Keigo inhaled a sharp breath as someone touched his shoulder. He jerked away and aimed his firearm at the intruder. Sighing in relief to only see it was Yumichika, Keigo frowned. "I almost killed you, Yumi. Be more careful next time. I could have blown your brains out." The brunette said sliding down the wall his was leaning against. He patted the spot next to him and watched his friend take up the empty space.
Yumichika sniffled and frowned deeply. "Sorry, I got scared….. Ikkaku and I had separated a while back to look for everyone else. I came here since I knew you exact position but I haven't heard from him since we left each other." The raven said gravely as he ran his fingers across the ground. Yumi ran a hand through his hair. The strands thinner than they were when all of this first started. His hair no longer wore the shine and glamour the raven had always boated about. It looked worn, greasy, and about to fall out at any given second. "It's been almost an hour since I felt anyone near me at all… Except for the enemy. Keigo, I don't know how much longer I can last. I was never meant to live this life." Yumichika said his breath light and shaky as he tried to take in air. His hands trembling as he rested them on his pistol.
Keigo wrapped his arms around the raven haired man bringing him into a hug. The brunette ran his hands through the other's hair as sighed. "I know, Yumi. We have to survive. Ikkaku is out there looking for the others and he'll find us as well. Just keep moving with me, we might be able to find one of the others." He said standing and bringing Yumichika up with him. Keigo tried to give his friend the best smile he could muster which wasn't much. He doesn't know when the last time he has slept more than an hour. He has been on the run for so long everything just blended together. "Now let's get go-" His words were cut off by gun shots followed by a familiar piercing female scream. His eyes widened as he looked at Yumichika for conformation of what he just heard. "Was that?" He said his voice cracking slightly.
Yumichika nodded slowly. "Rangiku." He whispered.
The two took off in a sprint towards the sounds as they died out. A few later they arrived at the scene, only to find the bloody body of their female friend. Tears built up in Keigo's eyes as he knelt next to the woman's body. He reached out towards her neck to check for a pulse knowing it was useless. Rangiku's warm skin contrasted to the cold sweat Keigo felt on his own skin as he let out a whimper. "Rangiku…. This wasn't supposed to happen… Not to you…" The brunette grits his teeth together as he offered a silent prayer for his deceased friend.
Yumichika panted heavily as he held his head in-between his hands. His eyes lost their focus as he stared at Rangiku's body. A crazed chuckle escaped his mouth making Keigo's head swerve in his direction. "We can't win….. They'll kill us all…. One by one…. Death everywhere…." He said backing away slowly from the scene in front of him. The raven reached for his weapon. "I rather end this now before they get me! Then I'll beat them, I won't them have the satisfaction of killing me first!" He laughed hysterically as he pulled his gun out its holster and slowly raised it to his head. "Bye bye Kei! I'll see you on the other side." He grinned slowly before his eyes rolled into the back of his head and he fell to the ground in a heap of limbs. Yumichika's chest slowly rose and fell in his unconscious state giving Keigo relief that he was alive.
"That was very melodramatic." Nnoitra said sighing before looking at Keigo. His eyes fell on Rangiku's body and grew dark. He tall man bent down and picked up Yumichika. He tossed the man on his shoulder before approaching the brunette. "Get up, we're moving again. I'm glad I found you guys, but not like this." He said solemnly as he bent down to retrieve Rangiku's body as well carrying her like a baby cradled in his arms. He watched as Keigo shakily stood to his feet.
Together the two walked away from the area, they ducked behind a crumbled build tall enough to hide Nnoitra's tall figure. The sat along the wall after Nnoitra placed Rangiku into Keigo's arms and leaning Yumichika against the same wall next to him.
"Where are we going?" Keigo said running his fingers through the dead woman's hair.
Nnoitra grumble before sighing. "We're finding her a nice burial spot before we continue on. Maybe a nice field, or by her favorite spot, or we'll just throw her into a river and carry on." He said bursting into laugher as he heard a raged shriek.
"You asshole! You're going to throw me in a river?!" Keigo heard Rangiku shriek through his earphones. He looked at Yumichika and sighed. He took the earphones out as the busty woman continued to yell at the laughing Nnoitra. He got up from his seat and stretched lazily. After waking that morning, they all decided to go back home and freshen up for their shopping trip. That was before Kenpachi left a bored Nnoitra alone and the tall man decided to call everyone else to play an online game together. "Come on, it'll be fun. We'll waste these nerds and control them like the losers they are." Keigo mocked Nnoitra's words from earlier. It was quite the opposite since none of them ever played the game before, Nnoitra being the person he is decided to pick a fight which led to all their characters getting slayed multiple times. Keigo chuckled quietly as Ikkaku and Yumichika laugh at the fight still going on. "It had been a little fun for a while." He said shaking his head.
Yumichika took his headphones off and smiled at Keigo. "Come on, I think the girls are ready to go shopping now. Though… We might have to drag Rangiku out of her house if she's still yelling at Nnoi." He said skipping past the brunette who chuckled in response. "Maybe we'll see your blue kitty there as well." Yumi sang as he shut the door to his bedroom to change.
"He's not a kitten!" Keigo said with exasperation as he sulked before walking towards his own bedroom.
Ikkaku cackled walking down the hallway. "He didn't deny he was yours though." He said slinking off into his shared room with Yumichika narrowly missing the book launched at his head.
A/N: I know… I know… Long time loooooooooooooooooooooooooong time! But I have no excuses. I'm a lazy bum who works which makes me sooooooo lazy. I know it's not the shopping trip as I said but I thought I would give you guys a chapter. And what's better than a broken psychotic Yumi and Nnoi being him. I love Nnoitra…..
