Episode 10
Gotta Run
Previously on… Survivor…
Peter was furious with Angela over her vote for Roy…
"I was willing to pick rocks for you, yet you weren't willing to pick rocks for me!" Peter shouts at Angela. "How is that fair?"
…as this gave Anise complete control of the game…
"I told you everything would be fine!" she tells Kasumi. "Now come play some games with us!"
Kasumi sighs. "You really put a target on your back by doing that."
"Kasumi, we have the numbers now. It's us five to the end. The order of the next four is completely insignificant. We can just party for the next 12 days!"
So Limberg and Cyrano desperately pleaded for Kasumi to turn on Anise…
"We need you, ah-CHOO," Cyrano tells Kasumi.
"Yeah, now you need me," Kasumi responds.
"But aren't you putting yourself in danger by trusting Anise so much?" Cyrano asks.
"Anise is the one calling the shots. If you want to get mad at anyone, get mad at her, don't get mad at me. I'm just following her alliance of five."
However, Kasumi remained loyal to Anise, and their alliance of five decided to vote out challenge beast Peter, leaving Limberg, Cyrano and Angela in a horrible position. Eight are left. Who will be voted out tonight?
Day 28
TJBambi Tribe
Limberg and Cyrano are complaining the next morning over Kasumi's failure to vote with them.
"I don't get it, squinky," Limberg says. "Kasumi's just going to follow Anise all the way to a late-game ousting."
"Or if she gets to the finals, she's not winning, ah-CHOO," Cyrano remarks. "She hasn't done anything on her own the whole game."
"Had Kasumi helped us out, not only would we be in a good position, but she would be in a good position," Limberg says. "Instead, she has screwed us over for the final time. Now we wait and we wonder when we're going to be voted off."
Meanwhile, Kasumi talks with Anise about how they should proceed in the game.
"Cyrano and Limberg aren't very happy with me," Kasumi tells Anise. "Should we vote them out next?"
"I'll see about that," Anise replies. "It depends on who I want out next."
"So you're just going to choose on a whim?"
"Of course!"
Kasumi simply shakes her head.
"Anise is not thinking straight," Kasumi says. "She needs to realize that Cyrano and Limberg are very dangerous, even if we have this strong alliance of five. What if one of them goes on an immunity run?"
But Anise goes on playing games with her group of girls.
"There's nothing to worry about, we've got this game completely under control!" Anise tells them.
"The order of the next three to be eliminated is completely meaningless," Anise says. "It'll be Angela, Cyrano and Limberg, in some order."
Later in the day, as most of the girls are resting, Grune muses about her chances of winning the game.
"I might not just be coming out of here with new friends," Grune says. "I may be coming out of here as the winner!"
But Angela comes up to Grune, wondering if she can save her own skin.
"Hey, Grune," Angela says. "I was wondering if you could keep me around longer."
"Oh, my," Grune replies. "I don't make that decision, you should ask Anise instead!"
So Grune goes over to Anise to ask her about staying around.
"Come on, keep me around," Angela says. "I helped you guys out once already."
"Hmmmm…" Anise says. "I'll think about it. Right now, we're choosing between you and Limberg."
"I deserve to be around more than that rat!"
"You may be right. I'll have to figure that out for myself."
Angela walks away, dissatisfied.
"I really want to stay in this game, but it seems like I'm utterly hopeless," Angela says. "I guess I'm just going to have to win a whole lot of immunities."
Day 29
That next morning, Grune goes to check the mail.
"Oh, my, what have we here?"
She brings the mail over to the other girls.
"It says we're going to meet people we love today!" Fluttershy exclaims.
"So exciting!" Konata exclaims.
"Well, let's go!" Anise shouts.
Reward Challenge
"Come on in, guys!"
The eight remaining players walk into the reward challenge area.
"You guys ready to get to today's challenge?"
"Yeah!"
"You are about to receive a little love. So, let's bring out your loved ones!"
Everyone looks on excitedly.
"Cyrano, I know you got to talk to her several days ago, but now you can do so in person. Here's your wife Snooty!"
Cyrano and Snooty lumber over to each other and embrace in a big hug. They then kiss with their snouts.
"Limberg, here's your wife Bree!"
Bree runs out to Limberg, and they hug each other. The other contestants can see tears forming in Limberg's eyes.
"Wow, I never knew Limberg had so much emotions," Fluttershy comments.
"Angela, here's your boyfriend, Spencer!"
Spencer runs on out to Angela.
"I love you," she tells him.
"I love you too," he replies.
"Now it's time for Anise. Anise, here's your pal Jade Curtiss!"
"Jade!" Anise exclaims, rushing over to greet him. She hugs him tightly.
"Now on to Kasumi. Here's your pal Jacob Taylor!"
Kasumi and Jacob share a warm embrace.
"Fluttershy, here's your friend Rarity!"
Rarity and Fluttershy race to greet each other, then start running around in joy.
"Konata, here's your friend Kagami!"
Kagami rushes over to greet Konata.
"Hmmm… are we supposed to kiss?" Konata asks Kagami.
"Shut up!" Kagami replies, while laughing.
"And finally, for Grune, it's Norma!"
Norma runs over to Grune and hugs her.
"Hey, G-Girl!" Norma says. "You aren't getting in any trouble, are you?"
"Oh, no, not at all," Grune replies.
"All right, everyone is now with their partners, and now we're about to have some fun. For this challenge, it will be a three-legged race. You'll have your legs tied together, and you'll have to hop your way to the finish line. First one to finish wins reward. Wanna know what you're playing for?"
"Yeah!"
"The winner of this challenge will get to eat a nice picnic lunch with their loved one. And you may or may not get to choose some others to join you. Worth playing for?"
"Of course!" Konata exclaims.
"Then let's get to it. We'll draw for spots, and then get started."
The players all line up at the starting line.
"For reward! Survivors ready? Go!"
The contestants, along with their loved ones, take off down the course. Almost immediately, Grune stumbles, bringing Norma down with her.
"Grune takes a tumble!"
Angela and Spencer also go down, while Anise and Jade begin to take a big lead. Kasumi and Jacob begin to catch up. Meanwhile, Grune and Norma take another tumble, and they bring down Limberg and Bree with them.
"Grune really stinking it up!"
Cyrano and Snooty are way too slow to compete in this challenge. Fluttershy and Rarity begin to make a comeback, but it's too late. Anise and Jade start to pull away.
"This looks like an easy win for Anise!"
Fluttershy and Rarity, along with Kasumi and Jacob, desperately try to catch up. But at the end, it is not enough, as Anise and Jade cross the finish line first.
"And that's it! Anise and Jade… win reward!"
Anise jumps into the air, forgetting she's tied to Jade, and the two go tumbling on the ground. Kasumi and Jacob walk up to them and congratulate them.
"Congratulations, Anise. Choose one pair to join you."
"Without a question, Kasumi."
Kasumi walks over to Anise and hugs her.
"How about one more, Anise?"
"Hmmm… I'll go with Grune."
"Okay, Grune and Kasumi, along with their loved ones, will join you, Anise and Jade, for a picnic lunch. The rest of you, I got nothing for you. Say goodbye to your loved ones, and head back to camp."
The other players sadly say goodbye to their loved ones.
"Thanks for visiting," Limberg tells his wife Bree. "Gotta run."
They then leave their loved ones and head on back to camp.
Reward
Anise, Kasumi and Grune, along with their loved ones, enjoy their picnic lunch together. Anise cannot help but talk strategy.
"Us three – we're going to be the Final Three," she states.
"You hear that, G-Girl?" Norma asks. "You're in perfect position!"
"Oh, my," Grune replies. "But what about Fluttershy and Konata?"
"We can't all be in the Final Three," Kasumi states. "We have to make a choice at some point."
"I see," Grune says.
"I don't know if I agree with this plan," Grune says. "I would rather be in the Final Three with Fluttershy and Konata. I'll have to see what I can do about this situation."
Day 30
TJBambi Tribe
Limberg and Cyrano feel hopeless going into the immunity challenge.
"We're going to be the next two voted out," Limberg whines.
"Might as well try to win immunity and hope we can stay in this game," Cyrano states.
"The one of us who doesn't win immunity goes home," Cyrano says. "And if we both lose, then they have easy pickings."
Immunity Challenge
"Come on in, guys!"
The eight players walk into the immunity challenge area.
"You guys ready to get to today's challenge?"
"Yeah!"
"First things first, I will take it back."
Kasumi quickly hands over the Immunity Beads of Subjugation.
"Thank you. Once again, immunity is back up for grabs. For today's challenge, you'll push a buoy along a rope, connected to a bag of puzzle pieces. Once you reach the end of the rope, you'll take off the bag of puzzle pieces, and try to solve a words puzzle. First person to solve the puzzle, wins immunity, safe at tonight's Tribal Council. Losers, Tribal Council, where after 30 days, someone will be voted out of this game and sent to the jury, their chance at winning the million over. I'll give you a minute to strategize, and we'll get started."
The players all get set up at the starting line.
"For immunity! Survivors ready? Go!"
The contestants begin pushing their buoys down their ropes. Kasumi takes the lead, with Fluttershy and Anise following closely behind. Limberg also does a good job with pushing his buoy, while the lumbering Cyrano struggles. Grune keeps on making mistakes.
"Grune, really struggling here!"
Kasumi gets about halfway to the end, with Anise in second. Limberg, Fluttershy and Angela are right behind them. Konata is doing horribly.
"Konata is out of this thing!"
Kasumi reaches the end of the rope first, with Limberg right behind her. Anise also finishes, with Fluttershy and Angela trailing.
"Get to work on that puzzle!"
Kasumi starts working on her puzzle, and Limberg joins her on his. Anise, Fluttershy and Angela also join them in working on their puzzles. Cyrano, Grune and Konata are still on their buoys.
"This is a familiar phrase, that you may have heard said on Survivor before!"
Limberg suddenly thinks he has it figured out. He starts putting together the words.
"Limberg is on to something!"
Limberg puts together the phrase, thinking that it is "YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DIG DEEP." However, he finds that he doesn't have it right, as the letters will not fit.
"Limberg has it wrong!"
Kasumi starts to put it together, and she figures out what it is, putting together the words "YOU ARE GOING TO VOTE OUT SOMEBODY."
"Kasumi thinks she has it – and she does! Kasumi… wins immunity!"
Kasumi begins to celebrate, with Anise hugging her. She then goes over to Jet.
"Congratulations, Kasumi, this is for you."
Jet puts the necklace around Kasumi's neck.
"You are safe tonight. The rest of you, after 30 days, someone's going home. You are going to vote out somebody, and it won't be Kasumi. I'll see you tonight for Tribal."
Kasumi is very happy as the players start walking back to camp.
"I couldn't pull out immunity today, and now it looks hopeless for me," Limberg says.
TJBambi Tribe
Angela lays low in the final hours before Tribal Council, while Limberg and Cyrano go over to Kasumi and Anise, begging to stay around.
"Come on, keep us around instead of Angela, squinky," Limberg says.
"Yeah, we deserve to stay a little longer, not them, ah-CHOO," Cyrano states.
"We'll discuss it and think about it," Anise says.
A little while later, when Limberg and Cyrano are finished begging, Anise and Kasumi talk it out.
"I don't like Limberg," Kasumi says. "I want him gone."
"But Cyrano is physically strong," Anise says. "If there are any strength-based challenges, he could win them."
"Get Limberg out first, then Cyrano," Kasumi states. "Limberg is good at the average challenge."
"I don't know," Anise replies.
"This vote really isn't that important," Anise says. "But I want to have my way! That's just the way it is!"
Tribal Council
The eight players walk into the Tribal Council area with their torches ablaze, then take their seats across from Jet Black.
"We now bring in the members of our jury."
The jury members march into the Tribal Council area.
"Sindel, Blaze, Roy, and voted out last Tribal Council, Peter."
The jury members take their seats, along with the coaches, Ben Tan, Samantha and Raine.
"Anise, your alliance now has total control of this game."
"Of course! And we're going to pick off the non-alliance members one by one," Anise replies.
"Angela, isn't it a little arrogant of Anise to say that?"
"You know what, Jet, Anise and her alliance has outplayed us thus far. She can say whatever she wants," Angela responds.
"Limberg, what can you do in this situation?"
"Win immunity," Limberg replies.
"Which you failed to do today."
"Yeah, and now I find myself in a most unenviable position. Same with my pal Cyrano here. We're in deep trouble."
"Cyrano, you really stunk it up in the last two challenges. Any chance of you winning this game at this point?"
"Never say never, ah-CHOO," Cyrano says. "I'm not giving up yet."
"Well, I know Anise's alliance is safe, so I'm ignoring you guys for a good reason. You guys have nothing to worry about, as I'm not picking on you."
"Oh, Jet, we don't mind you picking on us!" Grune responds.
Jet laughs. "You will mind it if you get voted out! Now, Kasumi, I assume you'll keep that immunity, right?"
"Of course!" Kasumi responds.
"Very well then. You cannot vote for Kasumi. The rest of you, someone's going home. It is time to vote; Angela, you're up first."
The new Tribal Council music plays as the players go to vote.
Angela goes to vote.
Anise goes to vote.
Cyrano goes to vote.
Fluttershy goes to vote.
Grune goes to vote.
Kasumi goes to vote.
Konata goes to vote.
Limberg goes to vote.
"I'll go tally the votes."
Jet gathers the votes, then returns to the players.
"Once the votes are read, the decision is final, and the player voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes."
Jet pulls out the first vote.
"First vote – Angela."
Angela looks upset.
"Limberg."
Limberg shakes his head angrily.
"Angela."
Angela looks on sadly.
"Limberg."
Limberg suddenly realizes his fate.
"Limberg."
Limberg starts to get up from his seat.
"Limberg."
Cyrano pats Limberg on the back, as Limberg gets ready to leave.
"Eleventh player voted out of Survivor: Tropical Jungle, Limberg."
Limberg frustratedly grabs his torch, then brings it over to Jet.
"Limberg, the tribe has spoken."
Jet snuffs out Limberg's torch.
"It's time for you to go."
Limberg walks out in a huff.
"Pretty straightforward vote tonight. Anise's alliance is in total control. Grab your torches, head back to camp, good night."
The players head on out of the Tribal Council area.
"Frustrating finish for me, squinky," Limberg says. "If I had just been able to pull out that immunity win, I'd still be around. Sadly I lost, and now I'm out. I don't think Cyrano or Angela has even the slightest chance at this point."

"Oh, my, maybe I should finally use some strategy," Grune says.
