Chapter eleven

The next twenty days passed by quickly, especially when you had live entertainment like Em and Rose in the house. Rose still found her round belly and milk filled breasts more of a turn on than Em's body but whenever Em munched on Snickers or anything else that would in the end make him fat, Rose was on him and they have their way with each other. It was very amusing to watch sometimes but since Bella knew the reason for Em's feasting, she sometimes had to hold the vomit down as she watched him head upstairs.

Two days before Carlisle and Edward would return home to Forks, the house was finished. The painters had done a good job under Alice and Esme's watchful eyes and when Bella wasn't home, they had had all of Edward and Bella's furniture brought to the house.

"When did you do this?" Bella asked as she entered the house, finding Alice and Esme pushing two chairs in place on side of the fireplace, Rose lounging on the couch opposite of them.

"This morning when you went to the store," Alice chippered as she pushed the chair in front of her so it was standing in an angle towards the fireplace.

"Why?" Bella slumped down next to Rose on the couch.

"Well, because we wanted to," they shrugged and Bella blinked as she felt tears gather in her eyes.

"Oh Bella," Rose cooed, wrapping her arms around Bella as the tears slipped from her eyes.

"Is something wrong?" Esme asked as she and Alice kneeled in front of Bella.

"No, it's just that I've been dreading this, decorating the house without Edward, and I've been putting it off as long as I could and now you've done it for me," she sobbed, unable to stop herself.

"Oh honey," Esme laughed, bringing her in for a warm hug.

For the next hours, Bella and Rose watched Alice and Esme arranging everything as the two pregnant ones ate cookies.

"Finished!" Alice announced suddenly and Bella, who had fallen asleep with her head resting on Rose's lap, jumped to her feet, the cookies threatening to make an appearance and she dashed for the bathroom.

After rinsing her mouth, Bella let them tour her through the house. She was stunned to say at least, every room furniture and ready to be lived in, all but one; the nursery.

"We wanted to do this one as well, but it's not ours to touch," Alice explained as Bella peeked inside to see all the walls still white and floor covered in plastic sheets.

"I think Edward would want to be the one to paint it as well," Esme explained.

"Yeah, I think you're right," Bella mumbled as she pictured Edward shirtless and painting the room, his muscles moving with every stroke against the wall.

He couldn't get home fast enough.

Bella couldn't take her eyes of the board as she waited. The plane Edward was one had landed and according to the board, they were picking up their baggage. Esme was standing with the rest of the family a few feet away, talking happily together as they waited for the brother and father but Bella couldn't talk with them; her mouth was dry and her stomach full of butterflies.

The gate opened and Bella couldn't hold back the smile as she watched people coming out, her eyes scanning for a reddish and messy head of hair, but it never showed as the people thinned out.

"Bella," she turned to the sound of Esme's voice. "They missed the plane because of an emergency and they will try to get tickets for one tomorrow or the day after," Esme explained as she guided Bella out of the airport and back to the car.

Everyone was talking on the way home, but Bella just stared out of the window; she had expected to be in Edward's arms by now, his lips against her skin.

At home that night, she didn't bother to turn on the light as she entered it and made her way to their bedroom and their bed. She stripped down and crawled under the covers and she was asleep before her head could hit the pillow.

The next morning Bella woke up with her cheek plastered to her moist pillow, her tears and a little drool mixed together. Her head was heavy with sleep and she didn't bother to look at herself in the mirror, knowing fully well that she had dark rings of shadow underneath her eyes and that no amount of makeup could cover them up.

She knew that it was before seven because her alarm hadn't gone off yet, but she couldn't stay any longer in bed, restless and anxious about the whereabouts of Edward. Throwing her legs over the edge of the bed, she pushed herself from the soft bed and made her way to the shower where she stood for what seemed like hours, letting the warm water fall over like rain as she imagined Edward in there with her, just like the shower they had had together before everything happened.

When the water started to turn cold, Bella turned it off and wrapped herself up in a fluffy robe before entering the bedroom again, grey sun light filtering through the clouds and onto Edward's side of the bed.

A click brought her out of her own thoughts and she stood perfectly still as she listened to any following sounds from downstairs. When nothing came, Bella let the robe fall to the floor and found fresh underwear, one of Edward's sweaters and some sweats, laying it all out on the bed before she found her body lotion and started apply it to her legs, over her stomach, chest and arms.

With her back to the door, she didn't see it being opened and when she felt a pair of cold hands on her hips, she screamed bloody murder and spun around to face the intruder.

"Missed me?" she shrieked in surprise and threw her arms around Edward's neck, hugging him tightly to her naked body.

"Of course I've missed you," she said into his neck as she started kiss it, nibbling on his skin now and then and earning soft rumbling moans from his chest. "You're not leaving this house again before I'm finished with you," she growled against his lips.

"Don't worry, I have no intention of leaving you any time soon," their mouths worked against each other hungrily. Gently, he lowered her down on the bed.

"You have too much clothes on," Bella complained and in a swift movement, she had ripped his shirt half way of his body and she was delighted to see that he had nothing underneath it. Quickly, he helped her undress him until all he had left on were his boxers.

He lowered himself over, kissing every inch of her body, starting at her mouth and working his way down to her neck, collarbone and over her breasts. Bella laid there perfectly still as she felt his lips against her skin but when he stopped, she pushed herself off the mattress so she was leaning on her arms and looked down at Edward.

He was staring down on her stomach with wide eyes.

"Is there something you want to tell me, Bella?" he asked, his voice unreadable.

"Well, yeah, since you brought it up," she murmured, biting her lip, "I'm pregnant."

"Bella," he moved to sit back but Bella wasn't having that.

"I know, we have to talk about it, but right now I want to feel you on me and in me," she pulled him towards her so he was covering her body once again. "I've been taking care of myself the past two months and whenever I've been thinking about you, which have been often, I've left your mom or sisters so I can take care of it, but it's not doing it for me anymore. Fuck me now or I have to find someone else." She stared him dead in the eyes.

"I'm not gonna fuck you," he said and Bella groaned but he silenced her with a kiss, "I'm gonna make love you."
