Despite the music being turned up louder than the speaker instructions recommended, creaking sounds filled the living room. Rin couldn't hear himself panting and grunting over the blaring dance music, but he could feel Nitori's body shuddering beneath his and the coffee table shuddering beneath them both. Sweat dripped from every inch of their bare bodies, their skin sticking together in awkward places, creating slapping noises that joined the mixture of loud sounds drifting around them. Nitori's legs were wrapped around Rin, taking all of him in, his fingers tangled in Rin's sweaty hair, aching for him to be closer. A pause in the music let Rin hear the soft moaning sounds escaping Nitori's throat and he knew they were both close to their limits. Rin was starting to get tired but with considerable effort, he gave an energetic thrust, penetrating deeper and hitting Nitori's sweet spot dead on. The creaking gave way to a splintering sound that neither of the boys noticed.

Underneath their erratic movements and sweaty bodies, a large crack wound its way across the surface of the wooden coffee table. The deafening beat of the music and the sounds of their climaxing, frantic and blissful, consumed their minds so much that they didn't even notice the table breaking beneath them. With one final powerful thrust, Rin came and the table shattered, sending fragments of wood and splinters flying in every direction and the boys hit the floor hard, turning into a pile of tangled limbs and breathless laughter on top of a pile of firewood.

Reaching for the sound system remote which had tumbled to the ground in the fray, Rin muted the music and they both lay there uncomfortably for a moment, catching their breath with jagged pieces of the coffee table poking them in awkward places. Carefully, Rin pulled out of Nitori. To add to the mess made by the coffee table, there was also the "mess" they'd both made. This was just great.

"I told you," Nitori chided between trying to regain his breath and trying to sit up without accumulating a painful splinter. "I told you it wouldn't hold our weight." Rin laughed and ruffled Nitori's hair, standing up and cautiously crossing the room to retrieve some tissues. While he wiped the both of them down, Rin subconsciously hoped the music had been enough to prevent the neighbours from hearing their moaning. The second last thing they wanted was nosy neighbours blabbing about them. As for the very last thing, they didn't want Nitori's mother to know what they occasionally got up to.

The major problem now was how they were going to explain the destroyed coffee table to Nitori's mother when she got home from her weekend away.
