A few days later:

"Ow...come on! We're better now, so it's not fair for you to just leave us here!" Michelangelo whined to his eldest brother, who rolled his eyes in annoyance, at his youngster's pleas. It has been a few days since the said brother including his other two brothers and their much closer sisters, plus Yoshi awoke from their states, much to mistress Shen's and their oldest sister's surprise. As the doctor informed them, their recovery should take a quite time, plus they should be drowsy first, before they could regain their fluent completely.

It indeed was a relief-full miracle, in front of two teenage and middle aged women's eyes. They, including the doctor himself, thought that their strength and UN-willingness to give up might have helped them to their recovery greatly, but unknown to them, their own physical strength had got a little push from a legendary power...

Mistress Shen along with Scarlette, DID suspected their future, young leader to be responsible for this situation, the moment the said doctor stated the word, 'miracle', to express his surprise. But they were wise enough to not to go demanding for answers from the raven-haired teenager. Plus, they could understand his concern either way.

Young leader's self-blame was something, which isn't that much of a secret to the Hamato clan. So the two could understand the hard look, which rested upon the teen's features, at the moment they watched over the younger teens. Anyone, who would care for their family more than anything, would do the same anyway.

After the hard days of taking care of the recovering teens, and yet to wake up teens, master Yoshi said that he might want to go and check the improvement of his, destructed training room. Yes, he had ordered some workers to repair the building, so they might use it again. This day was a holiday to said workers, so in Yoshi's opinion the day was perfect to see the improvement.

So, to his aid he might use, master Yoshi asked his two eldest children to accompany him. Three wanted to go to this particular place, not mentioning anything to other awoken teens, other than mistress Shen. But of course, it was super hard to hide something from teenagers these present days...

Michelangelo and Kathlene gave their best cute puppy eyes at the older ones, which effort didn't went unnoticed of course. A sigh escaped master Yoshi's lips as he finally gave in to his youngest teens.

"Alright. You may accompany us. But remember to be at high guard, since we would not be pleased with yet another surprised ambush." The aged master finished, as cheers arose from the the six teens. Just as expected. "Plus, you have to be extra careful, since of you current condition!" The raven-haired teen added, interrupting the little party which arose within his siblings.

'Great!'. The teen thought, crossing his arms over his chest; with a mental groan, which the teenager could avoid from escaping from his lips, with a considerable effort. 'Just what I needed!'. The last thing the said teen wanted now was to even have his siblings around the same place, which was possibly unstable, or might have the possibility to be hunted by yet another set of foot soldiers. A shiver ran down the teen's spine as the flashes of his latest vision swam across his sight, seeming to be taunting him about the possibility the teen had, to get killed not only himself- but his family from this particular, not so-strange threat. 'Or maybe another threat, dangerous than foot.'

The creature, who's appearance was slightly invisible by the engulfed darkness at the time, but yet visible enough to prove to be a major threat, did no good to the teen's growing concern. If they were to be attacked by one of those, or maybe more foes who they have yet to encounter; with all the injuries lining their bodies would only drag the said teen's siblings down to negative results. 'Only drag US down.' Leonardo thought bitterly reminding himself that he- himself, won't be able to fight in ease, knowing that his siblings could have their lives at risk at any time, if such a situation arose.

Don't get him wrong, he loved his siblings. Heck, even than his own life. But the 18 year old was failing miserably to reassure himself, with this annoying gut feeling instructing him that, this day wasn't about to end as they have planned...

Leonardo's siblings turned to him, giving fake pouts as the younger blonde spoke up. "Come on Leo! Take a chill pill!" The 14 year old wasn't about to underestimate his older brother's concern, to a normal level. Every teen knew the reason behind his constant over-protectiveness over them was occurred from a hidden reason, arose from the teen's dark memories, which were made from a certain incident the teen was forced to endure when he was, but 8 in Japan.

It really was a good act, which had every child in the orphanage bound to the strong faith on the teen to protect them, whatever happened. But his paranoid acts can be annoying at times, indeed.

The young leader snorted a little, casting his glance away to prevent the possibility of disappointing his siblings. 'Oh how I would love to little brother.' He thought as yet another quite sigh escaped his dried lips, thankfully unnoticed by his adopted family surrounding him.

The teenager still wasn't making any considerable progress in chasing away the annoying whispers in the back of his mind, warning the teenager about something unexpected happening in the Hamato clan members' destination. Of course, the 18 year old could just warn master Yoshi and have the time for visit, shifted to another day. Possibly when the crazy alarm of his, stopped pounding in the back of the raven-haired teen's skull.

It wouldn't be much of a difficult task though. Master Yoshi and mistress Shen were, never to let an instinct go unnoticed. Plus, the 18 year old was positive about the possibility of having complains from his adopted siblings would be minor too. Because of the strong lessons the teens had learned about, never dare ignoring a future warning from the young leader, the possibility of complains would be of an amount of unconcern indeed. Specially, since the whole orphanage trusted the warnings, specially from someone like, Leonardo, mistress Shen or master Yoshi, who's meditation sessions always stretched up for hours.

But, the reason of which the young leader considered about abandoning the announcement of warning, didn't just ended upon the disappointment looks, which would surely rest upon his adopted family's features, when they would be forced to give up the chance of visiting their repairing training room. No. But the excuse stretched upon to point of where his instinct, insisted him strongly that the raven-haired teen would be truly revealed after, whatever that would happen to them at their destination.

"Leo is right you know." The long lost teenager was quickly snapped from his sea of thoughts, after the second eldest teen among them awakened her voice, only to take sides with the eldest teen.

Wasn't he dazing out from time to time? The 18 year old gave out a mental groan. Great! If they truly would be engaging in real battle at the time, he was not only putting his own guard down, but his family's safety by zoning out like this. A barely noticeable scoff left the teen's lips, which was undoubtedly coat with sarcasm. Another good reason to of which Raphael gave him the nickname. 'Paranoid!'

The teenager quickly re-focused his split attention, as the father-figure of the teens spoke up. "Indeed he is." Seems like he was agreeing with the raven-haired teen after all.

"Our injuries might be quick to heal, but we must not forget that, in order to receive the complete progress, we must be patient. Maintaining awareness at all the time will truly prove to be handful." The aged master offered his infamous words of wisdom. "Don't worry sensai." Violete said reassuringly, as the other five teens nodded in agreement. "I mean we have learned nijitzu by heart. Even we aren't strong enough at the time, Leo and Scarley can aid us right?" The last question was directed at the two eldest teens, as the younger teenagers attention also directed at them. The two teenagers smiled softly at the faith their younger sibling had build upon them, as two quick nods replied the question.

'On that, you are more than right little sister.'

The 14 year old blonde in the team, deciding to ease the concern gathered upon the older ones hearts, spoke up as well. "Besides, what can possibly go wrong?". Well, not a much of an aid after all.

'You had to say; didn't you?' The raven haired teen thought, with a shake of his head. It WAS slightly dramatic; but whenever any of the teens mentioned the phrase, something would mostly go wrong. Might be rude to mention, but the truth can not be denied. Plus, from the looks the other teens giving to the younger blonde, -who appeared to be shrinking slightly as his pale hands rested upon his mouth covering it, regretting saying the statement at all, as his siblings glares fixed upon him self-, the eldest teen confirmed to himself that the same thought had occurred to them too.

"Heh heh...Sorry!" Michelangelo apologized sheepishly, as the glares melted replacing with annoying glances, as the said teens shook their heads, face palming themselves.

"Plus, who knows; I might be able to add some new pics to my newly formed 'Cute pics'." Kathlene stated breaking the small contest of, 'glare at Michelangelo', as she gestured her cell phone, which had a shape of a turtle shell, safely tucked away in her pocket. No one knew why did the geniuses Donatello and April decided to give a shape of a turtle shell to the cell phones, which the two of them specially made for the small team of eight. But when the cell phones had been given to their owners, why the Michelangelo and Kathlene decided that, 'T-phone' was cool name for the phones was reason which went quite understandable.

The smirks were decided to make their way to wards the two eldest teens, who's cheeks brighten with an unusual color of scarlet. 'They just can't let it go; can they?'

Scarlette took pity upon herself for always being caught in the middle of teasing like these, in to which the raven-haired teen himself was bounded. 'Why does this always happen to me?' She asked her self as a memory resurfaced on the day which quickly followed by the day of her arrival to the orphanage, when she had been teased about having a crush on the raven-haired teen; when she asked for permission to hangout with the said teenager. Oddly enough, she could recall numerous incidents like that, as if the occasions had taken place yesterday. Including the one little episode happened last night...

'Is it even possible for me to have a crush on him?' The question was left unanswered as she drown in her thoughts to find one. The more she thought about it, the more color of red decided to gather it-self upon her cheeks. The sapphire-blue eyed teen shook her head dismissing the thoughts as a pout made it's way out of her lips, deciding to rest upon her lips would be a better idea. 'He's my older brother in a way! It's possible to have incidents like that happening between siblings right?' Again a question, which was impossible for her to answer.

The 17 year old cast her glance away, mimicking the features of a stubborn kindergarten child, who had been caught right in middle when stealing cookies from the cookie jar; and was refusing to admit the wrong deed.

Master Yoshi watched the exchange between his adopted children, with a raised eye-ridge; failing to catch the meaning hidden behind the blushing teens, smirks nor the teasing sentence. 'I indeed had missed something.' The ninjitzu master thought, further eyeing the interesting episode taking place, right in front his eyes.

Flash back: Last night...

Michelangelo squinted his eyes, to blink away the sleepiness; as a yawn forced itself out of his lips. The younger blonde sat up slowly on the bed, placed in the infirmity, as the flashes of the dream he had minutes ago came back to him in a rush. A faint pout ended upon his lips. If one were to ask, whether it's a nightmare or a normal dream from the teen himself, they would surely ended from the answer, a nightmare.

Even if it sounded like the most ridiculous thing in the universe to his family; the younger blonde won't change his opinion on the dream. 'They won't understand my pain, if I were to live without pizza!' The teen thought, faintly wondering what time it was. From the soothing lullaby of the steady breaths of his siblings sleeping nearby and from the sight of the pitch black night sky glaring right back at him through the slightly opened curtains of the infirmity windows, the 14 year old confirmed to himself that it was still night time.

It was truly odd for someone like himself to be awake in such a time, but when it came to nightmare cases, the odds won't last. 'Again, they won't understand my pain!' another pout erupted from the teen's pale lips as the 'nightmare', played itself again in his head.

From a very unique contest held in the city, which upon the younger blonde won easily; the prize had been give as uncountable number of pizzas! No one in the globe would have finished such of an amount. Leave it to Michelangelo to deal with such problems. After he had finished the whole pile, all the while keeping track at the number; the blonde teen was met with disappointment when he found out that he- himself wasn't the only one who had enjoyed the prize.

His second eldest brother was there, in HIS dream; but not only that the intruder had enjoyed HIS prize, after not offering at least a little help to win the contest! The contest was...

The teen was enveloped in his thought for a tiniest bit. 'What WAS the contest?' The sky-blue eyed teenager shrugged, dismissing the useless attempt to remember about the contest which was surely a blur to the young teenager, throughout his dream. His whole focus was only aimed at the prize, so why bother trying to remember the contest?

Though it was pretty much dark at the time, the young ninja knew exactly of where his siblings bodies would be resting, as a result of seeing them earlier when he woke up from his state.

His sky-blue eyes went along to a bed in which upon his second eldest brother could be seen resting. The oxygen masks which could be seen resting upon their faces was removed few days ago, as a result of the teens slowly adapting to breathe normal again. Oddly enough, this miracle recovery happened to the six teens almost at once, when their other siblings were still unconscious.

'I would have my revenge later!'. Michelangelo thought as a little smirk stretched upon his lips. The younger blonde again started his search as he darted his eyes back and forth between his siblings, until sleep would finally decided to settle in, in his mind. So, just as the 14 year old decided to go back to his dream world to win another prize, from another contest; his sky-blue eyes caught something unexpected at the corner of the infirmity, where a couch was placed as a waiting seat.

Soon a smirk could be seen stretching up on his lips again, as a little chuckle decided to escape from his lips as a symbol of something humorous catching his attention. 'Ow...they look sooo cute!' The teenager thought.

Indeed, there on the couch sleeping soundly were his oldest siblings. But the cutest part of the occasion; the two were sleeping cuddled up, covered by a pair of blankets. The chests of the two were rising and falling gently under the soft fabric.

Scarlette's head was resting against the raven-haired teen's chest, as the said 18 year old's hand rested upon her shoulder. That really was a cute sight, which shouldn't be missed! 'Others should definitely see this!' The teen decided as he pushed himself up from the comfy warmth of the cot making his way towards his sleeping siblings, passing an empty cot on the way.

The teen stopped his journey for a moment a state of confusion rising in his features as he went through his thoughts trying to find the person he last saw resting in now empty cot. The blonde started his walk again as a thought arise in his mind confirmed that the empty cot wasn't something to concern about.

'It was master Yoshi's cot, nothing to worry about.' The teen thought with a shrug as he re-started his voyage towards his siblings.

After a few days he had regained consciousness, master Yoshi had insisted to go back to his own room to rest, as he had a massive amount of paperwork waiting for the said ninjitzu master to get on with. Lucky for the fifty year old, since his wife had already finished a considerable amount from the works leaving Yoshi with a handful amount to finish. Oh, how Yoshi felt dearly comforted for having such a supportive wife around.

After a considerable amount of effort to wake his siblings up -which truly proved to be a challenge and left the blonde teen wondering what his oldest must have felt in every single morning- the 14 year old gathered his siblings around the couch cautiously. The moment their eyes met with the pair sleeping in the couch peacefully, the groaning and complaining teen's urge to sleep instantly vanished. Michelangelo caste his gaze towards his siblings gathered nearby, his voice coming out in a hushed tone.

"See I told you it's too adorable to miss!" He said as smirks gathered upon the teen's lips.

"For once Mikey, you ARE right in something! Man, did that stupid gas did something to your brain?" Raphael asked teasingly, his gaze finding the scene in front him to be truly adorable to tear it's way away from it. Once his youngest brother had awoken him, abruptly stopping him in the way of smashing a foot's skull; all the spiky haired teen wanted was to replace the missed foot with his annoying little brother. But as the said blonde confirmed that he had a very adorable thing to show them, that would truly worth his time of smashing another foot's skull; Raphael had practically dragged himself from the cot knowing that his sibling won't leave him alone to go back to sleep.

Also he didn't forgot to swear to merciful gods up there that there won't be anyone in this whole universe to save the blonde's life, if this so called 'adorable scene' was yet another bunch of stray kittens sleeping peacefully in the streets for the night.

But now did the 16 year old really thought about it; seeing their fearless leader cuddled-sleeping with their oldest sister; truly was a cute scene to never to be missed, even though the teen had never admired anything, 'cute'.

Kathlene took her t-phone from the rack in the dark infirmity, before making her back to the half-circle. It really was a wonder of why hadn't the said raven-haired who would always be in guard; woken up still. Maybe for once he had decided that his siblings would truly be fine and had decided to lower the guard a little, entrusting his siblings.

Now Kathlene felt a pang of guilt gathering it-self in her stomach; for the deed she's about to do. She quickly shooed the feelings away. It wasn't like that she was about to shoot or strike her oldest sibling in sleep. If she had ever cared about listening to the things that master Yoshi and mistress Shen always so eagerly wanted to teach them; a major thing the younger teenager had learned was about honor.

It was the first lesson of ninjitzu, their sensai had taught them. Fight with honor. She wasn't about to go against that rule. Plus, she would never want to even consider killing their loving older brother anyway.

The things happened up to this very moment was tension filled to the Hamato family, who had been constant victims of their sensai's most hated enemy's attacks. Plus, with that very mysterious episode took place in that restaurant...

The light-brown haired teen-girl, shook her head not very pleased about pulling back confusing puzzles to her thoughts, as she clicked an icon stated as 'camera', on the screen of her phone.

This moment was to add some fun to their lives. It didn't wanted a genius to understand the fact that, this very things happened to their clan was merely would be nothing in front of the obstacles their fate must have treasured to just to throw at them. Every little moment of hilarious was ought to be treasured.

"Smile!" She whispered adjusting the little gadget in her hand for a good shot, before clicking the white circle at a corner of the screen to snap the picture. A flash of light erupted from the tiny camera successfully awakening the two eldest teens.

Startled by the sudden light flashed in to his face, Leonardo jolt awoke; at the same time awakening the girl sleeping peacefully by his side.

He groaned a little adjusting his eyes to the room which was lit by the single bed lamp light at a nearby night stand. The first thing filled his vision gave almost a heart attack to teenager. His siblings were gnawing at his visions like hungry wolves watching their prey's last seconds upon the Earth.

'Why do I get a VERY wrong feeling about this?'

"Can you tell me, WHY exactly you're looking at us like this?" Scarlette voiced his question which only fueled the smirks upon the younger teens' lips to broaden. His ocean-blue suddenly caught the glimpse of Kathlene's T-phone still clutched between her pale fingers, which immediately pieced up the puzzle in his head. 'Oh don't tell me they just-'

"Isn't this picture the most adorable one ever?" Kathlene said showing her phone to the two eldest teens. Upon the screen was a frozen picture of the said two teenagers, sleeping peacefully cuddled up.

'-took a picture while we're asleep.' The raven haired teenager shook his head, a small smile twitched his lips playfully; as the said teenager found the moment of amazing cuteness of his siblings' to be amusing. Leonardo was used to sleep like this most often when he was much younger, when he was still in Japan...

Raven haired teen dismissed the thoughts away before they could pierce a permanent scar of attention to the memory in his heart, as chuckles -almost sounded like hushed laughter- reached his ears. He lifted his head a little only to see his siblings giggling over a flushed sapphire-blue eyed teenage girl. The said teenager was pouting with her head turned away from the laughing teens as her cheeks reddened, surfacing a thought of ripe tomatoes in his mind.

Leonardo couldn't help but a quite chuckle of his own escaped, grabbing attention from the other teens. Scarlette turned to him her pout never felling as she demanded for excuses. "For what are YOU laughing at? You're in the picture too you know!" She said as the 18 year old held up his hands in defense reasoning to the light-brown haired teen.

"I know I know! Just let the youngsters have a little fun. Besides the picture IS kinda cute." The moment he said the last sentence a wave of giggles arose from the younger teenagers, as the cheeks of the blushing teen reddened more.

"What? What do you mean, it's cute! You do know they have the possibility to even black mail us, don't you?" Even though the words were meant to be aggressive, the 17 year old couldn't resist the small smile stretched upon her lips.

"Dudette, that's a great idea!" Michelangelo said mimicking the features of an excited teen as the others shook their heads in amusement. The blames which they were expecting to be directed to them was now directed at their oldest brother, all in one wrong move. They didn't regretted it anyway. Their oldest brother's features were slightly tension filled in earlier days. Seeing him relax like this and have a little fun with them was truly a revealed sight indeed.

"You're smiling too! Admit it, you think the pic is cute too!" April asked surely not missing the small smile of amusement stretching upon her lips, despite the said teenager's attempts to hide it from anyone that doesn't want to see it. Seems like nothing goes unnoticed by the young female observer at all.

"What? I'm trying to be mad at you guys! Don't make me laugh, and ruin my effort!" The sentence was cracked a bit by the giggles that forced it's way from the 17 year old, which resulted of arising a wave of hushed laughter from the teenagers. Even at this moment, no one had yet forced to forget about the still unconscious siblings of them. Even the moment was treasures to the young teenagers, the pain of seeing their other siblings still at lifeless forms was still there. No one would deny that...

But just as mentioned before in countless times, the moment was to ease the tension a little and have a little fun!

A few moments of comfortable silence passed after which Kathlene decided to get back upon the subject. "You know, this picture does worth a space in my Fb account! Who wants a copy?"

Excited voices replied quickly than expected demanding for a copy almost at the same time.

"I do!"

"Me Me!"

"Count me in!"

"I don't see any reasons to refuse!"

"You wouldn't dare leave me out!"

Among the replies an unexpected voice also ordered a said copy, much to the annoyance of a certain 17 year old. "I would want one too!" Leonardo said with a smirk as the others chuckled.

Scarlette glared giving away the playfulness in it purposely. "What? Don't tell me you don't want one too!" Leonardo said his smirk never felling as the 17 year old groaned in what was meant to be annoyance. "Fine! I want one too!"

Kathlene nodded like an experienced businessman -urgh...a businesswoman- as she pretend to be writing down the demands. "Alright! Alright! One picture would be five bucks!" She said in a forced serious tone as the others gave playful glares to the younger teenager.

"What an unfair business that is!" Donatello said with amusement coating his accent. "Dudette, it's much easy to just ask Leo and Scarley to stay in the same way and take pictures ourselves!" Michelangelo said as the oldest two teens turned to him.

"You're ASKING us to do the same thing now?" Scarlette said as the argument continued between the younger siblings; one side demanding the two oldest to mi-mick their earlier state, ;other side refusing the demand.

Leonardo gave up the argument for a little moment to have a look at his adopted siblings. Though, they weren't from the same family the bond between the teenagers had been concealed a longer time before which would make the task of tearing apart from each other, near to impossible within the said siblings. As long as he lives, the raven-haired teen wouldn't allow such a thing to take place anyway.

This was his second family, his second chance... As true as it was that the 18 year old would do anything to take his long lost sisters back towards himself, the said teenager would do ANYTHING to keep his present family withing the reach of safety and comfort of his. He would never hesitate to sacrifice anything in that task. Never.

Erasing the faint frown that had unknowingly gathered upon his lips, the oldest teen joined back to the verbal comforting argument. He had a very important revenge to plan on later... But for now, the moment was to have fun!

End of the Flashback

After a very hard task of convincing to mistress Shen that they'll take care of themselves and that the said mistress should be present at the other unconscious teens in case they woke up, the eight Hamato teens along with their guardian left to their destination within the reach of noon. The improvement was admirable indeed. The dojo was a few day apart from being fully constructed.

After a few moments of walking around admiring the new look of their beloved training room, the small Hamato group of nine set up for a picnic lunch in a nearby park. Apparently this was a idea of the raven-haired teen which he figured to be a very pleasant decision to add more light of happiness to the occasion. And boy was he right!

Everyone was excited when they saw the picnic basket. Specially Kathlene and Michelangelo who went overly hyper at the idea. After having a truly remarkable lunch in the shades of flora, Hamatos again head back to the dojo for a little work out; results of being too bored and thinking it's still early to head back just now.

As the hours ticked by slowly through out the simple work out -which had been an idea of master Yoshi so the still recovers wouldn't have to stress themselves much- Leonardo felt his feeling of dread and incoming danger rising. Remember earlier tinglings of his sixth sense? Yeah, and now it's on the maximum value. Raven-haired teen almost considered warning master Yoshi so they can head back home, possibly avoiding the surely incoming danger...

But again that annoying whispers in the back of his mind -that ensured a great relief after whatever incident that surely had only a few moments left to take place- won't admit defeat that easily either! They decided to put upon a strong volume to their calls; so they won't have a possibility of concealing underneath the said teen's sixth sense. It really was a big mess in the annoyed teen's head.

Like a war between his gut feeling and the not-so-faint whispers in his head. Quickly growing tired of bearing this pointless argument, the 18 year old yelled to the both components, taking his final decision as to listen to those whispers this time. Sure he wasn't very fond of risking his family's and friends' lives...

But he wasn't about to deny that he had a strong desire of getting himself in dangerous situations. He was a natural troublemaker, when he was much younger and innocent. Going on fantasy adventures and putting their lives at, at least a minor threat had been such a major priority to Leonardo and his two younger sisters when they were young. When they were still together. When they still could fight alongside, not against each other...

The 18 year old shook the troubled thoughts away about the present state of them, not really wanting to ruin the perfection in the kata.

He still had a faint desire to have a little dangerous thing to attract to him. He won't be entirely wrong if he said that this, 'facing the incoming threat' decision, had came along such a memory of him and his sisters risking their lives and getting a multiple injuries as tattoos of pride, much to their parents' displeasure. He still remembered the beats of his heart when he felt that his sisters' lives were dangerously closer to a threat more than he preferred. It was a beat of dread and guilty all mixed together...

Again, the beat would be still there shaking his heart to a very uncommon rhythm, if he ever was to risk his family's lives... 'I just... wanna give it a shot!' The teenager reasoned himself dismissing the worry for a little while putting his entire focus on the kata again. 'Nothing would happen SO MUCH bad; now would it?' Little did he knew...

18 year old felt the hair on his neck straightening as an uneasy feeling swept over him. 'It's happening. I can't turn back now.' The teen decided as he swiftly turned around in a natural gracefulness, catching a kunai withing the tips of his fingers; which was aimed to have it's mark as his head...
