I was sitting on the Black's porch waiting for Rachel to arrive. If I got to her before she walked in there would be less of a likely chance of her hurting anyone. The breeze was cool against my skin and besides the chance that this all could go to hell when she got here it was a peaceful day. Billy and Jacob was visiting Charlie, I didn't have to shift at all, and Bella was safe at Sam's place helping Em make muffins.

I could hear it before I saw it. A beat up cab crawling towards the house. As it parked I straightened up ready for anything. Rachel exited the cab looking as if she was sitting in an oven. "Hey stranger." I greeted with a forced smile.

"What is going on with me," she growled storming towards the porch. Sighing I stood ready to toss her into the woods if it was needed. "I'm here and you said that you would explain everything! So explain!"

My wolf growled at the underline Alpha tone she had in her voice. "Why don't you calm down and come with me," I said trying to keep my voice calm.

"No you're going to tell me now!"

Growling I grabbed her by the collar and dragged her towards the woods. "I'll tell you everything but I really can't fucking do it while we're in the open."

"Let me go!"

My body shook as the order reached my ears. "I'll tell you everything once we get away from the prying eyes of your neighbors." Once we were deep enough in the woods I released her roughly. I guess there goes my peaceful day.

"Tell me what's going on Leah," she growled wiping the sweat that was dripping from her face.

My wolf started rippling under my skin at the order. "Stop with the orders Rach. I'm not one to follow them."

"Leah."

"Before I tell you anything I need you to calm down. I can't explain anything if you're about to explode." She nodded her head as she took a few deep breaths. Leaning against a tree I stuffed my shaky hands in my pockets. "For the last few weeks you might have noticed that you've been going through some changes. Like in your height, appetite, or even in your mood." I paused to let her soak in what I was saying. "Have you been having any...dreams that really stuck with you?"

"Yes..."

"Have you found yourself waking up completely drenched in sweat?"

"Have you seen me," she growled. "I'm fucking sweaty right now."

"Calm down," I warned her softly. She growled annoyed. "Do you remember the stories our parents would always told us when we were younger...about the spirit warriors?"

"What does that have to do-"

"They were all real," I said cutting her off.

"Leah...you really want me to buy that bullshit!?"

"I'm telling you the truth."

"You bring me here to tell me that we come from spirit warriors? I wanted real answers!"

"I guess it would be better to show you then telling you, huh?" Before she got the chance to respond I punched her with half of my strength, sending her flying through the woods. Hearing the howl I sighed lightly. "Sam is really going to bitch about this."

Shifting I ran towards the very pissed off Rachel.

*"WHAT THE FUCK LEAH," she growled.

"Yeah I know you're pissed that I fucking punched you but if you calm down for a second you'll see the new you," I explained as I got closer to her.

"Did you really have to force her to shift," Sam growled.

"Sam...Leah...What the fuck...," she trailed off as she saw me. I studied her carefully as she eyed me up and down. Her tan fur reminded me of my first and only dog Honey. "What in the-"

"It's me Rachel," I said calmly.

"How are you in my head? What the fuck are you?"

"She's a wolf, just like you are now. The reason you can hear us in your head is because you are apart of the wolf pack that protects the tribe," Sam answered. "I'm here to help you through this...change and teach you all the things you need to know about being Alpha."

"Alpha?! Are you fucking crazy?"

Soon Sam's black form emerged from the trees followed by Paul and Embry. "We are here to help," Embry said gently.

"Leah why don't you head to the house and check up on the girls. I'm sure they can use a pair of extra hands," Sam more so ordered then asked.

My wolf began to shake in anger as the order tried to take action. Shaking my head I looked over to him. "You need my help too," I growled.

"You punched her," Same growled back.

"Exactly as long as I'm here she isn't going to go anywhere!"

"GO TO THE HOUSE NOW!"

I didn't feel the order hit me like normal. It was more of an annoying itch on the tip of my nose. Biting back the growl in the back of my throat I looked over to Rachel. She looked confused and kind of pissed off but not enough to actually attack yet. Sighing I turned and left taking my sweet ass time.

When I walked into the house I sighed heavily when I saw Bella napping on the couch. I keeled in front of her gently stroking her cheek with my thumb. A small smile spread against her lips. Sighing lightly I gave her a light kiss on the forehead before walking to the dinning room where Emily was drawing.

"Why are you here and not helping the boys out," she asked not looking up from her drawing.

"Sam think he can help her out better then I can...," I trailed off.

"And?"

"And I kind of punched her so she could shift."

Emily chuckled shaking her head. "And that's why you're here now."

"I guess...but it was for the greater good. Letting someone on the brink of shifting walk away is irresponsible."

"How do you figure."

"Because they could shift at any second. That means at any second they could hurt someone without trying to. We got lucky that Jared didn't end up hurting Kim when he shifted." Running fingers through my hair I released a heavy sigh. "I understand there is tons of ways to make someone shift without laying hands on them but Rach isn't one for talking. I don't think she will be able to be around the imprints right away either."

"And why is that?"

"She's extremely pissed the fuck off right now and thanks to Billy and Jake she won't be the easiest to calm."

"But she won't hurt the imprints because she is part of the pack."

I wish that was the case but not being in control of your emotions, your body, and/or you mind is a dangerous thing. One moment you could be having a calm disagreement with your girlfriend's dad and the next thing you're on all four ready to attack. Shaking my head of the memory I looked at Emily with a light smile. "A new wolf makes mistakes. Just because the Alpha doesn't tell you doesn't mean that it doesn't happen. Accidents happen. Sam rarely brings a new wolf to meet the imprints after the first shift. Embry and Jared are most like the only ones he knew could handle being but imprints."

"Rach will be-"

"Rach will try to rip those guys apart to get to her dad and brother. I looked into her head and there is nothing but anger. Sam is going to have us all on babysitting duty while he sends her on a spirit mission," I sighed remembering how long it took for me to find peace with in me. "She'll be okay."

My nose twitched when the rusty smell of blood hit it. My stomach churned as I jetted out the door and burst into my wolf skin. "What happened," I growled.

"She would submit to my orders," Sam growled back.

"She is supposed to be the Alpha! No shit she didn't submit," I growled back. I moved quickly through the forest. Luckily enough for me they weren't too far away. Rachel was snarling at Sam as she backed away. The wound was slowly healing but the smell of blood was heavy in the air. My yellow eyes found Sam's and I bared my teeth at him.

"Everything is in control, Leah," Sam stated with an underlining warning in his tone. "GO BACK TO THE HOUSE."

The order landed on deaf ears as I hunched my back. "Why don't you go back to the house Sam."

Sam paused the growling and looked confused as he backed away from us. "How is this possible..."

"Holy shit," Paul gaped.

My wolf started to claw it's way through my nerves. I had to calm down...I had to gain control before...before..."I take control...," she questioned. She chuckled lightly "Leah...you are in control. You have always been in control."

A/N: Well I know I've been gone for far too long and I know I was supposed to update sooner then way later. But a lot of things kept me busy. Mainly school...which is done until school starts back up in the next few week. I graduated last Friday from the Television/Video Production program. I'm halfway done with my second program (that is halfway done) is eProduction which hopefully won't take all of my time like the last program did. Anyways I'm not promising you updates back to back but I promise that I will update. I haven't forgot about you amazing people :-).

As you can see shit is slowly hitting the fan...

What do you think?
