, she moved over towards the side of the bed.
"How are you feeling Stella?"
The blonde girl in question cast her eyes towards the silhouette, but sad nothing. Her eyes were dull, and no longer full of the brightness and joy they once held. Bloom could only imagine the horrors her friend was subjected to at the hands of those animals. The very thought caused her anger to rise up once more.
"You look different." Stella finally replied.
"Yeah." The young red head commented. "I've been going through some changes."
"Those powers you used when you rescued me." The sun fairy began, a distant look in her eyes as she recalled the memory. "Those weren't your fairy powers. What were they?"
With a heavy sigh, Bloom conceded to the fact that she would have to reveal what has been going on. She owed her best friend that much. Besides, she knew she would learn of what she had done, and will continue to do sooner or later.
"I can use something this universe calls 'The Force'." The young sith began. "Easiest way to explain it, is that it is like magic but requires no incantations. What you saw me use is called Force Malestorm. It's a dark side ability."
The red haired girl let the silence hang in the air between them. Trying to gauge how the other girl would react.
"They deserved it." The sun fairy replied. Evident hate in her eyes at the memory of what transpired.
"Yeah, they did." Bloom agreed.
"Can you turn on a light?"
Not saying a word, Bloom made a simple gesture with her hand, using the Force to maneuver the controls. Allowing the infirmary to light up. Silently bracing herself for what ever reaction Stella may have towards her new appearance.
"Why are you dressed like that?" The sun fairy asked, questioning the all black leather garb Bloom now wore. "What happened to you?"
"When the accident on Magix happened," Bloom began. "I landed on a planet called Taris. That is where my master found me."
"Master? You mean you're a slave?"
"No." The young sith replied. "After learning I could use the Force, he made me a deal. I become his apprentice and learn about the Force from him. In turn, he uses his connections to find the rest of you. That was just over three months ago.
Since then, I trained at his feet and learned the ways of the Dark Side of the Force. Stuff that makes everything we learned in Magix pale in comparison. Combat, that makes the Specialist look like children playing with sticks. Meanwhile, with his connections we found Riven, Timmy, Sky, you, and now we are on our way to pick up Layla."
Stella remained quiet as she lay on the bed, listening to her friend fill her in on the things that had transpired.
"And just a few hours ago I completed my Sith trials. No longer am I Bloom Peters, I am now Darth Caleo, Dark Lady of the Sith."
"Dark lady?" The sun fairy asked, more curious then alarmed by the title.
"I'm not going to lie to you Stel." Bloom began. "I've done some horrible things under my apprenticeship and will continue to do so while we are here. I've killed and tortured others."
"Bloom," Stella sat up from her laying position. "You did what you had to do to survive in this strange universe. I probably would have done the same if I were in your position."
"But would you have enjoyed it?" Bloom challenged. "Would you have enjoyed the killing like I do?"
That question seemed to halt the sun fairy as she looked over her friend. Casting her eyes down to the floor as she contemplated her answer. Of course the first thought that came to the young blondes mind was wielding such power the creatures that had captured and tortured her, her eyes narrowing at the memory.
"I⦠I don't know." She finally replied before turning to the Sith woman in front of her, fury evident in her eyes. "But I do know that if I had the power you do, I would have done the same to those animals that tortured me and ripped off my wings."
"At least your on my side about that." Bloom snorted, earning a curious look from Stella before she elaborated. "Sky and the other two didn't take too kindly with how I handled the Sand People, which is what those beasts are called. Even after seeing the condition you were in.
I got a whole lecture from Sky about how the Bloom he knew would have never done that. It was also during that tirade that my Master was fed up with his arrogance that he slapped a slave collar on the back of his neck. So now if Sky gets out of line, he gets a jolt to remind him where his place is."
"Did they not see how bad I was?" Stella questioned, even though Bloom had already said that the specialist had seen her condition. "How could they defend those beasts!?"
"Simple, because it doesn't align with his notions of what is good or bad." Bloom commented off hand. "Also, Sky was with the Jedi for three months, and there narrow minded ideals. He was with them for three months, and they barely lifted a finger to help him find us. Couldn't even teach him to read this galaxies language. Yet he still grovels at their feet."
Stella watched her companion. She could tell from the tone of her voice, the way she said the word 'Jedi', that she thought of them rather unkindly, even if she herself didn't quite understand what a Jedi was.
"What are the Jedi?"
"In a word, my enemy. The enemy of all Sith." The red head replied. "Speaking of which, I am going to ask Vette if she can help you learn to read and write in this galaxies language. I don't want you to be as clueless as Sky."
Stella couldn't help but give a small giggle, before the immediate question came to mind.
"Who is Vette?"
"Ah, yes. I forgot you were barely conscious when I brought you on board." Bloom replied. "Vette is the blue skinned Twi'lek. Yes, she is an alien. There are a few on this ship, including my Master. You'll get to meet them all when you feel recovered enough."
"I think I am fine now." Stella replied, letting her legs swing over the bed and slowly lower herself so that her feet were on the floor. It was then that she noticed something rather embarrassing.
"Where are my cloths!?" She exclaimed, looking down at her underwear.
"Sorry, we had to remove them for you to be treated in the kolto tank." Bloom responded with a gesture to the cylinder tank in front of them. "Vette left you some cloths on that shelf. I'll leave, so you can change."
Bloom began to make her way towards the door before turning to the sun fairy once more.
"Um, you said that something told you I was coming, what did you mean?"
Stella furrowed her brow as she remembered back.
"I am not sure. It was like a disembodied voice. Neither male or female kept talking to me. I remember what it said. 'One born in fire, forged in darkness shall appear. Granting reprieve whilst enacting vengeance.'
And then you appeared. Rescued me and laid the village I was held captive in to waste. So it had to been about you."
Bloom didn't reply. Taking in what she was told, she quickly departed the room, leaving the confused sun fairy to dress. The young Sith knew it was prudent to inform her master of this new discovery, and what it could possibly mean. Of course, as soon as she exited the infirmary, all three of the specialist had surrounded her. Sky still glaring at her new tattoo and sith attire.
"How is she?" asked Riven.
"She will be out in a few moments." Bloom replied. "Now, there is something I must discuss with my master."
Pushing past the boys, giving Sky an exceptionally harder shove, Bloom strode to the cockpit of the ship where Darth Viticus was over looking the galaxy map. Stars flying past the view port in streaks of white, with the occasional blue or red.
"How is our patient?" The Sith Lord asked, with genuine curiosity.
"She is full of hate towards the sand people, and I may have planted a few seeds of disdain towards the Jedi during our talk." Bloom smirked before her face turned serious again. "But she claims a disembodied voice told her I was coming to rescue her."
The sith lord gazed at his apprentice. Analyzing to see if there was any deceit in her words. Finding none, he stroked his muscular chin. Deep in thought.
"This is an interesting development." He finally stated.
"What does it mean, Master?"
"It is something we will have to ponder later." He replied as the ship came out of hyperspace. "For now, I have a special task for you to test your abilities."
Never one to back away from a challenge, Bloom nodded her head in acknowledgment. Peering out the view port as the ice planet of Hoth came into view.
Additional Authors Notes: Yay, another chapter done! I am going to start working on this story more as well, now that the creative bug has bitten me. I hope it's contagious.
Anyways, I know it felt a little awkward with the conversation between Bloom and Stella, and that is kind of what I wanted. Stella had just gone through some serious trauma and for the first time, Bloom is worried about how someone will react to her new life style.
Also, I left a few tidbits of teasers and hints. Pretty sure they are easy enough to spot.
