Practical Magic

Emily pat the soil down around the charm. The old woman had assured her that her spells worked. Burying the poppet in the greenhouse Sam made especially for her made the spell more potent. Emily didn't believe in the elders old ways, but she was desperate. The idea that Sam loved her because of some supernatural wolfy voo-doo bugged the hell out of her.
