Eren walked cautiously through the maze of boxes, Armin not far behind. They slowed their pace as they rounded each corner, approaching a faint voice. The voice was deep but shaky but too far away to hear. 'There haven't been any guards so far… are they that confident we won't catch them?' Eren thought. The voice grew louder, screaming throughout the building. He was yelling at someone. "Are you an idiot?! They could be here at any minute, we have to keep moving! We're already one man down and handing her over is the top priority." "Yes sir." Another voice responded.

Footsteps grew louder towards Eren and Armin as the man passed by. They slid between two large piles of boxes and watched him pass. Eren caught a glimpse of the shot gun the man was holding. He must have gone to guard while the others prepare to take Historia to a new location. They were very well expecting them to show up. Eren peered from the isle after he could no longer hear the man's footsteps and moved out of the tiny space. "Maybe she's nearby, that man seems like a person in charge." Eren whispered. "Maybe. Just keep going, she'll be moved before anything can get done here."

They turned around the corner and pursued down the isle the two men were previously talking in. Stopping at the next turn, Eren looked down the way first. Little blond hairs were streaming down the back of the chair, the small girl sat hands and feet bound to the wood. "Found her." Eren whispered back to Armin. It seemed to be the rest of the men went to guard the outside, unknowingly of them already in the building. Still, Historia was guarded by two men, nearly double the size of the one man Eren and Armin previously saw. They both tugged on the handles of their swords, preparing to fight. With a confirmation nod between one another, they drew their swords and sprinted around the corner towards the men. Stop. Blood pumping and adrenaline racing, everything fell silent. Eren and Armin sheathed their swords once more. They watched the two men fall victim to Mikasa's hand before they could even reach Historia. Repeated blows taken to the head or any open place they left for Mikasa to take. One fell, then the other. Mikasa took a deep breath before relaxing her shoulders and walked towards Historia, Sasha trotting behind her and moping that she didn't get to do anything.

Eren was about to join them when he noticed something about Historia. She seemed a bit flustered the moment her gaze fell onto Mikasa, scared even. Historia kept making a muffled noise trying to say something, though her mouth was bound as well. Even so, Mikasa didn't bother to untie her mouth at first as if she wanted it to stay bound or she didn't want those words to escape.

Eren held Armin back in his place making it so they wouldn't move from that spot. He wanted to watch and listen, because he knew something was wrong from the very start of this mission, and he wanted to find out what that was.

Sasha slowly moved around the chair to untie the cloth that wrapped Historia's mouth while Mikasa squatted and untied her feet. The moment she could feel the fresh air touch her lips, Historia said those very words that had been so tightly locked with a screaming voice of true terror. "Mikasa! You shouldn't be here, it's too dangerous in your condition! I saw it happen, Mikasa! I watched that man stab you. You need help immediately!" she exploded.

Eren stepped back from his spot. One step away from the truth. One step away after finding what had been done. And then one step toward facing it. He approached Mikasa slowly, trying not to let his rage be shown in his expression. Armin followed him, overhearing just as much as Eren did. All three of the girls turned their heads as they approached them. Eren stopped right in front of Mikasa and kneeled to be face-to-face with her. She refused to make eye contact with him and instead stared at the floor with dead eyes that shimmered with the light which then left her pupils. She knew Eren heard it all, Historia's voice was loud enough to broadcast the entire warehouse. She slumped the rest of the way to the ground and sat on the hard rock floors. There was no hiding it anymore, though she would have given out herself anyway if she had gone on any longer. This way was no better than passing out from blood loss. She gave in.

Mikasa crossed her legs in front of her and lifted her shirt, revealing the blood-soaked bandages she had been hiding, confirming what Historia had said. As if her pale face and lack of energy weren't giving anything away, the hard evidence was right in front of them. Mikasa kept her gaze on the ground avoiding all the others and put her shirt back down. "Sorry, it was my fault in the first place. Staying behind just wasn't an option for me." She felt a hand lift her chin as her eyes met Eren's. "We are all with you. Remember that." He moves his hand away from her chin and offers it to help her stand. She accepts the gesture and is lifted back to her feet. "Okay, now that it's all clean with you lovebirds, we should get going." Sasha teased beginning their expedition back. Looking back, she noticed their deadly glares towards her and quickly looked in front of her again. The escape plan was simple, find any exit as quickly as possible or take over the warehouses men. With a lot of luck, they can escape easily without any interferences. However, their numbers are unknown but considering the amount of carriages outside of the building, there shouldn't be many left. The small group moves with caution to escape through the same way Eren and Armin entered. Chances are it's on guard by now, so getting out won't be anywhere near calm. Not to mention any other guards that may be patrolling randomly through the box labyrinth. This would be a tight save, but also not too hard considering experiences between the two at battle here. Getting out is all that's left to do.

Sorry it took so long to update. As an apology I'll make the next chapter and post it extra early this time.
